Kristen Wiig Is in Talks to Join Where'd You Go, Bernadette

It seems like it's been years since Cate Blanchett signed on for the lead role in the movie adaptation of Where'd You Go, Bernadette. (OK, it's been since November 2015.) Now, the rest of the characters are being cast, slowly but surely. The latest addition is Kristen Wiig! Richard Linklater is directing the film, based on Maria Semple's 2012 bestseller. We couldn't be happier about the choices so far, and we can't wait to see who else gets cast.

7 Fast Facts About Hulu's New Adaptation of The Handmaid's Tale

Are you heavily invested in the bleakest shows on television? Have you stuck with it through all the seasons of AMC's ultraviolent The Walking Dead and HBO's death-riddled Game of Thrones? If you answered yes, then chances are Hulu's new original series The Handmaid's Tale is right up your alley. Information on the dramatic new series has been pretty sparse until now, but with its release only a month away, we figured there's no time like the present to go over everything we've learned so far. Join us as we cover the basics.

1. It's Based on a Book

First published in 1985, The Handmaid's Male is a dystopian novel by Margaret Atwood. It's considered a classic and has never gone out of print since its first publish date.

2. It's Got Some Pretty Heavy Subject Matter

So what is it about? The tale is set in the future, depicting a totalitarian regime in a post-United States New England; this settlement is called the Republic of Gilead. The narrative hinges on the oppression of women; they are not allowed to read, and main character Offred can only leave the house once a day to go to the local food market. Value in female characters is placed most emphatically on their ability to bear children, so Offred must lay down once a month and pray she gets pregnant. It's not long, though, before these women begin to discover their own agency in exciting and interesting ways.

3. The Cast Is Pretty Legit

Elisabeth Moss will portray lead character Offred, and she's got support from Alexis Bledel, Samira Wiley (Orange Is the New Black), Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter), and Joseph Fiennes.

4. This Isn't the First Adaptation

Hulu's not the first to attempt to bring The Handmaid's Tale to life. There's a 1990 film adaptation starring Natasha Richardson, Faye Dunaway, and Robert Duvall.

5. There's a Totally Bonkers Trailer

If all of the aforementioned tidbits weren't enough to get you excited, consider the first trailer, which is rich with drama and stunning visual imagery.

6. Plus, a Couple Teaser Spots

Here's the first teaser released, giving us a terrifying look at the dystopian world.

This is Hulu's big Super Bowl spot.

Here's one they released on International Women's Day.

7. It's Coming Very Soon

The Handmaid's Tale will be available on Hulu starting April 26.

18 Lucky People Who Ended Up Marrying Their Celebrity Crush

Many of us can only dream of marrying our celebrity crush, but a few lucky people out there actually have. And while saying "I do" with your idol might seem like the ultimate fantasy, the fan-celebrity romance doesn't always end in a happily ever after. Whether sparks flew during a CD signing or a mutual friend was kind enough to set them up, keep reading to see how each and every one of their fan-ry tales panned out.

Please Stop Asking For Organic and Gluten-Free Makeup

First of all, before you get angry about your celiac disease and tell me about all of the horrible things that happen to you due to your gluten sensitivity, let's get something straight. Unless you intend to drink your foundation, you do not have to worry. Gluten that is found in makeup is usually used as a binder, and it is used in trace amounts. That fact coupled with the fact that you are not ingesting the gluten means that you are safe.

Many of you will argue with me, I know. To be sure, I spoke to a representative from Beyond Celiac, an organization dedicated to helping people navigate their life with celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivities.

The expert told me that "current research indicates that gluten cannot be absorbed through the skin. People with celiac disease need to be careful with cosmetics that may be accidentally ingested, such as lipstick or if they have open skin legions. If a person with celiac disease develops a skin reaction to a product, it is likely due to a separate, unrelated reaction to an ingredient in the product."

This was music to my ears and it should be to yours, too! One less thing to worry about.

Now on to the whole organic obsession everyone has. I am not quite sure what people are trying to prove by switching over to organic makeup and skin care. As a makeup artist at a beauty counter, I get a lot of requests for natural products. And if one more person - who is wearing leather boots and drinking a Diet Coke out of a styrofoam cup from McDonalds - asks me for organic makeup, I am going to scream.

I really want to know what you hope to achieve by this new mission besides not looking as gorgeous as modern technology would allow you to. All I know is, since this craze began, women's skin has never been drier. Somewhere along the way, people started spreading a rumor that you can just throw away your Chanel Sublimage Night Cream and replace it with coconut oil.

Coconut oil is not a night cream. Sorry.

The person who started this rumor was very misinformed. Now we are all misinformed, and our skin feels and looks like sandpaper. (Well, some of us. These are just my opinions and observations.)

