A Little Girl Asked the CEO of Google For a Job - and He Actually Responded!

A 7-year-old girl recently sent Sundar Pichai a letter inquiring about a job and ended up receiving the sweetest letter from the Google CEO. While it's safe to say she did not receive a formal job offer, she may now have an in at the company . . . once she's finished with school, of course.

In her initial letter, Chloe spoke about her love of technology, computers, and robots before asking about Google's job listings. In his response, Sundar wrote, "I'm glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to - from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics." Read the letter in its entirety, below.

Chloe's father later proudly shared the letter on Twitter and thanked Sundar. The tweet currently has more than 600 retweets and nearly 1,000 "likes."

Halle Berry's Oscar Acceptance Speech Will Still Make You Cry, Even 15 Years Later

Halle Berry's Oscar win for Monster's Ball made her the first black woman to win best actress and only the second to win an Academy Award since the ceremony's inception in 1929. She gave a heartfelt, emotional speech that still brings us to tears thanks to its sincerity and passion; Berry didn't just accept the honor on her behalf, but paid homage to the women of color who came before her.

"This moment is so much bigger than me," Berry told the crowd through tears. "This moment is for Dorothy Dandridge, Lena Horne, Diahann Carroll. It's for the women that stand beside me, Jada Pinkett, Angela Bassett, Vivica Fox. And it's for every nameless, faceless woman of color that now has a chance because this door tonight has been opened." Berry will be returning to the Oscars stage on Sunday to mark the 15th anniversary of her historic win, and her acceptance speech is just as relevant as it was in 2002.

Who Is Mahershala Ali? Get to Know the Star Before He Takes Over Award Season

Mahershala Ali is causing major buzz this award season for his role in Moonlight, but this certainly isn't his first encounter with the spotlight. Over the past few years, the 42-year-old has starred in a number of popular movies, but his acting ability is just one of the reasons he's become our new Hollywood crush. Parents, Be Warned: This Over-the-Counter Drug Has Highly Alarming Effects on Children

If your child is suffering from constipation, you may want to think twice about giving them Miralax to alleviate their symptoms. Since 2014, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has been conducting a study about potential disturbing side effects of the over-the-counter drug on kids who consume it.

When the FDA-grant-funded study first began, the federal agency stated that Miralax powder contains polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG 3350), which may degrade into two different toxic ingredients found in antifreeze. A description of the study found on the National Institutes of Health website explains this alarming discovery a bit more in depth.

"The Food and Drug Administration has received a number of reports of adverse events in children taking PEG products," the FDA said. "The Agency has conducted a review that documented a number of reports of neurological and psychiatric events associated with chronic PEG use in children."

Although the study is still in progress and its findings have therefore not been released yet, many parents are coming forward to confirm the FDA's suspicions. Jeanie Ward told ABC6 about how her daughter Nicole was told to take Miralax when she was just 3 and a half years old, even though the drug is typically not recommended for anyone younger than 17 years of age.

Ward described her daughter's "near psychiatric events with paranoia, mood swings, aggression, and rage" after consuming Miralax. Nicole, who is now 19, expressed how she was a "very, very happy child," but that she started "hating everybody" and "wanted to kill everybody" in second grade. "I'm mad that this happened to me," Nicole told ABC6.

But Nicole isn't the only one who has been negatively affected by the medicine, as more than 4,000 parents have joined the Facebook group titled Parents Against Miralax (PEG 3350) to share their stories. The group members discuss the cons of the drug as well as how to approach doctors about its harmful effects.

Until the results of the hospital's study are released, it may be best to consult your child's doctor and avoid giving them Miralax for constipation. You can also try natural ways to relieve their discomfort, such as fiber-rich foods or prune juice.

ICYMI, Whole Foods Has the Most Amazing Self-Serve Mochi Bars

Plenty of Whole Foods stores have self-serve salad bars and hot bars, but does yours have a mochi ice cream bar? If you're lucky, it does. If you haven't bitten into a squishy, sweet, cold mochi, you're seriously missing out.

