What Is the Secret to Goldie and Kurt's Romance? "Family, Fun, Laughs, and Sex"
Goldie Hawn is an open book when it comes to her 34-year-long romance with Kurt Russell. During an interview with People, the Snatched actress opened up about her instant connection with him on the set of their 1984 romantic war drama, Swing Shift. "He was so good-looking, but he had no pretense about him. I could tell right away he wasn't a womanizer," she said. At the time, Kurt had just finalized his divorce from Season Hubley and was already a father to his son, Boston, while Goldie had two kids, Oliver and Kate, from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson, but it didn't take long for their friendship to develop into something more. "What really got me was when I watched my kids when they'd come to the set and how he was with them," she added. "He was amazing with them. He was such a natural."
Even though the two have never officially tied the knot, they're still one of Hollywood's strongest couples, which Goldie credits to family, fun, laughs, and sex. "If you don't nurture that, and remember, you're done." Of course, she isn't naive to the challenges of monogamy either. "I'm sure I've been party to it, and Kurt's been - we're all normal this way," she admitted. "Would you want a man who doesn't look? Who doesn't feel inspired by the beauty or the curves of a woman's body? Or the way she is? I mean, come on. We're human beings. There is, I guess, an elasticity to the relationship. Otherwise it's going to break, just like a rubber band."
And the two are constantly growing in their relationship. After all these years, Goldie admitted that Kurt still surprises her, most recently at their joint Walk of Fame ceremony. "It turned out to be a love fest," she said. "The last thing he said was, 'I'll always cherish you.' I didn't expect him to say those things. I had no idea he was going to be so beautiful."