I know that you all watched an episode of Dr. Oz about parabens and chemicals, and now you are determined to only use organic products. But there are some things to consider about this decision. The wearability of most organic makeups isn't great. You might find that the makeup doesn't sit well on your skin, doesn't last through the day, smudges off around your eyes, and doesn't last long in your drawer. This is the trade-off when you rid yourself of modern technology.

I, personally, am not a fan of much in the organic makeup department. The thought of wearing makeup made out of beets and almond oil doesn't appeal to me. I am far too vain for that. I need my makeup to be its best and I need it to last the day, because I don't want to reapply.

I am confused by those of you who choose to wear natural makeup - with mascara made from wheat-grass and coal running down your face - all in the name of being "organic." I know there are several convincing reasons for your choice. Apparently, some of the ingredients used in nonorganic makeup are hurting the rainforests. I am sorry to say, I am not going to walk around looking bad for the rainforests, sorry.

Another concern is that many brands of makeup utilize animal-testing to achieve their perfect formulas. This, I can understand, may be disturbing to consumers.

Also, a few years back, the news alerted us that parabens, used as preservatives in makeup and skin care, were found to be "endocrine-disruptors" that could cause hormone-driven cancers in women.

So - paraben-free makeup that 500 bunnies didn't die for and is made up of mostly natural ingredients - makes sense. Yet we have to choose wisely and not get too carried away. We have a lot to worry about as we are inundated with news articles and social media posts denouncing chemicals and parabens and talc. We want to look beautiful, and yet we don't want to die. It's a real dilemma.

I have found a few great products that are cruelty-free, paraben-free, and made from mostly natural ingredients that actually work! We can use some of these products and feel like we are doing our part for the rainforests, the lab rats, and ourselves.

Maybe we won't be dedicating ourselves to a life of organic hemp and charcoal makeup, but we can sleep soundly at night knowing that we are wearing some pretty safe stuff.

Here are my top five picks:

  1. Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream ($45)
Years ago, Jennifer Aniston announced that she was using this cream and we all scrambled to find it. She was the first celebrity that I can recall who was using organic skin care. Well before it was cool and well before Goop was telling us to live a "clean" life, Dr. Hauschka created this luxurious cream using rose oil and shea butter to hydrate, strengthen, and soothe the skin.
  2. Shea Moisture African Black Soap ($4)
This is an amazing product for a mere $4! I recently discovered this little gem and now my entire family - who are riddled with acne, eczema, and other weird skin ailments - claim to no be able to live without it. It says right on the label that it will help calm and clear "problem skin." It is for face and body and it is completely certified organic.
  3. Too Faced Hangover Primer ($32)
This makeup primer is vegan and cruelty- and paraben-free. It is infused with coconut water and probiotics - two ingredients that "organic people" love! The formula will hydrate the skin while simultaneously smoothing and priming the skin for makeup.
  4. IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact ($38)
This is brand-spanking-new and it is absolutely groundbreaking. This is the first-ever solid serum foundation that is also infused with antiaging skin care ingredients. The coverage is superb, and it protects the skin with SPF 50+ physical sunscreen. The formula will hydrate, make the skin look radiant, and reduce the look of pores and fine lines. It Cosmetics is paraben-free, cruelty-free, and infused with natural ingredients - so it is a win-win!
  5. Chantecaille 3 Mermaid Eye Matte ($95)
OK, this is everything you could ever want in a "feel-good" product. These three eye shadows are gorgeous, water-resistant, and crease-proof. Not only are they cruelty-free - they feature endangered animals like elephants, bees, and lions. Five percent of the proceeds are donated across the three African-based charities supporting the featured animals! Wear these shadows and know that you are looking like a bombshell while simultaneously saving the world.

At the end of the day, we have to find a way to look like Gwyneth Paltrow, not kill animals or rainforests, and not ingest or absorb harmful chemicals and ingredients. It's a hard battle to win. Use these products, and it's a solid start.

14 Signs You're the Carrie Bradshaw of Your Friend Group

More than a decade after Sex and the City aired its final episode, we're still all obsessed with Carrie Bradshaw. Why? The fashion-loving "single girl" at the center of it all was our guiding light, not to mention our style muse. Years later, we craft outfits inspired by the ones we loved on the show and we embrace dressing up (even for the errand run) or just putzing around the house, flipping through Vogue. If any of this sounds like you, then you've surely identified with the character's iconic fashion sense. Herein, 14 other ways you know you're a total Carrie Bradshaw.

Nobody Told Me Motherhood Gets Progressively Harder

Everybody knows that tiredness is the hallmark of new motherhood. Even before you actually give birth, you fully expect to spend the next few months of your life stumbling around in a sleep-deprived stupor. "Get all the rest you can!" crow the experts from the pages of your pregnancy-and-childbirth books. "Sleep when the baby sleeps!" wisely advises everyone from your grandma to your mail carrier.

