Proof That Princess Charlotte Is the Spitting Image of Queen Elizabeth
The past year has been full of milestones for Princess Charlotte. Since becoming fourth in line to succeed the throne in May 2015, Charlotte has experienced her christening and first public appearance at Trooping the Colour, and most recently, she embarked on her very first royal tour with older brother Prince George and her parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William. As we got a glimpse of Charlotte during her time in Canada - waving to fans, playing with balloons, and smelling a bouquet of flowers - we couldn't help but notice how similar the adorable 2-year-old looks to her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. The striking resemblance is evident in their round cheeks, wide smiles, and big, bright blue eyes. Days after Charlotte's birth, the queen said of her fifth great-grandchild, "We love to have another girl," while Kate revealed that Charlotte is "very cute" but "has got quite a feisty side." Sounds like she and the queen have more in common than looks.

Katy Perry Compares Obama to "Old Black Hair," Sh*tstorm of Backlash Ensues
When Katy Perry dyed and chopped her hair a few months back, many fans started comparing her new look to Miley Cyrus, and to be honest, the resemblance was rather uncanny. But now the singer is comparing her fresh 'do to an unlikely public figure - Barack Obama - and the internet is pretty damn pissed about it.
During a recent Instagram live session, the singer addressed a series of fan questions, one of which referred to missing her old hairstyle. When Katy read the comment aloud to the camera, she replied, "Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye! See you guys later."
I'm sure we can all do without @katyperry right ??? #Loser http://pic.twitter.com/r9bQcuaCBi
- DJ SCREAM (@DJSCREAM) April 30, 2017
So essentially Katy compared dying her black hair blond to Donald Trump taking over Obama's spot in the White House. Aaaand cue the facepalm. As soon as she uttered the remark, she looked around at her surrounding friends and awkwardly said, "I should leave now," after which someone off the camera said, "OK, you're cut off." Talk about awkward.
When the internet caught wind of this contentious comment, it erupted in a multitude of tweets criticizing how insensitive it was. Read on to see a few candid reactions to the controversy.
Good morning! Barack Obama will always have more Grammys than Katy Perry. Have a great day!

Holographic Eyeliner Is the Latest Galactic Trend Blowing Up on Instagram
Time to dig up last year's holiday wrapping paper and tinsel to try out Instagram's new fad: holographic eyeliner. The style is starting to pop up on Instagram as the latest iteration of the unicorn/galaxy trend.
Women trying these looks out are stating their inspiration as Pat McGrath and Vlada Haggerty. And according to them, it's pretty easy to DIY! Just create your normal eye makeup look - bold brows, lush lashes, etc. Cut a tight-lined or superwinged eyeliner piece out of your most festive piece of holographic paper. Eyelash glue is how you can adhere it to your skin. We even saw someone try a "shattered glass" look, inspired by this K-Beauty trend.

