This Is What Nars's New Orgasm Lipstick Looks Like on Diverse Skin Tones
Before there were viral Peach Palettes, there was Nars Orgasm blush. The shimmery pink-peach shade is probably the most famous blush - ever! - and it's known to look good on just about everyone. Plus, it gives you that post-romp "afterglow" look.
This Summer, the iconic shade is expanding its empire (there's already a multiuse stick, lip gloss, and liquid illuminator in the hue) to include liquid blush and a lipstick. Here, we're going to discuss the latter.
While Orgasm Lipstick doesn't launch until May 15 ($28), we got advance samples to test. The formula is just as creamy and nourishing as other Nars lipsticks, and it's decently longwear and pigmented.
But would it be like the sisterhood of the traveling lipstick and complement most complexions? Four POPSUGAR editors - with skin tones ranging from pale to dark - swiped on the shimmery peach-pink to see if it's as universally flattering as its sister powder blush. Keep reading for our reviews!

7 DIY Wedding Makeup Hacks to Ensure You Look Flawless on Your Big Day
So, you're engaged to the love of your life. Congratulations! Many will say that you've already done the hardest part (finding your spouse), but anyone who's attempted to plan a wedding knows that's not quite true. After all, falling down the Pinterest rabbit hole can be utterly exhausting. In particular, we find the makeup ideas to be overwhelming, often completely unrealistic to DIY, and far more dramatic than most brides would attempt for the most photographed day in their lives.
Makeup artist Tedrick LaMar of Butterfly Studio Salon, who works frequently with brides, agreed that wedding-day makeup can be tricky for many.
"Bridal [beauty] should always be the best version of yourself," he said. "Don't go oversculpting, leave that for the night out at the club. Your makeup should be classic and clean."
He noted that the mood of the wedding and your gown's design could (and should!) inspire your beauty style for the big day. For example, you might want a more ethereal look with an A-line gown, but someone wearing a fitted style might be after more chiseled features and high-drama eye makeup. But overall, "you should look polished and not exaggerated."
Hey, if your goal is to look like the best version of yourself, you can always try DIYing your wedding makeup. It may not be the route for everyone, but some brides will not only find the makeup application process soothing on this potentially stressful day, but also enjoy having 100-percent control.
Whether you're hiring a professional makeup artist or doing your own glam, makeup trials are key. LaMar advises that brides-to-be do a few test runs around three months before the main event so they can decide on the final look. Don't be afraid to experiment so you can get a sense of what you love, whether that's a red lip or lots of lashes.
Now that you're feeling empowered to be your own wedding makeup artist, read on! We worked with LaMar to come up with seven genius bridal beauty hacks. While a few of these tips are time-honored tricks (like making your eyes look bigger with a pale liner), others are total insider secrets (ever heard of "strategic mattifying?" We hadn't!). Ahead, you'll find some supercrafty hacks that will guarantee you look positively flawless as you float down the aisle.

The Heartbreaking Thing Prince William Told Diana After She Lost Her Title in the Divorce
Image Source: Getty / Anwar Hussein
When Prince Charles and Princess Diana ended their marriage in 1996, their oldest son, Prince William, was just 14 years old. At the time, he was a student at Eton College studying biology, art history, and geography and playing soccer and water polo. He hadn't yet begun his official royal duties or military career. For all intents and purposes, he was a normal teenager - besides, you know, the whole being king one day thing - and most normal teenagers are pretty bummed about their parents splitting up. But as second in line to the British throne, William recognized his (future) power and made a promise to his mother that is both incredibly adorable and incredibly heartbreaking.
Charles and Diana's divorce was finalized in August 1996, but some drama surrounding her royal title ensued. Queen Elizabeth II reportedly wanted to let Diana keep the style of her royal highness, but Charles was "adamant" that she give it up - instead, she was given the title Diana, Princess of Wales. The loss of the honorific separated Diana from the rest of the family in such a way that she had to curtsy to those that had it, including her own children. William is said to have comforted his mother after the loss of her title by saying, "Don't worry, Mummy, I will give it back to you one day when I am king."
Tragically, Diana was killed in a car crash just a little over a year after William made his touching vow to her. In the decades after her death, both he and his brother, Harry, have opened up about their mother, sharing stories about their time with her as well as honoring her impact, both with the charities they support and the traditions she's passed on to them.