Whole Foods' eye-catching bins of mochi have a variety of brightly colored flavors, including chocolate, passion fruit, and a favorite of ours, lychee. 36 Photos That Prove Viggo Mortensen Is Everyone's Type

When it comes to men, I don't really have a "type," but I tend toward ruggedly handsome, and I'd never kick a set of chiseled cheekbones out of bed. Hence, my enduring crush on Viggo Mortensen. As far as I'm concerned, Viggo is everyone's type. The chameleon-like actor is devastatingly good-looking, but he resists being the leading man or "movie star." Instead, he chooses challenging roles in all sorts of movies, and he's not afraid to get naked for them, including his recent Oscar-nominated performance in Captain Fantastic. When asked about his penchant for full-frontal nudity in a profile in Esquire, Viggo said he doesn't understand what the fuss is about: "It's just a penis. Every man has one." Over the years, we've seen him engage in a naked knife fight (Eastern Promises), perform cunnilingus on a woman dressed in a cheerleading uniform (A History of Violence), and make sweet, sweet love under a waterfall (A Walk on the Moon). He can morph effortlessly from boyishly handsome to dirty hot, and whatever your "type," Viggo can play it. Here are 36 photos that prove Viggo can be whatever kind of hot you want.

The New Marni Is For the Totally Mod Space Chick in You

When taking in a new Marni collection, one must abandon all expectation. The Italian fashion house has never just been "up on the trends," but a place to start new ones, or at least introduce artful concepts other designers might never imagine. So when Consuelo Castiglioni stepped down last year, and Francesco Risso made his way over from Prada, all eyes were watching. But with his Fall 2017 womenswear debut, Risso did indeed pick up on the brand's DNA, and weaved in a few strands of his own.

If, this season, the suit is being reinvented and giving women fresh new options for wearing coordinates, Marni presents another question entirely: should a lady ever sacrifice comfort for sophistication in the board room or at the office? The Marni blazer comes in a soft, swingy style. It looks like a cropped parka, and some sets are even offered in full shearling - it's the pajama suit of 2017.

Also notable were the accessories. It's not that you wouldn't recognize the shape of a Marni shoe on the street, but in the past, they weren't exactly It-items in the viral sense. Risso is here to change that. This Fall, furry-lined mod patent boots will be sell-outs, along with the circle hip belts, and the bags - some finished with electric green fuzz - have a remarkable, ovular shape. They sort of remind you of the handheld beach radios from the '60s.

But just when we were thinking back in time, Risso brings us to another dimension entirely. His pearl and metal hoop drop earrings are alien-like. They go with huge goggle glasses and bubble bead necklaces. When paired with astronaut shift dresses, the space mission is complete.

Toward the finale, footwear got more colorful, and kitten heels with the thinnest buckles were decorated with some bright shearling. The dresses were even more of a mixed bag. Details included abstract florals, plenty of ruching, and the addition of bustiers and bralettes up top - a layering move that could easily be seen as a nod to Miuccia Prada.

Nevertheless, Risso ended the show with paillette sequins, a signature Marni decoration. These were strung on pastel shifts that really belong on the red carpet, on the likes of Elle Fanning or newcomer Ruth Negga. In white, we could even see them on a quirky bride at her rehearsal dinner. So you see, Risso has taken the reigns at Marni and already appeased customers all over the planet - and beyond.

Contrary to popular belief, really chic women aren't superhuman - they're just well-prepared. If you don't see them running around with week-old coffee stains on their blouses or hobbling in painful heels, it's not because those things just don't happen to them. It's because they know how to deal.

In fact, they're dealing on a daily basis. Truth is, the fashionable friends you envy have some very helpful habits that make looking polished, confident, and cool a daily reality. It's not about a total wardrobe overhaul or dropping tons of cash on the season's biggest trends. Real style starts at home the moment you wake up. We've done the research - all you have to do is read on for the takeaways you can start practicing right now.

11 Times Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore Was All of Us Having a Bad Day

There's not one character American-Argentinean actress Alexis Bledel can play that we won't like - yes, we even liked her as a needy/weird housewife on Mad Men - but her portrayal of Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls will always have a special spot in our hearts. When we needed advice on love, we went to Rory and Lorelai, and when no one understood our coffee addiction, the Gilmore girls certainly did. Even now, 16 years after its premiere and nine years after its finale, Rory is still just like us on our best and definitely our worst days. While you wait for the Netflix reboot to premiere on Nov. 25, see all the times the bookworm was us on a day we woke up feeling grumpy, then remember the glorious day the entire cast reunited.

