Jeff Goldblum Solidifies His DILF Status by Stepping Out With His 2 Sons in France
Jeff Goldblum is an incredibly sexy man when he's on his own, but when you throw his adorable family into the mix? Forget. About. It. The actor proved that his favorite role is family man when he stepped out with his wife, Emilie Livingston, and their two adorable sons, Charlie and River, at the Deauville American Film Festival in France on Sunday. While posing for photos in front of his dedicated beach locker room on the Promenade des Planches, Jeff was all smiles while holding and kissing baby River. Jeff and Emilie, who tied the knot in 2014, welcomed Charlie in July 2015 and River in April 2017. If this outing proves anything, it's that Jeff's "DILF" satus isn't going away anytime soon.
This Ikea Purchase Is the Answer to All Your Small-Closet Problems
Tiny closets are a source of stress and frustration almost all small-space dwellers can relate to, but when you have to share that tiny closet with your significant other, battle lines are drawn. I should know. My husband and I tried to make due with his and hers dressers and a hanging clothes rack for a while, but the exposed rack of clothes and overflowing dressers just weren't cutting it. A wardrobe was needed. Not just any wardrobe, though. We needed his and hers wardrobes that could be customized, easily assembled, and purchased for less than a small fortune. Like any online editor would do, I took my quest to Pinterest where I discovered the answer to my problem: Ikea's Pax Wardrobe System. The interior organizing possibilities are seemingly endless, it was in stock at my local Ikea, and it was an option we could actually afford. After studying and pinning some inspiration pictures culled from other bloggers' Pax projects, my husband and I purchased one for each of us and customized them for our needs. Here's what I did with mine!
Michael Fassbender's New Murder Mystery Thriller Looks Downright Brutal
The trailer for upcoming thriller The Snowman has dropped, and, well, so did our stomachs. Based on the 2007 novel by Jo Nesbo, the story follows two detectives, Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender) and Katrine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson). The team is trying to track down a savage killer who's dismembering and beheading "women he disapproves of." The film has all kinds of spooky and gritty vibes to it. We're getting hints of Zodiac, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and maybe even a dash of FX's acclaimed drama series Fargo. Think you can handle it? The Snowman hits theaters on Oct. 20.
The Completely Addictive Method of Cooking Broccoli and Cauliflower
It won't be a challenge to eat your veggies if you try this easy technique for roasting cauliflower and broccoli. For months, a few women in our office have been praising roasted cruciferous veggies. I'm already a huge fan of baked kale chips, roasted brussels sprouts, and oven-crisped cabbage, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to try out roasted cauliflower and broccoli. Now that I have, I'm never going back to the steamed stuff. The oven morphed the little veggie trees into crisp nuggets that could almost pass for chips. They are addictive . . . don't be surprised if those around you fight for the last bites!
Here's what you'll do:
- Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into equally sized pieces.
- Spread across a rimmed sheet tray, leaving space between each floret. Drizzle olive oil across the veggies and salt and pepper to taste.
- Roast in a 400°F oven for 18-23 minutes, or until crispy to your liking.
9 Shocking Pieces of Information That Were Left Out of Making a Murderer
It's been over a year since Making a Murderer landed on Netflix, yielding theories about the fate of Teresa Halbach and a search for updates on the Steven Avery case. One of the most contentious points about the series, though, is how much evidence was omitted from the Netflix series. The creators have addressed these concerns; not only do they admit that they couldn't possibly have fit all the evidence, but they also assert that whatever they left out wouldn't have made a big difference anyway. Even so, we did a little digging to see what had been left out. It's worth noting that we're only citing what has been reported in the media since the show's release, so take from this information what you will. Keep reading to see what we uncovered, then check out even more ways to fuel your new addiction.
Meghan Markle Breaks Her Silence on Prince Harry Romance: "We're Happy and in Love"
Nearly a year after news of their relationship broke, Meghan Markle is opening up about Prince Harry for the first time in Vanity Fair's October issue. While their royal romance is constantly in the spotlight, the Suits actress explained that her relationship with Harry is actually quite simple. "We're two people who are really happy and in love," she told the magazine. "We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception. Nothing about me changed. I'm still the same person that I am, and I've never defined myself by my relationship."
While it's obvious the two are very happy together, they have faced a few struggles along the way, particularly with the media. Shortly after their relationship was confirmed, Harry defended Meghan against "racist and sexist" trolls in a public statement via the Kensington Palace Twitter account. "It has its challenges, and it comes in waves - some days it can feel more challenging than others," Meghan said about the constant public scrutiny that comes with dating a royal. "And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed. But I still have this support system all around me, and, of course, my boyfriend's support. I don't read any press. I haven't even read press for Suits. The people who are close to me anchor me in knowing who I am. The rest is noise."

