Not only did Cindy gush about how excited she was for George to become a father, but she admitted that she noticed the chemistry between him and Amal right away, adding, "It was like all of a sudden he might get married and he might have a family."
Cindy and Rande were also part of the small group of friends who attended George and Amal's Venice, Italy, wedding in September 2014. So, do they have any advice for the couple? "George has always been so great with our kids that he doesn't need advice," Rande told People. "He is going to be an amazing dad; Amal is going to be an incredible mother."

17 Exciting Details We Have About Game of Thrones Season 7
Season six of Game of Thrones came to a bloody end last year, and we're still having some serious withdrawal issues. If you're in the same boat, let's all remember that the end of one season just means the beginning of speculation about another! A lot have been revealed over the past few weeks, so we have a lot to talk about. Here's what we know about what's coming up from the show, the premiere date, some telling set pictures, and quotes from the cast!
How the Original Belle Inspired One of Emma Watson's Best Lines in Beauty and the Beast
In 1991, Disney cast Broadway star Paige O'Hara as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Between her soaring vocals and the way she brings the spirited, 2D Belle to life, it could not have been a better choice. Emma Watson steps into O'Hara's shoes in 2017's live-action reboot of the classic fairy tale, and although there's a lot about the film that differs from the original, they found the perfect way for Watson to honor O'Hara in the movie's final few minutes.
As the Beast, who has once again regained his human form, whirls Belle around a crowded ballroom of villagers, Belle can't get over how different he looks without his fur. She makes a joke about wanting him to get a beard, they share a kiss, and live hairily happily ever after. It turns out Belle's joke, seemingly a throwaway line, was actually one O'Hara ad-libbed while making the film in 1991. "I love [animator] Glen Keane's Beast, that's why I ad-libbed 'Do you think you can grow a beard?'" O'Hara revealed to Insider. "It almost made it in the movie. But Glen's very proud of his prince and I understand why. He really is the most beautiful, I think, of all the Disney princes in history."
If the movie ever gets remade, may we suggest giving the prince a little scruff next time around?
Jennifer Garner Chokes Back Tears While Testifying About Child Poverty in Washington
You might be used to seeing Jennifer Garner on the big screen, but the Miracles From Heaven actress is no stranger to the courtroom. Four years after testifying at a California State Assembly Committee over paparazzi regulations in 2013, Jen traveled to Washington DC to deliver an emotional plea at the House Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Subcommittee's hearing. Speaking on behalf of the Save the Children charity, of which she's an ambassador, she called for more funding to help children living in poverty all over the US.
"Mothers come up to me and say, 'Can you help get my child into these programs? Can you just nudge us up in the wait list? Is there anything you could do?'" she said. "The thought that I would have to go back to these mothers and say, 'Well, no, there is nothing I can do . . .' These families know what it is to have this intervention and they know what they're losing when it's gone and I'll have to answer to it, so that is what matters to me, selfishly, sir."
The 44-year-old, who is in the midst of a divorce with estranged husband Ben Affleck, testified for 25 more minutes about the heartbreaking things she's seen while working with Save the Children. "These children don't vote, they don't make political contributions, neither do their parents," she continued. "Somebody has to tell their story above all the noise. Poverty is silent, but I can't be." Watch her full address above starting at the 1:34:00 mark.

Couple Carrying Terminal Baby to Donate Organs Doesn't Want You to Be Sad
In a late-night post to Facebook on Feb. 17, Royce Young shared an emotional tribute to his wife, Keri, who is pregnant with a little girl who isn't expected to live longer than 36 hours after birth. Eva was diagnosed with anencephaly when Keri was 19 weeks pregnant, meaning that she would be born with parts of her brain missing, but Keri decided she wants to carry Eva to term so that the couple can spend precious minutes with her, then donate her organs. Although this news is tragic, Keri doesn't want anyone to be sad for them - yet.
"She's healthy right now, and I love feeling her kick, and that was surprising," Keri told Good Morning America. "She's as perfect as she's going to be right now. So I don't want to give that up. Now is not the time to be sad. I keep telling people we have a whole lifetime to be sad. But now, she's alive and she's kicked and for this pregnancy, that's the most joyful part."
