15 Pitcher-Perfect Cocktails For Breezy Bartending Duty

Cocktails taste better when they're enjoyed with good company, but rather than craft a bunch of different beverages (I mean, who really wants to be stuck with bartending duty all party long?), make pitcher drinks like sangria, margaritas, and punch. All you have to do is make a large batch, and everyone gets a glass on demand. Hooray! Here are a few of our favorites, just in time for that pool party, BBQ, or whatever else you have planned for the holiday weekend.

Just Try Not to Fall in Love With This Rescue Pup Dressed as a Friar

We - as well as the rest of the internet - are head over heels in love with Carmelo the Schnauzer. This pup was taken in by friars at the Franciscan monastery of Cochabamba, Bolivia. The friars provided Carmelo with his very own habit and bestowed upon him the name Fray Bigotón. Carmelo now spends his days doing God's work, aka melting hearts by just generally being sweet and adorable.

"Here all of the brothers love him very much. He is a creature of God," Friar Jorge Fernandez told The Dodo. We can totally see why everyone loves him - and you will too when you scroll through and check out all the sweet pictures of him in his habit.

Michelle Obama Masters Post-FLOTUS Style With an It Bag at Her Side

We can't be sure if Michelle Obama's had this outfit in her closet for some time, or if she just went shopping after her vacation with Barack. What we do know is that there's something so laid-back about her brand-new look. The former FLOTUS was spotted leaving Upland restaurant in New York in a tailored gray coat and classic trousers.

Her separates were no doubt sophisticated, but her slouchy striped blouse that she unbuttoned at the top, hoop earrings, and edgy chain-link Alexander Wang bag gave off relaxed vibes. We predicted that Michelle would keep her wardrobe in tip-top shape after leaving the White House, and she didn't disappoint. As it turns out, Michelle has mastered everyday businesswoman style with ease.

Scroll for a look, then shop the must-have bag that added a unique touch to her simple suit.

Barack and Michelle Obama Have a Casual Lunch With Bono in NYC

Barack and Michelle Obama have certainly been making the most of their time since leaving the White House in January. Aside from taking a much-needed vacation, the couple recently enjoyed a nice brunch with U2 frontman and activist Bono in NYC on Friday. While the trio left separately, a source tells People they sat in a private dining room downstairs at Upland in Manhattan. After leaving the eatery, the source said "the whole restaurant stood up and applauded and cheered for them. Barack Obama waved at everyone upon leaving." While Bono bundled up in a black overcoat and pants, the former president and first lady looked sharp in button-down shirts and dark slacks. Looks like the two are taking full advantage of casual Fridays now that they're out of office.

Will Jon and Daenerys Meet in Game of Thrones Season 7?

Winter is here on Game of Thrones, and luckily for us, the show's seventh season is not too far behind. Now that we've officially begun the countdown to the season premiere, we're getting more details than ever. As you might recall, one of the biggest season six finale moments showed Daenerys Targaryen sailing across a sea with the Greyjoys' Iron Fleet at her disposal. As cocreator D.B. Weiss told Entertainment Weekly, Dany's seaward journey is the beginning of the end: "Once she gets on those ships and crosses West, that's when the clock on the end game starts ticking . . . when she gets back to Westeros, it's on. Her return is the first domino."

With the Mother of Dragons prepped to begin her world domination, it's become clear that all of the Seven Kingdoms will soon clash in crazy and exciting ways. All this upheaval means we may be getting one of the most highly anticipated encounters in the entire series: the meeting of Daenerys and Jon Snow. What makes this particular meet-and-greet especially crucial? Well, it depends on how you look at it. Or, more specifically, it depends on which theory you subscribe to.

Not only are the two related to each other, but they're the two most likely candidates for the classic theory about A Song of Ice and Fire. But wait, there's yet another theory that this could support. The fact that Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, and Tyrion Lannister are coming together could confirm the three heads of the dragon theory that has been gaining steam. There's more, too. Consider the fact that Jon Snow is the King of the North. If you think about it, along with the likelihood that Dany could very well defeat Cersei and seize King's Landing, both sides are shaping up to be quote formidable forces in Westeros. This means their encounter could spell out a deadly, undefeatable alliance . . . or one of the most epic and devastating battles in the entire series.

So, how do we know they'll meet? We have a few shreds of evidence, actually. What's most telling is this batch of set pictures, which shows both characters on set together. Yes, it's true that they were just filming separately at the same location, but it looks a lot like they're a part of the same scene. Then there's the first official poster, which teases that ice and fire connection we mentioned above. Finally, we have this quote from Kit Harington:

"I think every actor on it did more action, had more action, had more scenes. They really focused it because less characters are coming in, and they're focusing in on the existing ones, and there are lots of people who cross paths, and that's something that I think the audience has been waiting for for a long time."

OK, it's admittedly pretty vague, but it's worth nothing that Jon and Dany's union is something we've all been "waiting for for a long time." So, there you have it. Obviously, we won't know anything for sure until the season starts, but as it currently stands, we're pretty sure Jon Snow and Dany will meet. And we're even more sure they'll have plenty to talk about when they do.