Fifty Shades Freed: All the New and Returning Cast Members

Now that Fifty Shades Darker has come out, we're all about Fifty Shades Freed. The third and final film in the trilogy is due out on Feb. 9, 2018, and since it was shot in tandem with the second movie, the cast has already been announced. While it was previously reported that Hugh Dancy would appear in the second film as Dr. John Flynn, he has denied the casting. Around the same time, news that Tyler Hoechlin would play Boyce Fox surfaced. Though he did confirm the role, his character doesn't appear in Fifty Shades Darker, meaning he may have been cut from the films. Until we get confirmation either way, we're leaving him out of our roundup. Here are the returning and new cast members we'll definitely see in the upcoming film!

The EGOT: Which Stars Are Almost There?

Even though we've burned through most of award season, the biggest ceremony is still on the horizon: the Oscars. The EGOT - an acronym for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony - is Hollywood's grand slam of awards, and only a handful of celebrities (like Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg, and Mel Brooks) have made the list. For now, Jessica Lange only needs to round out her award collection with a Grammy, while stars like Taylor Swift, Adele, and Sam Smith are halfway there. Justin Timberlake could get that much closer if he wins best original song. And Lin Manuel-Miranda, on the other hand, would clinch the honor if he won instead. Keep reading to see who else is close to an EGOT.

These Hollywood-Inspired Hair Accessories Are Next-Level Gorgeous

Hair accessories are elevating beyond basic barrettes and clips thanks to a collaboration between celebrity stylist Adir Abergel and Lelet NY. The former is known for doing hair for celebrities like Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard, and Jessica Biel (who have already worn pieces from this collection), while the latter, headed by designer Sara Bieler Sasson, is our go-to for dreamy bridal and holiday hair pieces.

The offering includes 15 mixed-metal pieces: headbands, barrettes, cuff, combs, and hairpins. Expect 18 karat gold, rose gold, and antique sterling silver finishes. A standout is the famous Liquid Chain Comb, which went viral on Instagram when Vanessa Kirby wore it to the 2017 SAG Awards.

Two other noteworthy pieces are the Quill Bobbi and Headband, which are hand-molded, ensuring no versions are exactly the same. "I wanted to celebrate women's self-expression with these pieces, the same way I approach working with my clients," Abergel said in a press release. "If I'm doing Kristen Stewart, she's going to be more edgy, with texture and a style that's a bit more deconstructed. Whereas with Rooney Mara, I'm doing more sleek, tight origami shapes and architectural up-dos."

Sasson described the process of physically making these stunners. "We began to test out different metal textures, hand hammering the material until the light moved on the surface like water," she said.

Emma Watson's Belle Dress Is Going to Be Different, but in a Good Way

We all patiently waited for it: the reveal of Emma Watson's Belle dress in Beauty and the Beast. Judging from the photos, the yellow princess ball gown is better than we imagined. Made with silk, the dress has a satin finish that glows for the camera while the layers of organza give the dress a light, bouncy lift. Though parts of the costume has a cage, one specific constricting piece was left out of the new design.

Beauty and the Beast's costume designer Jacqueline Durran revealed in an interview that Belle's dress in the live-action film would not have a corset, a change Emma pushed for herself.

"For Emma, it was important that the dress was light and that it had a lot of movement," Durran said. "In Emma's reinterpretation, Belle is an active princess. She did not want a dress that was corseted or that would impede her in any way."

Given that the actress is a proud feminist and supporter of HeForShe, it's not surprising she spoke up and did away with a tight-fitting bodice in the name of comfort. Scroll through for a glimpse of Belle's updated gown and other outfits, then check out Emma's green red carpet choices on the press tour.

Rare GIF of a Dying Star Will Make You Rethink Your Existence

The Hubble Telescope recently celebrated its 26th birthday, and in those years it has given us an incredible look at the vast world we live in. Case in point: a rare peek at a dying star.

From 2002 to 2006, Hubble captured close-up images of an enormous star named V838 Moncerotis, which sits 20,000 light-years away from Earth. Back then, the star emitted a powerful flash of light that illuminated the dust and gas that surrounded it.