Keri and Royce have been keeping followers informed on Eva's journey along the way. In the first week of March, Keri posted to Facebook to let everyone know that her fluid is stable and her belly is growing and that Eva is growing as well. "Our hope is it continues to stay that way," she wrote. "It's the little victories!"
Although the couple admits in their video interview that terminating the pregnancy was an option they thought about, ultimately, they feel the regret of not helping other children who could use Eva's organs would be too great. Because Eva means "giver of life," naming their girl was the easy part. Her organs have the potential to help dozens of others hoping for a miracle, to which Royce says, "Eva can be that miracle and do more in her 24 hours than maybe we'll ever do in our lives."
Gigi Hadid's Pants Have a Sexy Detail You Can Only See When She Turns to the Side
Our first thought when we saw Gigi Hadid walking down the streets of NYC was, "Gigi, aren't you cold??" Instead of covering up with a coat, the model wore a white Stephanie Rad turtleneck, pants, and knee-high python boots. The Winter white ensemble was on cue for the season and we were so distracted by the overall look, we almost missed the coolest part about her pants. Gigi's trousers had thigh-high slits! You can only see this sexy detail when she walked or turned to the side and the design gave her pants a unique look.
The star didn't seem to mind her pant legs flapping in the wind as it showed off her legs and shoes. She topped off her model-off-duty look with a pair of sunglasses and mini white backpack. Scroll on to see Gigi's monochromatic outfit from all angles - pay special attention to those pants - and then shop similar selections.
Found: The Highlighter That Will Make You Glow Like Jennifer Lopez
If there's one celebrity who's inspired us to take our highlighting game to new heights, it's Jennifer Lopez. Her cheekbones are always glimmering to perfection - almost as if there's someone carrying around a spotlight and shining it on her at all times. (We'd pay to have that job!) Thankfully, her go-to makeup artist, Mary Phillips, divulged her top illuminator choice for her client.
According to Lipstick.com, Phillips dabs L'Oréal True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator ($13) on J Lo, only using powder on areas of her skin that tend to get a little shiny. That's right: the ultimate red carpet glow is available at your local drugstore . . . we're wowed, too. But the reason the singer always looks extradewy is because of a clever beauty trick Phillips uses as her last step.
"I put a cream moisturizer on a blush brush and 'wand' it over skin after I've applied powder," she divulged. "It helps the makeup sink into skin so it looks like skin - instead of sitting on top of the face and looking like makeup." Pure genius - we're definitely testing out this trick on date night. Read on to shop Jennifer's products!
The Scary Reason Women Are Suffering Strokes After Visiting the Salon
When we visit the salon for a blowout, the best and worst part of the experience is the shampoo. There's nothing quite as luxurious as getting your hair washed . . . but that bizarre sink often leaves us with a sore neck for a few days. Scarily enough, that isn't the worst side effect of the beauty parlor sink: it can cause strokes.
After getting a treatment at Blowbunny Salon in San Diego, local resident Elizabeth Smith experienced a massive stroke just a few days later. "I vomited, my head became hot and I couldn't stand. I had weakness in my arms and legs. They didn't think I was going to live," Smith told ABC-KGTV. She is now suing the salon for failing to adequately support her head during the shampoo.
Experts say this is a very real affliction known as beauty parlor stroke syndrome. According to BuzzFeed, hyperextension of the neck can cause arteries to get cut or torn.
"When one of those cervical arteries is damaged in some sort of way, you can get what's called a dissection, which is damage of the inside of the blood vessel, leading to abnormal flow and clotting, and then those clots can shoot north into the brain and cause a stroke," Steven R. Zeiler, MD, PhD, head of stroke research at Johns Hopkins, told the site.
The scariest part about this is that because beauty parlor stroke syndrome is so rare, doctors still aren't quite sure what causes it, including a particularly rough stylist or a bent neck during a wash. Zeiler believes that "driving a car" is probably more dangerous than visiting your salon, but there is still risk involved!