Who Voiced the Original Belle in Beauty and the Beast?

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is a tale as old as time, and soon it will reach a whole new generation of audiences with its live-action adaptation. While we can't wait to see Dan Stevens in beast form, we are most looking forward to seeing Emma Watson take on the iconic role of Belle. Even though we know she will do the character justice, she certainly has some big shoes to fill. The original character was a huge inspiration for young girls - and continues to be more than 25 years later.

So, who was the original Belle? That would be Paige O'Hara (pictured below). The self-proclaimed Disney enthusiast auditioned for the role when she was 30-years-old. After only the second audition, she just knew it was her part. Not only did she lend her voice for the character, but she also played a part in Belle's physical appearance as the animators mimicked her real-life expressions.

Following the release of the original animated film, O'Hara reprised her role in two direct-to-video follow-ups, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and Belle's Magical World. Even though she has since put her Belle days behind her, she certainly approves of Watson's iteration of the character. POPSUGAR had the chance to talk with O'Hara last year and she has nothing but kind words to say about her successor, adding that she thinks she was the "perfect casting."

Here's Your Spoiler-Filled Reveal of What Happens in Kong: Skull Island

Major spoilers below!

At the end of Peter Jackson's epic 2005 monster adventure film, King Kong, the eponymous ape falls off the Empire State building to his death after losing a battle with some fighter pilots. Jack Black's Carl Denham stands next to his giant corpse on the sidewalk below and morbidly utters, "It wasn't the airplanes. It was Beauty killed the Beast." It's a tragic end for the massive primate who never asks to be dragged to New York City and turned into a freak show, and it's played out similarly ever since his first appearance on the silver screen in 1933. Luckily the Kong in Kong: Skull Island gets a better deal.

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts's version of the tale wisely ditches the "let's bring King Kong to NYC" plot entirely, instead choosing to dig a little deeper into Kong's role on the island. Scientist Bill Randa (John Goodman) is a member of top-secret government organization Project Monarch and decides to round up a crew of people to accompany him on an expedition to the mysterious and uncharted Skull Island in the South Pacific in 1973. He recruits the Sky Devils helicopter squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Preston Packard (Samuel L. Jackson) as well as tracker James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston) and war photographer Mason Weaver (Brie Larson). It doesn't take long for Kong to pop up out of the jungle and start batting helicopters full of soldiers out of the sky, which kills a ton of people immediately, but leaves a core group of survivors left to try and make it across the island in three days time for their scheduled pick-up.

As the group tries desperately to survive, they come across Hank Marlow (John C. Reilly), an American pilot who got stranded on the island 30 years earlier after his WWII plane went down. He survived by ingratiating himself with the island's native people, who worship Kong like a God since he protects them, and the rest of the island, from reptilian monsters ("Skullcrawlers") that live underground. The only thing keeping the Skullcrawlers's leader, "the Big One," from rising and destroying everything is the existence of Kong. Most of the group agrees that Kong, though terrifying, is necessary, and they're the ones infringing on his territory. Despite this, Packard, furious that the colossal ape took the lives of his soldiers and desperate for one final mission to give his life meaning, is dead set on killing Kong.

Packard rigs a trap of explosives to blow Kong up, but Marlow, Weaver, and Conrad race to stop him. Unfortunately the trap injures Kong, and the Alpha Skullcrawler awakens. After Kong kills Packard with a bone-crunching squash of his fist, he defends the rest of the humans and his island from the Alpha Skullcrawler. With a little help from a powerful machine gun, Kong is able to defeat the monster and allows the people left in the expedition to leave his island in peace. Although he doesn't die in Kong: Skull Island, a post-credits scene reveals a sequel is in the works that will see Kong facing off against Godzilla. Will he make it through the end of that movie like he does in 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla? We'll have to wait until 2020 to find out.

The Live-Action Beauty and the Beast Might Be Pretty, but It's Also Pretty Creepy

There's a lot to love about the new, Bill Condon-directed Beauty and the Beast remake: the catchy new musical numbers, Josh Gad's lively (and gay) LeFou, and the gorgeous scenery that seems to stretch on for miles. The latter example is due in a large part to the film's reliance on CGI, which, for the most part, is executed beautifully. The Beast's castle and surrounding gardens loom much more ominously than in the 1991 animated movie, and the "Be Our Guest" musical number is almost overwhelming in its effervescent splendor. But still, something is . . . off.

In one of the film's early scenes, Belle's traveling artist father, Maurice (Kevin Kline), stumbles inside the Beast's castle and is the first to come upon the cursed prince's enchanted servants. He marvels at the exquisite craftsmanship of Lumiere (Ewan McGregor), Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), and Chip (Nathan Mack), and our jaws drop in tandem with his; the objects look so lifelike it's hard to resist reaching toward the screen so you can touch them for yourself. That's where the wonder ends, however - as soon as these characters open their mouths, they transform a quirky, enchanted castle into what would be a decrepit house of horrors if this story were taking place anywhere other than a Disney universe.

