You'll Want Wonder Woman's Powerful Theme Song on Your Gym Playlist ASAP

While watching Wonder Woman, you'll probably come away with a lot of thoughts - "holy sh*t, that was good," likely being chief among them - but there was one thing I couldn't get out of my head: Diana's intense theme song. Anytime the Princess of the Amazons was about to kick some serious ass, a powerful, familiar cello song would play. It's the same basic theme Hans Zimmer composed for Wonder Woman's action scene in Batman v Superman, called "Is She With You," only this time it's gotten a metal makeover from Tina Guo.

As io9 recently pointed out, Guo is a classically trained musician and electric cellist, who also plays bass and guitar (she even performed with the Foo Fighters at the 2008 Grammy Awards). She and Zimmer worked together to develop the initial theme, and now her solo version can be heard in full as Gal Gadot takes down enemy after enemy in the new film. Listen to the finished product above, and check out Guo in action below!

How Prince Rainier Convinced Grace Kelly to Give Up Her Movie Career to Become a Princess

Fairy tales might not be real, but Grace Kelly came as close as a person can to truly living one. The Rear Window actress, who grew up in an affluent Philadelphia family, ended up leaving behind her booming Hollywood film career to marry a real-life royal, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, after a whirlwind year of courtship. So, how did Grace meet Prince Rainier, exactly? Well, there likely never would have been a connection between the two without the Cannes Film Festival.

Ahead of the glamorous annual movie event in 1955, biographers have claimed that Prince Rainier was looking for an American wife specifically. Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis allegedly suggested he marry Marilyn Monroe, who was apparently keen on the match herself, but the prince rejected the idea since he didn't find her public image dignified enough for his family (though it has never been confirmed). Grace happened to be attending Cannes that year to promote To Catch a Thief, and her refinement and poise clearly caught Prince Rainier's eye. Grace was persuaded by the director of Paris Match magazine, Pierre Galante, to participate in a staged photo op with the prince, since it would give both parties a great deal of press and provide the royal an opportunity to meet her in person.

Photographer Edward Quinn recounted the story of shooting the pair on the day they first met before his death in 1997. "When Prince Rainier arrived, Grace Kelly gave that kind of very discreet American bow, bending her knee, and they shook hands," he said. "When Grace left, [she] said to everybody, 'He is a very charming man,' and that was the end of it for the time being." Despite the semi-awkwardness of their first "date," the prince's priest, Father Tucker, took it upon himself to work as matchmaker. He sent Grace a letter thanking her "for showing the prince what an American Catholic girl can be and for the deep impression this has left on him." The ensuing courtship happened lightning fast.

On the morning of January 6, 1956, Monaco's Minister of State announced the couple's engagement from Grimaldi Palace. On the same day, Grace and her future husband participated in a press conference held in her family's Philadelphia home (pictured above), that was attended by over 50 eager journalists. The event was reportedly a madhouse, with some photographers standing on the Kelly family's piano to get a good angle of Grace and the Prince. The rabid media attention wasn't all positive, either. Some viewed Grace's choice to marry a European monarch rather than an American as a betrayal, of sorts. Daily News columnist Phil Santora complained that Grace had "been enshrined as a sort of all-American girl who would someday marry the all-American boy and raise a crop of quarterbacks for Yale or Notre Dame," and that the prince was "not good enough" for her. Their bond remained strong throughout it all, and the two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony that was dubbed by press at the time as "the Wedding of the Century."

Their marriage took place one week after she finished filming High Society in 1956, which would be her last movie role. Her studio, MGM, was loathe to let her go, but they made the most of it by turning the wedding into a full-fledged production. Every aspect of the day was filmed, and they even flew in their top costume designer, Helen Rose, to help create Grace's elaborate, iconic ivory dress. Grace read her vows in French as a nod to her new home, and the couple left the church in the back of a custom-made cream and black Rolls Royce before heading off on their honeymoon in the Mediterranean.