To help prevent beauty parlor stroke syndrome, look for a salon with sinks that provide effective neck support, or ask your stylist to pad the area with towels. You might get a little wet during your shampoo, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Are Feuding With Each Other Through Ellen DeGeneres
Just three days after Dax Shepard stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the current battle he's having with his wife, Kristen Bell, the actress decided to make an appearance of her own to set the record straight. After Dax explained to the host on Tuesday that the two are in a heated argument over the placement of his beloved La-Z-Boy chair in their living room, Kristen shut him down when she tried to get Ellen to see it from her side on Friday. "I sit right behind him and I feel like I'm in an actual movie theater in my living room," she said. "I feel like I have to shimmy next to him like, 'Excuse me, sorry, I just have to go to the bathroom.'" She also touched on her recent interview with Dateline's Keith Morrison and the massive crush she has on him. Watch Kristen in all her cute glory above.
This BBC Interview Parody Shows What a Mom Would Do - and It's Perfection
After a clip of Robert Kelly's two kids crashing his live BBC interview went viral, they've quickly become the internet's favorite family. Although some still aren't over both his and his wife's epic reactions to their daughter, Marion, strutting in - followed by her bouncing baby brother - others can't help but wonder what would've happened if the roles were reversed and it was a mom being interviewed.
As many work-from-home moms know, something like this isn't necessarily a rarity. Kids can pop in at the worst possible times, and it seems like someone always needs something, especially when you're close by. In honor of all of the hardworking mamas who defuse bombs in their own lives daily, all while keeping everyone else's life together, one mom imagined how things would've gone down if it was a woman sitting in that home-office chair.

Prince William Returns From Controversial Ski Trip to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
After spending a few days letting loose with friends on a ski trip in the Swiss Alps, Prince William returned to London to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Kate Middleton. The royal pair was on hand to present Irish Guardsmen with shamrocks during the annual Irish Guards St. Patrick's Day Parade on Friday. Kate, dressed in a gorgeous green coat similar to ones she's worn in the past, even had the distinction of presenting a shamrock to The Regimental mascot, a massive Irish Wolfhound (we have a feeling Prince George and Princess Charlotte would've loved him).
The royal family always makes sure to do it big for St. Patrick's day. In 2012, Kate made her first official royal St. Patrick's Day appearance, and in 2015 she and Will were in great spirits during the annual parade at Mons Barracks. Just last year, Prince William looked incredibly handsome while commemorating the holiday solo. Once they're done celebrating the holiday this year, Will and Kate have a trip to Paris on the calendar, which is only one of many exciting things the royal family has in store for 2017.

You Have to See How Birth Control Made This Woman's Acne Disappear
When we hear about a "magical cure" to any beauty ailment, be it wrinkles, enlarged pores, or breakouts, we only have one question: where are the before-and-after photos? Imgur user seventytimes generously shared selfies of her journey through acne treatment with the internet, and the simple treatment she used shocked us: it was your run-of-the-mill birth control pill.
Seventytimes bravely revealed many photos of herself bare-faced, showing off her cystic acne. She explained that much of it was caused by ceasing her use of Prednisone, a powerful corticosteroid that treats everything from lupus and asthma to Crohn's disease. One of the unfortunate side effects of withdrawal is blemishes. "My dermatologist was convinced I'd have to go on Accutane," she said.
For those of you unfamiliar with Accutane, it is the strongest acne medication on the market. Many have seen incredible results from taking this treatment, but it is not without risks. Not only is it severely drying to the skin, but Accutane can cause terrible birth defects, and you must commit to using two forms of contraceptives while taking it. Many women elect to use birth control pills during this time, including Imgur user seventytimes.
"I started the pill a month in advance," she remarked. "Five months later, my skin has never looked better. No Accutane necessary."
According to NYC dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz, host of DermTV.com and creator of BeautyRx by Dr. Schultz, oral contraceptives decrease your skin's oil production. This is one of the primary causes of acne. While this treatment isn't for everyone, it could certainly be a good option to try before Accutane, which is seen as a "last resort" by many dermatologists due to the severity of its side effects.