Fashion Girls and Disney Fans Are Obsessing Over These Chic Minnie Mouse Heels
Many Disney fans can agree that there's a lack of subtle, chic fashion items that you can rock without looking like you're in line at the Magic Kingdom. But Italian accessory and shoe designer Oscar Tiye has created the shoe that has both fashion girls and Disney fans swooning.
The Minnie Mouse stiletto heels have been double tapped, pinned, saved, and tagged on Instagram, and it's easy to see why. The sleek, single-strap sandals look like your average heels, but spin them around and you'll see the signature Minnie Mouse ears on the back, making them far from average.
The heels range from $450 to $700 and come with either a block heel or stiletto. The fabric options include satin, glitter, and denim, with a stunning range of color options. Whether you've seen these shoes yet or not, you're going to want to splurge immediately. Keep reading to see photos of the Minnie heels and then shop your favorite pairs below.

10 Tips For Using Hot Rollers - According to Hair Pros
Image Source: StockSnap / Markus Spiske
Beachy waves are here to stay, but if you're not handy with a curling iron, don't worry. Consider hot rollers instead. These aren't your momma's hot rollers from the '80s. Today's rollers are super easy to use and give a big, bouncy wave plus tons of volume.
Hot rollers are more forgiving than a curling iron, and while you're waiting for the rollers to cool, you can move on to something else, such as applying makeup. There's a wide variety of rollers on the market, from basic ones from Remington ($20) or the pricier Chi rollers ($85).
To get the most out of your rollers, follow these top 10 tips from stylists.
- "Do not use rollers smaller than 1.5 inches in diameter for a more modern curl size. The larger, the better for softer waves." - Jill Engelsen, senior stylist at Butterfly Studio Salon in New York
- "Make sure that your hair is properly dry before you use the hot rollers. A good blow dry first will help the outside surface layer of the hair, the cuticle, to lay flat, which gives your finished look more volume, and the style should hold for longer. Use some lightweight styling serum for heat protection." - Vernon Francois hair care team
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Maria del Rio
- "I start wrapping the hot roller from midstrand. I feel if you start wrapping from ends they have a tendency to get too much curl. As I get to the bottom, I tuck the end of the strand around the roller, and I use the butterfly-looking clip to hold them in place." - Elvin Arvelo, owner of Oon Arvelo Salon in New York
- "Use a thermal protector before using the hot rollers. This will help hold the shape without stiffness. One of my favorites is the Kérastase Paris L'incroyable Blowdry ($40). I also suggest not using a ton of hairspray prior to wrapping them. Hairspray will cause the rollers to stick and make a huge mess." - Kérastase consulting hairstylist Matt Fugate
- "An easy way to apply rollers is to part your hair in a mohawk style. Create three large sections and apply rollers straight down the middle. Then proceed to add rollers to the sides." - Dark and Lovely style squad member Stephanie McLemore
- "If you want the hair to push away from the face, the roller should be rolled toward one's face. If you would like your hair to be wavy, roll toward your crown. And if you want a style that has no specific part, take your hair from both sides from where your hair normally parts and roll it on one roller." - Paul LeBreque, Paul LeBreque Salon, New York
- "If the hair gets too curly, run a flatiron through the strand quickly to release it a bit. Or just flatiron the ends." - Jill Engleson, senior stylist at Butterfly Studio Salon in New York
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Benjamin Stone
- "For the Marilyn Monroe look, place the hot rollers all over, rolling each piece away from your head, all back off the face. This will leave a more unstructured curl. Give a light spray, let cool, and wind off the hair. Flip hair upside down and brush out with a wide-tooth comb." - Melissa Peverini, Cricket Co. ambassador and celebrity stylist
- "Changing the direction of the wrap will help to create more natural/textured looking waves." - Temur of Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger salon in New York
- "Flip hair over and spray with any texture/beach spray. Shake hair well with your hands to break it up."- Temur of Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger salon in New York

In addition to these new ports of call, Disney has outlined even more perk-filled cruise opportunities from established ports like New York City:
Fall 2018 Disney Magic sailings from New York also include 7-night voyages to Walt Disney World Resort, Florida. 13 Ways to Refresh Your Florals For Spring
Remember the scene in The Devil Wears Prada where Miranda Priestly deadpans, "Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking"? While we don't necessarily agree with that statement 100 percent (hey, when better to wear colorful floral prints?), they can get a little repetitive and feel worn out. A great alternative to this dilemma? Vacation prints - think palm tree leaves, beachy stripes, and fun prints like flamingos.