What the Wall's Destruction Means For the Next Season of Game of Thrones
The unthinkable has finally happened: the Wall came tumbling down on Game of Thrones, thanks to the undead Viserion's fiery blast. It was the very definition of an OMG moment, and now that we've had time to scrape our jaws off the floor, it's time to consider what the fall of the Wall means for Westeros. In short, it means everyone is screwed, but this new development is sure to make season eight an intense ride. The Night King and his army are officially marching south, and the barrier between Westeros and the true North is no more. Everything the citizens of the Seven Kingdoms thought they knew about their world is about to change in a major way.
Season eight is still a long (long) way off, but the destruction of the Wall is such a major event that the time to start thinking about the ramifications is now.
The Wall's Magic Has Been Broken
Bran the Builder, the Children of the Forest, and the giants teamed up to build the Wall thousands of years ago when the Children of the Forest's little White Walker experiment got out of hand. They used a mix of good old-fashioned manual labor and magic to construct the massive barrier between Westeros and the expansive North, with the goal being to prevent the White Walkers from ever entering the Seven Kingdoms again. In season six, Benjen Stark tells Bran and Meera that "ancient spells were carved into its foundation" and that as long as the Wall stood, the dead would never pass.
That magic couldn't withstand the onslaught of a dragon, though, and it's safe to say whatever spells were in place have effectively been broken. With so few practitioners of magic left, there's little hope of rebuilding the Wall. Everyone who lives in Westeros needs to band together to destroy the White Walkers for good this time, because there is no plan B. If they leave even one wight alive, they're doomed.
The Illusion of Safety Will be Gone
Sam spent most of season seven trying to convince the maesters that the Night King and his army were nothing to scoff at. However, Archmaester Ebrose's words sum up the reaction people had when Sam told them about the coming war: "The Wall has stood through it all, and every Winter that has ever came has ended." Ebrose and a whole lot of other people will now have to reevaluate their idea of safety because the Wall no longer stands.
The illusion that nothing beyond that great barrier could touch them is gone now. And with the Wall gone, fear is going to become a motivating factor for quite a few people. King's Landing may become flooded with refugees, which would put even more of a strain on the capital's food supply, while others may turn on the living as they scramble to keep themselves safe. More than that, the people are going to have confront the fact that this thing that they put so much faith in failed them and all of the stories they thought were fairy tales are real.
The Night King Is Free to Attack the Seven Kingdoms
After years of marching, the Night King is completely free to lay siege on the Seven Kingdoms. This isn't just scary because his army is deadly; it's terrifying because he now has limitless access to new recruits. Before, the only dead things he could raise were the ones beyond the Wall, but now he has access to everyone in Westeros. Meanwhile, Jon and Daenerys's army is finite. Expect more than one of your favorite characters to be turned before the war ends. With just six episodes left, Game of Thrones is going to be aiming to break as many hearts as possible.
The Night's Watch Will Be Forever Changed
With no Wall to guard, the institution of the Night's Watch may disappear forever. In recent history, they've been tasked with keeping the Wildlings out, but there's no time to hold on to petty grudges now. The Night's Watch no longer has a Wall to protect, and their true enemy is in the Seven Kingdoms. When the Great War ends, so will the brotherhood that has been protecting the realm since the Wall was built.
The North Will Fall First
It's no coincidence that almost all of the major players are currently in the North. Winterfell is sure to be a hub for the first part of season eight as the Night King's army pours into the region. Ideally, Jon, Daenerys, and their combined armies would be able to stop the White Walkers before they push further south. Unfortunately, that outcome seems unlikely, which means the North will almost certainly fall.
There Are Going to Be a Whole Lot of Battles
Season seven's battle scenes are sure to seem small in comparison to what lies ahead. With the White Walkers free to flood into Westeros, the skirmishes between the living and the dead will be epic. For viewers, that means you are almost guaranteed to see epic moments like Jaime and Brienne fighting side by side, Arya taking out a wight with her Valyrian steel dagger, and some dragon vs. dragon action as Drogon and Rhaegal face off against Viserion. Of course, some of our heroes will die, but the end of the Wall guarantees season eight will be a war story, and deaths are unavoidable.
The destruction of the Wall is a game changer. No one is safe going into season eight, and by the time the series ends, Westeros as we know it will be a very different place. Let's just hope it's still populated by the living.