Just like Accutane, birth control pills can also have disadvantages, including weight gain, migraines, mood changes, and melasma. No acne treatment is one size fits all, so be sure to ask your doctor what's right for you before starting any new medications.
In addition to taking birth control pills, seventytimes also swore by a few changes to her beauty regimen. She now always washes her face before bed, preferring to cleanse in the shower (she declares her face, neck, and chest get cleaner this way). Once weekly, she uses face masks and switches her pillowcase to a clean, fresh one. She also got all new makeup brushes and cosmetics and uses a special towel exclusively on her face.
These are all excellent variations to her routine. Many people fail to realize how dirty their pillowcase can get - it's not just old makeup remnants and face grease that are soaking into the fabric, but oil from your scalp, hair products, and other blemish-causing bacteria. By purging her beauty stash and starting fresh, she can ensure that all her products are hygienic, too. See more of seventytimes's amazing pictures when you read on.

Guys, we need to have a talk about magnetic lash extensions. And by "a talk," I mean that I need to tell you how they're a f*cking godsend. I use them most times I wear makeup; basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies. I keep a pack of the lashes at my desk at work, I care for mine religiously at home, and I estimate that I've convinced at least 15 friends to buy their own pair. Considering the fact that many salons charge between $100 and $200 for lash extension treatments that only last a month, I feel obligated to share my experience with these reusable, easy-to-wear lash boosters. I've become something of a magnetic lash disciple.
Basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies.
When the producer of my weekly POPSUGAR Snapchat series, First Impression Friday, told me that I'd be trying magnetic eyelash extensions, I was nervous; I'd never even heard of magnetic lashes, let alone whether they were safe to use! But to make a long story short, the magnetic lash extensions from One Two Cosmetics ended up being my favorite product ever tested on First Impression Friday in over a year of shooting the Snap series - and I refused to part with them after we wrapped. I brought home the package of magnetic lashes and proceeded to wear them every single day for two weeks.
Like any self-respecting millennial, I took to social media to spread the word about the magnetic lashes, posting a blurb about them on my Instagram story. I received TONS of questions from friends and followers about the lashes, so I figured this review might be a good place to answer them! Read on for images of the lashes in action and answers to all the questions I've been asked since I began wearing the magnetic lash extensions.

Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Beauty Oils
The beauty market is flooded with all manner of miracle oils, some of which we can't even pronounce (kukui what?). But any experienced skin care mixtress knows the importance of having pure oils in your bathroom or kitchen cabinet. There's a reason these thicker liquids have been used since ancient times from head to toe. Since navigating the natural food aisle in your local health shop can be confusing, we've created this handy guide, below. In it, you'll learn the benefits of each oil as well as how to mix them properly for your next DIY beauty recipes.
First, base or carrier oils should make up the majority of your recipe because they have intensive hydrating properties. Then top that off with a treatment oil that targets specific ailments (like dry skin and swelling). Finally add the kicker - a few drops of an essential oil that's high in fragrance and potent in beauty benefits. If you're mixing these recipes at home, always make sure to do a test patch first to avoid any adverse reactions. In one quick trip to the health-food store, you could be well on your way to smoother skin and shinier hair. At the very least, you'll know which claims to believe when walking down the beauty aisle.

Mom's Important Warning After a Vacuum Gave Her Toddler Fourth Degree Burns
Although vacuum cleaners are common household appliances, one mom wants parents to realize just how dangerous they can be for little kids.
Jade Bishop warned others on Facebook after her 16-month-old son was left with fourth degree burns. Along with upsetting photos of the toddler's blistering hand, the mom from England explained how being an inquisitive toddler, her little one loves to follow her around when she's vacuuming the house.
"No big deal, he even pushes it and helps me occasionally, so I turn the vacuum off and turn my back to unplug it from the wall, I hear Theo turn it back on, and turn my head to hear him screaming," she wrote. "I yank the plug from the wall and he has managed to put his thumb in the bottom of the Dyson where the bristles spin at a crazy speed. I go to him quicker than I ever have to see he's got a nasty looking burn on his hand!"