And then you bring your bundle of (apparently nocturnal) joy into the world, and find that, yes, you are so tired. You've never been so tired. You're staring-off-into-space, leaving-the-car-keys-on-top-of-the-car, looking-for-your-phone-while-it's-in-your-hand tired. The bags under your eyes could be better described as luggage. But you operate despite your continual haze, buoyed along by the thought that someday - maybe not today, but one of these months - the baby will start sleeping through the night and then you won't be so tired any more.

Only . . . you're wrong. You're so wrong.

Sure, in terms of purely physical tiredness, it gets better. At least a little. Your baby needs you less in the night, and you may occasionally get six or more hours of sleep at a stretch. (Or you may simply adjust to the constant sleep deprivation until it becomes your new normal and you don't notice it anymore - whatever.) Either way, you won't always feel like it would take toothpicks to prop your eyelids open and an IV drip of caffeine to make it until bedtime.

But the tiredness of motherhood is a different kind, and it lasts for years. Decades, even. It's the kind that comes from constantly operating under the weight of caring and remembering and accommodating. We are under a perpetual obligation to fulfill the needs of our kids in so many ways, from the earliest days when you literally do everything for them to later on when you're remembering sports schedules and due dates for school projects and that you need to thaw some chicken for dinner.

It's physical tiredness, yes - chauffeuring and cooking, folding laundry and fetching everything everybody ever loses - but it goes so far beyond the physical. Our minds are heavy with both static facts we need to hold onto (like birth dates and allergies) and a barrage of constantly changing information (like who sold what for the PTA fundraiser and what specific food they'll be consuming in bulk this week). We mentally balance and juggle.

And, oh, the emotional strain. If you're lucky, it will be low-level when they're little; toddlers will have meltdowns and you'll sigh because they're being irrational and there's very little you can do about it. But as they get older, their problems become so much more profound than "I want this cut-up banana reassembled," and those toddler tantrums seem achingly simply by comparison.

They'll have problems in school, they'll have fights with friends, they won't make the team, they'll get their hearts broken - and you, who would gladly take it on yourself if it meant sparing them the heartache, can only help them so much. So you hurt on their behalf, you cry right along with them, though you have to bear the heaviness of doing it in secret so they don't see you being anything but optimistic. You'll stress over huge, potentially life-altering decisions: ones you'll make on their behalf and ones they'll make when they're technically old enough to make them but not mature enough to be smart about it.

Motherhood is a marathon of physical and mental and emotional energy, like holding up a boulder though every muscle fiber in your arms is burning. It's a grueling, indefinite test of stamina. There is no end point in sight; all you know is that you must keep going, have to, for as long as it takes. But in the process, it changes you into something better. It shows you that you're stronger and more capable than you ever dreamed you'd be. And to get through it, you've got the greatest incentive of all - not the strength it gives you, but the strength it gives your children.

A Note to Everyone Who Was Emotionally Terrorized by Homeward Bound

I was minding my own business earlier this week when I noticed that Homeward Bound is one of the movies coming to Netflix in April. I immediately flashed back to my family room, circa '95, watching this movie over and over and feeling straight-up dead inside. This Disney movie is subtitled The Incredible Journey, but The Soul-Crushing Journey would have been more accurate. If you've never heard of it, just turn around and pretend you never saw this. If you have, and the intense feeling of dread is spreading all over your body, you're not alone. Together, we can overcome.

Amazing Teacher Has an "Invisible Safety Net" For Her Hungry Students

As a teacher, Katherine Howton sees her kids on their best days and on their worst days. But as an experienced educator, she's learned to recognize that sometimes changes in behavior come from hunger, and that for some of her kids, their next meal isn't a guarantee.

In order to bring awareness to the over 13 million children who live in households with inconsistent amounts of food, Katherine shared what she and fellow teachers are doing to protect their own students. These incredible teachers have food cabinets in their classrooms so that they are prepared if a child in need ever walks through their door. "We are your children's teachers. We know that we may have more time with your child than you do," she wrote. "We don't want them to be hungry, and not just because a hungry child can't learn but because we care about them. Hungry feels scary."

According to Katherine, who teaches at a high school school in Oregon, almost every teacher that she knows has a cabinet in their classroom with emergency food for hungry kids. "Children come into our classroom everyday telling us they are hungry. Many more never say a word because they are embarrassed and it is up to us to notice that they are distracted, tired, grumpy," she wrote. "Skilled and compassionate teachers learn to ask if there is food in the house and when was the last time you ate? And the really skilled teachers just know when to make an extra sandwich, grab an orange, make a bag of popcorn or bowl of oatmeal, and set it in front of a student and tell them to eat."