How American Horror Story: Cult Takes a Dig at All Those Jill Stein Voters
This week, American Horror Story fans finally get to witness the long-awaited seventh season of the show. Considering that creator Ryan Murphy teased the season's 2016 election tie-ins as far back as February, it makes sense for viewers to be hyperaware of any and all political commentary layered between the lines of creepy dialogue and the disturbing confrontations with all those clowns. I've seen not just the premiere, but the first four episodes of Cult. So if you're wondering just how political it gets, let me put it like this: you can't swing a dead cat in the dark AHS: Cult universe without hitting some kind of critique of American politics.
Without giving too much away, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton do both appear in the season premiere, but not as characters. Instead, we see the real-life politicians through the various TV screens being watched by characters and in compiled footage from the election trail. The season kicks off on election night, and AHS presents what seem to be the most intense reactions to the results from both political parties: the liberal, Ally (Sarah Paulson), screams in agony and horror and immediately crumbles into an emotional mess when Clinton concedes to Trump. On the Republican side, Kai (Evan Peters) screams, "F*CK YOU, WORLD!", then proceeds to thrust his hips into his flatscreen TV while he chants, "USA! USA! USA!" Back in her home, Ally yells, "Go to hell, Huffington Post! F*ck you, Nate Silver!" Kai then proceeds to blend up a bag of orange cheese puffs, smear the mixture on his face, and practice his own Trump impression.
For all the explicit (and sort of unhinged) political commentary, there are also glimmers of a more nuanced - though still easy to spot - critique on the outcome of the 2016 election. Back in July, Murphy revealed that the season would be set in Michigan. This state in particular marked one of Trump's narrowest victories; he beat Clinton by less than 10,000 votes. With slightly more than 50,000 votes going to Jill Stein, it's not hard to see a scenario in which Clinton could have won. In the context of the 2016 election, Michigan is especially divisive: that fact that Michigan was part of Jill Stein's recount effort adds more salt to the wound.
Interestingly enough, Cult's Ally is a Jill Stein voter who insists she just couldn't bring herself to cast a vote for Hillary Clinton. "When I got into the booth, I couldn't do it. I tried, you know that I did!" she says, pleading with her wife, Ivy (Alison Pill). "But as much as I hate him, I didn't trust her!" She goes on, "Come on, you can't blame me! She (Clinton) didn't campaign enough in the battleground states! She went to Arizona, for God's sake." This is a charge levied by more than just a fictional AHS character. Ahead of the election, many critics believed Clinton was wrongly focusing her efforts on the ground. After the election, many more voices (notably some Bernie Sanders supporters) claimed Clinton ignored the most important swing states.
"As much as I hate him, I didn't trust her!"
Back in the scene with Ally, Ivy snaps back, "We needed 10,000 votes, and you would have been one of them." This moment seems to encapsulate the game in American Horror Story: Cult and shine a light on Murphy's world view. The election has come and gone, but the characters would rather deflect blame and point fingers than focus on living in this new reality. Ally's logic is pulled directly from the perceived attitude of so many American people in the final months of the election race as publications from The New York Times to Washington Post were publishing think pieces about why we simply "couldn't trust" Hillary.
This moment also seems to touch on another kind of rhetoric that was adopted near the end of the election: "I hate Trump, but I'm voting for him anyway." It was an attitude carried by some Republicans and on-the-line Democrats who, as Ally puts it, simply "couldn't do it" when it came to voting for Hillary.
The core of American Horror Story's message seems to be a mixture of these realizations: there's the same shock many Americans felt the day after the election, the desperation to look back and figure out what went wrong. AHS seems to posit that everything has changed for the worse - and forever - so there's little use in rehashing it. Murphy's Cult characters can live in denial all they want, but the clowns will come out with sharpened knives and terrifying, painted-on grins either way.
The Latinx Disney Characters You Need to Know and Love
Ask anyone to rattle off the names of Latinx Disney characters and you might find them thinking hard and stammering. While we're by no means totally there when it comes to Latinx representation from Disney and beyond, Latinx have actually appeared in more than a handful of Disney's movies and TV shows (and we're not counting those who were not actually portrayed by Latinx, like Lizzie McGuire's Miranda Sanchez, played by a Filipina, or High School Musical's Gabriella Montez).
You know Elena of Avalor - are you still as pumped as we are about the first Latina princess?! - and are excited about the all-Latinx cast of Coco, but do you know Emperor Kuzco, Harley Diaz, and Cruz Ramirez? Here's a watching marathon you need to settle in for, stat.
"This Is a Sad Day For Our Country": Mark Zuckerberg Writes Moving Post on DACA's End
Days before the Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was rescinded by Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Sept. 5, numerous government officials and tech leaders pleaded with President Donald Trump to keep the program. And they're not giving up. Tech leaders - including the CEOs of Facebook, Google, Apple, and Uber - are speaking out in defense of DACA and its recipients, known as Dreamers. Despite the announcement, they're vowing to keep fighting for young immigrants who benefited from the program.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, tweeted his statement. He wrote: "#Dreamers contribute to our companies and our communities just as much as you and I. Apple will fight for them to be treated as equals."

Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, shared a similar sentiment: "Dreamers are our neighbors, our friends and our co-workers. This is their home. Congress needs to act now to #DefendDACA. #WithDreamers."

Dara Khosrowshahi, an Iranian immigrant who came to the US as a 9-year-old and is now the CEO of Uber, wrote, "It's against our values to turn our backs on #DREAMers. Everyone deserves a chance to work, study, and contribute - the #AmericanDream!"

Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, tweeted, "Completely unnecessary and cruel. Ending #DACA is a crushing blow to those who want to contribute to our future."

The cofounders of Lyft, John Zimmer and Logan Green, both tweeted their defense of DACA and Dreamers as well. "We stand with Dreamers and support inclusivity for all. Ending DACA is wrong," wrote Green. "Dreamers add to our communities and economy. Ending DACA is wrong - we now must work together to ask Congress to act," Zimmer wrote.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who previously wrote a letter on Aug. 31 about DACA, tweeted, "Dreamers make our country and communities stronger. We stand for diversity and economic opportunity for everyone."

Along with Nadella's statement, Microsoft's president and chief legal officer, Brad Smith, wrote his own lengthy response to the end of DACA. In it, he pledges that Microsoft will protect its 39 Dreamer employees. "If Congress fails to act, our company will exercise its legal rights properly to help protect our employees," Smith wrote. "If the government seeks to deport any one of them, we will provide and pay for their legal counsel. We will also file an amicus brief and explore whether we can directly intervene in any such case. In short, if Dreamers who are our employees are in court, we will be by their side."
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who previously wrote a Facebook post on why DACA was necessary, wrote another statement calling the end of DACA "a sad day for our country." He continued by reminding us that Dreamers are all around us. "The young people covered by DACA are our friends and neighbors. They contribute to our communities and to the economy." Zuckerberg then calls on both Congress and US citizens to "do the right thing. We have always been a nation of immigrants, and immigrants have always made our nation stronger." You can read his full post ahead.

How to Order a Frappuccino That Tastes Just Like Your Favorite Disney Snack
It's not a trip to Disneyland without a warm, sugary-sweet churro . . . but why stop there? The newest craze sweeping the Disney resort is a hybrid between everybody's favorite fried dessert and an ice-cold Starbucks classic: the Churro Frappuccino. This drink isn't an official menu item in US Starbucks locations (though it has appeared officially at some Latin-American stores), but it's part of the unofficial "secret menu" for hardcore fans.
We wouldn't blame you for ordering one of these, then dunking a churro in it! Based on photos from satisfied Starbucks fans, it looks totally delicious. To order this Frappuccino from the Starbucks "secret menu," simply order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and make the following substitutions:
- Add cinnamon dulce syrup
- Add white mocha syrup
- Add powdered cinnamon
- Top with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and powdered cinnamon
Of course, always try to be conscious of your barista when ordering a complicated, off-menu drink - especially at the Disneyland Starbucks locations! If you plan to order a frozen churro extravaganza, try going during non-peak times of the day. (Nobody wants to be the person who stopped tired, hangry park-goers from getting their dose of caffeine!) Check out photos of the delightful creation ahead, then let us know if you try it at the parks.

The New Pennywise From It Is So Scary, He's Making Children Cry
The long-awaited It remake finally hits theaters this Friday, which means we all should cherish these last few precious nights of restful sleep. If you have any lingering doubts that the new and updated Pennywise will traumatize you, allow us to present this unsettling behind-the-scenes story from Bill Skarsgard, the actor who plays the monster.
Back in June, Skarsgard participated in a feature with Interview Magazine in which he was interviewed by his quite famous brother Alexander Skarsgard. While there's plenty of fun sibling banter to enjoy throughout the chat, we're going to cut straight to the horror. Near the end of the interview, the brothers inevitably talk about the newest iteration of It. Alexander Skarsgard asks, "Does it feel good knowing that kids around the world for decades to come will have nightmares about you?" In his response, the other Skarsgard shares a story about his time on set. As it turns out, he tried not to break character while around the children . . . but eventually had to cave when things got a little too real.
"On set, I wasn't very friendly or goofy. I tried to maintain some sort of weirdness about the character, at least when I was in all the makeup. At one point, they set up this entire scene, and these kids come in, and none of them have seen me yet. Their parents have brought them in, these little extras, right? And then I come out as Pennywise, and these kids - young, normal kids - I saw the reaction that they had. Some of them were really intrigued, but some couldn't look at me, and some were shaking. This one kid started crying. He started to cry and the director yelled, 'Action!' And when they say 'action,' I am completely in character. So some of these kids got terrified and started to cry in the middle of the take, and then I realized, 'Holy sh*t. What am I doing? What is this? This is horrible' . . . then we cut, and obviously I was all, 'Hey, I'm sorry. This is pretend.'"
I mean, if children were crying on set - actress Sophia Lillis, who plays Beverly Marsh, said it's "not scary considering there are so many people around" - we can't even begin to imagine how terrifying everything will be on the big screen. And if you happen to be afraid of clowns, I'm sorry to say you might be especially doomed. You can always just keep your head down and avoid everything It-related until the hype dies down. Oh, and you might want to skip that clowns-only screening at the Alamo Drafthouse as well.