Since vacations are meant to put you in a relaxed state of mind, we say your wardrobe should say the same thing, too. Leave the form-fitting dresses and flowery prints at home and update your wardrobe with these 13 pieces that say you're out of office, even if you're not actually lounging at a resort.
Unlock the Secrets to Landing a New Mentor
When you're starting out in the working world (or switching to a new career), the value of having a mentor cannot be overstated. Few people become successful without any support from anyone, and a more seasoned professional in your field can help you advocate for yourself, navigate situations you've never encountered, and make the right decisions for advancing your position.
Who should be my mentor?
In her book Power Your Happy, POPSUGAR founder and editor-in-chief Lisa Sugar suggests that your mentor could be your boss, "or it might be another higher-up in your department who understands you and supports you. Other people find mentors in family friends, former professors, or older, wiser women who don't even work in their industry."
How should I reach out to a possible mentor?
How do you contact a possible mentor without being annoying? It can feel intimidating, but the best way to get in touch is by sending a polite and friendly email. Hey, the worst that can happen is that nobody writes you back. Yet, as Lisa puts it, "there is a right way and wrong way to reach out to busy people, and your primary goal should be to not waste a second of anyone's time. Be friendly yet professional, check for errors before you hit SEND, be direct about what you're asking, and don't ramble."
What should I say?
According to Mandy Harris, POPSUGAR's managing editor (and a superb boss lady and mentor herself), here are the guidelines to keep in mind:
- If the potential mentor is someone you haven't met before, clearly explain the connection. Also add how you received their contact info and why you're reaching out. Whether you have a mutual acquaintance or you just found them on LinkedIn, context is important in getting them to reply.
- Try to arrange an in-person meeting before you make your full mentorship pitch. A potential mentor is much more likely to want to invest time in you if you've begun to build a connection with them and can make your case in person.
- Keep your requests reasonable, and try to make it as easy on your possible mentor as you can. Suggest a meeting at or near the mentor's office, give multiple times to choose from, and specify how long you think the meeting will take.
- Express interest in the mentor's field in your initial email. Emails asking me for a nebulous "informational interview" fill me with dread; emails that describe an authentic passion for writing, editing, and a career in digital media are much more likely to get a response from me.
- Be clear that you're asking for a mentorship, not a job. Oftentimes, job-seekers use a "mentorship" or "informational interview" approach to get their foot in the door. That's not always a bad thing, but if an employer isn't currently looking to hire, it can be a turnoff. Be explicit about the fact that you're looking for coaching, guidance, and yes, a connection, but not an immediate job offer.
Katy Perry Has a Message For Everyone, Including Taylor Swift: "Don't Come For Me"
It's no secret that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift aren't the best of friends. The two have had a rumored feud for years, and things came to a head in 2014 when Taylor released her song "Bad Blood," which she later hinted to Rolling Stone was about Katy. Since then, Katy's fans have been anxiously waiting for her reply to come in the form of a song, but so far there's been nothing. And Katy recently told Entertainment Weekly that that's not about to change. When asked by the magazine if she thinks the song is indeed about her, she said, "Well, that's not my question to answer - if it's about me. I think [my new album] is a very empowered record. There is no one thing that's calling out any one person."
The "Bon Appétit" singer may not be planning any revenge tracks right now, but she also made it clear that nobody should mistake that silence for not saying anything at all. "One thing to note is: You can't mistake kindness for weakness and don't come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone," she continued. "And that's not to any one person and don't quote me that it is, because it's not. It's not about that. Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period, end of story. But let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence, so don't forget about that, OK, honey. We got to keep it real, honey. This record is not about anyone else! This record is about me being seen and heard so that I can see and hear everyone else! It's not even about me! It's about everything that I see out there that I digest. I think there's a healing in it for me and vulnerability. If people want to connect and be healed and feel vulnerable and feel empowered and strong, God bless and here it is."

You Don't Get to Keep the Furniture - and 6 Other Shocking Revelations About Being on Fixer Upper
As avid fans of Fixer Upper as we are, our knowledge of the show is limited to what we see on TV. We have no idea what it's actually like to be cast on the show and have Chip and Joanna Gaines renovate our Waco, TX, dream home. Luckily, the star of season three episode "A Big Fix For a House in the Woods" shared her story with POPSUGAR Select blogger Rachel Teodoro of Holy Craft.