Since being an actress was considered unseemly for a member of the royal family, Grace retired and dove into her new role as Princess of Monaco. She and the prince welcomed three children, Caroline, Albert II, and Stéphanie, and shared plenty of sweet moments together over the course of their 26-year marriage before her tragic death in a car accident in 1982. Prince Albert II carries on his family's legacy as the current leader of Monaco, alongside wife Princess Charlene and their 2-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Exclusive First Reveal of Huda Kattan's 12 Lip Strobe Metallic Glosses

In the midst of an over-saturated, holographic beauty world, Huda Kattan managed to launch a collection of metallic strobing lip gloss collection that feels fresh. The entrepreneur and Instagram star looked for inspiration from both the past and the future when she developed her Lip Strobes, a 12-shade range launching mid June ($18 each, shophudabeauty.com). The hues play into both the frosty shades of the '90s and iridescent unicorn-inspired products of 2017.

"Right now people are obsessed with things that seem out of this world and give them some type of surprise," she told POPSUGAR via email. "The idea of something iridescent or duo chromatic seems a little mysterious and unique. They are kind of super '90s meets the future."

The colors may play into the existing trend, but each feels unique. There are both sheer and full-coverage shimmer formulas. Expect a range that varies from Enchanted, a pale pink with a pearlescent finish, to Fearless, a sparkly pigmented fuchsia.

"I am obsessed with duo chromes and iridescence right now!" she said of how the concept was born. "We were inspired when we were creating our Melted Strobe for our 3D Highlighters. We were just playing with shimmers and glitters and somehow this was created."

Huda went on: "For the colors we wanted something that would almost change in some lights or on top of certain colors. All of the glosses have serious shimmer, some are opaque and full of pigment and shine, while others are duo chromatic and iridescent."

The vlogger admitted she is not always a fan of lip glosses, so she was extra careful when crafting these. Don't expect the sticky, goopy ones you actually wore back when *NSYNC was together. "I hate gloss, and I am super fussy with what I wear," she said. "This feels so luxurious and hydrating while wearing. It's not sticky and the strobes feel super comfortable on the lips."

"I hate gloss, and I am super fussy with what I wear. This feels so luxurious and hydrating."

She even perfected the applicator to enhance the cozy wearability. "The strobes also have a precision, heart-shaped wand which glides on an even coat for a luminous finish giving you an extra smooth application," she added.

When it came to naming, she simply picked adjectives that would cater to your moods. "The names were inspired by our Liquid Mattes - we thought of it as the next step to your pout," Huda explained. "So we thought we would make it a way to describe the personality behind the Liquid Matte. So you could be a Ritzy (Lip Strobe) Trophy Wife (Liquid Matte), or a Shameless (Lip Strobe) Trendsetter (Liquid Matte) and really feel something towards the look you floss."

Though we knew it would be like choosing between children, we asked which color is her favorite. "This is so hard but I'd have to say that I am obsessed with Snobby," Huda revealed. "It's one of the shades which took the longest to create, and I'd bathe in it if I could! It's a semi-sheer pink shade with gold and pink big shimmers!"

According to Huda, the best way to wear the Lip Strobe is to glide it across your pout, and then take some off with a tissue. "You can remove the gloss by blotting off the excess, which will leave you with a glistening shimmer without the gloss." She also recommends layering it on thoroughly for an intensely pigmented, shiny style, or dabbing it in just the center of your pout for a subtle contoured effect.

Huda even tried wearing them on her eyelids, which she teased on social media! "I never realized this would work so well until a day before our campaign shoot!" she enthused. "They look ahhhmazing on the lids, and you can wear them on top of a shadow or just as is. For easy application, a small flat brush works nicely or even your fingers will do the trick. I would only recommend adding a small amount and for short periods, since it is a gloss and will move around." Basically: do it for Instagram, and then wash it off before you attend a rooftop soiree in the heat.

Before you worry about removing these buzzy lipsticks, start planning how you'll get your hands on them when they launch on Monday! And as you count down the minutes until you can hit "add to cart," see every shade and swatch - exclusively here first!

Can You Spot the Kid Drowning in This Public Pool Before the Lifeguard Does?

A day at the pool isn't all fun and games - and no one knows that better than the lifeguard.

Drowning can happen in the blink of an eye and even when people are within arm's reach of the victim. As much as we think we might notice someone struggling in the water, drowning is often a silent killer.

Thankfully, in this real-life video taken at a public wave pool, a boy is spotted drowning within seconds by a resourceful lifeguard - likely well before anyone watching this footage, even knowing what to search for, could spot him.

The lifeguard sounds her whistle, swims out to the boy who lost hold of his floating ring, and carries him to safety.