The couple's home renovations on HGTV's Fixer Upper have earned them legions of loyal fans, many of whom would love to follow in the famous couple's real estate footsteps. But there are four people in particular who are not only genetically predisposed to real estate talent but are also showing a precocious interest in the Magnolia business: Chip and Joanna's kids, Drake, Ella, Emmie, and Duke. The Gaineses' mini mes can often be seen on Instagram assisting their parents on a job site or working on their own design projects. Take a look at the Gaines kids helping out with the family business ahead.
Everything We Know About Season 14 of Grey's Anatomy
Even though it feels like we just witnessed the season 13 finale of Grey's Anatomy, it's never too soon to look ahead. In the wake of everything that has happened, it's clear there are plenty of planted seeds that will surely bloom once the show returns in the Fall. Granted, Stephanie will no longer be with us, but with a few new faces, a couple of new flames, and that trademark drama we've always loved, there's plenty to look forward to. There isn't too much available information about the 14th season of Grey's, but we do have a few things figured out.
1. Owen's Sister Is Going to Cause All Kinds of Disruption
Owen's sister is alive! At the very end of the finale, Owen reconnects with his long-lost sibling, Megan. This could cause all kind of upheaval. It will certainly change Owen's entire life. Then there's Riggs, who was in love with Megan before she vanished. The timing is terrible: Meredith has just opened herself up romantically to Riggs, and now she risks losing him. Will Megan and Riggs be able to pick up where they left off?
There's also a chance Megan will join the ranks at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Once she recovers from the years of trauma, obviously. But if she does end up on the hospital staff, it'll be interesting to see what kind of ripple effect it has on everyone else.
2. Jackson and Maggie Might Get Together
And by "might" we mean "almost definitely." By the time the finale rolled around, the show had been dropping hints that Maggie and Jackson would pair up. Even in the last episode, April tells Maggie that she's pretty sure Jackson has feelings for her. The question is, will either of them act on it? Call us crazy, but we're still holding out hope for Japril.
3. Arizona Might Be Broken-Hearted All Over Again
Now that Minnick has been fired, there's a strong chance she's leaving Seattle. It seems like Arizona is about to have another wound to tend to - unless, for some strange reason, Minnick sticks around. We'll admit, we didn't exactly love Minnick, but it was nice to see Arizona happy!
4. We Probably Haven't Heard the Last of Jo's Husband
The storyline with Jo's husband, Paul Stadler (played by Glee's Matthew Morrison), has only heated more and more since we first found out. At the end of the season, Alex meets him in person but fails to follow through with any actual action. The thing is, the show wouldn't have put a face to the name unless we're going meet him again, and now we know for sure that he's returning. Morrison confirmed the news during an interview with The Argonaut in August, noting that he has "a big role" in the upcoming season.
5. Is There Hope For Owen and Amelia?
We caught a glimmer of love remaining between Owen and Amelia near the end of season 13 when they embrace and cry it out together in the elevator. Is there a chance Amelia is coming around? Could Owen's sister have softened his hard shell? It's absolutely possible.
6. A Character Is Leaving the Show
Say goodbye to Eliza Minnick. The doctor, who came on board as Arizona's love interest, is leaving Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for good. Eliza (played by actress Marika Dominczyk) ruffled more than a few feathers during her time on the drama and ended up getting fired by Bailey in the season 13 finale, so her exit shouldn't come as too much of a shock.
7. The Schedule Is Just the Same as Always
ABC has already released the Fall TV lineup for 2017, and Grey's will continue to dominate the Thursday night spot.
8. The Premiere Date
The show has almost always kicked off the season near the end of September, so it should come as no surprise that the premiere date has been set for Sept. 28.
27 Game of Thrones Season 8 Theories to Read Until the Show Returns
The following contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season seven.
Game of Thrones season seven is officially finished, and while the season left us with a lot of definitive answers about the series - like the truth about Jon Snow's claim to the Iron Throne - there are still a helluva lot of questions left to answer. Based on how the season ended, we've got quite a few theories about how the show's final installment will play out when it returns to air. We're talking deaths! Love stories! Babies! Revenge! The eighth and last season is going to be more fiery than "dracarys."
Read on for our predictions (and hopes) for next season. There will be prophecies fulfilled, hearts broken, and kill lists to complete . . . but, most importantly, Winter has come to Westeros, and the Night King isn't slowing down for anybody.
Just a Bunch of Hot Kyle Chandler GIFs Because He's So Damn Handsome
Theory: you either have a crush on Kyle Chandler, or you just haven't realized it yet. Personally, my go-to TV and movie genres include comedies, coming-of-age stories, and literally anything featuring Kyle Chandler. He's a talented actor, he's charming, he's perfected the sexy squint, he's handsome in a way that's almost unfair to everyone else - and let's not forget the accent. As every Friday Night Lights fan knows, he's as lovable as ever as Coach Taylor, and more recently, he won over fans with his captivating role in Bloodline. Oh, and in case his long Hollywood career isn't reason enough to adore him, here's another sweet fact: he and his wife, Kathryn, have been together for more than 20 years and they have two daughters. Since Kyle turns 52 later this month, we're celebrating with a look at some of his most handsome moments ever. Prepare to swoon.