Check out the seven things we were shocked to learn from her below, and for even more unprecedented insight into what it's really like to be on Fixer Upper, head to Holy Craft, where you can read the complete interview.

Casting Moves Fast
This cast member applied to HGTV one day and received a call from the casting agency the very next. "After that it was a quick, big, exciting blur," she told Holy Craft of the fast-paced process.
You Don't Get to Keep the Furniture
The gorgeous Magnolia Market finds Joanna fills the house with are actually just there on loan to stage the house for the big reveal. While the furniture is not included in the makeover, the homeowners can buy any pieces they want to keep - but at that point the budget is usually pretty tapped.
Chip Is Seriously Goofy
Watch any clip of the show and it's obvious that Chip isn't a serious guy, but we didn't realize that his silly personality played nonstop in real life. He kept this season three cast member and her husband laughing the entire time they filmed, giving producers ample material to choose from.
They Make Over the Entire House
Since we only see the "after" shots from a few spectacularly renovated and staged rooms on the show, we figured that these were the only rooms Chip and Joanna lent their magic to - but we're happy to be wrong. This cast member said every room in her house was addressed, but those not featured on the show were given more basic cosmetic upgrades, such as fresh paint, carpeting, and fixtures.
Joanna Is Quiet in the Best Way
Compared to Chip's outgoing personality, Joanna can come off as downright reserved in real life - but it's because her brain is constantly churning and plotting brilliant design ideas. And when she does speak, she's very thoughtful. "I was in awe of her during our real estate filming day because she was constantly thinking about different cool things about each house," the cast member told Holy Craft.
Makeovers Are High Quality
Call us pessimists, but we often assume that reality TV shows do the bare minimum amount of work required to make a home look good on camera. Not Fixer Upper - Jamie said her makeovers extended far beyond the surface and what we saw on the show. "There is not a door in my house that isn't surrounded in beautiful thick wood trim casing. They just finish out the entire project, parts you don't see on the show, to a tee," the cast member said.
You Don't Actually Become Best Friends
Joanna and Chip seem to become fast friends with everyone on the show - perhaps it's because they're all residents of close-knit Waco - and while they're super friendly in real life, it's still business and highly unlikely that they'll be inviting you over for a dinner party after filming wraps. "I think life is pretty busy for them with all this newfound success and adventures, and their first priority is obviously their family," the cast member explained.
So what does the house look like after the HGTV cameras (and the borrowed furniture) have left? See the before-and-after pictures of this cast member's house on Holy Craft.

This Pearlescent Hair Trend Will Make You Shout "Mother of Pearl!"
These days, pearls aren't just for engagement rings - they're also for inspiring majorly gorgeous beauty looks! Pearl hair has taken over Instagram and dominated Pinterest hairspiration boards, capturing hearts of beauty babes aiming for an under-the-sea hair hue.
The defining characteristics of this color trend are a supershiny pearlescent effect and cool, multidimensional blond tones, but otherwise the fad is very much up to individual interpretation. Just like pearls themselves range in color, this look ranges from platinum, silvery blonds with a pearly sheen to mother-of-pearl rainbow hues . . . and just like highly prized gems themselves, the color trend is friggin' beautiful.
Kate Reid, renowned colorist and design director for Kevin Murphy's Color.Me, told POPSUGAR that the journey to achieving truly pearlescent hair is not a quick one. "It's a slow process to create pearliest hair well," said Reid. "It's a long-term commitment to have this color, not a quick fix." In order to achieve the trend, Reid suggests bringing your stylist photos of the shades that appeal to you and discussing the process.
"Treat your hair like a silk dress, always handling it delicately."
Because pearl hair requires megalight blond hair without any warmth, walking away from the salon with your ideal pearlescent shade after a single visit isn't likely for most people - but according to Reid, clients should be able to work with colorists to create a maintenance program specifically designed for your hair's needs to maintain and brighten your color. She also says that healthy, well-conditioned hair is a necessity when going pearly. "It reflects light better and creates luminous shine," Reid noted.
And according to Reid, at-home maintenance is just as important as the salon service itself. "Treat your hair like a silk dress, always handling it delicately and following the care steps recommended by the hairdresser," she advised, suggesting a purple color-enhancing shampoo like Kevin Murphy's Blonde Angel to prevent any warmth from appearing in pearl hair. Reid also advised using heat protection when styling, as heat can damage strands and fade color.