Bernie Sanders Can't Keep It Together After Hearing Trump Applaud Universal Health Care
President Donald Trump has a way with words, you could say: he's especially skilled at inadvertently blurting out opinions on subjects he apparently knows nothing about. During a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Trump praised the country's healthcare system - but he didn't seem to realize he was praising a universal healthcare system. Bernie Sanders, one of the most vocal single-payer proponents, was quite pleased with Trump's comment (even if the president was completely ignorant of Australia's health care).
Trump says Australia's (single payer) health care system is better. @BernieSanders: "Thank you Mr. President" https://t.co/wuQHu8ilkW
- All In w/Chris Hayes (@allinwithchris) May 5, 2017
MSNBC's Chris Hayes played a clip of Trump's comment while interviewing Sanders on May 4. In the clip, Trump simultaneously criticizes the American healthcare system and lauds Australia's. "We have a failing health care - I shouldn't say this to our great gentleman and my friend from Australia because you have better health care than we do," Trump said.
Following a familiar fit of laughter, Sanders jokingly takes Trump's comment at face value. "The president has just said it. That's great. Let's take a look at the Australian healthcare system, and let's move," Sanders said. "Maybe he wants to take a look at the Canadian healthcare system or systems throughout Europe. Thank you, Mr. President. Let us move to a Medicare-for-all system that does what every other major country does."
Sanders has previously said that he would introduce a Medicare-for-all bill into Congress as an alternative to the Republicans' disastrous American Healthcare Act. While it doesn't seem like the president will push for a single-payer healthcare system anytime soon, he's at least aware of its efficacy.
4 Important Networking Secrets You Won't Learn in Business School
I've always been a huge proponent of meeting new people, making connections, and then following up - but in the most personal and least sleazy way possible.
So I recently sent a client a bag of cat poop coffee.
Wait - what?!
Yep, you read that correctly: I sent him a $70 canister of genuine Kopi Luwak coffee, which contains coffee that has been digested and fermented by wild cats in Northern Thailand.
Why would I do such a thing? Well, the last time we met we had both read an article about said coffee, and agreed that we were two of the adventurous few dying to try it. We spent a good five minutes at the beginning of our meeting discussing how it was harvested and pondering what it might taste like. While the rest of our meeting went smoothly and productively, that one personal detail stood out to me. So I sent him a bag with my usual post-meeting thank-you note . . . and you better believe that I heard back from him right away.
It doesn't take an MBA to know that "savvy" and "schmoozy" are not the same thing. Here's how to work the room at your next conference, cocktail party, or career event - the right way:
1. Business Cards
Whether you're one of 1,000 employees or one of one, there's no excuse not to have a polished and professional business card. It's easy to do with the plug-and-chug business card creator on FedEx's website. Stick to colors and design elements that say something about you without being distracting; so, if pink really is your favorite color, use it as an accent on white and gray cards. Don't use a photo of yourself; it's cheesy, and chances are if the person has your card they've already met you in person.
2. Face Time
It's easy to get overwhelmed at large networking events, and there's something to be said for working the crowd. But there's also something to be said about being strategic with whom you spend your time. Do your homework by asking the event's coordinator for a brief rundown of who is going to be there, and then dig into their bios for relevant conversation points. (Don't forget to use Google Images, too, so you recognize them in a crowded room!) Then pick those 1-3 people out and make it a point to get a few minutes of conversation with them. Don't dominate their time; 5-10 minutes will suffice. These personal connections will go a lot farther than a quick handshake with every single person at the event.
3. Follow-Ups
Handwritten notes are a must, and not just to the person hosting the meeting but all attendees. Make a point to address each one by name and thank them for their time and energy. If you're going to send a thank-you gift, remember that "thoughtful" trumps fancy or expensive. If the person you met mentioned being a huge Dodgers fan, send them a Dodgers hat with your thank-you note. Or if they were gushing over the brownies served at the event where you met them, find out who made the brownies and then send them a box. They'll appreciate your thoughtfulness - and it will be a subtle reminder of your attention to detail.
4. Don't Forget the Small Guy
Whether you're networking at a large convention or just meeting someone one-on-one for coffee, remember that your actions toward the other people in the room speak volumes to who you really are as a person. Be kind and respectful to your waitress, the doorman, the coat check guy, and, of course, interns and assistants. After all, we all got our start somewhere - and your graciousness will leave the impression that you're willing to work with people regardless of the title on their business card.
At the end of the day, it's better to rely on personal touches than being overly aggressive or generous. Remembering the small stuff can have a huge impact - and be the thing that sets you apart.