9 Things I Learned From a Previously Unreleased Trump Documentary
In September 1989, New York Magazine published an article titled "Trump vs. Stern: The Unmaking of a Documentary." The piece described an ongoing battle between then-celebrity businessman Donald Trump and Leonard Stern, a fellow real estate tycoon who owned multiple media outlets - including The Village Voice. In 1988, Stern financially backed a documentary about Trump. Trump was not happy about it. Trump and Stern had already exchanged public insults in the past and were considered rivals, but Stern maintained that he did not influence the media companies he owned or the content they created - and that the same went for this project.
"In all the years that Donald has been in the spotlight, he is the same person. He has not changed. He still lies."
The documentary was meant to be the pilot episode in a series about celebrity businessmen in the 1980s, but it never made it to air. Trump allegedly started to make up rumors that Stern's wife was calling Trump to beg him for a date and threatened to sue major TV networks if they agreed to carry the documentary. "As we dug into Donald, we learned that he was perhaps the most litigious man in America," Libby Handros, who coproduced the documentary, told me in a recent email. "There was no cable, let alone the internet, so there were only three networks and some independent channels that ran syndicated programming. Given the limited number of outlets, it was sadly very easy for Donald to block the broadcast. All he had to do was threaten to sue anyone who would broadcast the film. Even if his charges had no merits, when someone receives legal papers they have to be answered." In other words: why take on the headache? The documentary languished.
As Trump started getting more involved with politics (and specifically after Trump attacked John McCain in July 2015), Handros decided it was time for the American public to finally see the documentary. She released it on Aug. 1, 2015. "Our tagline, old Trump, new Trump, same Trump I think says it all," she said. "In all the years that Donald has been in the spotlight, he is the same person. He has not changed. He still lies, he still cheats small contractors out of money by claiming they did not do a good job, for example."
According to Handros, Trump: What's the Deal - which is now available on iTunes for $8 - is a film that "proves that, far from being an outsider, Donald is the consummate insider. His father, Fred, was politically connected, and those connections propelled Donald forward, and he continued to use them."
The eye-opening documentary outlines some of the unsavory business decisions and tactics Trump used in New York City during the 1980s and serves as an explanation for his unpopularity in the city. Read on for some of its most shocking revelations.
1. Trump paid his wife Ivana $1 in salary for running a hotel.
In 1988, Trump bought the Plaza Hotel for $407.5 million. He made his then-wife, Ivana, the president of the hotel. Trump told the press her salary was "$1 a year and all the dresses she could buy." Later on, he could not afford to pay back the amount of debt the Plaza had acquired, and Citibank agreed to obtain a 49 percent stake in the hotel in exchange for forgiveness of $250 million in debt.
2. Trump lied to the press when Gorbachev visited New York.
When Mikhail Gorbachev, former leader of the Soviet Union, visited the US in 1988, Trump blabbed to TV stations and newspapers that Gorbachev planned to visit Trump Tower. In the film, Newsweek reporter Jonathan Alter commented: "It was almost a textbook example of a publicity stunt, which worked and has worked on many occasions for him." Not only was this never on the leader's list of stops, but the visit also did not happen.
3. Trump once sued an architecture critic for a bad review.
After Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic Paul Gapp criticized Trump's plan to build the tallest building in the world in New York, Trump sued for $500 million. Gapp spent a good amount of his article speculating about what the building might look like, since there were no rendering yet for him to judge. Most of his criticism came from the impracticality of the size and shape of the building. He explained that tall, slender buildings are economically inefficient. Eventually, the case was dismissed in Federal District Court in 1985.
4. Trump let people believe he was restoring the Central Park ice skating rink for free.
In 1986, Trump restored the ice skating rink in Central Park. Many New Yorkers were under the impression he did this as a great public service to the city, but in reality, he was paid in full - and his workers weren't. He told contractors that they were going to work "pro bono," and understandably, many of them did not understand that this meant working without pay or were unaware that Trump would be paid while they worked for free.
5. Trump landed his first big deal through a series of outsize political favors.
Trump's first major deal in Manhattan was renovating the rundown Commodore Hotel, which is now known as the Grand Hyatt New York. It was owned by bankrupt Penn Central Railroad, and the owners were desperate to get rid of it. According to the documentary, Hyatt still did not have a New York branch and Trump planned to buy the hotel and get Hyatt to manage it. Trump did not yet have the capital required for the project and had his father, Fred Trump, guarantee part of the construction loan. Through his father's extensive political ties, he got an enormous, 40-year tax abatement in 1976, which is still the longest ever granted by New York City. The project was approved on the last day of Mayor Beame's administration.
6. Trump demolished museum-worthy, historic architecture to build Trump Tower.
When Trump built his mecca, he had to tear down a historical New York building, the Bonwit Teller. The building contained priceless architecture, which he promised to gift to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. When he was told how much it would cost to remove the facades from the building in order to preserve them, they were mysteriously demolished.
The Trump Tower is also "missing" 10 floors to give the impression that the building is taller than it actually is. He later used this tactic again with his Trump International Hotel and Tower in Columbus Circle; he thought it was more impressive.
It's also well documented that Trump hired undocumented Polish workers to construct the tower. They slept at the work site and were not given protective gear; many of them were not paid in full either.
7. Trump bought a building in 1981 and then tried to kick out all of the tenants.
In 1981, Trump bought an apartment building located at 100 Central Park South in Manhattan. He reportedly walked in and told everyone in the rent-controlled apartments that they were being evicted and had to leave. According to the tenants interviewed in the documentary, Trump hired people to threaten them into leaving and claimed to be investigating (or lied about) their drinking habits, personal lives, and sexual orientation. He brought eviction lawsuits and lawsuits against the lawyer representing the tenants. Eventually, Trump settled with the tenants' association in 1986.
8. He destroyed an entire football league.
In 1983, Trump bought the New Jersey Generals, a failing team in the United States Football League (USFL). The USFL had been created as an indirect competitor to the NFL, but the teams played in the Spring instead of the Fall. While the USFL was never as successful as the NFL and infrequently received better ratings than Major League Baseball (aired during the Spring), many saw the league's potential.
Initially, Trump generated a lot of publicity for the league and helped gain attention and viewership to the USFL. However, Trump wanted to compete directly with the NFL and urged his fellow USFL team owners to move the league to the Fall. According to court transcripts, the goal of this was to either "have a league that's going to be just as valuable as the NFL, or we're going to have a merger."
The NFL already had contracts with the three major TV networks, so the USFL filed an antitrust lawsuit for $1.69 billion. Trump provided the lawyers (including his buddy Roy Cohn).
When the jury finally reached a decision, they sided with the USFL. However, instead of awarding them the fortune they had asked for, they were only awarded $3.75. At this point, the USFL could not hope for a merger and knew they could not compete directly with the NFL. The owners decided to end the USFL in 1986.
9. He's thought about running for president for a very long time.
The documentary includes footage of an interview with Trump from 1989 on the show 11th Hour. In the clip, the reporter asked Trump if he would ever consider running for president. His response was, "I would much prefer that someone else do it; I just don't know if somebody else is there. I don't know if we have the type of advocate that we need. We need major surgery. This country needs major surgery."
The documentary ends with a somewhat eerie prediction from then-Spy magazine writer Graydon Carter, now the editor of the Trump-maligned Vanity Fair: "The only end to this road is ultimate madness, living alone in an apartment in Panama . . . or taking over the world. One or the other. It's either the most public life in the world or the most private at the end of this. There's no in between . . . either the greatest Bond villain of all time or Howard Hughes."