"Hubble's exceptionally sharp focus of V838 Mon offered a ring-side seat at the slow death of the star and excited astrophysicists with the chance to study the physics of the light, matter and microscopic dust of the interstellar medium," writes The Conversation, which offers more details about the life of the star and the cause of that light flash.

Below you can see a time-lapse video of the photos taken by the Hubble. Looks fake, doesn't it?

9 Nonnegotiable Rules of Visiting a Newborn

Newborns are delicate creatures. Their moms even more so. Visiting the pair, no matter how closely related or emotionally tight you are with the new mom, requires sensitivity, planning, and adherence to a specific set of rules. This is not the time to show up unannounced, apologize for your coughing toddler, and request a cup of coffee. If you want to maintain your friendship or family bond - and ever be invited back again - follow these guidelines.

And if you're a new mom wondering worried about your loved ones' historic lack of boundaries, send them this list today!

  1. Schedule your visit in advance, and don't push if Mom's not ready for visitors. Every new mom is different, but most need some one-on-one time with their new addition before they are ready to introduce him or her to the masses. Respect that timeline, whatever it may be, and simply ask if they're ready for visitors. If not, check back a few days or a week later. When the answer's yes, suggest a few times that will work for you and let Mom decide what will work best for her.
  2. Work around Mom's schedule and be on time. New motherhood is an exhausting, sleep-deprived, overwhelming time. If you've been given the green light on a specific time to visit, it's important to remember that time was probably chosen carefully to fit in both Mom and baby's schedule, so be punctual. Not early, not late.
  3. Don't stay too long. Smart moms tell visitors in advance that they are only up for a short visit, but even if you're not given a specific window, you should plan on keeping your visit short and sweet. An hour is probably about right, unless Mom begs you to stay longer.
  4. Bring food. As a new mom, it feels almost impossible to shop, cook, or even feed yourself, so bringing along a meal - home cooked is fine, but a bag of sandwiches from her favorite takeout spot is equally acceptable - is a must. Just make it easy on her by not sending pans or Tupperware that need to be returned.
  5. Wash your hands and ask before you pick up the baby. No matter how irresistible that baby is or how recently you washed your hands before your arrival, just lather up when you get to her house. Also, remember that the baby literally lived inside Mom's body just days before and she's probably still feeling a bit possessive. Be respectful and ask if you can hold the baby. If after a few minutes Mom is looking uncomfortable and itchy to get her back, pass her back immediately.
  6. Offer to let Mom take a shower or nap. If you're close enough to Mom that she'd feel comfortable leaving you unsupervised with the baby, offer to take over for a while. A quick shower or nap can create a world of difference for a new mom. If she declines, however, don't push it.
  7. Just say "no" if Mom asks if you want anything to drink or eat. You are there to help and check in, not to be served. If you're really dying of thirst, get up and get that water yourself.
  8. Don't bring your kids, unless they're healthy and you asked in advance. You'll probably enjoy your visit a lot more if you don't bring your kids and can focus on Mom and baby, but if that's not a possibility, make sure you ask in advance. And if your kid wakes up with a fever or a wicked cough on the morning of your visit, reschedule. Also, remember that while you might be totally comfortable with your 6-year-old holding a newborn, that newborn's mom probably is not. Make sure your kids know and respect boundaries as well.
  9. Don't offer unsolicited advice. If Mom asks questions about breastfeeding, sleep schedules, or postpartum healing, of course, answer with your own experiences and advice, but if not, zip it. This time is about her, not you, so no matter how much her swaddle sucks, keep it to yourself.

How a Sexually Violent, Subversive Thriller Earned Its Star an Oscar Nomination

Warning: mild spoilers follow.

The film Elle has no interest in making its viewers comfortable. Instead, the movie opens on a rape scene that is loud, startling, and brutal. Seeing sexual assault on screen is not out of the ordinary in film; what is out of the ordinary about Elle is almost everything happens in the aftermath of the attack. The French movie, helmed by Dutch director Paul Verhoeven (yes, he also did Showgirls), had until last month flown relatively under the radar in the United States. Certainly, most people watching the Golden Globes in their living rooms were taken by surprise when star Isabelle Huppert won best actress in a drama at the award ceremony - and many were again surprised when she scored an Oscar nomination on Jan. 24. Now, as the movie garners more and more attention, it's sparking a complicated conversation about rape culture, our ideas about victims and survivors, and gender roles. Here's why:

It Offers a Unique, Subversive Take on Gender and Rape Culture

After the rape that opens the film, Michèle (Huppert) throws her dress in the garbage, tidies the shattered china from her living room floor, takes a bath, and orders takeout sushi. She does not call the police. A few days later, while out to dinner with her ex-husband, her best friend Ann, and Ann's husband, she divulges the rape in an emotionless, matter-of-fact way that leaves her loved ones - and certainly most viewers - dumbfounded. The dispassionate announcement is presented as completely strange and even darkly funny.