After Theo was sent to the hospital to see burn specialists and plastic surgeons, his mom learned that his injury is worse than she initially realized. Not only does he have a severe burn, but possibly exposed tendons, which means he may need skin grafts as well as surgery to help prevent restricted movement as he grows.
"Please, please, please do not let your children near the vacuum cleaners! After talking with my nurse and her telling me just how common this kind of burn is, it makes you realize that: A) I'm not the world's worst mom . . . B) We are not the first and we won't be the last!" she wrote. "But making people aware of it could stop just one more tiny finger or thumb from ending up like this."

7 Easy Ways to Add a Touch of Your Latin Culture to Your Wedding
Chances are you'll have tons of American traditions at your wedding, whether it's the cuisine or the Electric Slide. But if you are looking to add some of your Latin roots to your big day and struggling to find the right balance, we've got your back. No matter what your background is, there are tons of ways to proudly add some Latin flair to the wedding without totally changing the ceremony and reception. We asked Xochitl Gonzalez, creative director of Brooklyn, NY, wedding planning group AAB Creates - which specializes in including your heritage in your big day - for some fun and easy ideas.
1. The ceremony:
"Even if you're not having a Catholic or religious ceremony, the lasso and arras rosary tradition is beautiful," Gonzalez says. In this traditional custom, you and your partner are wrapped in a beaded necklace (floral options are also common in tropical settings) to symbolize lifetime unity. "You can even make the speech more contemporary and feminist - there's plenty of inspiration online."
If you're looking for something a little more unique, "there's also the mantilla ceremony, which is typical at Cuban weddings but can work for any background." "It requires two women to drape the couple with a lace or silk scarf to symbolize their unity. That can be a wonderful way to include special relatives or friends who aren't necessarily in your wedding party," she adds.
2. The music - before the reception:
"In Mexican culture, nothing is more traditional than having a mariachi band serenade you as you get ready before the ceremony," Gonzalez says. But if you want a calmer prewedding time, "you can also have them sing to you right before or after you walk down the aisle."
3. The music - at the reception:
"You might not want a Latin band playing the whole night long, but pairing a conga or timbales player with your DJ is a fun and unique add-on for some flavor," Gonzalez says. You can also have a full hour of the reception dedicated to Latin music, referred to in some countries as "la hora loca," where your DJ plays from a selection of your favorite salsa, merengue, and bachata tunes. "When it comes time to dance with dad, consider a classic bolero, too. Super sweet and traditional!" Gonzalez adds.
4. The food:
This is the most obvious way to add a bit of your roots to the wedding. "The sky's the limit here, but cocktail hour is a great time to sneak in some Latin eats, just in case you want to stay more traditional at dinnertime. Think finger foods like empanadas, mini tortas, or Cubano sandwiches."
5. The drinks:
A great way to pay homage to your Latina roots is by having a signature cocktail. There are the classics, which everyone likes, like Cuba Libres (rum and Coke), but you can also serve mojitos, palomas, pisco sours, or even coquitos if you feel like it. Another idea? "See if there's a nonalcoholic drink regional to the area your family is from that your bartender can use as a mixer for your favorite alcohol." Think agua frescas or even Jarritos sodas.
6. The money dance:
"This is a standard in many Latin cultures (Americans and Europeans have their own versions, too), where the male guests 'pay' to have a dance with the bride." It doesn't need to be cheesy if you keep it light, and because lots of brides aren't doing this at weddings any more, your guests will probably think it's super original and fun. "It's also a good way to placate your mom or abuela," says Gonzalez.
7. The end of the night:
"For weddings we've planned, we've had Dominican cigar rollers show up to give everyone parting gifts and had a piragua guy roll around the dance floor during dessert," Gonzalez says. "If you're looking for a perfect drunken late-night snack that's even better than a slider? Try tostones, arepas, or churros." We're willing to bet your guests would really love that.