Trump's Firing of FBI Director James Comey Is Terrifying - No Matter Your Politics

You might almost think Hillary Clinton has found an ally in the White House. In a bitterly ironic twist of fate, President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey on May 9, claiming the reason was that Comey acted unprofessionally by disclosing the bureau's investigation into Clinton's emails back in October. You read that correctly: the man who once suggested Comey's assessment of Clinton was not harsh enough is now firing him for revealing the bureau's investigation into her emails.
CNN's Jeffrey Toobin offered an apt analysis of Comey's firing shortly after the news broke. "This is the kind of thing that goes on in non-democracies. When there is an investigation that reaches near the president of the United States, or the leader of a non-democracy, they fire the people who are in charge of the investigation," Toobin asserted. "I've not seen anything like this since October 20, 1973, when President [Richard] Nixon fired Archibald Cox, the Watergate special prosecutor. This is something that is not within the American political tradition."

Toobin's point identifies the central issue with Comey's firing: as the head of the FBI, Comey was responsible for the ongoing investigation into Trump's association with Russian operatives. It is particularly disconcerting given that the executive branch is legally supposed to be to completely separate from the judicial branch; Trump's firing of Comey is an apparent rejection of this purported division and latently motivated by political discord.
Even former Clinton staffers expressed concern over Comey's firing, despite the fact that the former Democratic presidential hopeful has maintained that Comey influenced the election in some capacity. Clinton's former campaign manager, Robby Mook, said Comey's removal "terrified him."

To be fair, it seems like Katy and Calvin have been tight for a while, at least in a professional capacity. The two posed together backstage with two of Calvin's other exes, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding (who also happens to be one of Taylor's friends) at the MTV EMAs in 2013, and Katy and pal Rihanna also checked out Calvin's set during Coachella back in 2012.
Katy and Calvin also seemed to take each others' sides when the DJ went off on Taylor in a series of tweets after their breakup; when news broke that Calvin's 2016 hit "This Is What You Came For" was actually written by Taylor under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, he denied the claims, writing, "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym." He went on, "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though . . . I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it." Katy, of course, caught wind of Calvin's tweets and responded by posting a GIF of Hillary Clinton looking rather satisfied, which she then followed up with a retweet of an old tweet from a year ago that read, "Time, the ultimate truth teller." We'll just have to wait and see what kind of magic the two make on their song when Calvin's album drops on June 30.
The Gifted: What You Need to Know About Marvel's Latest TV Show
Marvel is extending its television reach. While the megacompany has shows on ABC and Netflix, it's debuting a new series on Fox this Fall: The Gifted. The family adventure series will be directed by Bryan Singer, and though Fox isn't saying it's about the X-Men . . . it's totally about the X-Men. While we wait for a full trailer and premiere date, take a look at everything we know so far.
The Plot
According to Fox, The Gifted is "the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive."
The Cast
The couple is played by Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and Amy Acker (Person of Interest). The rest of the cast includes Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Percy Hynes White.
Behind the Scenes
Matt Nix (APB) wrote the pilot and will continue on as an executive producer. In addition to director Bryan Singer, there are a number of X-Men and Marvel alums working behind the camera: Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory are all serving as executive producers. (The group has worked on everything from X-Men: Days of Future Past to Marvel's Jessica Jones.)

Deep-Clean Your Natural-Fabric Couch For Better Snuggling

Identify the Fabric
Couches come in lots of shapes and materials, with some even having removable and washable cushions. Prep Your Couch
Get your couch ready for grooming by using a clean and dry white hand towel or washcloth to brush the entire piece of furniture, breaking up any dried-on spots and removing any bits that have made homes of nooks and crannies. You can also use a stiff brush for this step. Avoid using any colored towels or sponges, as the dye may alter the color of your couch.
Deep-Clean
Sprinkle the entire couch with a good heap of baking soda. Baking soda helps release lurking smells and break up stains in the fabric. If you're feeling your sofa really needs a serious clean, mix together this dry natural carpet cleaner, and then use for covering the fabric. Allow the baking soda to sit on the couch for at least 20 minutes and up to an hour before vacuuming using a brush attachment.
Stains, Begone
Now take a closer look at the couch to find any lingering stains. Dip the washcloth in the cleaning solution, and gently dab and rub stains - or simply use for wiping down the entire couch. You'll be amazed with the results!