One important factor to note is that this video includes sound, but you never hear the boy's cries for help. That's because when someone is drowning, contrary to what many assume, they can't call out - there isn't time to inhale or exhale. Often, they aren't able to wave their arms, which was a lucky ability for the child at this particular pool.

So can you find him?

I Finally Gave Mom Jeans a Try, and I Have to Admit, I Didn't Hate Them

Like most people, I basically live in jeans. From skinny jeans to ankle-length baby blues, I pride myself on trying (and loving) all styles except one: mom jeans. With its superhigh waist, loose crotch, and tapered legs, this style just never seemed that appealing to me. First of all, I have hips, so I tend to stick to jeans that I know will look good on my body, and second, they're called "mom jeans" - not exactly the most compelling selling point.

But since the '90s are making a comeback and countless fashion girls can't get enough of them, I figured what the heck, let's give this trend a try. (Worst-case scenario, I'll just tell everyone I was trying to reenact the infamous SNL skit where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler prance around in hilariously bad jeans.) So, with this mission in mind, I slipped into a pair of vintage-hued DSTLD Mom Jeans ($105) to see what all the hype was about.

Much to my surprise, when I wore the jeans, I realized there's nothing really "mom-like" about this style. Contrary to popular belief, these high-waisted jeans didn't make me look frumpy or give me a flat butt. In fact, the stretchy texture hugged my curves perfectly, while the rips around the knees made the style look less outdated. Since I'm not a fan of tapered-leg jeans, I cuffed the bottoms to give them a more contemporary feel. Scroll on to see how I styled the jeans for three different occasions: everyday wear, brunch, and date night.

Grool! The Mean Girls Burn Book Palette Is Becoming a Reality

Storybook Cosmetics has teased some particularly magical collaborations in the past, like its Wizard Wand and Rose makeup brushes, and the upcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory palette. The enchanted brand's most recent announcement, though, is pretty "grool": the line is officially launching a Mean Girls Burn Book Eye Shadow Palette this Fall.

If you're a longtime fan of Storybook Cosmetics, your breasts didn't have to sense this collaboration was on its way, because it was among one of the first ideas they posted on Storybook's Instagram account. (And has since been deleted.)

"We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Paramount Licensing on Mean Girls," said Missy Maynard, cofounder of the brand. "We're total Mean Girls fanatics, and this eye shadow palette is one of the first palettes we dreamed up! When we secured licensing for it we were ecstatic!"

There will be 12 shades available in the palette, although exact names and colors haven't been divulged yet. When we originally covered the idea back in October, the concept was an eight-pan palette, featuring shadows inspired by quotes in the movie, like green and blue shadows named "Army Pants" and "Flip Flops." Other names included at the time: "Glen Coco," "You Can't Sit With Us," "So Fetch," and the pink "Wednesday." It's cool to see that Storybook's idea is finally becoming a reality with an even bigger palette than initially imagined!

While we don't have photos or names just yet, one thing's for sure: you'll get your own Burn Book replica filled with pigmented shadows. And there has to be a few shades of pink involved, right? How cool would it be if it came with a feathered pen-inspired eye shadow brush? Fingers crossed it drops on October 3.

We'll keep you updated when we learn more, so stay tuned!

Witness the Exact Moment a Mom's Dying Wish Was Fulfilled at Her Daughter's Wedding

St. Mary's Hospital recently granted one woman's dying wish by organizing a special garden wedding ceremony so that she could witness her daughter getting married. Debbie Nelson from Madison, WI, was diagnosed with terminal cancer and told the local news station that she arrived at the hospital feeling "very sick, but knowing that I had one goal. And that is to see my daughter get married."

Debbie said she "never expected" the surprise wedding to happen as quickly as it did. All it took was 24 hours for the staff and volunteers to transform the hospital's healing garden into a gorgeous wedding venue for her daughter, Melissa.

"Unbelievably happy and thankful for everything that everybody did in one day. I'm just kind of blown away," Melissa said after tying the knot with her husband. "People came from everywhere and offered to help and made this, like, one of the best days of my entire life," Debbie added. Watch the emotional video above to witness the beautiful moment Debbie got to see her wish come true.

