We FINALLY Figured Out How to Turn Off Those Annoying Instagram Live Notifications

You've probably noticed most of your friends are enjoying Instagram's live video feature - mostly because you won't stop getting notifications about it. While it might be nice to know when your favorite celebrities - or your crush - are broadcasting live, you could probably live without being notified the next time your neighbor wants to ramble about how bored they are on a Friday night. We feel your pain, so we did some digging to find out how to turn off those pesky notifications. Follow our step-by-step guide ahead.

I'm Not Ashamed of My 2 C-Sections, So Don't Try to Make Me Feel Bad

I gave birth to two healthy baby boys, and I never felt a single contraction. No, I'm not a '50s-style mom who was happily knocked out for her delivery and awoke to find a burrito-wrapped baby in my arms. I'm a double C-section mom, and I'm not ashamed to say that both surgeries were scheduled in advance.

I write this as I sit here looking at a photo of my two happy boys goofing around on the beach. At 8 and 5 years old, I'm well past the stage of sharing birth stories on a regular basis. But when you meet new parents, that's often where the conversation turns. They usually share their story first and then ask you to share yours. This is how the conversation usually goes once I say I had a C-section.

"How long were you in labor before they took you in?"

"I wasn't. I never felt a contraction. My baby was breech, and the doctor said this was the safest option."

"You didn't even try?"

"No, it wasn't a question of trying. It had more to do with the doctor trying to keep both the baby and me safe."

"You must have been disappointed."

(Muffled words) "Uh, yeah. Sure."

The truth is, no, I wasn't, and I'm still not disappointed. Not for one second.

At 39-and-a-half weeks pregnant, I went in for my weekly checkup. I had felt a lot of movement earlier in the week, but a phone call to the doctor assured me that it was normal. When I walked in the door, the first thing the doctor said was that I still hadn't "dropped." I was still carrying this baby up by my boobs. He began the exam and told me I wasn't effaced, and there wasn't even a hint that this baby was coming any time soon. He went on to do a sonogram and determined that all of that crazy movement I had felt was the baby actually flipping. My first-born-to-be was no longer head-down facing backward. He was butt-down, facing forward with his legs in a V position, known as a Frank breech position. Given that I was past the 37th week of pregnancy and that the baby was measuring large, my doctor wanted to do a C-section before I went into labor and became an emergency. I immediately burst into tears - not because I wouldn't experience the birth plan I had in my head (I really didn't have one), but because I wasn't prepared to have a baby that day. I figured if I had gone into labor, I'd at least have a few hours to mentally prepare. At this rate, I would have a baby in my arms within the hour.

My doc was nice enough to give me a 20-hour reprieve and arranged for me to meet him at the hospital early the next morning. A few hours later, I was on the operating table, and a few minutes after that, my husband and I saw our baby for the first time. Within seconds I was holding him, and within the hour I was attempting to nurse my son. He was healthy, I was healthy, and the whole process was easy. No, I never felt a contraction, and no, I don't have a pushing and crowning story, but I do have a birth story, and I'm proud to tell it.

A few years later, when I was halfway through my second pregnancy, my doctor and I began discussing VBACs, and as my due date drew near, we decided it wasn't the safest option for me. So this time I scheduled my surgery ahead of time, made plans for my older son, and walked to the hospital (we only lived two blocks away) with my C-section plan in mind.

But for some reason, even though a third of all US babies are born via surgery these days, there's still a stigma attached to it. Some women's C-sections are emergencies, occurring after hours (sometimes days) of labor. Some are planned well in advance, and some, like my first, just happen. Yes, we are a litigious country, and the high C-section rate is often blamed on doctors who are afraid of malpractice suits. But for whatever the reason, can't we agree that if you have a healthy baby in your arms, you didn't do anything wrong and you don't have anything to apologize for? I shouldn't have to wear a scarlet letter - and neither should my kids - for giving birth to a healthy child. Because when our kids are on the playground together, can you look at them and distinguish how each was born?

The Meaning Behind Chance the Rapper's Signature "3" Caps

Image Source: Getty / Tim Mosenfelder

Chance the Rapper's rise to fame has been exciting and inspiring to watch; in 2016, the 23-year-old Chicago native released Coloring Book, his third independent mixtape, which was streamed 57.3 million times on Apple Music in its first week. Just last month, Chance also took home three Grammy awards for best new artist, best rap album, and best rap performance. His time in the spotlight has brought about lots of interest in his life as well as a major question about his style. In addition to rocking skinny overalls and pastel-colored suits, Chance has become known for a signature accessory: baseball caps emblazoned with the number three. So, what's the meaning behind them?