I Never Thought Much of Mother's Day Until I Lost My Mom
It's hard to avoid all the commercials for last-minute gifts and flower bouquets, the drugstore aisles overflowing with greeting cards, but I've become an expert at looking away. Now an email stares out from my inbox touting "Mother's Day must haves" and I squeeze my eyes to prevent tears from coming out so my co-workers won't see. The only thing I want is for my mom to just be here. But she's gone.
My mom passed away completely unexpectedly last Summer, and while I feel stronger and more together than I thought was possible, most days I wake up in shock that my new reality is a life without my mom. I've learned how to navigate that deep pain a bit, having some control over when and how I want to think about it and experience it, but I have my triggers. It hurts when I hear people complaining about how their moms are "so annoying." It stings when I see a little girl and her mom holding hands. But tackling Mother's Day alone? Nothing prepared me for this.
This holiday always felt completely innocuous till now. In fact, my mom never liked us making a big deal over it. So I'm trying to remind myself that it's just a day, and not everyone is experiencing it like I am. But then it occurred to me - some are. And so, for those of you out there who have lost their mom, or are curious what this type of loss feels like, I feel compelled to share a voice that's not really heard. Mother's Day doesn't have to be just for celebrating; it can be for remembering. Here's how I've been getting through it so far.
Remembering the kind of mom she was
The weirdest thing about losing your mom suddenly at a young age is that you never, not for a minute, thought she wouldn't be there. As a kid I'd call out her name in the darkness from my bedroom if I ever felt scared or ill. Sometimes I could only get out a whisper, but she'd appear instantly, as if she already knew. She taught me everything. How to draw, how to paint my nails, how to cram for a geography test, how to identify the coolest bands on the radio, how to believe in myself, and how to express myself. Rather than focus on what I've lost, I think about how lucky I am for all that I've gained. In the moment, when something I'm doing reminds me of my mom, I send her a smile and sort of thank her in my head. Even though she's not here, she's still a guiding light.
Reaching out to fellow grievers
Thanks in part to my journalistic instincts, I felt weirdly compelled to reach out to a few friends who had also lost their parents. My mission was twofold: one, to tell them how sorry I was for not even remotely understanding how devastating their loss was at the time, and two, to uncover where they found their strength. If you've lost someone yourself or you know someone who has, I can't express how helpful reaching out can be. My friends didn't really have advice about how they got through it, but they all revealed the same thing that gave me hope: whether their mom or dad had been gone for one year or 20, they still felt like they were there, and when they thought about them, it was more often with a smile instead of just tears. That became my new goal.
Doing what makes me feel good
Sometimes it's hard to figure out what this is, especially in the early stages of grieving. At first I couldn't eat for days, so if I felt like doughnuts, I got them. I swapped watching dramas and thrillers for a pretty steady diet of comedies and sitcom reruns before bed (I find nighttime is the hardest). As a natural nurturer, I found myself worrying more about others, so I stepped up to the plate to help my family, organizing arrangements, checking in daily with my dad and brother, and doing my best to make sure we were all moving forward in a healthy way. I decided to go back to work soon after my mom passed, because I felt I needed it. In part because it was a helpful distraction, but also because doing a good job at something I had control over made me feel really strong. Some days the only thing that felt good was binge-watching Netflix under a big blanket, and I told myself that was OK, too.
Asking for what I need
When coping with loss, you may want time for quiet reflection, you may want a hug from a friend, or you may want to be really social - and all of this may change depending on the day. Don't expect those around you to be mind readers or you might be disappointed. Sometimes I randomly want to talk about my mom or feel overwhelmed with sadness, and it feels weird to bring it up. I still struggle with this one, to be honest. My boyfriend and I have developed a routine where I'll sniffle a bit, he'll ask what's wrong, I'll say nothing, he'll ask if it's about my mom, I'll nod, and he'll ask if I wanna talk about it. Sometimes I'll share a memory, and other times I opt out, but it feels so good just knowing he gets it.
If you're feeling like you need support on Mother's Day - or any time - you may just need to text a friend and say, "Hey, I'm having a rough day." And if you know someone may be down, but you don't know what to say, you can always reach out and say, "Hey, I'm thinking of you today." You can't go wrong with opening the door and letting your friend know you are there.
Honing in on what's important
While I didn't change my lifestyle, you could say my priorities changed by truly learning the meaning of "life is too short." I may not be able to experience major life milestones with my mom, but I am determined to live a happy and fulfilling life with my loved ones. That translates to giving those I care about as much time and attention as possible. I wish I'd had more time with my mom to make just one more wonderful memory, but I'm so lucky that I have decades of them to conjure up whenever I please. Especially on Mother's Day.