Katherine told Scary Mommy that at least 20 percent of her students have housing insecurity and she quickly realized not only how many of her kids go without food toward the end of the month, but also that she is far from the only staff member doing this. "I asked my colleagues, 'Do you find it weird that we've never talked about it?' If we as educators aren't talking about it, how could parents possibly know?" she said.

Katherine also knows that with the current political climate and the government possibly cutting school programs that offer free food, her cabinet is going to be even more important. "They're cutting the federal safety net, and we're providing this invisible safety net that no one even knows about," she said.

Watch these supersweet interactions between babies and puppies, and we guarantee you'll be grinning from ear to ear by the end.

Becoming a Mom Is Terrifying No Matter Who You Are - Just Ask Kate Middleton

Becoming a mother can be an incredibly daunting experience and, despite what some may think, no amount of money, fame, or titles can change that.

Although it may be hard to relate to Kate Middleton considering that she's the Duchess of Cambridge, this mom-of-two opened up about what most moms - even royal ones - have in common. "Personally, becoming a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience. However, at times it has also been a huge challenge - even for me who has support at home that most mothers do not," Kate said while introducing the Out of the Blue documentary film series. "Nothing can really prepare you for the sheer overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother."

Many parents understand the roller coaster of emotion that comes along with parenthood, and Kate got real about her own experience in adjusting to her most important role: being a mom to George and Charlotte. "It is full of complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love and worry, all mixed together," she said. "Your fundamental identity changes overnight. You go from thinking of yourself as primarily an individual to suddenly being a mother, first and foremost."

Although Kate understands that she has more resources than most, she realizes that every mom struggles, no matter her circumstances, and that it's up to fellow mamas to build each other up instead of tearing everyone else down. "You just have to make it up and do the very best you can to care for your family. For many mothers, myself included, this can, at times lead to lack of confidence and feelings of ignorance," she said. "Sadly, for some mothers, this experience can be made so much harder due to challenges with their own mental health."

Whether a woman is struggling with postpartum depression or adjusting to life with a child, the duchess urges others to be honest and seek help instead of hiding. "[It] should not be seen as a sign of weakness. Mothers take on an overwhelming responsibility of caring for their families," she said. "Their role is vital in providing unconditional love, care and support at home, particularly in the early years of a child's development. We therefore should do everything we can to support and value their hard work."

You'll Go Crazy For Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars's Duet of "The A Team"

The world can be a very scary and uncertain place at times (take all of 2017, for example), but sometimes the stars perfectly align to bless us with a beautiful gift. Case in point: Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars's friendship. Before the two engaged in a hilarious and fake Twitter feud over the MTV VMA nominees in 2015, they were showing off their musical bond on stage. During one of Bruno's concerts in St. Louis in August 2013, he brought Ed on stage for a special duet of Ed's hit "The A Team." While Bruno stands back at first and only adds his guitar skills to the song, he then takes the mic to sing along with Ed. The crowd obviously goes wild, and after watching the video above, you will too. And if that isn't enough to satisfy your Ed and Bruno love, check out this amazing mashup of two of their hit songs.

10 Benefits of Running That Have Nothing to Do With Weight Loss

I started running three years ago to lose weight and get in shape and since then, I have finished two half-marathons, a triathlon, one 10K, and a handful of 5Ks. I still enjoy the weight-loss benefit that comes from running, but that's not what has motivated me to stick with a regular running schedule. The other benefits of running are far more motivating than the scale.

1. Confidence

Before I started training for my first half-marathon, my longest run was three miles. It felt great to cross the finish line of my first few 5Ks, but I wanted to see if my body was capable of something more. Now I know that both my body and mind are capable of completing longer distances, and once you finish a half-marathon, you have the confidence to step even further out of your comfort zone and see what else is within your capacity.

2. Sleep

Nothing beats the restful night you experience after a long training run, but even knowing I have a short morning run planned before work has taught me to prioritize sleep every night. Running has made sleep vital to my healthy routine, and the tired legs and relaxed mind make it possible to have quality Zs.

3. Meditation

When I started running, I did everything I could to turn the music up loud enough to drown out the repetitive clunk of my feet hitting the pavement. Over the years, though, I've experimented with new playlists, audio books and podcasts, but have come to appreciate the repetitive, meditative quality of my foot strike. Counting my footfalls lulls me into a quiet, meditative place in my mind that helps me adjust my pace, concentrate on how my body feels, and make it through the long runs without losing my mind.

4. Productivity

Starting my day with a morning run, makes me more productive throughout the workday. I'm more alert, more relaxed, and more able to make decisions effectively. Hitting the pavement before the sun comes up also frees up my evenings to relax, share time with friends, or tackle housework before falling into bed at night.