This Secret Indian Hair-Growth Formula May Finally Give You a Mermaid Mane

Anyone who has unsuccessfully tried to get their hair to grow may roll their eyes at this video in which Prachi (the vlogger behind Super Wow Style) shares a family recipe for lengthier locks. Could a simple mix of natural ingredients really make hair grow up to 30-40 percent as Prachi claims? We were a bit skeptical, too, and while we have not tried this remedy, a look at Prachi's long shiny mane and reading the reviewers' testimonials is making us reconsider. Perhaps this is the holistic answer to getting the mermaid mane of your dreams. In fact, Prachi challenges viewers to take before and after images when they test the treatment.

"People ask, 'How does you hair grow?' and I give them the same answer," she says in the video. "I learned it from my mom, and she learned is from her mother. It's an old Indian secret."

To DIY it, you'll need: coconut oil, castor oil, vitamin E, aloe vera leaves, and two bowls (one small and one large). Start by cutting up the aloe vera leaves, and then scratch it with a knife or fork to scrape out more gel. Rub the leaf on your scalp and massage the aloe gel into your roots. Use your fingers to make sure it's all over your head.

Then, in a small bowl, combine one tablespoon of castor oil with 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Pierce the vitamin E capsule with needle, extract the oil, and add it to the formula. Place the small bowl with the three oils in a larger one containing hot water. Warning: do not place the oil directly on a fire (including a stove) or in microwaves, since it can catch fire immediately.

After five minutes, the hot oil should be ready. Use your fingertips to apply it onto your scalp. Lay down on a sofa or the like and gently massage it into your scalp for two to three minutes. "This is very important to increase blood circulation for hair growth," she explains.

Once you're done, weave your hair in tight braid and sleep on it. Wash you hair in the morning. According to Prachi, you will start seeing a difference in your hair length "very, very soon."

While she does not specify how often to do the treatment, reviewers offer their successful trials.

"I tried this method exactly as she explained to and it WORKED!" one commenter said. "My hair grew about 4 to 5 inches in about 3 months! I did it 2 x per week for a month. Then 1 x per week for the next 2 months. It made my hair so healthy and strong. Everyone kept commenting on how fast my hair grew and how long it is. Before I started my hair was bra strap length. Now it is to my hips! I don't have photos to post, because I seriously hate taking photos of myself since I have gained weight (next thing to work on) but I will consider it."

Another commenter said, "I watched your video and used these products! And it works like MAGIC. I don't know how but my hair grew in a week. I used it two times a week though aloe vera was not available! But castor oil is super! Hats off!"

A third remarked, "It's amazing . . . I've seen results in just 2 wash[es] . . . My hair [ha]s became more silky and the best part it made my hair 2.5 cm longer."

So, what do you think? Is this a hoax or the most genius hair hack ever?

British Prime Minister Says "Enough Is Enough" After Recent London Attacks

On Sunday, June 6, British Prime Minister Theresa May addressed the UK following the third terrorist attack in Britain in the last three months. "We believe are experiencing a new trend in the threat we face," May said, referring to the horrific attacks that occurred this past March, again in May at an Ariana Grande concert, and once more over the weekend when a white van struck several pedestrians on the London Bridge and three attackers stabbed passerby at a nearby Borough Market..

May said the increase of terrorist attacks are being copied by individuals who have a perverse ideology of the Islamic religion. "It is an ideology that claims our western values of freedom, democracy and human rights are incompatible with the religion of Islam . . [it is] a perversion of the truth."

May also called for prominent changes in the way the UK addressed the threat of terrorism, including new regulations on websites and internet service providers who allow "space space[s]" for terrorists. "We need to work with allied democratic governments to reach international agreements that regulate cyberspace to prevent the spread of extremist and terrorism planning. And we need to do everything we can at home to reduce the risks of extremism online."

The Prime Minister also called out the UK's own issues with extremism, saying, "We need to live our lives not in a series of separated, segregated communities, but as one truly United Kingdom . . . Enough is enough . . . We must come together, we must pull together, and united we will take on and defeat our enemies."

President Trump also issued several statements about the recent London attacks on Twitter, calling for a reinstatement of his blocked travel ban "as an extra level of safety!" Read what he else had to say below.

Could Tarek El Moussa Be the Next Bachelor? He's Definitely Into the Idea

Following his dramatic split from Christina El Moussa in 2016, Tarek El Moussa is trying to keep his personal life simple as a self-proclaimed "single guy loving life." In a recent interview with E! News, the Flip or Flop host opened up about dating, coparenting, and The Bachelor.