So, who can pull off this hair hue? According to the following photos from real Instagram users, just about anybody! Pearl hair especially complements cooler skin tones, observes Reid, but because the hair trend is so varied, it can be executed in a wide range of ways. Read on to see several stunning iterations of pearl hair, then head to your colorist stat to get started on the process.
An Exclusive First Look at Tarte Clay Play Palette Featuring 12 New Contour Shades
Match point: Tarte. You can thank the brand - known for creating natural beauty products before "organic" was a buzz word - for making your dream Summer palette. We're excited to exclusively break the details about Tarte's Clay Play Face Shaping Palette (launching on tartecosmetics.com on May 21 for $46).
This is truly the ideal palette for you - and everyone in your Summer share house. Clay Play contains 12 new shades, which can be used universally on brows, eyelids, cheeks, nose, and for the overall complexion. There are nine neutral-to-smoky matte eye shadows that can be intensified or sheered out. Dunes and Smoke will likely work on most brows, while Journey can be the base of your trendy pink eye look, and Solstice is one of those dream highlighters. Three big tins of contour powders cater to a bevy of skin tones. Expect the same creamy, silky powder textures and long-wear capabilities the brand is known for.
What makes this palette extra special is that the powders are all infused with Amazonian clay. The ingredient helps to remove surface oil while hydrating cells (basically, it's balancing!), so it actually makes your skin better while you wear it.
Plus, how chic is that tortoiseshell packaging? Expect more Amazonian-clay-infused launches coming this Summer.
A Celebrity Stylist Reveals How to Get the Best Beach Waves of Your Life This Summer
For most, when they hear the words "effortlessly sexy hair," beach waves come to mind. But unless you're particularly handy with hot tools (or just blessed with perfectly tousled texture), achieving that look is not quite as simple as it looks.
There are a couple of issues at play here. If you have straight hair, you might relate to our eternal struggle to appear as if we just stepped off a boardwalk rather than looking like a sea witch. And even if you have exactly the right curls naturally, you could still be screwed over at the salon. No matter where you go, practically every stylist has a different definition of beach waves (and god help you if you don't bring a celebrity photo for reference). You never know if you'll hit the jackpot or end up looking far more matronly than marvelous.
To ensure you end up with exactly the sexy, lived-in look you're craving, we consulted Chris Appleton, Color Wow ambassador and the mane man of Kim Kardashian, Jourdan Dunn, and more celebrities. He outlined four different types of hair textures and revealed exactly how they should be styled (step by step!) for beach waves. Not only that, but he also provided the lingo women need to say while in the salon chair to get the stylish strands of their dreams. Read on!

Rise of the veggie snack pack: How marketers are selling fresh produce to kids

Harry Styles Gets Flustered When Asked About Taylor Swift: "Help Me!"
We just HAD to ask who 'Two Ghosts' was about *cough* taylorswift *cough* 👻 💘
Listen 👉 https://t.co/48RuyAdouO #HarryStylesListeningParty http://pic.twitter.com/dZfv2uRtKI- BBC Radio 1 (@BBCR1) May 12, 2017
Harry Styles is in the midst of his promotional tour for his debut solo album, but not every interview is focused only on him. Since his dedicated fans have been obsessing over which songs are about his infamous and short-lived romance with Taylor Swift (even going as far as to zoom in on videos of lyrics), Harry was asked about "Two Ghosts" when he stopped by BBC Radio 1 on Friday. After host Nick Grimshaw told Harry he was doing him a favor and getting the question out of the way, the "Sign of the Times" singer got visibly flustered before looking into the other room at his team. "Help me, Jeffrey!" he hilariously said. He then sucked it up to answer but ended up giving an incredibly confusing answer. "I think, you know, it's about . . . sometimes things change," he continued. "You can be, do all the same things, and sometimes it's just different." Wait, what?

This '90s Trend With Ancient Mayan Roots Is Primed For a Huge Comeback
At the 2017 Met Gala, Hailey Baldwin flashed a cocky smile to reveal two sparkling gems affixed to her teeth. A picture of the moment promptly garnered over 400,000 "likes" and launched a series of conjectures about tooth gems being the next big cosmetic trend. Just a few months before, Katy Perry sported a tiny gold gem in the shape of the Nike logo. As these things go, tooth gems are not new. In fact, they're ancient.