5. Happiness

There's a noticeable difference in my attitude throughout the day if I've missed a run. It's not just my body that feels sluggish, but my attitude. Because running improves my relationship with myself, I'm able to have more positive interactions with others all day.

6. Relationships

Being able to join a friend for a run, or to share a race experience with a friend builds bonds far stronger than hitting a happy hour together. I've also felt a profound sense of gratitude for friends and family members that have shared race day with my through encouraging texts and phone calls and standing along the race route in the rain to cheer me on. Hitting the finish line at my second half-marathon, drenched from the rain and sweat, but full of gratitude for my parents and best friend that cared enough to cheer me on in the downpour was one of the happiest moments of my life.

7. Anxiety

I have struggled with anxiety my entire adult life. The runner's high and endorphins are far more effective than medication in combating and managing my anxiety. The increased physical and mental stamina, better sleep, and sense of accomplishment in hitting another training goal also provide the mental relief I've been seeking. Spending some much-needed alone time during the long runs gives my wandering mind plenty of opportunities to ruminate and solve the challenges that used to result in debilitating anxiety.

8. Curiosity

That wandering mind also has created some pretty strange mental tangents and daydreams through long runs, too. My creativity spikes when my mind is too relaxed to worry and has time to just wander. More than once, I've walked in the door and scribbled down an epiphany in the closest journal or notebook so I would remember to follow up on an idea for a novel, a funny joke to tell a friend, or a strange interaction with a duck that I wanted to remember.

9. Gratitude

Instead of engaging in the typical body-shaming, negative thoughts so many women experience, I start my day grateful that I'm healthy enough and motivated enough to do something good for my body. I'm grateful for legs strong enough to carry me through miles, the blisters that prove I stretched my limits, cool fall mornings, and safe bike paths. When you are tackling a distance that seemed impossible before, it's easy to be grateful for your body persevering through difficulty.

10. Generosity

When I start to question race entry fees, I try to focus on how much good a local 5K or half-marathon does for the community. The money runners spend on race entry fees goes right back into the charities that the community supports. Small, local running stores benefit from the running community every time we need another pair of running shoes or the latest must-have gear. You're not just paying to run in the street or for a new race shirt and medal, you're giving back to your community one finish line at a time.

If you're thinking about starting a running regimen, you need more motivation than just weight loss. Thankfully, running provides so many benefits that weight loss will eventually feel like the most unimportant of the reasons you run.

Trainers Everywhere Love This Ab Move For a Tight Waist

We love going to all sorts of workouts, from barre to boot camps, Pilates to dance cardio, and everything in between. But lately we've been noticing a common thread in ab day across all our classes - the hip dip.

The elbow plank hip dip is a waist-whittling, ab-sculpting move that trainers LOVE to use for carving out the waistline. We chatted with Shelley Sinegal, San Francisco trainer at Barry's Bootcamp FiDi, who demonstrated for us (see above). Shelley says to "think about arcing the hips like a rainbow when moving from side to side - think 'up and over.'"

  • From an elbow plank, slowly rotate the spine to lower your left hip to just above the floor (about one to two inches from the ground). Come back to elbow plank.
  • Now lower the right hip toward the floor. This counts as one rep.
  • Do as many reps as you can for 20 seconds.

Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" Suddenly Sounds Sexier When You Watch This Dance Routine

Ed Sheeran released his single "Shape of You" last month, and while we love the song a lot, "let's dance to this" was not exactly a thought that crossed our minds - until now. Choreographer Kyle Hanagami shared a video to YouTube recently showing a group of dancers performing an upbeat, sexy routine to the song, and it might change the way you listen to it from now on. Whether you choose a pair of cropped or high-waisted jeans, you'll find that a special embroidery or hem detail takes them to the next level. 13 Looks Pippa Middleton Actually Wore Before Kate

Since Kate Middleton became the Duchess of Cambridge, she has won numerous accolades for her style choices, and everything she wears immediately sells out - so much so that it's even been given a name: the Kate Effect. However, close to home is another glossy brunette beauty who has often worn something very similar - her little sister, Pippa. It seems that more often than not, it's the younger Middleton who wore the look first, and sometimes long before Kate put her spin on it . . .

It's not possible for you to look at the dads in the photos ahead without melting into a puddle. These fathers became Prince Charming to escort their little girls on a date to the movies to see the new Beauty and the Beast live-action film.

"My husband is not someone that likes to stand out in a crowd or draw any kind of attention to himself, but when our four-year-old asked for a 'real prince' to take her to the Beauty and the Beast movie, he swallowed his pride and dressed up with her. She was thrilled and felt so special. He truly would do anything for his little girls," Lisa Williams said of her husband, who even gave his little Belle an "enchanted rose."