When asked about his so-called "new life," Tarek said, "The biggest thing I'm doing is half of the time is spending time with my kids and the other half is traveling. I'm going out to dinners. I'm meeting new friends." He also explained, "I've never really been single before, believe it or not, so it's a whole new life and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm just a free spirit. I'm happy. I love going on dates. I like meeting girls. I'm just enjoying it."

That being said, fatherhood is still his top priority. Tarek said, "I'm a dad half the time, I'm a single guy half the time, so I have at this point in my life the best of both worlds after the separation," adding, "Being a dad is number one."

Though Tarek said he's opposed to using a dating app, he isn't ruling out dating shows. When asked if he would ever be on The Bachelor, Tarek said, "I would be open to that. I would absolutely be open to that."

In another moment, he clarified, "I'm open for dating shows. I'm ready to date and be healthy. I mean, the last three years have really kicked my butt: cancer, cancer, back, 50-pound weight swing. I'm finally in a place where I'm healthy, happy, and I'm ready to move forward." Your move, ABC.

5 Important Love Lessons All Women Need to Know (and Follow!)

While dating, it's easy to lose yourself and forget who you are in the process. You give so much to the other person, and eventually your identity as an individual starts to blend with theirs. And some who can't seem to catch a break in the realm of love begin to look inward and wonder if it has something to do with them. To maintain your sanity and self-worth in the midst of relationship trial and error, it's important to keep five lessons in mind. Here's what all women need to know and follow.

1. No one else is responsible for your happiness but yourself.

A partner can contribute to your happiness, but it's not their job. It all starts with you, and you can't put it on him or her to bring you joy. If you're unable to make yourself happy, how can you ever expect anyone else to? Rather than finding a partner for the sake of filling that void, establish a healthy relationship with yourself and you'll find more fulfillment in being alone.

2. Never tolerate anybody who doesn't treat you with respect.

Don't ever allow someone to put you down in any way or hurt you emotionally, mentally, or physically. You should be shown nothing but love and kindness, and anything below that is not to be accepted. Period.

3. Don't chase someone who doesn't see your worth.

Whoever can't understand how lucky they are to have you isn't worth your time or effort. You deserve nothing but the best, so don't settle for a partner who can't live up to that. It's not about being better than him or her, either; it's about being valued. Don't waste your energy on assh*les who don't understand that.

4. Never change who you are for somebody else.

Unless it's for the better, you shouldn't have to alter any of your beliefs, values, opinions, appearance, etc. to please a significant other. Clearly, they don't accept you for who you are and don't appreciate what they have in front of them. If they truly care about you, they'll love every single part of you, flaws and all.

5. You are enough.

Never let anybody convince you otherwise.

Will Disney Change Its Other Tower of Terror? The Answer Is Complicated

When it was first announced that Disney's California Adventure Park would be replacing its iconic Tower of Terror, people had some serious feelings. Despite any impassioned criticism, however, the decades-old ride was nonetheless replaced by the Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired Mission: Breakout! ride in late May. And you know what? It looks pretty damn fun, too.

Following the West Coast removal of The Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror, many wondered if the same fate would fall upon its Walt Disney World iteration in Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately, the company has yet to officially address the future of the ride. While speaking with a Walt Disney World representative and resort specialist, however, we got a little clarification on the matter.

In an interview on May 23, Walt Disney World's Lauren Holt said that everyone at the company is just as eager to know as we are. "I haven't heard whether or not. We've all been waiting and asking," Holt said. Adding, "I can certainly hope so. Everyone loves Guardians of the Galaxy. Who doesn't love Chris Pratt? It's definitely something we've been interested in, and there just hasn't been information on it yet."

That being said, Disney is well aware of the serious nostalgia people feel for the original ride. Holt explained, "Like anything with Disney, there's always a little bit of melancholy to see it go. It's bittersweet, but then they always surpass your expectations with the next thing. They'll definitely get the feedback that they got at Disneyland - where people were sad to see it go - but it'll still be exciting to have something new if that's what they choose."

As we expected, Holt wasn't able to give us a definitive answer but she did let us know that no decisions have been made to replace the ride just yet. Next time you're at Hollywood Studios, however, you might want to ride Tower of Terror just in case it's the last time you'll be able to.