Lumiere's limited facial expressions never quite sync with the bouncy, sly energy McGregor's French-accented voice provides, and Cogsworth's countenance is all but hidden behind his intricate, gilded design. Stunning as they might be sitting on a mantel, their bland, frozen faces shroud exceptional voicework, making it that much easier to forget their performances by the time the film's lengthy two hours are up.

Candlesticks and teacups aside, it seems the biggest problem with trading in 2D animation for the real thing falls on the broad, uncomfortably muscular shoulders of the Beast (Dan Stevens). Moments between Belle (Emma Watson) and the Beast that might feel light and innocent in the first film are suddenly cranked into sharper focus, and overall it's a detriment to the love story Disney is trying to tell. How am I supposed to focus on Belle and the Beast's beautiful literary connection if I'm perseverating on the studio's choice to give the Beast a set of sculpted pecs (which CGI whiz had the lucky task of sexualizing a buffalo is something I'd really like to know)? Do I just ignore the hard-to-miss undercurrents of light bestiality? Can I appreciate his evolution as a character if I'm busy wondering if he uses that magic mirror to watch Belle as she changes (yes, that storyline happens in the old movie, but it never seemed nearly as creepy in cartoon form)?

Making these characters appear more "realistic" doesn't just make them more interesting to look at. The artistic choice raises the stakes for all the characters involved, moral or otherwise. When Belle decides to tend to the Beast's wounds instead of seizing her chance to escape, it's tough to continue viewing the movie as a heartwarming romance, rather than a sad tale about kidnapping with a hearty dash of Stockholm syndrome (criticisms in this vein have been around for years, to the point Watson herself felt the need to defend Belle against them). Is it harder to swallow their relationship because I see more of myself in Belle now that she's a flesh and blood human being? Or does the bizarre realism of the Beast's CGI makeover just have me on edge?

The problematic nature of Beauty and the Beast has long been shrugged off by saying, "it's just a fairy tale." It still is just a fairy tale, unless villagers being held captive by giant, man-beast hybrids is a common occurrence in France. But magical and farcical as this movie is (and do not misunderstand me - this movie has no shortage of breathtaking moments), it might be the first (and possibly only) of Disney's list of planned reboots that doesn't benefit from the live-action treatment.

Emma Watson Reflecting on Her Beloved Hermione Will Give You All the Feels

Emma Watson is set to take on the iconic role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast, but there is another magical franchise people just can't stop talking about: Harry Potter. During an interview Entertainment Weekly, the actress talked about the overwhelming emotions she felt watching Noma Dumezweni play her iconic role, Hermione, in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Not only was she relieved to see that her character would be OK in the future, but she said it was such a relief to be able to share her with someone. As for whether she'll ever reprise her role on screen? While Watson doesn't want to get fans' hopes up, she didn't entirely say no either. Check out her full interview below.

The This Is Us Cast Teases That the Finale Will Be "Dangerous," and Now We're Worried

We only have one more week until the season one finale of This Is Us, and it looks like we better start preparing ourselves for the worst. While Justin Hartley recently told POPSUGAR that it is going to be "crushingly painful," he further elaborated that it is going to be a "dangerous episode" during an interview with E! News. "I can tell you hold on tight," he said. "It's intense. It gets heavy. Very heavy. This is a different kind of heavy. It's gripping, but it's kind of a dangerous episode. Dangerous is a good word."

Hartley's TV dad, Milo Ventimiglia, also teased that we will start to see the cracks in Rebecca and Jack's relationship. "We're going into uncharted territory with this once bright-eyed, loving couple that now, 20 years later, are trying to stand on their own individual feet," he said. "We're going down a path and on a road that is going to scare a lot of people with regards to the sanctity of the relationship of Jack and Rebecca." It also doesn't help our sanity that the episode is titled "Moonshadow," possibly relating to the moon-shaped necklace he gave her at the beginning of the series, which she still wears in present day. While Ventimiglia didn't speak on the theories surrounding Jack's death, he did tell POPSUGAR that the finale would offer a little bit of resolution.

As far as the actual plot goes, it seems like it's going to be all about the iconic married couple as Jack heads to Cleveland to make things right with Rebecca on the first night of her tour. "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say, but the episode is really just Milo and I," Mandy Moore told The Wall Street Journal. "There's a scene with everyone else, but it's really the origin story of how Jack and Rebecca met and where their relationship is present day, where we last sort of left them, which is '96." While we're not quite sure how the whole story will unfold, ET Online did release a brief clip of Rebecca calling to the house with no answer.

Guess we should stock up on tissues now before the finale airs on March 14.

12 Fun Ways to Make That Slime You Are Seeing All Over Social Media

If your kid has gotten into slime, chances are you've been buying out the glue section at your local Target in recent weeks. If your kid hasn't gotten into it yet, don't worry - it's coming. The DIY slime craze is sweeping households all over the US because as it turns out, slime is really easy to make.