Scroll ahead for more fathers who went above and beyond to make their princesses feel special, snapping photos, wearing a Beast costume or a Belle-inspired shirt, and overall fawning over their adorable children.

Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow Have a Cute Friends Reunion at a Charity Event

Lisa Kudrow hosted the UCLA Semel Institute's Open Mind Gala at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, where she happened to bump into an old friend (pun totally intended, by the way): Courteney Cox. The former Friends costars looked incredibly happy to see each other, sharing a hug and a dinner table. After posing for photos with fellow attendee Demi Lovato, Lisa addressed the crowd at the philanthropic event - which raises money for mental health research, education, and clinical care programs at UCLA - as Courteney looked on in the audience. It might not be as fun as an afternoon gossiping at Central Perk or a "Smelly Cat" jam session, but we'll take what we can get.

Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger Confirm Their Romance With a Steamy Kiss

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus were spotted showing PDA while on a stroll in NYC on Tuesday night. The Infiltrator actress and the Walking Dead star held hands as they made their way down the street and stopped to share a steamy kiss against a building. It's the first time we've seen the two out and about in a romantic capacity, though relationship rumors first swirled between the two back in 2015 when Diane was technically still dating Joshua Jackson; they met on the set of Sky - Josh was also in the film - and were reportedly caught "making out" in an NYC bar in December of that year. Diane also supported Norman at his photography exhibition opening in Paris that month. In July 2016, she and Josh announced their split after nine years of dating. Norman has been previously linked to Courtney Love and model Cecilia Singley, and shares a 17-year-old son, Mingus, with ex Helena Christensen.

20 Plump Puppy Bellies to Put a Smile on Your Face

Puppies are pretty fantastic, we all know this. Sure, they're a lot of work, but they're just so darn small and precious. And what is maybe the most precious about puppies is their rotund little bellies. And because pups are so quirky, you can so often find them on their backs with their tummies on display. These puppies - and a few older dogs - are doing just that, which means scrolling through to see them all will surely put a big smile on your face.

Kristi Yamaguchi Tells Nancy Kerrigan to "Break a Leg" in Unfortunate Tweet

Figure skating legend Nancy Kerrigan joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars's 24th season, and ahead of the big premiere, fellow Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi tweeted some words of encouragement to her. But what seemed like an innocent "good luck" took on a new meaning, and it didn't take long for the tweet to go viral after people picked up on the unfortunate choice of words.

Kristi's message - specifically the "break a leg" - had Twitter freaking out once they remembered that Nancy actually did nearly break her leg when she was infamously attacked by a man hired by the ex-husband and bodyguard of her skating competitor Tonya Harding in January 1994. After a practice session at the US Figure Skating Championships in Detroit, assailant Shane Stant struck Nancy above the knee with a professional-grade security baton in an attempt to break her leg so she wouldn't be able to compete in the 1994 Winter Olympics. Her leg wasn't broken (just badly bruised), but Nancy's injury did force her to withdraw from the national championship.

Though Tonya won that event, she and Nancy were both chosen for the Olympic team. In what many consider karma, Tonya finished in eighth place in the Games, while Nancy won the silver medal. And as for Kristi? We highly doubt she meant anything shady with her tweet - but the internet will always remember.

From Blushing Bride to Senior Royal - Kate Middleton's Style Evolution

When Kate Middleton exited Westminster Abbey on her wedding day, she walked straight into her new life as a key member of the royal family, leaving behind many of her single-girl style staples. The flirty and floaty dresses, low-cut evening gowns, tousled locks, and thigh-skimming minis became a thing of the past, as she forged her way ahead with a more demure, duchess-worthy wardrobe. However, since her first year as a royal, Kate has been finessing her look to become something that is suitable for a future queen, sure, but also stays true to who she is. We take a look at how Kate's fashion choices have evolved from her first tentative year as the duchess of Cambridge to a more self-assured mom of two.

This Is Exactly What You'll Find in Kate Middleton's Wardrobe

For many women in the public eye, having a good selection of trusted go-to items in their wardrobe is imperative. Knowing they can throw together a look which is stylish, comfortable, and suitable for the occasion using a few key pieces means they have more time for the other things going on in their lives. The Duchess of Cambridge is currently increasing her royal duties as she juggles two preschoolers at home, so she has over the past few years developed a collection of individual style items that effortlessly make up her signature look. We break it down here . . .

This Newborn Baby Photo Shoot Featuring 9 Puppies Is Going to Ruin You

Newborn shoots are perhaps among the cutest types of photos ever - and sometimes the funniest - but take the combination of a puppy photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot, and, well, you've basically formulated the perfect way to break the internet.