We're taking a look back at some of Buffy's most memorable quotes that you may or may not have used at your workplace. Read them here, then be sure to check out all the reasons Buffy is still your role model.
What President Trump Eats Every Day - and Why This Nutritionist Has Her Concerns
Image Source: Getty / Stephen Lovekin
During a prepresidency interview with CNN, Donald Trump opened up about his predilection for fast food. He said, "I'm a very clean person. I like cleanliness, and I think you're better off going there than maybe someplace that you have no idea where the food's coming from. It's a certain standard." One nutritionist, however, recently shared her concerns about the president's poorly balanced diet.
Jo Travers is an esteemed nutritionist and the author of The Low Fad Diet. She recently assessed Trump's everyday diet in an interview with The Guardian, and it was pretty eye-opening.
For starters, Trump isn't a big breakfast fan and he's reportedly said, "My big thing is dinner." If he absolutely must have breakfast, he opts for bacon, eggs, or cornflakes. Travers strongly advised against the consumption of bacon. She said, "It's a processed pork product, which has been linked with cancer, so his risk of developing the disease will go up." Given that his usual breakfast is so protein-heavy, Travers recommended a better balance of protein and carbs.
The president has also spoken about his love of meatloaf. He once prepared meatloaf with Martha Stewart and said he often likes to eat meatloaf sandwiches. Travers said meatloaf sandwiches are just fine if prepared with whole-wheat bread. She did, however, bemoan the lack of vegetables or fruit: "Meatloaf is essentially just meat. There's no roughage. And no fibre impacts on gut health. If you don't feed your gut bacteria with fruit and vegetables, that can impact the immune system and lead to infections."
Then there's Trump's commitment to fast-food purveyors like McDonald's and KFC. Following his win during the primary election, Trump celebrated with McDonald's signature Big Mac and fries. Later that Summer, he shared a picture of himself eating fried chicken on his private plane. Albeit delicious, these aren't the healthiest choices. Travers noted these meals are packed with trans fats and linked to heart disease.