It Was Britney, B*tch! Zoe Saldana Says Crossroads Costar Revealed Her Pregnancy
Zoe Saldana spilled all of the tea on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. The Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 actress confirmed the rumor that her Crossroads costar Britney Spears was the one to break the news that she was pregnant with twins.
"We were on the same flight from LA to New York, and we just talked for the duration of the flight," Zoe said. "She has two boys, I was having twins - and we had a beautiful talk. And I forgot - it never even occurred to me to not to say anything. We weren't trying to hide it, we were just trying to be discreet."
In an Entertainment Tonight interview just days after that flight, Britney was asked if Zoe and she would consider doing another film together. "Who knows? That's a very good idea. But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her," Britney said, spilling all of the beans.
Watch Zoe talk about how there's no hard feelings and say she was just being "Britney, b*tch!"
It's Hard to Miss Who Kate Middleton's Stylist Channeled on Her Wedding Day
Stylist Natasha Archer - the woman behind Kate Middleton's countless elegant looks - got married at a chateau next to Bordeaux, France this past weekend. The Duchess of Cambridge's personal stylist married Chris Jackson, who also works closely with the royal family as a Getty Images photographer.
While the ceremony was stunning, we couldn't help but notice the major similarities between the dress Natasha wore and Kate's Alexander McQueen wedding dress - both have elegant lace sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, and a long train. We have to say we're not that surprised, since they clearly have similar taste in fashion. Scroll on to have a look at the similarities between the weddings dresses below.
Keep It Glowing: How to Clean Your Copper Sink
If you've got a copper sink, you're going to be pleasantly surprised by how low maintenance it is. All you need to do is wipe it down with a mild dish soap and water a couple times per week. Use a cloth or sponge to wipe away the grime. Never scrub it with steel wool or abrasive cleaning tools; it will leave harsh scratches. Make sure to dry it down after cleaning to avoid creating any water spots on the copper finish.
You will also keep your sink looking great if you avoid letting any acidic foods sit on the surface. The acid will eat away at the copper and leave a discolored finish. Think about what you're leaving behind before walking away. It's all about mild, gentle cleaning when it comes to copper.

Nancy Pelosi: "I Never Thought I'd Pray For the Day" Bush Was President
.@NancyPelosi to @jonkarl: "I never thought I'd pray for the day" when George W. Bush was president again https://t.co/F3g5VI54Ob #ThisWeek http://pic.twitter.com/0jjtChRh3w
- This Week (@ThisWeekABC) April 30, 2017
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had a slip of the tongue when she accidentally referred to President Donald Trump as former President George W. Bush during an interview on ABC's The Week. Pelosi sat down with Jonathan Karl to discuss President Trump's first 100 days in office and how the Democratic party could work with him, but it wasn't until she mixed the names up that the interview really escalated.
"Winning means winning for the American people, that either we win or whoever wins understands the priorities of the American people," she said. "And they are not with President Bush." Um. . .
"Excuse me!" she said, after catching her mistake. "I'm so sorry, President Bush. I never thought I'd pray for the day that you were president again."
Liberals could not stand President Bush - and he frequently pops up on lists of our nation's worst-ever presidents - but Pelosi seems to be saying that even Bush's most dismal approval ratings are nothing compared to the way President Trump is viewed by the Democratic leaders and left-leaning citizens.
This isn't the first time that liberals have spoken out about the ironic comparison between Trump and Bush. During Samantha Bee's Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Will Ferrell brought back his notorious George W. Bush impression to laugh about the times when he "was considered the worst president of all time."
"I needed eight years, a catastrophic flood, a war built on a lie, and an economic disaster," Ferrell said as Bush. "The new guy only needed 100 days. He is widely considered the worst president of all time. I came in second. I'm fine with that. No one remembers second place."