Image Source: Getty / Michael Kovac

Chance has been vocal about his love for baseball caps, saying, "I used to always rock a cap when I was in high school and get them taken away. After they gave back a few caps to other kids, they would just give me the box because the rest were all my hats." When asked why he's been rocking the number three on his head, the answer was pretty simple. "I just thought that that made the most sense because it was [my] third project," he told GQ, adding, "Since then, I've rationalized it to myself that it stands for the third mixtape, the Holy Trinity, and the three-pronged family of myself, my daughter, and my girl."

In 2011, Chance recorded his first mixtape, 10 Day, while serving a ten-day suspension from Jones College Prep High School in Chicago. He released his second offering, Acid Rap, in April 2013 and caught the attention of label execs, music critics, and the BET Hip Hop Awards, where it was nominated for best mixtape. His third project, the soulful, celebratory Coloring Book, dropped in May 2016 to widespread acclaim - and Chance's star (and accessory) has been steadily on the rise ever since.

Now you know! And now you can buy your own "3" cap to wear while bouncing around to "No Problem."

12 Tips Anyone With an Amazon Echo Should Learn, Use, or Try

Whether you bought one for yourself or got one as a gift, you can't deny the Amazon Echo is pretty awesome. Sure, it takes time to get used saying "Alexa," but you get over that pretty quickly. If you want to learn a few more tips to get the most out of your Echo, Dot, or Tap, read some of our tips ahead.

  1. Change Alexa's voice: Go to Settings > Language Support and change Alexa's voice to either a British accent or to the German language.
  2. Ask Alexa information about restaurants and shops: Since Alexa works with Yelp, you can ask your Echo when a bank closes or the hours of a store.
  3. Shop using only your voice: Never forget an item you need simply by saying "Alexa, order" and finish with the item you need. You'll get the price and ability to confirm what you want to buy, so don't worry too much about drunk shopping.
  4. Choose a different "wake" word: Feel weird saying Alexa? Go to Settings > Wake Word and change it to either Echo or Amazon.
  5. Pick which app streams your music: If you already subscribe to Spotify or love using Pandora, you can go to Settings > Music and Media and change the default music option.
  6. Give your Echo new skills: Tap on the three bars at the top left corner of the app and head to Skills. Here, you can enable thousands of skills to use with Alexa, like Jeopardy, Starbucks, Dog Facts, and more.
  7. Get caught up on the news: Simply say, "Alexa, what's new" and you'll hear the news. Or set up your Flash Briefing by going to Settings > Accounts > Flash Briefing to pick and choose what sources you want to hear news from.
  8. See what's on your Google Calendar for the day: First, you need to connect your Google Calendar with the Alexa app by going to Settings > Accounts > Calendar and linking your account. Once that's set, all you have to say is "Alexa, what's on my calendar today?" to see what's going on. You can also add events to your calendar.
  9. Quickly set a timer: Just say, "Alexa set a timer for 5 minutes" (or however long you need), and the timer will start.
  10. Ask Alexa to do the math: Need to convert something or quickly divide numbers? Just say, "Alexa, 16 times 57" or "Alexa, 50 pounds to dollars."
  11. Train Alexa to recognize your voice better: Go to Settings > Voice Training and say different phrases to help Alexa learn your voice more.
  12. Delete anything you've ever said to Alexa: Wary of Amazon collecting your data? Then delete everything you've asked. First, head to Amazon on a desktop computer or mobile browser. Then, go to Your Account > Manage Your Content and Devices > Your Devices. On this page, click on the three little dots by your device and click Manage voice recordings. You'll get another pop-up window to read, and then click the Delete option.

This Video May Prove Gordon Ramsay Is Actually the Original Salt Bae

A man truly before his time

The Salt Bae meme has been such an explosion that the Turkish chef is opening a restaurant in NYC. However, one Redditor claims Gordon Ramsay is the original Salt Bae and this video with Conan (from 2011) proves it. Chef Ramsay uses the iconic technique that sort of resembles throwing a basketball to which Conan brilliantly exaggerates. The truth is, almost every cook is taught to season from afar (at least a few feet) so the salt granules will evenly disperse on the food. So maybe, the OG Salt Bae is actually Escoffier?

24 Kate Middleton GIFs That Will Make You Say "Me"

At first thought, it may not seem like there's anything relatable about Kate Middleton - yes, she may have been considered a commoner when she first married Prince William, but these days she's a card-carrying member of the royal family, right up there in cultural significance with Queen Elizabeth II herself. But for all of her very, very princess-like moments, Kate occasionally shows sides of herself that prove she might be just as normal as we are after all.