According to National Geographic, inhabitants of ancient Mesoamerica accessorized their teeth with semiprecious gems. A centuries-old skull found in Chiapas, Mexico, even had teeth gems worn in a manner not unlike our own contemporary version.
Centuries later, tooth gems resurfaced with the popularization of grills in the hip-hop scene of the 1980s. Grills maintained their popularity well into the new millennium thanks in part to the 2005 Nelly song "Grillz."
Recently, many celebrities and fashion influencers have gotten their gems implanted by Tooth Kandy, a Los Angeles-based shop. According to the Tooth Kandy website, gems typically last anywhere from six months to two years depending on the type of gem used. Gems are attached to the enamel using a semipermanent adhesive. Dentists have, however, expressed their concerns for how gems might affect the enamel.
Ahead, see how people are wearing the trend in its latest iteration.

This Impossibly Chic Fragrance Line Is the Best-Kept Secret of Kate Middleton and Other Royals
I love a good secret, but I find beauty secrets particularly invigorating. Celebrity makeup preferences divulged by artists, intel on undetectable lash extensions, and A-list-approved dermatologist recommendations are all facts that I collect and hoard like a magpie. That's why I was completely bowled over when I discovered iconic fragrance brand Krigler - how had I never heard of it before?
Krigler started in 1879 when brand founder Albert Krigler mixed up his first scent, Pleasure Gardenia 79, as a gift for his fiancée. In 1904, he opened his first shop, and by 1931, when the company opened its first American outpost in New York City's Plaza Hotel, it had already become a favorite of celebrities, politicians, and royalty around the world.
For example, John F. Kennedy wore the brand's America One 31, a blue-tinted cologne with notes of vetiver, mandarin, and cedar that smells powerful but not overwhelming. (According to Ben Krigler, the brand's fifth-generation owner and perfumer, fraternities at Ivy League universities provide bottles of this scent to their members on graduation day.) The delicate white floral English Promenade 19 was Audrey Hepburn's favorite fragrance. And Grace Kelly's signature scent, Chateau Krigler 12, is an elegant concoction of rose, mimosa, and lily of the valley. Need even more name dropping? One of its most noteworthy current fans is Kate Middleton (who loves Extraordinaire Camelia 209); the current royals of Monaco are as well.
One of its most noteworthy current fans is Kate Middleton, who loves Extraordinaire Camelia 209.
The brand is still producing new scents to this day, using the same meticulous blending methods and high-quality ingredients that made its products so beloved. This year, Krigler is reintroducing Subtle Orchid 10, a scent originally developed in 1910 that blends the sweet scents of a patisserie with the heady aroma of a flower shop. Vanilla-lovers will covet this one, as a true baker's vanilla anchors other notes of patchouli, coffee, and blossoms.
It was hard to pick a favorite from Krigler's hundreds of legendary perfumes, and I didn't - it picked me. I've never been inclined to wear a male fragrance before and have typically only worn white florals or citrusy scents, which is why I was shocked that I was immediately captivated by Oud For Highness 75. This was originally a bespoke fragrance made for King Hussein of Jordan in 1975. After he passed away, the Jordanian royal family allowed Krigler to add it to its permanent collection.
It's warm, woodsy, and covertly sensual, with a zippy top note of bergamot that opens into lush patchouli, rose, and (of course) oud wood. There's a subtle sweetness from honey with a spicy heat from saffron. It's the kind of fragrance that makes me feel like a grown - but not overly mature - woman who can take on the world, just like royalty.
My new obsession will end up being a pricey one, as a 1.7-ounce bottle will run me back $425. But it seems reasonable to me that being a part of one of the beauty industry's best-kept secrets should come at a cost. Luckily, you can snag samples of Krigler's legendary fragrances for a fraction of the cost of a larger bottle on the brand's website. And, if you're lucky enough to live near The Plaza, I highly recommend you stop into the company's atelier, just like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn did. Beauty shopping doesn't get much chicer than that.
26 Adorable Beauty Products to Pick Up on Your Next Forever 21 Trip
You probably already head to Forever 21 when you want affordable and on-trend clothes, but you might be neglecting one of the best areas of the store: the beauty section. The fast-fashion retailer has been seriously upping its beauty game in recent years, adding sheet masks, K-beauty products, and affordable brands that you already love (like NYX and E.L.F.!) to its selection.
Recently, there have even been rumors of the chain considering opening free-standing beauty stores, solidifying the brand's foray into beauty girls' hearts. Next time you're heading to your favorite store, don't overlook the goodies ahead.