Here's what you need:

  • Glue (white, clear, glitter, etc.)
  • Food coloring (or acrylic paint)
  • Borax (or baking soda)
  • Water
  • Tupperware (preferably something you don't plan on putting food in ever again)
  • Styrofoam balls (optional, to make "floam")

To make the slime, simply mix half a bottle of glue with a drop or two of food coloring (optional step, but a fun one), then add a fourth cup of water until mixed completely. In a separate cup make your "activator" - a cup of water and a teaspoon of Borax or two cups of water and a fourth cup of baking soda - then add 2 teaspoons of the activator to your slime mix and knead together until it stops being sticky (well, less sticky). If you want to make "floam," you can mix in some styrofoam beads.

And there you have it folks: the latest trend you'll lose your kids - and couch, and carpets, and clothes - to. Scroll through with your little ones for some inspirational videos; if they're going to make this stuff all day, every day from now until the next trend comes along, at least help them make something cool!

Miley Cyrus Will Win You Over With Her Wedding Dress

I don't know when or if Miley Cyrus is getting married. While Billy Ray Cyrus posted a photo that suggests she and Liam Hemsworth tied the knot, it hasn't been confirmed. Maybe Miley isn't even thinking about marriage. But in my imaginary world, she walks down the aisle in a pretty spectacular wedding dress. You see, ever since I was young, I looked at Miley as someone who represented versatility. She played two different characters on Hannah Montana, and my younger sister plastered posters of Miley all over her walls, some in which she was dressed up like Hannah, others in which she was just herself in jeans and a three-quarter-sleeved tee. But even when she was just being Miley, the actress and singer looked unique and a little bit quirky.

She's gone through many stages, but there has never been a time when Miley's paid attention to trends. During her rise to fame, she wore flares and cowboy boots, maybe because they were representative of where she came from: Franklin, TN. Post-breakup with Liam Hemsworth (the two have rekindled their relationship), Miley kind of went HAM with her wardrobe. And I liked it. What she wore, or didn't wear, was all a part of her personal revolution.

Miley's style at this point could basically be described as costume like. She dressed as a twerking teddy bear and supported LGBT rights in rainbows and big, furry coats. Then, at the 2015 Met Gala, the industry's elite gathered on the red carpet, but Miley stood alone in a cutout Alexander Wang gown. It ended up on some "worst dressed" lists, but I think it was my favorite outfit of the night. It didn't seem like Miley was trying to appear sexy or edgy but just to look like herself.

So now, as outsiders speculate on whether Miley and Liam got hitched, I can't help but to imagine her would-be bridal look. I doubt Miley Cyrus's wedding dress will be all white. It might be neon, a mix of colors, or come with an inflatable skirt. Miley might not wear a wedding dress at all, should she get married. Maybe she'll go naked. She did reveal on the Today show that she prefers to stay out of the fashion conversation: "I don't want people to talk about what I'm wearing. That's usually why I don't wear too much," she said.

One thing's for sure: if Miley Cyrus gets married, her look won't include a ballgown so glamorous that everyone focuses on the pretty (or crazy!) details. They won't be talking about The Dress, because god knows it won't be wearing her. It'll be all about Miley. Read on to see why we know Miley will hit it out of the park on her special day.

These Celebrity Courtside Outfits Are What We Call March Madness

There are plenty of stars who sit courtside at a basketball game and really pay attention. They shout when their favorite team scores and yell, "Boo!" when they suffer a penalty. A lot of the time, those stars are wearing jerseys, jeans, and high-top sneakers. That's not to say that the ladies wearing tall, strappy stilettos and skintight minidresses don't appreciate the sport just as much. It's just that, well, they probably appreciate fashion a little bit more. (Beyoncé, Kendall, Rihanna, we're looking at you.)

While we get that dressing up for game night has become routine for many of our favorite celebs - and it's certainly added to the appeal of March Madness - there are times it's hard to believe they knew where they were going when they left the house. Read on to see some of our favorite courtside-style mix-ups, and help us figure out where all the stars were going after the final buzzer sounded. One thing's for sure: these outfits suggest that basketball wasn't the only thing on the evening's agenda.

MAC's Edgy Metallic Lipstick Collection Will Make You Look Like a Sexy Cyborg

MAC Cosmetics captured our quirky, color-loving hearts with its extensive ColourRocker lipstick collection earlier this year. This was a hugely exciting launch because the shades ran the gamut from chartreuse and marigold to vermilion and turquoise. However, with the advent of chrome, metallic, and glitter pouts becoming incredibly trendy, we knew that it wouldn't be long until MAC infused a little more flair into these edgy shades.

As it turns out, we barely had to wait to see those suspicions manifest into reality. From March 23 to May 4, the brand will be selling its all-new Metallic Lips lipstick collection. The 18 shades (which will cost $17 each, the same price as the original lipsticks) will be infused with sparkle and pearl to create a metallic-matte look.

There's a glimmering emerald green and a foiled sapphire for those who want a more modern mouth and more classic colors like pink and red tricked out with shimmer. But if you're looking to get cyborg chic, there are plenty of silver, bronze, platinum, and copper hues to choose from.