This Coroner's Important Warning About Bath Time That Every Parent Needs to Hear

Seven-month-old Alex McCartney was taking a bath with his older sister after a day filled with playing in the snow. His mother, Joanne Pedlow, stepped out of the room - she had gone downstairs to quickly heat up water and was momentarily sidetracked by guests at her front door - but came racing back when she heard her 2-year-old daughter's desperate screams. Unfortunately, Joanne didn't make it back to the bathroom in time.

Despite trying desperately to resuscitate her baby, the mother from Northern Ireland was unable to save her son.

Even though Joanne had placed Alex in his blue baby bath seat, next to his sister, with the water only up to his belly button, Alex was found face-first in the water with his bottom sticking up out of the bubbles. According to Joanne, the bath seat was secured to the tub with suction cups and the bath water did not reach past the bath seat's water level marker.

"He was quite a big child and was quite heavy, I think he had leaned forward and toppled [the seat] over," Joanne said.

When paramedics arrived, they were unable to find Alex's pulse, and the little boy died, in his mother's arms, four days later at the hospital. The coroner on his case hopes that this tragedy will prevent another child from losing his or her life. Any amount of time - even just for a quick minute to run downstairs - is too long to leave a little one unattended in the bath.

"This has highlighted the important issue for parents about the dangers posed when a child is left unsupervised for a short period of time and even in the shallowest of water," Suzanne Anderson said in court. "Hopefully this message will serve to spare the agony this family has had to endure."

Penn Badgley's Bride Chose the Most Low-Key Wedding Dress

It wasn't Dan Humphrey's style to have a big, extravagant wedding, nor his alter ego Penn Badgley's. The Gossip Girl star quietly tied the knot with Domino Kirke (her sister is Jemima Kirke from Girls) in a small, intimate courthouse wedding in Brooklyn, New York. While Penn wore a navy suit, his bride slipped into a lace minidress with sleeves and a pair of classic pumps. She covered up with a coat and, save for a small floral bouquet, there was little indication she was getting married.

The low-key couple then celebrated their nuptials with friends and family, where Domino stayed in the same dress. Unlike some over-the-top brides who have multiple outfit changes, it seems Domino was happy with her choice. The timeless dress is likely one she can wear again. Lady Gaga Performed in the Most Expensive Hat We've Ever Seen

For a while, there had been one accessory Lady Gaga rarely left home without: a wide-brim, Gladys Tamez hat. The star paired them with a variety of her outfits, and while she seems to favor the pink design that appeared on her Joanne album cover, she's stepped out in yellow and dark-colored options as well. To some, the piece may seem somewhat tame - versatile and pretty normal for Gaga.

But the singer's hat at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion show definitely proved her days of outrageous fashion choices are far from over. On stage, Lady Gaga once again wore a Gladys Tamez piece, but this time it was embellished, had fringe, and cost a whopping $1 million. The brand said it was an "an homage to the million dollar fantasy bra," and looking at it, we were pretty impressed - not to mention jealous.

Scroll through to see the expensive piece from a few different angles, then see how Lady Gaga has worn similar styles off duty, and hold out for her next performance in one. Want one for yourself? Shop a (less expensive) pick from the brand ahead.

If Your Child Is Sitting Like This, Here's Why You Need to Stop Them Now

My daughter's just over a year old, so there's really not much she's doing "wrong" yet. (Trust me, like all of us, she'll get there.) If she smacks our family pet, it's less hostility and more that she doesn't have full control of her arms. If she throws her food, it's not an act of insubordination but just her method of communicating that she's done eating. So, when a family member alerted me to something my child was doing that she needed to stop at once, I was taken aback. Especially because, at that particular moment, she wasn't stealing her playmate's toys or eating an expensive coaster as she's sometimes known to do. She was just sitting there.

Turns out, the way she was sitting - with each leg splayed at her side, knees in front and feet behind, to form a "W" shape - was all kinds of bad.

According to a vast majority of physical therapists, there are several key reasons why:

  1. W-sitting limits core strength because it gives kids a wider base of support. Because they don't have to engage their abdominal or back muscles in this position, kids often prefer it to more challenging, tiring positions, like with legs in front, at their sides, or crisscrossed.
  2. W-sitting causes muscle tightness, particularly in the legs and hips but also knees and ankles.
  3. W-sitting aggravates neurological issues such as low muscle tone, which means when kids aren't actively using their muscles, those muscles are floppier and softer and have a harder time holding their bodies upright.