In addition to its physical effects, Trump's heavy diet may have mental and emotional implications, as well, specifically due to the lack of healthy fats and omega-3s. "His body will substitute with other types of fats, which are less fluid, making it harder for neuro transmitters to get through," Travers said, adding, "This is linked to mood disorders."
This post was originally published on Feb. 7, 2017.
Much like his policies, the president's diet is vastly different than that of Barack Obama, whose main late-night snack was once described as being "seven lightly salted almonds."
A Definitive Ranking of the Best Butts on Game of Thrones
We've been through a lot with Game of Thrones. So much, in fact, that we're pretty much irrevocably scarred for life because of all the damage it's done. It's so easy to forget, though, that we've had lots of good times too. We've already ranked the hottest guys on Game of Thrones, but there's one important thing we need to rank: all those butts. With the showstopping season seven finale behind us, there's not much else to cling to. We're remembering (and maybe rating/judging) all the best bare bottoms in Westeros.
8 Sexy-as-Hell Shirtless Moments in 2017 Movies
We're celebrating the end of Summer by rounding up all the shirtless men in movies from this year. From the babes in Baywatch to the short-haired version of Chris Hemsworth, we have the sexiest shots from the cinema so far. (We've also already compiled every shirtless moment from TV this year, so . . . you're welcome for that.) Stay thirsty, my friends.
This Street Style Shows Selena Gomez Is Going to Be the Best Dressed Star of 2017
If 2015 and 2016 were the years of Selena Gomez's style revival, then 2017 is when she brings up her game a notch and becomes the ultimate fashion star. The "Hands to Myself" singer, who is busier than ever with a producer gig for Netflix's 13 Reasons Why and a new album in the works, is just giving us one great street style look after another one - the fact that she's an ambassador for Coach might have something to do with that.
There was that coveted Coach dinosaur sweater, a sexy gingham dress solely held up by knots from Proenza Schouler, and a collared dress Victoria Beckham wore. What else does Selena have in store? Time will tell. Read ahead for her best looks this year thus far.

Have a Pretty Little Liars Halloween With These Costume Ideas
It's no secret that Pretty Little Liars had a serious dark side. The show constantly kept you guessing, and that's why it's still the perfect inspiration for Halloween. The shocking series finale has come and gone, and with the show recently over, there's no time like the present to channel an iconic Rosewood character on the scariest day of the year.

There are several beautiful love stories in the works, while some are on the racier side (hello, Fifty Shades). Find your next romance to get sucked into - and then see if you can imagine your favorite actors as the love interests!
25 Songs From Grey's Anatomy Guaranteed to Make You Sob Uncontrollably
The life of a Grey's Anatomy fan is not an easy one. We suffer death after painful death, breakups, plane crashes, rogue gunmen, and overall misery. Although few things can make up for this emotional torture, there's one thing about Grey's that never fails to deliver: the music. There's a reason the show's soundtrack won a Grammy, people! Since every heartbreaking moment is accompanied by the most perfect song, we've rounded up all of the tunes that gave us the most feels (on top of feels, on top of even more feels). Check 'em out!

An especially busy time of year, now is the time to lean on easy, supercozy recipes that practically cook themselves. Here, we've rounded up more than 60 recipes ranging from tailgating favorites (barbecue ribs) to Italian pastas (bolognese sauce) to pack-and-go mason jar lunches (black beans with sweet potatoes and quinoa).

When Christina Aguilera burst onto the scene in 1999 with her debut self-titled album, she was just 19 years old. Now, she has an incredible career with seven albums under her belt, and back in August 2015, she gave birth to her second child. Also, if her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon taught us anything new, it's that Christina is really, really good at pop star impressions. We thought it was high time we look back at her incredible transformation through the years, as well as the inspiring quotes about body image she's shared along the way. Keep reading to go all the way back to 1999.