Can You Believe Selena's "Como La Flor" Was Released 25 Years Ago?
Selena blessed the world with the release of her third studio album, Entre a Mi Mundo, exactly 25 years ago on May 6. The album was No. 1 on the US Billboard Regional Mexican Album list for 19 weeks and was (and still is) considered the "breakthrough" record of the Tejano singer's career.
The biggest single to come out of the album was of course "Como La Flor," a song still beloved by Selena's fans and often covered by stars, including Jackie Cruz and Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke Hernandez.
The most beautiful rendition of the romantic song was probably the one Selena gave at her very last live concert at the Houston Astrodome in Texas on Feb. 26, 1995. To celebrate the gorgeous and timeless hit, press play above to watch that performance.
Just 16 Pictures of Charlie Hunnam Looking Hot as Hell in King Arthur
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword truly has something for everyone: Guy Ritchie as the director (meaning kickass action), a tale as old as time, and Charlie freakin' Hunnam. Sure, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, and Eric Bana are some grade-A hunks too, but don't even try to tell me that you're not stoked to see Hunnam as the brave young Arthur. Ahead of the film's release, take a look through all the pictures of Hunnam looking fierce AF.
Shaun White Talks to Jimmy Kimmel About the Heart Condition He Shares With His Son
Jimmy Kimmel started his show on Monday night on a very serious and heartbreaking note when he revealed that his son William, who was born on April 21, suffers from a heart condition. The host got visibly upset as he choked back tears while talking about how Billy had to get his first of likely three open-heart surgeries shortly after he was born. While the entire thing has been terrifying for Jimmy and his wife, Molly, who are also parents to daughter Jane, he found comfort in professional snowboarder Shaun White. The athlete, who suffers from the same condition as little Billy, traveled all the way down to LA from Mammoth Mountain to talk to Jimmy about what living with the condition has been like for him, and that there is no reason to think Billy won't have a normal life. After Shaun revealed that he's been able to be so athletic because his parents didn't put too many limitations on him as a kid, Jimmy admitted that he's starting to look at his son's condition differently.
We Just Found the New Gladiator Sandal of 2017
I was casually flipping through an issue of Harper's Bazaar when I saw them sitting pretty on model Alicia Rountree's feet: the sandals I would wear all Summer. "Mmm, I would sleep in those," I mused, as I located the shopping page at the end of the magazine and grabbed my phone to look up my new shoe obsession. Sure enough, these beautiful, two-toned leather and rope heels are a mixed-material masterpiece up close.
Not only that, but they're in line with a new trend: a sandal with a gladiator-like upper that stops at the ankle rather than extending to the shin or the knee. Instead, a chunky braided rope wraps around the leg in contrast. The resulting look is more sporty than boho-chic, but when you opt for a style in a neutral color, these new shoes can be worn with everything from flowy maxi dresses to denim and a breezy Summer blouse. Ahead, meet your new favorite sandals.