We also learn that Michèle is not only a victim of rape, but plays an interesting role in propagating rape culture herself. She and her best friend, Ann, own a very successful video game company that thrives on narratives with hyperviolence and sexual fantasy at their centers. Shortly after her own rape, she's reviewing a current cut of a new game with her staff of mostly 20- and 30-something gamer guys, and demands they make a female character's reaction to an assault by an oversize, tentacled monster more "orgasmic." Moments later, in the same meeting, she is challenged and belittled by one of her own employees in a moment that pretty much any woman will recognize as a classic example of workplace sexism. These moments of dissonance continue through the film. Michèle incites our empathy in her vulnerable moments, but she can also be cruel, demanding, and selfish. She is not simple or "likable"; she's human.

It Features a Bold, Mindbendingly Great Performance by Isabelle Huppert

These complexities open the door for a tour de force performance by the 63-year-old Huppert, who has never shied away from controversial material in her career. She is perhaps best known in the states for her role as the masochistic lead character in The Piano Teacher. In 2012, she costarred in Amour, an Oscar-winning, controversial film about an elderly couple and assisted suicide (or murder, depending on your opinion). As Michèle, even the fleeting nuances of Huppert's facial expressions are entrancing, and she embodies Michèle's steely, cool nature as though she were reborn in the character's own skin.

The Ending Is Shocking - and Deeply Ambiguous

I don't want to reveal too much, because I do think this film is worth watching. But the last third of Elle - and, especially, the very end of it - calls almost everything you thought you understood about the movie's take on abuse, rape, and power into question . . . as well as some of what you thought you knew about the plot.

I'm not sure if I can agree with the conclusions it draws, primarily because I'm still not precisely sure what they are. What I do know? The film ends on a moment in which Michèle, as a literal survivor, wields all the power over the men in the room. Still, I can see how some viewers might read the film as a mockery of women, or an anti-feminist backlash to the mens rights-y idea of "victim culture." But my strong hunch is that Michèle's story is intended as a critique of our own complicity in rape culture and a cautionary tale about ignoring a woman's power; whether viewers are comfortable with its means to that end is the question. Days later, and I'm not sure that I am - but the fact that I'm still thinking about it proves, for me, Elle's success as a work of art.

Meet the 3 Performers Who Play Moonlight's Dynamic Main Character

It's time to get out of the house and go see Moonlight. The movie, inspired by the screenwriter's real experiences growing up in Miami, is all over award season right now. It took home the Golden Globe for best drama and is primed to take home a number of awards at the Oscars. While Mahershala Ali and Naomie Harris have scored a majority of the acting nods, he plays a supporting part. The main character is Chiron, who is beautifully acted by three performers; each plays Chiron at a different stage in his life. Here's a primer on each of these talented men!

Alex R. Hibbert as "Little"

Twelve-year-old Hibbert plays the first version of Chiron, who is nicknamed "Little" because of his small stature. So far, Moonlight is Hibbert's first and only role. Hibbert had a personal connection to the role, as he grew up in Miami in a neighborhood similar to the one where the movie is set. "In my community, there's people there that care for you, even though they do bad stuff, like, they sell drugs and stuff," he told NPR. "But, inside they care and they have a heart."

Ashton Sanders as Chiron

Sanders was slightly more experienced when he earned his part of teenage Chiron in Moonlight. He first starred in an indie film called The Retrieval in 2013, then had a small part in 2015's Straight Outta Compton. Like Hibbert, Sanders also related to elements of the movie: "I was bullied from elementary to middle school," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I wasn't as tormented as Chiron was, but taking those experiences and heightening them up was definitely key for me, and allowed me to fully understand the character and drop into the lifestyle of Chiron."