Although many of us dreamed of our wedding when we were young, I'm betting that, as kids, we weren't able to process how much the big day costs. Going into debt because of a wedding isn't exactly the most romantic way to start a marriage, so read on for suggestions to help you save money on your wedding.
12 Things You Never Knew About Pier 1, Straight From a Former Employee
Pier 1 is high on our list of favorite decor stores to shop at, but with all the hours we've logged at the retailer, we couldn't help but wonder what it's like to be on the other side of the cash register. Lucky for us, we didn't have to wonder long as POPSUGAR copy editor Rachel Crowley worked at Pier 1 for four years as a sales associate and manager. She gave us the inside scoop on what happens behind the scenes. Check out what she had to say below.
The 33 Most Spectacular Holiday Decor Items From Pier 1 Won't Break the Bank
9 DIYs That Prove Kallax Shelves Are Ikea's Most Versatile Product Ever
19 Things You Never Knew About HomeGoods
Christmas Starts in July
"At the beginning of July, we would get to see everything Christmas," says Rachel. "They'd give us a sneak preview of the Christmas stuff, like, 'These are the fun things that are new this year for us. These are the scents we're going to carry.'" By September, she says, they start rolling out the first Christmas decor shipments in store, usually staring with candles and moving on to dining and then all the decorative pillows and decor.
There's So Much Glitter
One of the worst parts of the job is the glitter, Rachel says. It comes off the products and gets everywhere. "There use to be a season from around September to February that was all about glitter. You'd take it home on your clothes and find it in your car and even your sheets somehow."
New Shipments Arrive in Regular Weekly Intervals
Want to be the first to check out new arrivals? Find out when your store receives its new shipments. Most stores get two shipments a week, but some get up to three, Rachel says. Each store receives their shipments on the same days each week.
Different Stores Get Different Items
If you don't find what you want in your neighborhood store, look online or go to a different store, preferably a bigger one. "Sometimes the smaller stores won't get as much stuff or they'll each get different collections of furniture," Rachel says, adding that "bigger stores might get a lot of the brand-new stuff that doesn't make it to the smaller stores while some might get Hanukkah stuff and others won't."
Employees Get First Dibs on the Best New Stuff
"You end up buying a lot of stuff when you work there," says Rachel, who cites early access to all the goods. Employees often scope out the new shipments as they're unloaded, picking out the best new stuff. "Sometimes it took a couple weeks before an item would actually make it out to the floor because our associates would just keep buying it."
Most Employees Work Less Than 20 Hours a Week
While those working part-time and full-time hours were able to take advantage of Pier 1's benefits package, many of Pier 1's employees work limited hours, meaning less than 20 hours a week. Rachel says managers are the only employees who work full-time.
The Employee Discount Is Awesome
One of the biggest perks of working at Pier 1 is the discount. Rachel says all employees get a 25 percent discount, which is added on top of sale pricing. Now we understand why so many people want limited hours - it's the perfect way to fund your home makeover!
You Have to Be in Good Shape
This job is more physically demanding than most people expect. In order to be hired, you must be able to lift heavy objects, like pieces of furniture and boxes of decor, and stand all day. "You don't sit behind the register," Rachel explains. "I would be standing on a ladder and pulling a chair off the shelf and over my head in 2-inch heels."
Displays Look the Same Everywhere
There's very little variation between the appearance of stores. Rachel explains, "They give you seasonal planners every three months. You get a new one and it shows you exactly what the display should look like. Each store does it a little bit differently, but generally we're all supposed to run off the same plan on having things in the same order so that stores are fairly familiar to you when you walk in."
They Have a Generous Return Policy
Items can be returned within 45 days of original purchase, and up to 60 for My Pier 1 Rewards members. "We're pretty generous as long as it doesn't look super used or something like that," Rachel says.
A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way
If you go out of your way to treat Pier 1 employees nicely, they're more likely to go out of their way for you. Rachel says a good attitude is contagious and will go a long way to help if you want to rush an order or locate coupons.
Employees Get 3 Things When They Start
A handy apron, a personal box cutter, and measuring tape are issued upon hiring. While there's no formal uniform beyond that for associates, closed toed shoes like flats or low heels and black or white shirts were standard. Managers are identifiable because they don't have an apron and wear more formal clothes, such as slacks instead of jeans.
If You Love Being Terrified, We Have Good News: There Will Definitely Be an It Sequel
It, the highly anticipated silver-screen remake of Stephen King's truly terrifying story, doesn't hit theaters until Sept. 8, but we're already soaking up details about the horror film's sequel. The good news? A second installment of the story is definitely happening. The bad news? It might take a while for us to see part two in theaters.
Like King's 1986 horror novel, It will be split in two, following two timelines from the late 1950s and the late 1980s. The earlier story recounts a memorable Summer for the young members of the "Losers Club" - a group of preteen misfits who come together to defeat an evil entity that takes the form of Pennywise the Clown, also known as the titular It, lurking in their town - and the second follows the gang as adults, when they must return to their old stomping grounds for a final, brutal showdown. The first film, It, is focused solely on the Losers Club's younger years, so how will the sequel shake out?
In an interview with Yahoo Movies, director Andy Muschietti revealed that the sequel will explore the cosmic dimension introduced in King's book and take place in 1989. "I really wanted to focus on the emotional journey of the group of kids," Muschietti said. "Getting in to that other dimension - the other side - was something that we could introduce in [the sequel] . . . In the book, the perspective of the writing is always with the Losers [Club], so everything they know about Pennywise is very speculative and shrouded in absurdity, so I wanted to respect that mystery feeling of not knowing what's on the other side."
Since diving into the cosmic dimension will be heavy on CGI (and therefore on the studio's budget, as well), Muschietti explained his choice to save it for part two. "I wanted to leave something for the second half, so I didn't want to get in trouble with that - going into the macroverse or that transdimensional stuff - and keep it grounded, from the point of view of the kids. There's another movie to expand into that," he said. "Also, there's a physical truth that it's a movie that has a budget. And I didn't want to get into a depiction of a realm that fucks up our budget, the creation of a world that will basically suck up half of our budget, and would have to sacrifice a lot of things."
Unfortunately, an official date for the sequel is still TBD. With part one of It arriving in theaters in September, though, we can probably expect the second installment to drop in 2019. In the meantime, there are plenty of other horror movies for you to obsess over!