Ina Garten's Reason For Not Wanting Children Will Have Many Women Nodding in Agreement
Some women live to become mothers while others would rather do anything else. One choice isn't better than the other because, in the end, it's your choice, which is something Food Network star Ina Garten would agree with. According to People, the Barefoot Contessa explained on the Katie Couric podcast that she and husband Jeffrey decided not to have kids early on.
"I really appreciate that other people do and we will always have friends that have children that we are close to, but it was a choice I made very early," she says on an episode airing soon.
"I really felt, I feel, that I would have never been able to have the life I've had. So it's a choice and that was the choice I made."
She also told Katie that she's never felt judged for choosing a kid-free life, either. "I think the one thing that we miss is a lot of people's friends are the parents of their kids' friends," she says. "So we never had that connection with other people that I see, that network. But no, I never felt judged by it - maybe people did, but I didn't notice."
If you've ever watched Ina cooking on Food Network, you'd know just how sweet her marriage with her longtime husband is. You'd also know exactly what "Jeffrey loves." Their 48-year relationship began when she was a teen visiting her brother at Dartmouth College. She caught the eye of Jeffrey, who was also a student, and the rest is history.
Whether or not maintaining a childless marriage could be attributed to their lasting partnership, Ina says it's all about mutual love and respect. "The secret is that you just take care of each other and admire each other and support each other and you get that back," she says.
See Every Sweet Piece of Too Faced's I Want Kandee Collection (With Swatches!)
Too Faced Cofounder and Chief Creative Officer Jerrod Blandino recently took to Instagram to share one of his enticing "sneaky peeks." The reveal, a 15-pan eye shadow palette, was a first look at the brand's new I Want Kandee collaboration in part with influencer Kandee Johnson. But the tantalizing tease was just a small slice of the upcoming collection - and we were one of the first people to get an exclusive look!
Together Too Faced and Kandee designed eight brand-new products that launch on Sept. 3 exclusively at Ulta. The delectable collection features the aforementioned Candy Eyes palette, but the sweetness doesn't stop there.
Fans of Kandee and Too Faced can also snag the new Candy Black Licorice Eyeliner, Candy Glow Highlighting Stick, Banana Pudding Brightening Face Powder, and not one but, four fresh Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks - all curated by Kandee.
Hear that? That's the sound of our makeup bags having a full on sugar rush. And in true Too Faced fashion, each of the products smells good enough to eat (seriously, everything smells like vanilla ice cream).
We got to catch up with the duo at a press event for the launch. There, the pair shared that the collection stemmed from a routine phone call. "Kandee is one of my best friends, and she called me and said that she had wonderful ideas and recipes that could help women get their desired looks without intimidation" Jerrod shared.
As they brainstormed, Kandee revealed that she wanted to deliver a collection of her very own go-to products. "Everything I get asked the most about were the colors I wanted to create," she said. So the BFFs paired their unique expertise and passion for makeup to curate the new range.
Kandee also revealed that designing user-friendly products for women of all ages and complexions was a huge priority, and it's reflected in the fun, functional collection. "No matter your skin tone or age, these shouldn't be intimidating" she said.
Though you'll have to wait until September to get your Kandee fix, you can still get excited for the new products now. Ahead we've broken down the details of the fresh treats so you can get your taste buds makeup bag ready.
10 Tips That Will Make You a Faster Runner
Slow and steady not cutting it for you anymore? If you want to run faster, here are 10 simple ways to increase your running speed.
- Fuel up: Eating the right prerun foods is important to prevent feeling sluggish during your run. Go for foods that won't cause cramps: choose a small snack of simple carbs with a little bit of protein if you're eating right before a run (read more on how to choose a pre-workout snack here). And drink a cup of coffee about a half hour before you go for a run; studies have shown that caffeine helps you run faster and longer.
- Intervals: Short sprinting bursts are great for making you a better runner all around. Up your pace and stamina with this treadmill interval workout to incorporate into your running routine.
- Tempo runs: Tempo runs are similar to high-intensity intervals, but with this strategy, you don't sprint as fast as you can. Instead, you hold at a fast (but not too fast) pace for a longer time period, like 10 minutes, before slowing down. This helps your muscles get past your lactate threshold, which will help you improve your endurance and speed. Remember that to be effective, your tempo run should challenge your body: you should be able to answer short questions but unable to hold a conversation. Try doing a tempo run every seven to 10 days; read more about how to start tempo running here.
- Hills: There's no reason you should stay on flat land. In fact, there are many reasons why you shouldn't. Running up hills helps make your leg muscles stronger while also increasing your speed and endurance. Whether you run on the treadmill or outside, the next time you start your workout, make sure an incline is part of your route. This treadmill incline workout that mimics rolling hills.
- Postrun sprints: Adding short sprinting strides at the end of a long run can keep your body primed for speed, says trainer Ben Hwa. This is because doing strides after a long run will teach your body how to run fast even when your legs are tired. Ben recommends doing four to eight strides of 70 to 100 meters; aim for 80 percent effort on each stride.
- Negative splits: This strategy is a simple way to make every run a good run, especially on race day. To incorporate a negative split into your next run, just make sure you're running at a good, steady pace and increase your speed for the second half of your run. Here's a quicker-at-the-end treadmill plan to follow.
- Stretches: You may not think of postrun stretching as important for your pace goals, but those few minutes you spend cooling down can really help your speed. Stretching makes you more flexible, which can improve your stride and range of motion. Do these postrun stretches after your workout to become a faster runner.
- Short strides: Shorter strides can make you a more efficient, and therefore speedier, runner, says trainer Jennifer Pattee. Focus on keeping your strides regular and short to increase your running efficiency.
- Midfoot strike: Focusing on landing on the middle of your foot - rather than your heels or toes - can also help you avoid injuries and discomfort that will slow you down, Jennifer adds. Aim for striking with a flat foot for a strong, confident strike.
- Drills: Adding a few running drills to your warmup routine will help improve your running form and speed, Ben says. Do a few minutes of high knees, skipping, and backward running before a run to train your body to operate properly.