This Wonder Woman Makeup Line Will Turn You Into an Amazonian Princess
I'm currently sitting in a pool of my own tears because I am unable to easily acquire yet another amazing K-beauty collaboration, this time with my favorite superhero: Wonder Woman.
When the MAC Cosmetics Wonder Woman collection came out back in 2011, I was a broke college student, unable to justify spending money on a luxury beauty brand. That's what makes the news of the Missha x Wonder Woman line so heartbreaking . . . it seems my dreams of uniting my passions of makeup and comic book heroes will be impossible to achieve.
That's because this collection wasn't released in the United States. Had I been privy to the knowledge of the Missha line earlier, I might have been able to snag it on eBay or Amazon for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I missed out, again. The assortment included a plethora of patriotic products including cushion compacts, a huge selection of nail polish, mascaras, two eye shadow palettes, and more. It was a line I would have immediately added to my massive beauty stash, had I only known before it was too late. Luckily, I have the following photos to remember them by.
If you'd like to share in my grief, read on to see the kickass products.

The 1 Popular Beauty Product That Could Be Ruining Your Skin
In recent years, oil cleansing has surged in popularity, with many acting as if it is the holy grail of skin care techniques. To be fair, washing one's face with oil can have incredible benefits, including a hydrated complexion, a reduction in (or total disappearance of) blemishes, and a lit-from-within glow. But according to Kazumi Toyama, global SK-II senior manager of technical marketing and scientific communications, cleansing oil is not necessarily the cure-all method many believe it to be.
"Cleansing oil is very good at removing lots of oil," she explained. "But it's not so good for the skin." Kazumi found that in her research of Japanese consumers, women were not properly using this type of cleanser and were completely stripping their complexions of all natural oils. "The way they are using the cleansing oil, it's like, 'Oh, no, no, no.' It dries out the skin."
That's because the very mechanism that makes this type of cleanser so effective also makes it potentially harmful. Think back to your high school chemistry class. Do you remember learning about solubility, or "like dissolves like"? Oil and water do not mix (think of a bottle of salad dressing), but two kinds of oil will easily mix, which is what happens when you're applying cleansing oil to your face.
The specially designed product dissolves sebum and then emulsifies so it's easy to remove with water. However, if your face feels dry and tight after oil cleansing, you've overdone it. Not only will removing all that moisture from your skin dry it out (duh!), but it will also make your complexion look dull, sallow, and wrinkly, and can even cause breakouts.
If you're a new convert to oil cleansing, let your skin be your guide. A formula specially designed for this, like SK-II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil ($70) (vs. DIY with carrier and essential oils), should not leave you with a sensitive or stripped sensation. Use three pumps of product to start with and massage it into dry skin using circular motions. You will see the texture transform from an oil to a milk - after it's fully emulsified, rinse your face with water. At this point, your complexion should feel soft and dewy, never squeaky clean (if your face feels a bit tight, use less next time you cleanse).
It's essential that you finish your cleansing ritual by adding additional "good" hydration to your skin via an essence or moisturizer. This will ensure that your complexion doesn't dry out or retaliate by overproducing sebum. Shop the best cleansing oils for your skin type here, then learn about why you should try an essence.

Women With Clear Skin Always Eat These 6 Foods - and Avoid These 2
We've gone to great lengths to discuss how what you eat effects your skin. Be it for a supple, glowing, or overall healthy looking palette, you can be sure we've catered our grocery lists to it. And yet, every so often, an acne outbreak still rears its head. Sure, you could reach for one of many superior spot treatments, but the frustration of having to face an unsightly pimple in the first place is . . . well, frustrating.
If you're like us (and we're betting you are), you've studied every acne face map on the web to no avail. Worry not. We tapped Dr. Helen Knaggs, PhD., vice president of research and development at Nu Skin, for answers. "Skin is your body's largest organ. Just like any of your other organs, its health is dependent on what is taken into the body to provide it with the needed nutrients to function properly."
With 20 years of experience in skin care (including a background in skin and hair biology, biochemisty, and pharmacology), we'd all be smart to heed her clear skin advice.
Is Forever 21 Opening a Beauty Boutique? All Signs Point to "Yes"
In recent years, Forever 21 has noticeably expanded its beauty section, as well as its own cosmetics line. Not only has the retail giant has taken in widely known brands like NYX and Sun Bum, but it's also appealed to millennial shoppers with its impressive K-beauty selections. Now, Forever 21 is reportedly considering opening a chain of standalone beauty boutiques.