Keep reading to see the stunning shades before shopping them on March 23!

Rest Easy, Kong: Skull Island Fans - There's a Lot More King Kong in Your Future

Spoilers for the end of Kong: Skull Island below!

For anyone who saw Kong: Skull Island and couldn't get enough of the entertaining action flick, we have good news. Thanks to the crazy post-credits scene at the conclusion of the film, it seems like there's going to be a lot more King Kong in our future. The only downside? It probably won't hit theaters for a long, long time.

If you stick around after the miles and miles of credits finally finish scrolling, you'll be treated to a scene of Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston's characters - who are among the only people who survive the film and make it off Skull Island - being held in Project Monarch headquarters (a top-secret government organization that was first introduced in 2014's Godzilla, and is to the "MonsterVerse" what S.H.I.E.L.D. is to superheroes). There they're told that Kong is not "the only King" out there, and are then shown a series of slides featuring creatures like Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, and Godzilla.

This scene neatly sets up the Godzilla sequel starring Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kyle Chandler, called Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which won't arrive until 2019. Although it's not clear if Kong will make a physical appearance in the sequel, the creative forces behind the MonsterVerse (Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros.) are already hard at work on an eventual Godzilla vs. Kong film, so we can assume there will be at least some connection between the two super-species in it. So far, the studio is in the process of rounding up a writers room to hash out the story specifics of Godzilla vs. Kong, led by Pirates of the Caribbean co-writer Terry Rossio. Once they figure out details, someone will be chosen to write the script. The tentative release date for that epic showdown is May 29, 2020, so settle in for a wait.

Sorry, You Definitely Won't Be Watching Mr. Robot This Summer

Mr. Robot has been our go-to Summer series for the past couple years, but that's about to change. The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting that the third season will premiere in October, months after it usually begins. That's not all the news: Bobby Cannavale (Vinyl) has joined the cast as a used car salesman. Additionally, BD Wong has been promoted to a series regular, so we'll be seeing much more of hacker Whiterose. "Season three of Mr. Robot will engage viewers in a whole new way, with Sam [Esmail] and team continuing to find ways to surprise, challenge and delight the audience. And adding Bobby Cannavale and BD Wong to our cast makes one of the tightest acting ensembles even stronger," said NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment's chief content officer Jeff Wachtel.

Pentatonix's "Imagine" Cover Has an Incredibly Moving Message

Pentatonix is back with more music, and it's seriously giving us chills. In promotion of their upcoming EP, PTX VOL. IV - Classics, the a cappella group covered "Imagine" by John Lennon. Not only are their voices completely in sync, per usual, but the end of the video has an incredibly moving message. After passing around signs with cultural, ethnic, and religious labels they identify with, they turn them around to reveal the word "human." This may be one of their best covers yet.

How Could Jar Jar Binks and Supreme Leader Snoke Be Connected? Mesa Explain

After the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it seemed the internet at large was buzzing about the two biggest unanswered questions. The first is a classic Star Wars mystery. Much like we didn't know the identity of Luke Skywalker's parents in Star Wars: A New Hope - we didn't find out Darth Vader was his father until the end of The Empire Strikes Back - we similarly wonder about who Rey's parents are ahead of Episode VIII. But there's an even bigger mystery to consider: the newest trilogy of films has introduced a menacing and powerful new villain called Supreme Leader Snoke.

The most perplexing thing about Snoke is that he seems like a new addition to the Star Wars universe, but avid fans of the films know there's nothing like a shocking reveal. This has led to many theories about the villain. Some believe Snoke could be one of "the Last Jedi" mentioned in Episode VIII's official title. Others think a previous character like the presumably dead Mace Windu or the menacing Darth Maul could have gone on to become the big bad. But the most unfortunate addition to the pool has been Jar Jar Binks.

Yes, Jar Jar Binks. The foolish, implicitly racist sidekick in the first trilogy. It all started more than a year ago, when Reddit user Lumparwarroo posted a wild theory about the character that suggested he was a highly skilled Force user and Sith collaborator who had conspired with Emperor Palpatine himself. While this theory concludes that Jar Jar Binks goes on to become Supreme Leader Snoke, a new revelation supports an even crazier hypothesis: that Jar Jar Binks is the Sith master who finds a young boy and molds him into the evil supervillain we meet in The Force Awakens. This would mean that Jar Jar Binks is not Supreme Leader Snoke but is instead even more powerful than him. Are you ready to plunge deeper into the madness?

Beginning in 2015, Star Wars began publishing a new book trilogy called Aftermath. The three books would go over everything that happens between The Return of the Jedi (Episode VI) and The Force Awakens (Episode VII). It's kind like how Rogue One ends up connecting Revenge of the Sith (Episode III) and A New Hope (Episode IV), but I digress. The third installment of the Aftermath trilogy is called Empire's End, and it was just released at the end of February. At the end of this novel, though, we unexpectedly learn the fate of Jar Jar Binks. He's a street clown who performs for little children, banished by the Gungan race.