Trevante Rhodes as "Black"

Rhodes, who plays Chiron in his adulthood (now going by the moniker "Black"), is the most seasoned performer. He's one of the stars of If Loving You Is Wrong, Tyler Perry's drama on the OWN network. He's also been in a number of small films and an episode of Westworld. While he's not yet a household name, Rhodes said that people have been recognizing him more even since the trailer came out, telling People: "It's a two minute trailer, and I didn't really expect people to come up to me, but in the gym I had people come up to me teary-eyed and express their love and gratitude for the work. It's just the most insane thing."

The Moving Story Behind This Lunchroom Photo Will Bring You to Tears

Leah Paske hasn't been in the "scary and hard" middle school grades for years, and understandably has forgotten most things about her experience aside from the one time she cried after a boy called her a name on the bus. But when her son who has autism started sixth grade, Paske started feeling a bit of anxiety about middle school all over again.

"Sometimes I'm grateful for his autism," Paske admitted in a post to Facebook. "That may sound like a terrible thing to say, but in some ways I think, I hope, it shields him. He doesn't seem to notice when people stare at him when he flaps his hands. He doesn't seem to notice that he doesn't get invited to birthday parties anymore. And he doesn't seem to mind if he eats lunch alone."

Paske feels worried for her son, and consistently asks him if anything about his day at school made him sad or if he ate lunch with someone. A few weeks into the school year, however, she got her answer to the latter question not from her son, but through a heartwarming photo of him eating lunch with a special new friend.

"Travis Rudolph, a wide receiver at Florida State, and several other FSU players visited my son's school today," she wrote. "I'm not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I'm happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten. This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes."

This NSFW Song Dubbed Over Peppa Pig Is Absolutely Hilarious

Ahh, Peppa Pig, a show that kids collectively love and parents adamantly can't stand. Between the awkward and constant snorting, continuous offensive references to Daddy Pig's weight, and the annoying freakin' narrator who never hits a period, the show is a miss for most parents - but for whatever reason, kids are obsessed.

Luckily for all of us in the "Can't Stand Peppa" corner, someone on Twitter dubbed over a scene of the show with death metal band Bring Me the Horizon's NSFW song, "Antivist," and it's absolutely hilarious. In the scene, Peppa's friends are talking about what kind of music they like when one explains that they aren't fans of children's music (the one thing we've ever had in common with Peppa Pig characters). When he asks Peppa what kind of tunes she enjoys, the little piglet says: "I like this. It's very grown up."

As Peppa hits play on her cartoon boom box and "Antivist" starts blasting, she begins doing the dance to "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" (the song that actually plays in the scene), and we promise you won't be able to help laughing. Watch the video above - without your kids - and enjoy a brief moment of relief from the numbness that comes with watching episode after episode of this ridiculous kid's show.

They say inspiration comes from unexpected places and this is pretty unexpected. If you're looking for a new lunch recipe that'll keep you full without packing on the carbs, Zoe Saldana has the dish just for you. Yes, that Zoe Saldana.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actress, and new mom of three, shared the story behind her favorite Chinese-Latino hybrid dish, a turkey quinoa stir-fry seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil and white wine, in a video for her YouTube channel, Cinestar Pictures.

"My first years in New York were amazing because we were exposed to so many cultures and that means you are exposed to so many variations of food," Zoe said. "I became very, very fond of the Chinese cuisine, so when we moved to Dominican Republic I really, really, really missed having amazing, delicious, Chinese food." That's when her mom started cooking dishes featuring the flavors of Asian cuisine with tropical vegetables available to her on the Caribbean island. Years later, Zoe is sharing her favorite gluten-free version of that stir-fry she ate as a kid, and it looks delicious. Press play above for the recipe.

Celine Dion's Debut Handbags Have the Sweetest Detail You Can't Miss

Celine Dion is growing her empire one handbag at a time. Following the news that she would be launching an accessories range with the Bugatti Group, the undeniable icon just unveiled select pieces from the Celine Dion Collection at a press conference in Las Vegas.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Celine reportedly displayed about 70 pieces from her collection at a trade show on Feb. 21. Her entire collection, however, will feature a whopping 200 pieces including backpacks, clutches, wallets, and even tech accessories. In a particularly candid moment, Celine thanked him for transforming her style in the best way she knows how: through song . . . while wearing an amazing ensemble from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring 2017 collection, no less.