What this all means, most therapists agree, is that prolonged W-sitting throughout childhood can lead to a delayed development in gross motor skills like coordination and balance. For those parents hoping to raise a star athlete, this position's effect on postural muscles can also be cause for concern.

Why do some kids sit like this? It's by far the steadiest way for children of all ages to sit, and aside from that innate tendency to achieve the most stability, it's also been attributed to time spent in infant carrier devices, like swings, bouncy seats, and car seats.

Seeing as my daughter had graduated from infancy, I was immediately concerned that the damage was already done. I had tried my best to limit her time in her baby swing and the oversize, overpriced ExerSaucer that I had bought under the assumption it was actually good for a baby's development, but here she was, W-sitting at every turn. I had never noticed it until now.

What can be done? Well, the somewhat alarmist recommendation is to get them to stop doing it immediately - that, whenever you see your child W-sitting, you either physically move their legs into a suitable position (if they're too young to understand) or tell them to do so.

So, with a watchful eye, I adjusted her legs every time she sat incorrectly, and my husband and I instructed our child's caretakers to do the same. Occasionally I'd correct her, and it'd be fine, but plenty of times, adjusting one of her legs would make her cry and most times, doing so annoyed her to the point that she was no longer interested in sitting and scooted off to go do something else.

She wasn't the only one getting fed up, and it had only been a week. I dug a little deeper and found that a few pediatric occupational therapists out there don't view this seated position as a problem necessarily. There's not much evidence that shows causation. That is, yes, children who W-sit often have orthopedic issues and muscle tightness. But W-sitting hasn't been proven to be the cause of those issues, which makes one wonder: could tight hamstrings and hip dysplasia lead to W-sitting, not the other way around?

One such unconvinced therapist, Rachel Coley, happens to be the mother to a W-sitter and maintains it's perfectly normal for kids to sit this way.

She notes that it's a simple sign of flexibility and aids in fine motor control because you need to assume the most stable seated position possible when engaging in tasks that require "coordinated, controlled movements of the hands and fingers." Coley also noted that, for babies in particular, W-sitting provides a convenient, "natural transition" from crawling or kneeling to sitting.

However, based on how strongly most certified therapists feel about W-sitting, I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to keep my eye on it, and I'll encourage other parents who were unaware of this issue to do the same, especially if they have older kids showing some of the negative side effects. But, if my child is having the time of her life smacking two wooden blocks together, I'm not going to spoil the fun if she happens to be W-sitting.

Adele Gushes Over Husband Simon Konecki: "I've Found My Next Person"

Adele confirmed that she and longtime partner Simon Konecki are married at the Grammys, and during her concert in Brisbane on Sunday, the singer couldn't help but gush over her other half. While discussing the ex-boyfriend who inspired her song "Someone Like You," Adele told the crowd, "That feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth, and I am addicted to that feeling . . . I've found my next person."

Adele and Simon first sparked marriage rumors when they both stepped out wearing matching gold bands on their ring fingers in LA back in December. Adele sported the bauble while doing some grocery shopping around town, and days later, Simon donned a similar ring while shopping with their son, Angelo.

5 Theories That Could Explain Who Rey's Parents Are in Star Wars

We came away from watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens with more questions than we can count, but the one that hasn't ceased to stop itching our brains since we left the movie theater is the matter of Rey's parents. While the character, played by Daisy Ridley, is unquestionably the hero of Episode VII, much of her past and familial lineage is shrouded in mystery. J.J. Abrams shed some light on the topic during an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016 that seems to have ruled out the biggest theories about Rey's parents, saying, "Rey's parents are not in Episode VII, so I can't possibly say in this moment who they are. But I will say it is something that Rey thinks about, too." Is Abrams just trying to throw fans off the scent of Rey's real parents? Now that the title of Episode VIII has been revealed, we're revisiting our major theories. major spoilers below!

Why Eva Mendes Named Her Daughter Esmeralda After a Disney Character

In 2015, Eva Mendes stopped by The Wendy Williams Show and opened up about having her daughter Esmeralda and a big Cuban family to help her raise her.

Eva kept it real when she said she's never appreciated her family as much as she does now that she's a mom, adding, "It's like a takeover. The Cubans are coming. It's amazing. They take the baby, there's food, the dishes are done. It's a beautiful takeover." The mom, who just celebrated her daughter's first birthday, also says she doesn't technically have a nanny (though she's "not antinanny, you do what you have to do as a parent") but likes to clarify that she does have help and is grateful for all the extra hands around to support her.