According to her, there are only two distinctions - and they are so simple! - but they are essential for a youthful, glowing complexion.
You're removing your eye makeup wrong.
You've probably heard that ever since you were old enough to understand what eye cream was, it should be applied with caution to this delicate area. But while I've been daintily applying treatments with the pad of my ring finger, I've also been removing my eye makeup like a savage, leaving my skin streaked and slightly sore from rubbing. This is unacceptable behavior overseas.
Kazumi noted that heavier eye makeup is starting to increase in popularity in Asia, as smoky eyes and other Kardashian makeup is migrating there from the states. However, there's more education behind eye care there. "We're teaching them how to do the gentle removal," she said. "Because we know that this area really is the fastest to show signs of aging, we make sure that when we cleanse, it's very gentle."
That means no aggressive rubbing. Instead, simply soak a cotton pad with your favorite makeup remover, press it firmly to your closed eyelid, and hold it there for around 10 seconds. (This will allow the formula to dissolve your mascara, liner, shadow, and any other products.) Then, gently wipe off your makeup in one smooth motion. Repeat as necessary until the cotton pad comes away clean. As you've likely noticed, essences (also known as "clear lotions") have made their way into American skincare markets, but there is still a lot of confusion around these formulas. Essences basically function as a thin, watery serum that is meant to be patted into clean skin as the first step of any regimen. They're packed with high concentrations of powerful ingredients and infuse a complexion with deep hydration.
SK-II's Facial Treatment Essence ($179) contains more than 90 percent of Pitera, the brand's fermented, yeast-derived star ingredient, which hydrates, brightens, and gently exfoliates without stripping the skin. 5 Things We Know About 13 Reasons Why Season 2
Before Netflix could even announce whether a second season of 13 Reasons Why was a possibility, viewers divided themselves into two camps: those who wanted more episodes and those who absolutely did not. As of May 7, Netflix is forging ahead with season two, and we already have several key details. Of course, more solid information will trickle in over the next few months, but we're at a good starting place. Here's what we know!
1. The Plot
Before the renewal was finalized, we had a few creative theories about how Netflix could continue Hannah's story . . . it sounds like we're mostly wrong, though. Netflix's official statement says that season two "picks up in the aftermath of Hannah Baker's (Katherine Langford) death and the start of the characters' complicated journeys toward healing and recovery." Healing and recovery sounds great, but remember how season one ends? There's potential for a whole lot more damage.
Creator Brian Yorkey confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that "it's safe to say we pick up a number of months after the first season ended." He also said Hannah will be back, as they writers will again be weaving the past with the present, that we'll see more of Jessica's story, and that a different person will serve as the narrator.

Creator Brian Yorkey is returning, but we don't yet know if author Jay Asher is helping write the new batch of episodes. In fact, Asher's recent Tweet seems to imply that he won't be involved: "My confident excitement for @13ReasonsWhy Season 2 rests in Brian Yorkey and the mind meld we performed a couple years ago. (And that cast!)" Selena Gomez posted the season two teaser on Instagram, so we can assume she's continuing on as an executive producer. As for the cast, it's very likely that most of them will be back (Ross Butler recently dropped out of Riverdale due to professional conflicts) if the episodes are just a continuation of the first season.
4. What the Cast Has Said
The cast have posted about their excitement for a second season via Twitter and Instagram, but they've remained tight-lipped about what season two could hold. Star Katherine Langford did speak to what she hopes will happen during a red carpet interview with E! News on May 7: "Personally, I would be interested to see more discussion into what's happening afterwards," she said. "It's interesting in the first season we get to see what the characters go through post-Hannah's death. I think Jessica [Alisha Boe] has a really interesting story to tell - and recovery to make."