According to market sources who spoke with WWD, Forever 21 is in the early stages of planning a beauty boutique chain called Riley Rose. Much like its parent retailer, Riley Rose will likely have a bubbly Instagram-friendly aesthetic tailored for younger shoppers. It's also been reported that Forever 21 will open 10 Riley Rose locations nationwide by the holidays. If it ends up being successful, they might then open an additional 10 stores by the Spring of 2018.
The exciting news comes shortly after the rumor that Anthropologie would be opening a freestanding beauty boutique. In a statement to WWD, an Anthropologie spokesperson clarified that the store will be expanding its beauty range, however, it does not have existing plans for a beauty store. Forever 21 has yet to officially address the report. Stay tuned for updates on Riley Rose as they become available.
1 Woman Gave Up Washing Her Face For 6 Months - and Her Skin Transformation Is Astounding
We've been using the magical potion that is micellar water for a few years now, but thanks to one Redditor, we now know just how magical the stuff is. Reddit user mollsballsss posted to the SkincareAddiction subreddit to share before and after photos of her skin, showing how it's been transformed by using exclusively micellar water to cleanse her face.
"In the past year, I found this subreddit and have tried to follow some of the recommendations," she said. She explained that she's been on Accutane twice, which has lead to some seriously dry skin. "In one post, someone mentioned not washing his/her face, and for some reason, that jumped out at me to try." She added, "I haven't put facial soap on my face for six months and it has made a HUGE difference."
The Redditor shared her full skin care regimen, which is extremely simple and consists of just SPF in the morning and moisturizer at night, rinsing her face with a splash of lukewarm water and Garnier Micellar Water ($9).
While some may be horrified by the distinct lack of cleanser in this routine, micellar water is actually an excellent substitute for face wash. In a past interview about this liquid miracle, dermatologist Dr. Macrene Alexiades told POPSUGAR it contains small molecules called micelles, which are "nano-sized, single-layer fatty bubbles." Dr. Alexiades explained, "They are able to absorb other fats such as sebum and oils inside."
It's similar to using a cleansing oil: lipids bind to other lipids (in this case, micelles and sebum) to leave your complexion clean. Additionally, most micellar waters do not contain surfactants. These are cleansing agents that often include sulfates, which can aggressively strip the skin. So, you're replacing what could be harsh, drying soap with a gentle, soap-free cleanse. Even better, you don't need to rinse anything away - just add a few drops of micellar water to a tissue, wipe your face, and then you're done.
While replacing your face wash with micellar water might not be the best thing for your complexion (every face is different!), mollsballsss's results are inspiring enough to give this skin care switch-up a try.

These "Pac-Manicures" Are Here to Take You on a Trip Down Memory Lane
When it comes to beauty trends, nostalgia reigns supreme in our books. So of course, we were practically swooning upon discovering the gloriousness that is Pac-Man nail art. The cult video game is one of the the hallmarks of '80s and '90s pop culture, and just thinking about it instantly gives me flashbacks to childhood birthday parties spent with my eyes glued to the arcade game screen, attempting to avoid those pesky multicolored ghosts.
As an ode to the dot-eating, maze-navigating main character, many nail artists have started decorating their manicures - or shall we say Pac-Manicures - with impressively-detailed renditions of the video game. Some opt for simply painting one character on each nail, while others somehow manage to paint intricate renderings of the game - zig-zagging maze lines, tiny dots, and all! Just looking at these nails is like a stroll down memory lane.
Ahead, watch a video tutorial to learn how to master this trend, and scroll on to see how Pac-Man enthusiasts everywhere are channeling the throwback vibes with their cute nail art.
Surprise! Arrested Development Season 5 Is Coming to Netflix
Given how difficult it seemed to finally get a fourth season of Arrested Development, I wouldn't blame you for being skeptical about any and all news about a possible fifth season. But believe the hype - it's actually happening! Months after Jeffrey Tambor said he was supposed to go back to work on a fifth season in January 2017, Jason Bateman has tweeted confirmation that he has signed on for a new batch of episodes.
Look very probable I'm going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today.
- Jason Bateman (@batemanjason) May 12, 2017
Yesss. According to The Hollywood Reporter, creator Mitch Hurwitz signed a new deal with Netflix several weeks ago. Stay tuned for more news!