In this part, a young boy approaches Jar Jar Binks and asks why no one calls him by name and why no one will talk to him. "Mesa Jar Jar," he says, then, "Jar Jar makin some uh-oh mistakens. Big mistakens. Der Gunga bosses banished me longo ago. Mesa no been to home in for-ebbers." Here's the interesting part: the book describes this young boy as a "disfigured orphan" whose "scar tissue runs up from his jaw, over the hole that used to be his ear, and to the scalp." Fans of The Force Awakens will remember how deformed Snoke appears, with a messed-up ear and a deep forehead scar to boot. Jar Jar then offers to "teach" the young boy: "My teachin yousa, pallo. Wesa maken the whole galaxy smilin, huh?"

Of course, it's possible Jar Jar was only ever a fool and is merely taking a young orphan under his wing. For all we know, the fallen character will just teach his young companion how to do simple circus tricks. However, if you believe the Reddit theory that Jar Jar Binks truly is a Force master and Sith collaborator, it casts a whole new light on this scene. Maybe the Gungans banished him because he was a Sith collaborator. Maybe he's lying low until he sees an opportunity to strike again. And maybe this young, deformed orphan boy has a dark power within that will eventually turn him into Supreme Leader Snoke. Could it be? Could Jar Jar return to the franchise in The Last Jedi? The answer is not a resounding no.

Beauty and the Beast: Every Song From the Extraordinary Soundtrack

If you had any trepidations about Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast, you can rest assured that it's soundtrack is simply magical. Honestly, with music written by Alan Menken (the Disney mastermind behind the original movie) and Tim Rice, we already knew it would be incredible, but this is something else. Not only do Ariana Grande and John Legend lend their voices for the title track, but Celine Dion is also back with another ballad, "How Does a Moment Last Forever," after contributing to the 1991 animated film's soundtrack. Let's just say, it's guaranteed to make you sob buckets. Listen to all the tracks here before the film hits theaters on March 17.

Why Hundreds of People Gathered to Hear Only 1 Name Called at Graduation

When Cameron Brown's dad was invited to attend a "graduation practice," he had no idea that he was about to experience the surprise of a lifetime. The West Stanly High School graduating class of 2017 dressed in their cap and gowns to have only Cameron's name announced. The 18-year-old high school senior's father, Brian, was diagnosed with nonalcoholic cirrhosis of the liver in 2011 and a few years later was paralyzed in a horrible accident.

Kim Page, the school's principal, told ABC News that they feared Brian would not live to see his son graduate, so they decided to put together a ceremony and surprise the family with this special moment. "My secretary said, 'We've got the caps and gowns, let's do something for him,'" Page said. "Within less than 24 hours, we put together the program."

Hundreds of people filled the school auditorium on Feb. 27 so Brian could see Cameron graduate, and it sounds like an unforgettable event. "Over the years me and my dad have grown to be very, very close - pretty much best friends," Cameron said. "I look at him as my Superman, so seeing him there to see me graduate meant everything for me. He really tried to make sure that I know that he's proud of me because that's something I've always worked for." Cameron will graduate (again) with his peers in June.

Instead of the usual graduation speeches, the faculty honored the Brown family and had Cameron talk about his favorite memories of high school on the podium, but for the quarterback of the football team, his memory involved his parents. "It was just going through my head that throughout high school my favorite memory was hearing my parents tell me they're proud of me," he said. "That's what I work for every day."

After watching the graduation ceremony with so much pride, Brian Brown passed away on Wednesday, March 8.

How 1 Mom Says She Kept Her Baby Alive After Her Water Broke at 22 Weeks

When Louise Adams's water broke at 22 weeks, she and her husband were told that their baby only had a five percent chance of survival.

Those odds weren't acceptable to this family from England, so they began researching what options they had to keep their unborn baby alive. They came across success stories from other countries where moms were able to keep their babies healthy in the womb by drinking extra gallons of water each day.

"The more the mother drinks the more the baby drinks and urinates," Louise told The Daily Mail. "As excretion of urine by the unborn baby is the major source of amniotic fluid production in the second half of pregnancy, it made sense that increasing my fluid intake could make a difference."

Doctors originally told the parents that because Louise's water broke before the 24-week mark, there wasn't much they could do to save the baby. "All they could do is monitor me in hospital waiting for the inevitable miscarriage, which they said would happen in days," she said. "But I could feel Joseph kicking. I couldn't just sit around doing nothing to save him."

After she was released from the hospital six days later, Louise began drinking more than three gallons of water a day in an attempt to constantly replenish his lost amniotic fluid. She kept this up for 13 weeks and her growing baby continued to beat the odds.

"I shut myself off from the world. It wasn't easy but I drank around seven pints a day. I also consumed cranberry juice and raw cloves of garlic after reading they could ward off infection, common when the waters break early," she said. "Doctors and midwives were skeptical and gave me no hope. They told me there was little research and it was unlikely to make any difference. But I had nothing to lose."