We Weren't Expecting This Gordon Ramsay News - but We Love It!
Last year, Gordon Ramsay released a new mobile game with Glu Media, and today, the two entities have announced updates to the game. First off, it has been renamed Restaurant Dash with Gordon Ramsay! According to a press release, these changes come after the game generated a whopping $23.4 million in bookings. For comparison's sake, Kim Kardashian made about $20.4 million off of her Glu Media game in 2016, according to Forbes.
Because of the wild success of Gordon Ramsay's game, "Glu has doubled-down on the title and looks forward to its continued success." In addition to the new name, the game will feature a new logo, new hi-res graphics (including mean-mugs from Gordon), a streamlined user interface, and new world map navigation. The updates include more social features like the "ability to send and receive gifts/messages (from Flo and Gordon, too!), create and complete group goals, and share achievements." There's also a new venue; "players will serve brunch in front of a live audience in New Zealand's Waikato #JetSetter."
While I have yet to try the new, updated version of the game to report all of the changes, knowing Chef Ramsay and Glu Media, it's sure to be better than ever . . . and an even more addictive player experience with fresh, new Gordon insults. JonBenét's father, John, was the one who found her body on Christmas Day in the basement of their Boulder, CO, home roughly eight hours after her parents reported her missing after they found a ransom note. An autopsy of JonBenét's body revealed that she was struck in the head and strangled to death. Police also later confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted.
Unlike other murder cases that go cold after years of being unsolved, JonBenét's has done the opposite and only continues to heat up. There have been a number of documentaries and TV specials about the murder, and most recently, Netflix released Casting JonBenet, its chilling take on why the intense media attention of the Ramsey family has failed to waver. JonBenét's murder remains unsolved to this day, but there were a few main suspects that police thought could have committed the horrific act.
1. John and Patsy Ramsey
Because it seemed so unlikely that kidnappers would kill their victim, leave the body in their own home, and still leave behind a ransom note, police were quick to turn their suspicions to JonBenét's parents, John and Patsy. Boulder police believed for many years that on the night of the murder, Patsy injured JonBenét in a fit of rage and either killed her while still angry or killed her to cover up an injury. In 1999, a Colorado grand jury voted to indict Patsy and John because they believed they were abusive toward their daughter, which eventually led to murder. In 2008, two years after Patsy died of ovarian cancer, prosecutors officially cleared the family of any wrongdoing.

2. Burke Ramsey
Despite looking closely at JonBenét's parents, police were clear that her older brother, Burke, who was 9 years old at the time of her murder, was never a main suspect. He was formally exonerated along with his parents in 2008, but he recently got a lot of unwanted attention when the CBS docuseries The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey aired in September. In the show, a team of experts, which included a retired FBI agent and a behavioral analyst, came up with the theory that Burke was eating pineapple on that fateful Christmas Eve when his little sister came downstairs and took a piece of fruit from him (her autopsy revealed she had pineapple in her stomach at the time of her death). They suggested that Burke got angry and hit JonBenét in the head with a flashlight, breaking her skull. They theorized that John and Patsy Ramsey then attempted to cover up what Burke had done with the ransom note plan. The team also analyzed video footage of interviews police did with Bruke shortly after the murder, in which he shows no signs of trauma or emotional distress.
After the special aired, Burke was quick to fight back against the damning claims, telling Dr. Phil in a rare sit-down interview that he had nothing to do with his sister's death. "I know people think I did it, that my parents did it," he said. "I know that we were suspects. I want to honor her memory by doing this interview."

3. John Mark Karr
In a bizarre turn of events, former schoolteacher John Mark Karr, who appeared to have no connection to the Ramsey family or the case, confessed to killing JonBenét in graphic detail in 2006. After fleeing the US for Thailand after facing child pornography charges, Karr emailed professor Michael Tracey at the University of Colorado Boulder about a documentary Tracey was making about the case. After telling Tracey about his sexual fascination with JonBenét, Tracey reported him to the police. He was arrested in Thailand and immediately flown back to Colorado for questioning. Despite his detailed confession, which included saying he strangled JonBenét during a "love game" gone wrong, he was ultimately cleared after his DNA failed to match the profile of an unknown male's found at the crime scene. Police could also never confirm whether or not he had ever been to Boulder before, and he was quickly considered to be a pedophile just looking for fame.