Items from the Celine Dion Collection - which range from $78 to $1,998 - won't be officially available until September, however, four pieces will be available on her website on a presale basis starting Feb. 27. Justin Hartley's Advice to His Younger Self Could Double as a Motivational Poster

We just can't get enough of This Is Us. From the characters to the painfully relatable themes to all the sad twists, it's pretty obvious why it has become one of the hottest new shows on TV. Of course, one of the most interesting parts about the series is how it portrays the characters in various stages in life by jumping back and forth in time. POPSUGAR recently had a chance to talk with one of the show's charming stars, Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin Pearson on the show, and we asked him what advice he would give himself at teenage Kevin's age.

While his character hasn't made the best decisions in the past, he explained that Kevin is finally learning to listen to people's advice, be more confident in himself, and take ownership for his mistakes. Not only is this something he wishes he could tell his younger self, but it's a lesson he is currently teaching his 12-year-old daughter, Isabella. "Everybody messes up," he said. "Good people do bad things sometimes and instead of defending it, try to recognize it, see what it is, apologize for it, and move on from there and try not to do it again."

Take a Trip Down Memory Lane With Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield's Relationship Timeline

Former couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have already come face to face during a handful of events this award season, including the Critics' Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, and the AFI Awards luncheon, where they had a sweet reunion while dropping by each other's tables. The two have been able to maintain an amicable friendship since their breakup in October 2015, but their recent run-ins and cute quotes about each other have us feeling nostalgic about the way they were. Now that both Andrew and Emma are confirmed to attend the Oscars - Emma nabbed the best actress nomination for her role in La La Land while Andrew is up for best actor for his role in Hacksaw Ridge - we're hoping for another heartwarming moment to add to our list. Look back on the details of their offscreen romance.

The Beginning

  • Andrew and Emma met in 2011 on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man. They played onscreen couple Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, and a real-life romance soon developed. Though the pair often hit the red carpet together and showed sweet PDA on the streets of NYC, they were notoriously private about their relationship in interviews. Emma once told the Wall Street Journal, "I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
  • They zigzagged the globe together while promoting the superhero film in 2012 - as well as the sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in 2014 - and also made time to promote causes near and dear to their hearts. Emma had Andrew by her side at a breast cancer foundation benefit in honor of her mom, and they both lent their time to children's charity events during many of their press stops.
  • Emma and Andrew gave fans glimpses of their love during a steamy day on the beach and an especially goofy trip to Disneyland in 2012, which Andrew later revealed was "heaven" because they were high the whole time. In addition to their Spider-Man press, they also hit the red carpet for the Met Gala in May 2014 (Andrew's first) and at an NYC premiere of Magic in the Moonlight two months later.

The Beginning of the End

  • By Spring 2015, Emma and Andrew hadn't made a joint red carpet appearance together in nearly a year. While Emma made the rounds during award season, attending the Golden Globes and the Oscars as a nominee for her work in Birdman, Andrew was noticeably absent from both events.
  • In April, a source close to the couple confirmed to People that Andrew and Emma had decided to take a break from seeing each other, adding, "They're both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage."
  • Shortly after the "break" news broke, Andrew was photographed in Taiwan filming the Martin Scorsese film Silence while Emma was spotted looking happy and relaxed while at Disneyland with her brother, Spencer. She was also seen leaving her stylist's office in LA carrying a handful of shopping bags, one of which had "Andrew Garfield" written on it. This got us very excited about the prospect of a reconciliation.
  • Emma and Andrew appeared to be giving things another try - or at the very least, doing their best to stay friends. In May 2015, six weeks after it was reported that they were on a break, People wrote that "their romance is back on," adding details about an LA sushi date that had taken place that week. Days later, they were seen leaving a Ralphs grocery store together.

The Actual End

  • In October 2015, news broke that Emma and Andrew had decided to split for good. "They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close. It just wasn't working," Us Weekly reported. Much like in their relationship, both Emma and Andrew stayed pretty mum about the split.