However, Louise made it to eight months before giving birth to Joseph via C-section and the healthy baby weighed five pounds, 10 ounces. "Getting past 24 weeks was the first hurdle as I knew at that point he at least had some chance of survival if born then. Doctors finally gave me steroids to mature Joseph's lungs and antibiotics to prevent infection," she said. "When we heard him crying his eyes out, we were overjoyed. He was absolutely perfect and did so well, he came home after just a week."

The Harmful Effects of Instant Ramen Noodles

Yes, you know that instant ramen isn't good for you, but studies have confirmed just how harmful the prepackaged food can really be. A study in the Journal of Nutrition links instant noodle consumption with heart risk, particularly in women. The researchers conducted a study in South Korea, where consumption of instant noodles is the highest in the world, with more than 10,700 people ranging in age from 19 to 64. The results? "Women who consume instant noodles frequently were found to be more likely to have metabolic syndrome - the group of risk factors, including obesity and high blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar, that increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes."

The harmful effects were predominantly found in women and not men. Part of the study reads, "Women - though not men - who ate instant noodles at least twice a week showed a 68 percent higher risk of metabolic syndrome," which is a syndrome that can increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

The high sodium content in instant noodle products is obvious, but the main culprit is the noodles themselves. In another study by Dr. Braden Kuo, director of the gastrointestinal motility laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard University, the doctor found unsettling results after testing digestion of the noodles. He used a tiny camera to study the breakdown of instant ramen noodles in the stomach and found out just how difficult it is for your body to digest the preservative-filled noodles. Warning: the photos are graphic. A preservative called TBHQ, which is found in many processed foods including Reese's and Chicken McNuggets, extends shelf life of fatty foods and makes them harder to digest. It's one of the many ingredients in Maruchan Chicken Ramen.

If you're hopelessly devoted to instant ramen (and it's a budget-friendly staple in your life), all hope is not lost. Dr. Frank B. Hu, a professor of nutrition and epidemiology at Harvard, told The New York Times, "Once or twice a month is not a problem, but a few times a week really is."

Moral of the story: eating college-friendly instant ramen is OK, but moderation is key.

This Is Why Emma Watson Turned Down La La Land

If you've seen La La Land, chances are good that you don't even want to imagine anyone but Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the lead roles - but they weren't originally supposed to play those parts. Emma Watson and Miles Teller were up for the leads, and Watson has finally told her side of the story. But let's start from the beginning!

In August of 2015, Miles Teller told Esquire that director Damien Chazelle originally offered him the lead in La La Land while they were working on Whiplash. He almost passed on War Dogs because of his commitment, then he got some unexpected news. "I got a call from my agent, saying, 'Hey, I just got a call from Lionsgate. Damien told them that he no longer thinks you're creatively right for the project. He's moving on without you.'"

This went under the radar for a bit, until Uproxx asked Chazelle about it during the Toronto Film Festival last year. While Chazelle didn't want to comment on Teller's claim about how he was booted from the film, he did confirm that Teller was attached at one point. "The casting of this movie during the six years it took to get made went through lots of permutations," he said. "It's true there was a moment where Emma Watson and Miles Teller were doing it. And neither of those casting things wound up lasting or working out."

The Hollywood Reporter contends that Teller didn't end up doing the movie because of a salary dispute. Teller wanted more than the $4 million that was offered, and by the time he would have needed to start learning to play the piano for the role, they hadn't come to a compromise and he needed to shoot Allegiant.

On Jan. 28, Page Six published another story about both Emma Watson and Miles Teller's allegedly outlandish behind-the-scenes demands. Teller reportedly wanted an extra $2 million, and Watson reportedly requested that all rehearsals be in London. Shortly thereafter, Teller tweeted about the reports, simply stating that Page Six and NY Post were "'reporting' alternative facts."

In March, Watson finally spoke about the situation on Entertainment Weekly's podcast. As previously reported, her decision had nothing to do with money; she was just incredibly busy with Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast movie instead. Here's the full clip:

Tarte's Quench Lip Rescues Are the Perfect Pout Product For Mermaid-Lovers

We'll admit it: too often, we'll buy a beauty product simply for its pretty packaging. Occasionally, though, this can backfire. Not all gorgeous compacts, tubes, or jars have quality formulas inside. However, as fans of both mermaid-inspired prints and nourishing lip treatments, we were immensely satisfied by Tarte's Quench Lip Rescues - and the brand just launched four new amazing shades.

In case you haven't tried this product before, each hue has a different, darling tube with different aquatic themes such as seahorses, starfish, and coral (which makes them both collectible and easy to find in an overstuffed makeup bag). Inside each is a superhydrating lip balm that leaves your pout with a subtle tint, glossy sheen, and refreshed sensation.