Teresa of Park Avenue Photography got the opportunity to photograph baby Brydon for the first time at just 6 days old - as well as nine little puppies, born on the exact same day. Although it would seem that photographing a bunch of wriggly puppies could be difficult, Teresa surprised us: "Brydon . . . was a booger to get to sleep! But once we started piling up the pups one by one he calmed down instantly!"

12 Questions We Have After Finishing Iron Fist Season 1

After months of anticipation, Netflix recently released its new original series, Iron Fist. The most recent to join the streaming site's slate of Marvel adaptations, the show follows the life of Danny Rand (Finn Jones), an orphan taken in by members of a mystical city. After being presumed dead for over 15 years, Danny - now a kung fu master with the ancient power of the Iron Fist - returns to New York to restore glory to his family name. However, he discovers that his family's company, Rand Enterprises, is deep-seated with corruption and deadly secrets. As he works to discover the truth, his worlds collide and threaten everything that he's ever known.

While the 13-episode season answered many of the questions that had tormented Danny his whole life, it also introduced many more. Unfortunately, season two has yet to be announced and with the show's poor reviews, a renewal is still up in the air. Hopefully, however, Netflix will commission a second season to tie up any loose ends so that fans can rest easy. Just so we're prepared, we drafted a list of the questions that we need answers to the most. Take a look below! Warning: Spoilers ahead.

1. What happens to K'un L'un?

When Danny and Colleen reach the passage of K'un L'un in the final moments of the season finale, they find that the mystical village has vanished from the mountaintop. How does an entire city and all of its inhabitants disappear, and where have they gone? Perhaps there's another dimension or plane that they are moved to. Another theory is that the city is simply cloaked with invisibility - the possibilities are endless when magic is involved. However, if the village really is gone, who or what was responsible, and what will the repercussions be?

2. How do Joy and Davos come together?

Joy and Davos only meet once before, when they come up with the plan to storm The Hand's compound. Yet, they are seen in France having a conversation about how to take down Danny, whom Joy is now convinced is the root of all of her problems. If they both view Danny as an enemy, it makes sense that they would team up against him. However, whose idea is it? Does Davos reach out to Joy, and what makes her think that she can trust a virtual stranger? With Joy's trust issues and Davos's jealousy, we're worried about what they have planned.

3. Is Harold Meachum really dead?

After making a deal with The Hand, Harold became immortal . . . or, so we thought. Bakuto reveals that beheading Harold is the only way to destroy him for good. In his climactic fight with Danny, Harold is impaled and shot off of the roof, falling to his death. Days later, Danny and Ward watch as his body is cremated. However, viewers never get a glimpse at a corpse. Has his body really been destroyed? If it has, is there a chance that he could rise from the ashes like a phoenix? After all, they don't exactly follow Bakuto's instructions.

4. How and when does Madame Gao escape from her cell?

The last we see of Madame Gao, she is in France eavesdropping on Joy and Davos as they come up with a plan to defeat the Iron Fist. However, before that, Danny and Colleen had left her locked in a cell at The Hand's abandoned compound. Do her people finally come to rescue her, and how do they get her out? Alternatively, if she uses her powers to escape on her own, it could mean that she's distanced herself from The Hand and is working as a lone ranger.

5. What happens to all those dead bodies?

Throughout the entire first season, people are murdered left and right. In addition to a few main characters, there are countless henchmen that are made disposable. How do Danny and Ward explain all of the bodies and damage that occurs to Rand Enterprises in the season finale? Do the police ever find the bodies in the swamp? What happens to Kyle's body? If the NYPD never noticed all of those missing people, we understand why Danny and his friends are always so reluctant to turn to the police for help.

6. Does the public ever learn that Harold Meachum had been alive?

After learning that Danny had defeated Bakuto, Harold decides to come out of hiding. He strolls back into the Rand offices, like no time had passed. Ward's secretary looked shocked as she realized that the man in front of her is the same as the one memorialized on the wall. Danny's lawyer, Hogarth, is also confused by his sudden, unexplained presence. However, we never see an announcement made to the press or the public. How many people knew that he had come back from the dead, and if many, how did they explain his most recent death?

7. What really happened to Bakuto?

After winning her fight with Bakuto, Colleen decides to turn him over to the authorities instead of killing him. Davos, however, has other ideas and stabs him in the heart. As Danny and Davos begin to fight, the trio leaves Bakuto's body unattended. When they look back, it has vanished. Colleen suggests that The Hand removes it, but Danny wonders if Bakuto comes back to life like Harold. Either way, Bakuto is pretty brutal towards the end, so we hope that that's the last we've seen of him.