Travel and accommodations were provided by Disney for the purpose of writing this post.

Kendall Jenner Thinks This Young Model Is Her Biggest Competition

Kendall Jenner is a pro in front of the camera. What you may not know, however, is that she's also an experienced photographer. Kendall had the chance to exercise her photography skills by shooting Kaia Gerber for Love Magazine's "The Fans Issue." The two are already friends IRL so what do you get when you pair a young up-and-coming model with an It model? Magic.

During the shoot, Kendall even shared that Kaia will one day become a friendly rival in the industry: "She's getting more beautiful, which I did not even think was possible. Listen, we're all trying to get all our work in now before she hits the scene. When that happens we'll all go broke!"

This coming from Kendall, who has walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (twice), landed major campaigns like Marc Jacobs, and launched her own fashion line is, well, one of the highest forms of praise. We have to agree - there's no doubt Kaia will succeed, following in the footsteps of mom Cindy Crawford. Read on to see Kendall and Kaia's natural bond through the camera.

A City in Japan Plans to Open a Spa Amusement Park, and We're Kind of Into It

A truly perfect vacation requires a healthy balance of relaxation and activity. But what if, somehow, you could combine the two into one? Introducing, the spa amusement park. To be perfectly honest, I've never envisioned myself sitting in a hot spring roller coaster and riding with strangers in my towel, but now that the mayor of Beppu, Japan has placed this image in my head, it's kind of all I want in life.

Back in November 2016, the mayor of Beppu, a city on the southern island of Kyushu that's well known for its onsen hot springs, issued a challenge. If a video depicting the grand vision of an onsen amusement park garnered 1 million views, he pledged to make that (unusual but arguably awesome) dream become a reality. Well, the video has closer to 4 million views now, and so we can only hope that the spa amusement park is actually in the works. There's no official date for its completion (yet), and though logistics do seem a bit questionable, we still hope this project is a true possibility. According to RocketNews24, plans are in motion. Watch the video ahead to see the hypothetical "spa" amusement park.

5 Ways I Styled My Awkwardly Long Bangs to Survive the Growing-Out Stage

In the dead of Winter, getting bangs seemed like an amazing idea. I was completely hell-bent on having Alexa Chung's effortlessly wavy fringe, so much so that I convinced myself the look would be easy enough to manage year-round. Ignoring my stylist's gentle warnings about the difficulties of dealing with wavy-textured bangs in humidity and the extra time styling them would require, I told her I had everything under control. It was a pretty stupid bold declaration, considering I rarely sacrificed sleep in the name of giving myself extra time to get ready.

After the initial chop, I was so thrilled with my new 'do that I actually didn't mind the extra time I had to spend on my hair in the mornings. What was a couple fewer minutes of sleep if the end result was looking a little more like Alexa Chung? I vowed to do whatever upkeep was necessary to keep my bangs going all year-round.

But by the second month of living with my new fringe, I started to question if this would really be as simple to style once cooler, dryer weather passed. Maybe my hairstylist (you know, the highly trained individual who is a licensed expert in all things hair-related) had been right to warn me against getting these bangs. Visions of my fairly easy, eyebrow-grazing fringe from Winter turning into a damp curtain of frizz that stuck to my sweaty forehead in Summer scared the sh*t out of me. It was decided: I had to get a move on growing these bangs back out before Summer's sweltering heat was in full swing.

Starting the process of growing my bangs out was painful, to put it lightly. At first, I had no idea how to conceal these odd-lengthed hairs without reaching for a baseball hat every day. But with time (and plenty of bobby pins, headbands, and hair oil), I've finally figured out a number of looks that both hide my growing fringe and feel like my style. Ahead, check out five of those hairstyles I've relied on to pull me through the dreaded growing-out stage. (And if you ever hear me talk about getting bangs again, by all means, tell me to stop talking.)

Why 1 School Put Students Through a Lunch-Shaming "Roll Call"

It seems like every week there's a new story on parents or kids being called out for the food packed in their lunchboxes or the lack of money in their accounts. But students are speaking out after one New Jersey school took things a step further by publicly giving students a serious ultimatum.

According to students at Fair Lawn High School, kids who owed lunch money were called out during an assembly and told they wouldn't receive their diplomas if they didn't settle their debt.