Chanel's Cruise Show Is a 1-Way Ticket to Greece
Last year, Karl Lagerfeld took his guests to Cuba for Chanel's Resort collection. This year, the designer brought it back to home base: the Grand Palais in Paris. The theme, however, was not Parisian-inspired. Instead, guests arrived to a scene straight out of ancient Greece with limestone and marble-like structures serving as the backdrop for the runway. The clothes also gave off strong Grecian vibes. Models made their way down the catwalk in billowy dresses with golden wreath motifs, embellished headbands, and strappy heels inspired by ancient Greek sandals. Lagerfeld offered tons of pretty options to wear on your next vacation - maybe it's time to book that trip to Greece?
Trump's Army Secretary Nominee Once Compared Evolution to an Old Lawnmower
If Pope Francis, leader of 1.2 billion Roman Catholics, can defend evolution, it might be time for so-called "creationists" to reevaluate their arguments against it as well. However, President Donald Trump's nominee for army secretary, Dr. Mark Green, has continued to deny evolution, despite widely accepted scientific claims indicating otherwise.
In a speech given in 2015, Dr. Green attempted to discredit evolution by comparing it to a lawnmower (a man-made machine). First, Green criticized evolutionists' theories as lazy explanations for complexities outside of their imagination. "The evolutionists have their bad argument, too. They say, 'Well, I can't explain how it went from this to incredibly complex, so it must have been billions of years,'" Green said to a Cincinnati church congregation. "That's kind of where they put their faith. The truth of the matter is is the second law of thermo fluid dynamics says that the world progresses from order to disorder not disorder to order."
Green then tried dispute evolution with an illogical metaphor. "If you put a lawnmower out in your yard and a hundred years come back, it's rusted and falling apart," Green claimed. "You can't put parts out there and a hundred years later it's gonna come back together. That is a violation of a law of thermodynamics. A physical law that exists in the universe."
Green is, of course, right, that you cannot use a century-old lawnmower. But his rationale implies that humans and machines are equivalent in development, which is simply not the case.
This nowhere near the first time Dr. Green has been criticized for his controversial opinions. Green drew the ire of LGTBQ activists when he suggested being transgender was a medical condition on Sept. 14, 2016. "If you poll the psychiatrists, they're going to tell you that transgender is a disease," Green said.
Some Republican leaders have expressed doubts about Green's nomination as well. On May 2, Arizona Senator John McCain told USA Today that Green's past comments about the LGBTQ community are troubling. "There's a lot of controversy concerning his nomination," McCain said. "We are getting some questions from both Republicans and Democrats on the Armed Services Committee. I think there are some issues that clearly need to be cleared up."
USA Today noted that McCain chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, which is responsible for approving Green's confirmation. It appears that Green's hearing might not happen anytime soon since his nomination has yet to be formally submitted.

David Beckham's "Dinner of Choice" Will Have You Screaming "What the Eff?"

We never thought we'd see the day where we were actually questioning David Beckham's level of sexiness, but his most recent choice of dinner has us a little perplexed, to say the least. On May 2, Beckham celebrated his 42nd birthday alongside his adorable family, but it's not his Benjamin Button aging tactics that are raising eyebrows; it's his "dinner of choice" and the bizarre combination of foods.
Beckham shared a photo of his plate on Instagram, pictured below.
We totally get it: it's his birthday and he can eat whatever he wants, but the visual of all the foods mashed up on the plate together has us feeling things about DB we never thought were possible. Let's break it down. According to Business Insider, Beckham's plate is filled with gammon (ham), a fried egg, coleslaw, two pineapple rings, mushy peas, baked beans, and potato wedges - quite the interesting combination.
When we think of Beckham's washboard abs and perfectly toned athletic physique, we assumed he preferred a protein-heavy meal or a huge rack of ribs for his birthday cheat dinner, so this array of mushy peas and pineapple rings definitely took us by surprise. Whatever floats your boat, Becks (and he definitely redeemed himself with this delicious-looking dessert below)!

Kendall Jenner's Airport Pants Will Replace Your Favorite Pair of Sweats
When deciding on a travel outfit, comfort typically comes first, and Kendall Jenner's jet-setting look - a Vetements pullover paired with silky, striped track pants from Morgan Lane - fits right into that category. The model was spotted rocking the ensemble at LAX, keeping accessories to a minimum and finishing her look with a pair of white sneakers.
Kendall may be onto something with her on-the-go look, as Hailee Steinfeld - who was at LAX the very same day - wore a pair of Adidas track pants with a crop top for her own flight. The coincidence definitely left us wondering: are these bottoms the new, more stylish airport sweats? Scroll through for proof that this might be the case, then shop some track pants ahead to nail the look.