8. What happens to The Hand?

When Colleen and Danny return to the compound to question Madame Gao, they find it abandoned. There had been hundreds of students and guards there just the day before, so where have they all gone? Also, if Gao is imprisoned and Bakuto is dead, who takes over? We know that The Hand had found a way to K'un L'un and that the organization will be a large enemy of The Defenders (a crime-fighting group in an upcoming Netflix miniseries of the same name). We can only imagine after being defeated by Danny and his allies, The Hand will return stronger and more sinister than ever.

9. Does Bakuto's prophecy for Darryl mean anything?

After Danny realizes that Bakuto, Colleen, and the people at the compound are all members of The Hand, he and Davos fight to escape. One of Colleen's students, Darryl, is injured in the process. Bakuto instructs his men to get Darryl patched up, saying, "This young man is our future." It's unclear how far into the future he means. Even though Bakuto has been defeated, Darryl could still be part of a larger plot to destroy or control the Iron Fist. However, we're hoping that Bakuto's words didn't have any meaning behind them. Darryl is one of Colleen's most promising students, and we'd hate to see him further corrupted by The Hand.

10. Is there a chance that Danny's mother could be alive?

In a series of flashbacks, we see that Danny's mother is sucked out of the plane before it crashes, never to be seen again. In all likelihood, she is killed. However, Danny admits to Colleen and Claire that he imagines his mother survived somehow, and is just waiting to be rescued. After all, a body is never discovered. Furthermore, Heather Rand dies differently in the comics, so there's always a chance that Netflix took a few more liberties with the plot and allowed her to survive. We would love to see Danny reunited with some of his family.

11. How much longer will the path to K'un L'un be open?

When Davos arrives in New York from K'un L'un, he makes a point of mentioning (repeatedly) that the passage to K'un L'un would be closing soon. Yet, he never specifies how long they have until that happens. We do know, however, that once it is closed it won't be reopened for another 15 years. Colleen and Danny are in K'un L'un when the season ends, and they still have to discover what happened to the village. Will they get trapped there? Alternatively, if they make it out successfully and return to New York, what will happen if the path closes before someone else is chosen to protect it?

12. Who or what is Madame Gao?

There isn't much that we know about Madame Gao. In fact, for the first few episodes, she is simply a shadow. However, we do know that she is a significant member of The Hand who claims to have been alive since the 17th century; she has powers that she doesn't use often, and she didn't get along with Bakuto for an unknown reason. What, exactly, are her powers and how has she lived so long? Also, if Bakuto was an enemy, but the Rands weren't (she told Danny that they weren't a big enough threat for her to kill them herself), where does her allegiance lie? While she undoubtedly has an ulterior motive, she seems to genuinely want Danny to discover the truth and become the best version of the Iron Fist he could be. Whatever her motive may be, it'll have us shaking in our boots with anticipation until a second season is announced.

Proud Mama Pit Bull Wants Her New Human to Meet All Her Babies

Rescue Pit Bull Grayce had a whopping 11 puppies, so naturally she's pretty proud of them. In this adorable video, she can be seen carrying each of them - one by one - over to her foster mom, Stevoni. Grayce had previously been abandoned in her former home, so Stevoni took her in. Stevoni told The Dodo that she fosters animals "because they need us. We are their voice and need to protect them." Watch the video to see Grayce presenting each of her babies to Stevoni out of pride or need for comfort or whatever reason she may have had, then find out more ways to help dogs in need.

13 Times Keri Russell Oozed Cool, Laid-Back City Girl

It's been a long time since Keri Russell's Felicity days, but the actress is still traipsing around New York City like a breath of fresh air. These days, though, Keri primarily hangs in Brooklyn with her family: her boyfriend and The Americans costar, Matthew Rhys; their baby boy, Sam; and Keri's daughter Willa and son River from her previous marriage to Shane Deary. Besides being a total fashion inspiration and bringing her sartorial excellence to the red carpet, Keri also happens to be a down-to-earth borough babe - she's often spotted riding her bike around town like any other normal, cool city girl and has been photographed doing the school drop-off, schlepping paint samples while pregnant, and picking up beer on a hot Summer day. We're paying homage to Keri's low-profile Brooklyn lifestyle and rounding up all the times she made us proud to be city girls, too.

1 Mom Posted Her Kids' Messy Playroom - Now Others Are Sharing Theirs

"What's behind that closed door you ask?" Jessica Johnson Smith asked on Facebook under a photo of her kids' messy playroom. "Nothing. The first rule of the playroom is we DON'T talk about the playroom."

We have to admit, we saw this photo and, after the initial shock of the mess, remembered that, oh yeah, that's exactly what our playrooms look like every now and then (OK, all the time). We took to our own Facebook to share Smith's image and hilarious caption, asking our readers to share their own playrooms - what we got are the most relatable photos there ever were.