The actress and fashion designer also revealed the story behind the name Esmeralda, saying it came from a Disney movie: "We love Hunchback of Notre Dame. We loved the name, the cartoon, and the novel, you know - it just kind of kept coming back to us. It's actually a very popular Latin name so it's easy for my father and certain family members that still don't speak English to pronounce. That was a good selling point." Watch the full interview above to find out what Eva thinks about the term "bouncing back," and then check out her recent quotes about motherhood.

4 Theories About Kylo Ren and Rey's "Strange Connection" in Star Wars

If you think the Force has awakened in the Star Wars universe, just wait until you catch wind of this. Recently, it seems the official Star Wars website made two seemingly tiny changes to the bios of Kylo Ren and Rey. On Kylo's side, it says, "A mysterious connection seemed to link the two." Meanwhile, on Rey's side, it says she was "captured by the dark side warrior Kylo Ren, with whom she shared a strange connection." Hold up. Strange? Mysterious? It's true, we had an inkling that there was more to their relationship than meets the eye, but maybe we're not going deep enough. So we came up with some theories.

1. They're Related

One of the most common theories about Rey's parents is that she's a Skywalker. Sure, it's obvious. But Rey does find Luke's lightsaber by sheer power of the Force. She shows obvious Force sensitivity and enhanced abilities out the gate. Then there's the fact that Kylo Ren sees the island Luke's on while reading Rey's mind! Kylo Ren is obviously a Skywalker: he's the son of Leia Organa. If the two are related, it's a crazy showdown of brother and sister, of Luke and Leia, and of the dark side and the light.

2. They're Destined For the Classic Skywalker/Palpatine Model

Another popular theory out there is that Rey is a descendant of Emperor Palpatine. This would set her and Kylo Ren up for a Star Wars face-off that occurs in every single trilogy: a Palpatine vs. a Skywalker. In the first trilogy (numerically), Anakin Skywalker faces off against Emperor Palpatine. In the second, Luke goes up against the same villain, who has since become even more evil. This would create a sort of destiny between the two names. Rey, a Palpatine, going against Kylo Ren, a Skywalker. What's more, the Palpatine bloodline has shifted to the light side, while a Skywalker has gone dark. Who knows how it could turn out?

3. They Mark the End of the Jedi and the Sith

In this new trilogy, there are no Jedi or Sith . . . yet. On the good side, we have Force-sensitive individuals like Maz Kanata and Lor San Tekka and Rey and even Finn. They all demonstrate Force skills in varying degrees, but none of them are Jedi knights. Kylo Ren, of course, is a member of the First Order, but neither he nor Snoke identifies as a Sith lord. Now that we know Episode VIII is called The Last Jedi, it seems we're coming to a real turning point. Regardless of who the last Jedi is, what if Rey and Kylo Ren represent the future of the galaxy? What if everything changes once they both harness their power? It's hard to say what this would mean, but it's certainly interesting to consider.

4. Their Connection Will Result in Insane Consequences

We know Kylo Ren is very troubled. It's clear his journey to the dark side has been tumultuous, and Han Solo very nearly draws him out of it. Rey, on the other hand, seems to have a darkness in her. There's that moment during her lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren, where she very nearly delivers a deadly blow and kills him. Furthermore, Kylo recognizes this darkness in her as well. He offers to train her! What if they switch spots? What if Kylo pulls Rey to the dark side just as he finds himself drawn to the light? What if all the heroes are actually villains and vice versa? It could change the whole trilogy as we know it.

The Last Jedi hits theaters on Dec. 15.

It’s Official: a Lego Women of NASA Set Is Coming Soon!

When I was growing up, the only woman in science I ever heard of was Sally Ride. It took my own research and time to learn about other women I could look up to. It's an issue many women are aware of - and worry about what message society is sending to little girls who want to have a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Well, thanks to one designer, girls will get the chance to learn about five women who made an impact and created a legacy at NASA, including Katherine Johnson, one of the main characters in the film Hidden Figures, thanks to a new Lego set.

The Women of NASA Lego set, designed by Maia Weinstock, the deputy editor of MIT News, showcases five women with storied careers at NASA. They are Margaret Hamilton, Katherine Johnson, Sally Ride, Nancy Grace Roman, and Mae Jemison. The set features different aspects of what these women accomplished like Roman posing with the Hubble Space Telescope - a project she helped develop. There's also Jemison, the first black woman who went to space, next to the Space Shuttle. Johnson poses with a pencil and other technology - key tools to calculate information for the Mercury and Apollo programs.