For Summer 2017, Tarte has expanded its color offerings to include coral, warm buff, clear, and (our favorite) a punchy cherry red that would look fantastic when donned poolside. See them for yourself - as well as the original four hues! - and shop them when you read on.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Pulls a Total Mom Move at Her Son's Basketball Game

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is such a proud mom. During the NCAA tournament on Thursday, the actress couldn't help but film her son, 19-year-old Northwestern University basketball player Charlie Hall, as he played against Rutgers University. Not only did she whip out her phone like Mrs. George in Mean Girls, but she also got adorably nervous as he dribbled the ball and caught a rebound. In the words of the announcers, "Julia gets to be a mom." And in case you're wondering about her athletic son, it turns out he's just as funny as his famous mom. He hilariously interviewed a few of his teammates for the university's YouTube page.

Tom Hiddleston Has Never Looked Better Than He Does in Kong

The reviews for Kong: Skull Island are in, and so far they're glowing. The movie is being praised for its action-packed plot, the crazy post-credits scene, and King Kong in all of his massive, CGI glory, but there's one thing I have yet to see get the attention it deserves: Tom Hiddleston's t-shirt.

As tracker James Conrad, he spends much of the movie kneeling down to examine broken underbrush, eluding King Kong, and rolling through the dirt to escape giant, underground lizard monsters who want to rip him limb from limb. In other words, a typical day at the office. But his greatest asset is not his gun. It's not even the Samurai sword he uses to slice his way through a flock of razor-beaked birds. It's his plain, gloriously tight, gray-blue t-shirt. To put it simply, he looks good as hell. Possibly better than he does in a suit, which is really saying something.

I don't know how it magically stays perfectly tucked in, or what exactly it is about it that has inspired this obsession, but as a reward for you taking the time to read about this important, high-priority matter, please enjoy the next 17 photos of him and his t-shirt in action.

The Real Serial Killers Who May Have Inspired a Disturbing New Film

If the trailer for Hounds of Love is any indication, the new serial killer thriller is hard to watch. Set in the mid-1980s, the story follows a young girl in Australia who finds herself kidnapped by an unhinged and crumbling couple. Clocking in at under two minutes, the trailer's bubbling emotions, screams, and the visibly battered woman in it are enough to make your skin crawl. A quote from Variety's review says "brave audiences will be rewarded." On top of all this, there's something else about the film that makes it all the more chilling to consider: it's inspired by real events.

Director Ben Young hasn't been shy about the real-life source material that folded into his creative process. The filmmaker previously revealed that he read a true crime novel about female serial killers, and it led him to Hounds of Love. "It triggered a strong memory of fear from my childhood that was instilled by my parents as a result of crimes committed by a serial killer couple." This quote alone is enough to reveal where the idea for a murderous couple came from, but it also gives us a hint as to which real murder spree served as the inspiration. After all, Young hails from Australia, and there's one infamous serial killing couple that ranks as one of the most high-profile cases in the country's history. Their names were David and Catherine Birnie, and they murdered four girls in 1986.

Did the Birnies directly inspire Hounds of Love? The answer is complicated. All signs point to yes, but the creative team behind the film has been discouraging any comparison. The strange confusion started when the film was in production. Casting coordinator Maya Kavanagh posted a call for extras to act in a film set "in the summer of 1986." In real life, the Birnies kidnapped their last victim in November 1986, so it's hard to ignore the parallel. Here's where it gets weird: after this casting call inspired speculation about the Birnies, producer Melissa Kelly said Kavanagh got it wrong, and that "this film is not based on the Birnies. The story is inspired by a number of true crimes that happened in Australia and overseas, however, it is a work of fiction."

To add to the confusion, local talent manager Jacqueline Alliss reportedly said her client was in a film "about the Birnies" but later retracted her comment and said she was "incorrect." Whether or not the film will follow the true story remains a mystery, but the original crime itself is disturbing enough to bear recounting.

Recently, Australia's Channel Seven reported the facts of the crime during a show called Murder Uncovered. The couple reportedly stabbed, strangled, and beat four women to death in their house in Perth's suburbs before they got caught. The first victim was 22-year-old Mary Neilson, who was kidnapped on Oct. 6, 1986. David Birnie reportedly raped her repeatedly while Catherine Birnie watched. They eventually stabbed her in the heart and dumped her body in Gleneagles National Park. The couple followed the same modus operandi for the subsequent murders of 15-year-old Susannah Candy, 31-year-old Noelene Peterson, and 21-year-old Denise Brown.

Kate Moir, their last victim, was held at knifepoint and abducted on Nov. 9, 1986. She escaped less than 24 hours later. She was just 17 years old.

In February, Moir talked about the whole ordeal with Marie Claire Australia. After kidnapping her, the couple reportedly held a knife to her throat, bound her hands and legs, and threw a blanket over her. The next day, she escaped out the window while David Birnie was at work. She was interviewed by recent police academy graduate Laura Hancock, who was the only officer who believed her at first. It wasn't until Moir provided specific details, revealed she had left personal clues at the crime scene, and uttered the name "Birnie" that the police took her seriously. The couple was taken into custody shortly thereafter. They were sentenced to life in prison. David took his own life in 2005, but Catherine remains behind bars to this day.

If you want to learn more about the heinous crimes of the Birnie couple, check out the video below. Hounds of Love hits theaters on May 12.