What Remains

  • Despite their not being a couple anymore, it seems like there's really no love lost between these two. In August 2016, Emma and Andrew were photographed having a friendly reunion in London, but before fans could jump at the chance to speculate that they had rekindled their romance, the rumors were shot down - People reported that "they're definitely not dating," and the world let out a collective "ugh."
  • Just when we were starting to be OK with the whole thing, Andrew added salt to our wounds. During a December 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was asked who he would want to be stranded with on a desert island. "Emma Stone," he replied. "I love Emma. She's all right. She can come."
  • Award season approached, and both Emma and Andrew were garnering industry praise for their work in La La Land and Hacksaw Ridge, respectively. They were both in attendance at the Critics' Choice Awards in December, and while we never got photographic proof of a reunion, we were delighted to see the two having a friendly chat during the AFI Awards luncheon a couple of weeks later.
  • Emma was once again in the spotlight when she took home the best actress award at the Golden Globes in January 2016, and Andrew was once again front row for her big night. When Emma's La La Land costar Ryan Gosling approached the stage to accept his best actor win, Andrew and Ryan Reynolds - who were also nominated in the category - shared a kiss for the cameras to comfort each other. Later, in the press room, Emma reacted to the stunt like any shocked ex would, first acting nonchalant and then letting out a laugh.

After This Child Nearly Hanged Herself on the Playground, 1 Mom Is Warning All Parents

Marley Oster is lucky to have Madison as her friend. Not only because the girls get along so well, but also because the 8-year-old saved Marley's life. When Marley went for one last ride down a school slide during recess, the safety clip on the hat she was wearing got stuck and the string nearly strangled the child. Her mom, Gail, explained that as the hat got caught, her child kept sliding and it pulled her neck back into a "strangulation position," leaving the 6-year-old hanging and unable free herself.

Madison climbed down the slide and worked to free her friend, but because the plastic clip was jammed in a crack, it took time. Marley was rushed to the doctor and left with rope burn across her neck. According to Gail, her doctor let them know that if Marley had been stuck for 45 seconds longer, her windpipe could have collapsed. She also could've broken her neck if another kid had gone down the slide immediately after her.

"Please all parents either check your child's hat that the clip releases under pressure or cut the cord completely off the hat," Gail pleaded on Facebook along with raw photos of Marley's injuries.

This is not the first local schoolyard strangulation, so as a result, public schools in South Australia have mandated that cords and straps from hats and hoodies be removed. Gail had just purchased this hat for Marley and wants other parents to realize that a plastic clip isn't enough to keep their kids safe.

"I bought it on Wednesday, I had it on her head on Thursday, and even now if you try to unclip the hat it's very hard, it doesn't unclip," she told the Daily Mail. "It's not an isolated incident. A lot of parents have said these hats have done this kind of damage."

Although the school district's ban against strings on the playground is a step in the right direction, Gail wants all drawstrings to be forbidden. "No cords and no clips, it's a hazard. Thankfully, the parents that have been affected with these hats, we've been able to take our kids home. But one day that won't happen," she said. "There will be a child that dies, there will be a family that gets that phone call."

This Marijuana Cold Brew Will Give You a Serious Buzz

If you've ever dreamed of drinking weed-infused cold brew coffee, such an idea exists and it's called Somatik ($12). The new cannabis beverage company partnered with Ritual Coffee "to bring you (damn good) single-origin coffee, infused with pure California grown flower." While Somatik promises each bottle has "just the right dose of cannabis and caffeine for a mild euphoric effect and balanced experience," it does clearly state on the bottle that it contains 15 mg THC. According to High Times' "10 Commandments of Marijuana Edible Safety," "Eating 10–25 milligrams of THC will make your muscles relax, and waves of bliss will blanket your body. Giggling and silliness are common. You will feel relaxed and cozy . . . The high can last from four to six hours, or longer with higher doses."

While those clearly versed in edibles may know their tolerance, if you're new to consuming cannabis, High Times recommends "start[ing] with a low dose of 10 milligrams of THC and wait[ing] two hours before consuming any more cannabis." That would be approximately 2/3 of the bottle. Somatik says you can expect the beverage to taste "light-bodied and smooth with subtle notes of cherry, a hint of herbaceous flavor, and undertones of bright lemon." Sounds like a pretty brilliant way to wake up. SF Weekly says you can find Somatik at Harvest in San Francisco, Magnolia Wellness in Oakland, or online at Cannvis.