"Exactly like a roll call, and for [overdue library] books, the students called had to actually walk over to the stage and pick something up," Fair Lawn senior Benny Koval told The Daily Beast. "The first few names provoked a lot of laughter and name-calling."

After the school's assembly took the surprising twist, Koval posted a video on Twitter that quickly went viral. "My high school's having a name & shame for students who owe lunch and/or book money," Koval wrote. "Admins say they won't graduate unless debts are covered." After the video spread online, strangers offered to pay off the students' debts so they could walk on graduation day.

The principal's secretary, Diane Knudsen, spoke to The Daily Beast about the situation and said that the assembly's roll call of indebted students was "not a ceremony." Instead she explained, "It's their obligation."

Although states like New Mexico are officially making "lunch shaming" against the law, the issue is still rampant, even in elementary school. In Arizona, a boy was recently stamped with the words "lunch money" after the school fed him even though his lunch account had run low, leaving the child humiliated.

A Studio Ghibli Theme Park Is Set to Open in Japan in 2020!

Totoro, Totoro, Totoro, Totoro! You know, the one who helps your garden grow and may or may not provide a leaf-umbrella when you're caught in the rain? Get excited because Studio Ghibli is opening a theme park dedicated to one of its most treasured animations, My Neighbor Totoro. Producer Toshio Suzuki and the governor of Aichi Prefecture Expo Memorial Park agreed to a plan on May 31 and aim to open it up in the early 2020s.

Expo Park (located in Nagoya, Japan) already hosts a recreation of Satsuki and Mei's home from Hayao Miyazaki's film. But Studio Ghibli and Aichi administration are teaming up to expand the exhibit to 200 acres, which will be Ghibli's largest installation yet. The proposed plan is to maintain the existing natural environment filled with trees and flowers, instead of cutting down trees for new developments. What they're calling "Ghibli Park," for now, will bring familiar settings and landscapes to life.

We can't wait to see it!

He looks forward to returning." According to People, The Last Ship will return on Aug. 20 for its fourth season.

7 Life-Saving Home Safety Tips Everyone Who Lives Alone Needs to Read

Moving out on your own is a big step. Leaving the comfort of a shared apartment, college dorm, or parent's house to live in an apartment all alone can be as scary as it is exhilarating. Along with all the independence that comes from renting (or buying) solo comes the full responsibility of watching out for your own safety - no roomies or mom to make sure you're home OK or lock the door behind you!

To learn how to stay safe when striking out on your own, we spoke with expert David Laubner of Blink Home Security. Check out his pro tips below - they might just save your life.

Change the locks as soon as you move in.

"Ensuring you know who has access to copies of your keys should be the first question to the landlord," David says. He warns that not all landlords do their due diligence to update the locks when a tenant moves out, so it's a smart idea to change them yourself upon moving in.

Make friends with your neighbors.

"People are 77 percent more likely to help a neighbor they know. It also allows your neighbors to be aware of what you look like so if they see someone knocking or going into your apartment that isn't you, they will know when to help or be more attentive."

Install an entrance door security camera.

David says it's essential to have some form of security in an apartment while you're not there monitoring your front door. "Having a security camera will give you that peace of mind. They don't have to be expensive, either; our indoor cameras start at just $99."

Use window stoppers.

"Windows are great to get fresh air, but they are one of the easiest access points in an apartment," David warns. "By simply putting a wooden pole in between where the two windows meet, you can block access for burglars." He also advises adding extra protection to any windows that could be accessed by climbing a tree. A simple window alarm is a good place to start.

View the room as if you are looking in from the street.

"Make sure to evaluate the rooms of the apartment as if you are looking through the window because burglars or thieves have the ability to look before entering," David says. To keep them from getting a good look at your apartment from the outside, he advises drawing the shades before leaving when possible or, for a more permanent solution, coating on the window so no one can peek in.

Get a door peep hole.

"One of the most common areas burglars and thieves enter is through is still the front door," says David. "They tend to knock first to ensure no one is home, so be sure you have something to prepare for any intruders who come to the door. It also allows you be better informed for anyone knocking at your door."

Download a personal security app.

David's final tip for solo dwellers: get a personal security app. "Whether you're headed out to meet girlfriends or simply walking from your apartment to your car, downloading a personal security app, such as bSafe, is a smart move for any woman who lives alone. This allows you to invite your friends to virtually walk you home and will even notify them when you've arrived at your destination."