4. Gary Oliva
Despite thinking that JonBenét's murder was committed by someone she knew, police did turn their attention to Boulder resident Gary Oliva, who was a 32-year-old sex offender living nearby at the time of her death. After Oliva was arrested in 2000 on drug charges, he quickly became a suspect when police reportedly found a magazine cutout of JonBenét in his backpack. He was released after his DNA also failed to match the crime scene, but the Ramsey family's longtime private investigator, Ollie Gray, criticized the Boulder police for not looking at him more closely. Olvia's high school friend, Michael Vail, also came forward and claimed that Oliva confessed to him that he "hurt a little girl" not long after the murder.

We Weren't Expecting This Gordon Ramsay News - but We Love It!
Last year, Gordon Ramsay released a new mobile game with Glu Media, and today, the two entities have announced updates to the game. First off, it has been renamed Restaurant Dash with Gordon Ramsay! According to a press release, these changes come after the game generated a whopping $23.4 million in bookings. For comparison's sake, Kim Kardashian made about $20.4 million off of her Glu Media game in 2016, according to Forbes.
Because of the wild success of Gordon Ramsay's game, "Glu has doubled-down on the title and looks forward to its continued success." In addition to the new name, the game will feature a new logo, new hi-res graphics (including mean-mugs from Gordon), a streamlined user interface, and new world map navigation. The updates include more social features like the "ability to send and receive gifts/messages (from Flo and Gordon, too!), create and complete group goals, and share achievements." There's also a new venue; "players will serve brunch in front of a live audience in New Zealand's Waikato #JetSetter."
While I have yet to try the new, updated version of the game to report all of the changes, knowing Chef Ramsay and Glu Media, it's sure to be better than ever . . . and an even more addictive player experience with fresh, new Gordon insults. Chef Ramsay had this to say about the announcement: "It's been an incredible response since launching my mobile game last year, and just like my restaurants and television programs, we're constantly keeping concepts, menus, and TV content fresh and exciting. We're taking it to the next level with Restaurant DASH with Gordon Ramsay, expanding it to include a fantastic community of players. I can't wait for existing and new players alike to check it out!"
Lauren Conrad Says Goodbye to This Pacific Palisades Mansion - RIP, Epic Waterslide
You might remember Lauren Conrad from her glory days on Laguna Beach, but this California girl has come a long way since then, and her most recent real estate sale can attest to that. Lauren and her husband William Tell recently sold their Pacific Palisades, CA, mansion for $5 million. The couple purchased the home back in 2015 for $4.4 million, but it looks like Lauren revamped the 5,871-square-foot Spanish mansion with some of her impressive interior decorating skills.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home has been updated with a strikingly beautiful white paint job, giving the home the open, beachy feel we'd expect LC to create. If the massive master bathroom wasn't enough to convince the new buyers, maybe it was the circular dressing room with French doors that open up to a balcony. Keller Williams' Linda Ferrari and Main Beach Realty's Cary Glenn were responsible for the listing, which also boasted the swimming pool and waterslide.

Sen. Kamala Harris on Congressman's Tone-Deaf Healthcare Claim: "What the F*ck Is That?"
Senator Kamala Harris is not afraid to be blunt. The California lawmaker had some choice words about Idaho Rep. Raul Labrador's claim that "nobody dies" from lack of access to health care during her new interview on Pod Save America, a podcast started by former staffers of President Barack Obama.
"You might as well say, 'People don't starve because they don't have food,'" the California Senator said during the May 8 episode. "What the f*ck is that? What are you saying? How can you say that?"
Harris's remarks were hypercritical of the Congressman's mischaracterization of the proposed American Health Care Act, which would severely cut access to adequate health care and allow for the imposition of high premiums on people with preexisting conditions. As Harris pointed out, if people with preexisting conditions can no longer afford health insurance, they very well may die.
Following backlash against his outlandish claim, Representative Raul Labrador of Idaho walked back his comments. "I was responding to a false notion that the Republican health care plan will cause people to die in the streets, which I completely reject," Labrador wrote on Facebook.
Now that the ACHA has passed through the House, the Senate is expected to draft its own version of the bill. Speaking on the Democratic fight against the legislation, Harris told Pod Save America that lawmakers must speak the truth. "The truth is that these folks are playing politics with public health," Harris said. "The truth is that . . . if Republicans want people to lose their health care, then the Republicans needs to lose their jobs."