It wasn't easy for the Women of NASA set to get to this point. It was originally submitted as a concept to Lego Ideas on July 18, 2016. Any Lego Ideas project needs at least 10,000 supporters, and then the Lego Review Board needs to approve the idea. The Women of NASA set achieved both, with the Lego Review Board giving the project a green light on Feb. 28.

No final details about availability or price are out yet, but we can't wait to see girls discover and learn about these women. See photos of the adorable and incredible Lego set ahead.

To the Parents Out With Their Young Kids: I Wish I'd Had Your Balls

I'm sure we all think about that point; when the majority of the whining is over, when the tantrums turn to teenage silent treatments, and our hardest task is getting the kids to put down their phone, instead of stopping them from tossing pancake-syrup-covered dishes against a wall. When the quiet descends.

There's a point in every mother's life when we think that is never going to happen. When we think the chaos will extend until the end of time.

But it does happen. It has happened. My youngest is 13 now.

Silence has descended - for the most part. In between the pleas for clothes, makeup, and hair dye (which often come via text message, by the way), silence has left me thinking about what I've missed. And I have a confession.

I was the mom who left her kids at home.

I was the mom who picked out back-to-school clothes and supplies with no input from the one they were bought for.

I was the mom who would rather grocery shop at 3 a.m. than midday, with the kids in tow.

I was the mom who dined out alone, or not at all.

I was the mom who lived her life in fear of judgment.

Now I'm a mom who regrets that.

You know, teenagers are just as annoying out in public. They talk too loudly and inappropriate words flow from them like water from hoses. They can be rude, and God help you if you look at one of them the wrong way.

Yet that behavior is accepted by society. No one has ever approached me after one of my teens blocked an entire store entrance, just for the perfect selfie, and asked me why I didn't leave them at home to do my shopping.

I didn't get publicly scolded when one picked up a banana in the produce section and attempted to re-create proper condom placement, as learned in health class ("Just practicing, Mom!" Wink, wink).

No, no one suggested I go it alone from that point on.

You don't see stories on the internet, or Facebook postings, of me crying in my car because some stranger said something about my teen's behavior that broke my heart.

Instead we save our criticism for the most vulnerable. The parent with three young kids and a full shopping cart. The parent with a baby in a stroller and a 2-year-old playing hide and seek among the coat racks at Burlington. The mom who is trying to grab a quick bite, and feed her kids, maybe even spending some quality time coloring on thin paper with broken crayons at IHOP, when that pancake-syrup-covered plate hits a wall. When their kids are being kids.

We save our hits for the most vulnerable, who probably haven't had more than four hours of sleep in a row since half-past never.

Yet these parents battle on. Sometimes brought to tears we don't see because they wait to reach the safety of their cars. Sometimes vowing to themselves to never, ever take their kids out in public again. Then they get up and do it again the next day. They have to.

These parents have balls that I never did.

I want you to know that I see you, and that I am watching and cheering. While I'm hissing at my teens to move, or put down that banana, I am admiring. I am wishing I'd had your balls.

While I'm sitting kid-less at IHOP because my teens were too busy for a meal with Mom, I'll be watching wistfully while your beautiful boy screams bloody murder as he hurls his pancakes at the wall.

I'll be sitting there, wishing I'd grown a pair.

Please. Let's judge less and celebrate childhood just a little bit more. It leaves us far too quickly.

This Lebanese Bride's Custom Wedding Dress Was So Magical, It Got Its Own Hashtag

Dana Wolley is a fashion influencer located in the Middle East, and she's got quite the eclectic taste. You can imagine, then, that her wedding dress was not typical. In fact, Dana didn't just have one gown, but three special pieces that she wore for various ceremonies when she married Samer Zayat. The couple's nuptials took place this past Summer, but Dana just 'grammed a throwback photo that reminded us how magical her Esposa Prive silhouette was. It wasn't white, but a champagne shade that was covered in ornate beading and complemented by Mouawad jewels.

Dana danced the night away in Nicholas Kirkwood platforms that she called "the most comfortable bridal shoe ever." Needless to say, we'd sacrifice a little comfort for a heel complete with a genuine hand-picked pearl too. As unique as all the little details might be, we were struck most by the process of designing a dress from start to finish, which Dana documented on Instagram. Read on to see how she finally arrived at her majestic look, and check out the other outfits she slipped into before the reception even began.
