Rejoice: The Exact Premiere Date For Game of Thrones Season 8 Has Been Revealed
We were just short of giving up on ever getting a premiere date for Game of Thrones season eight, when, after what's felt like an eternity, HBO revealed the exact date and time during its broadcast of True Detective on Jan. 13. Luckily, the eighth and final season is closer than ever: April 14 at 9 p.m.!
Finding out the premiere date has been a long and torturous process for many GOT fans, who first got a taste of when to expect it when Maisie Williams (aka Arya Stark) gave an interview in 2018 to UK-based paper Metro, where she reportedly said the first episode would drop in April 2019. She later retracted her quotes in a tweet, claiming that her quotes were "completely false and taken from an interview" she did years earlier. HBO didn't acknowledge the rumor until November 2018, when we got an official confirmation of the premiere month via the Game of Thrones Twitter account.
So, while it's been really, really long since we've had Arya, Sansa, Jon, Dany, and the rest of the crew back on our screens, there's only three months (or so) to go. Once you've marked your calendars for April 14, feel free to kill time by diving into all the wild, insane, and so-good-they-better-be-true theories about Game of Thrones season eight or by taking our character quiz.
4 Horror Movies Coming Back to Haunt Us With Reboots in 2019
There are some truly terrifying films set to hit the big screen next year, but surprisingly, some of the scariest-looking ones are based on stories that we already know. While it's true that some reboots are major flops, great remakes can pay the perfect tribute to cinematic classics, and no remakes work as well as horror flicks. This year saw resurrections of everything from 1977's Suspiria to 1978's Halloween, and 2019 promises a whole new batch of old movies rising from the dead.
Unfortunately, while the The Crow was initially slated for an October 2019 release, the project was put on hold as of May 2018 when star Jason Momoa and director Corin Hardy dropped out of the project. That said, here are all of the upcoming horror movie reboots you can definitely look forward to seeing in the next year.
A Very Hungover Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Made It to Critics' Choice: "This Was a Huge Mistake"
It's a feeling we all know far too well: you agree to plans in advance, and when the time finally comes, you're filled with deep regret. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend dealt with a heavy dose of said regret during Sunday night's Critics' Choice Awards. While many of us nursed our weekend hangovers on the couch alongside a big bottle of Gatorade, Chrissy and John got back into their finery and faced the wrath of the previous night's festivities on the red carpet. Just hours prior, the duo celebrated John's 40th birthday with a star-studded Casino Royale party.
Ahead of Sunday night's show, Chrissy shared hilarious videos noting that "this was a huge mistake." "Why oh why god did I agree to the people or critics choice whatever it is the night after John's party this was a big mistake huge yes this is a fancy problem," she wrote, also sharing a video of John watching the Eagles vs. Saints football game. John is nominated for best actor in a movie made for TV or limited series for his role in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. We have to say, for someone who was probably in need of a Glacier Freeze Gatorade, Chrissy looked stunning! See photos from John and Chrissy's night out ahead.
John Krasinski Dedicates His Critics' Choice Award to the Love of His Life, Emily Blunt
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were the ultimate power couple at the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday. After making us swoon with their appearance on the red carpet, the two showed off their sweet connection even further when their film, A Quiet Place, took home best sci-fi/horror movie. Krasinski, who directed and wrote the screenplay for the film, couldn't help but gush about his talented wife during his acceptance speech. "I got to make a movie about a love story, and a love letter to my kids, and I got to do it with the love of my life by my side," he said. "So, I'm pretty sure it doesn't get much better than that!" Aww! He really is Blunt's biggest fan.
Lady Gaga Chokes Up While Thanking Bradley Cooper at the Critics' Choice Awards
Lady Gaga knocked the socks off of pretty much everyone with her tour de force performance in A Star Is Born, which first hit theaters back in October. Now Bradley Cooper's musical drama has won another award for best song, and Gaga's acceptance speech at the Critics' Choice Awards was naturally an emotional, heartfelt affair. Gaga, wearing a truly stunning light pink gown, made sure to call out her costar and director, as well as her cowriters.
"Thank you for this beautiful award. This means the world to us. I'll never forget when we wrote this song together with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt," the 32-year-old actress told the audience, standing alongside songwriter Anthony Rossomando. "I'll never forget playing it for Bradley for the first time and seeing his face light up and then singing it live together, take after take . . . I was mesmerized both as myself and as my character Ally. I was basking in the brilliant transformation of Bradley into Jackson Maine, singing on his stage, and overwhelmed by the storytelling and power in his voice."
She went on to note the inspiration behind the song, which, if you've seen the film, is pretty beautiful. "This song is a conversation between men and women, asking each other questions about life . . . and the shallowness of a modern era," she said. "I'm so happy it resonated with you."
Scroll through photos from the Enigma star's acceptance speech ahead, then check out all the other lucky winners who took home an award at the big event on Sunday night.
Missy Elliott Makes History as the First Female Rapper Inducted Into Songwriters Hall of Fame
Missy Elliott's induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Jan. 12 proves the hustle is worth it. The Grammy Award-winning artist made history as the first female rapper and third rapper ever to receive the honor, following Jermaine Dupri's nomination last year and Jay-Z's in 2017.
Elliott shared her excited reaction to the news with Twitter followers on Saturday:
I want to CONGRATULATE all the AMAZING songwriters who have been inducted into the 2019 "Song Writers Hall of Fame🙌🏾🙌🏾 also those who were nominated because their body of work is AMAZING🙌🏾 I AM SO HUMBLY GRATEFUL to now be inducted also🙏🏾 I ❤️you all🤗 #SHOF2019 ✍🏾 pic.twitter.com/6LRHFoeVz1
- Missy Elliott (@MissyElliott) January 12, 2019
Fans of Elliott can reference her extensive list of solo hits, including "Get Ur Freak On," "Work It," and "Lose Control," but her songwriting on well-known tracks like Ciara's "1, 2 Step" is just as admirable. The Hall of Fame called Elliott a "groundbreaking solo superstar, pioneering songwriter-producer, and across-the-board cultural icon" and dubbed her one of the most significant female artists in contemporary music history. We have to agree - this is so well-deserved. Congrats to one Supa Dupa Fly lady!
Think You Haven't Heard of Eighth Grade Star Elsie Fisher? Think Again!
You probably vaguely remember your last year before entering high school. Between stressful parental relationships and typical teenage woes, it's high-key stressful. That sounds a lot like what Elsie Fisher's awkward character deals with in the film Eighth Grade, written by Bo Burnham.
In the film, Fisher plays Kayla, who, unlike us, grows up in the time of iPhones and Instagram. Since the film debuted in July, the actress has steadily gained critical acclaim for her role, including her recent win for best young actor or actress at the Critics' Choice Awards. Here's what you need to know about the talented 15-year-old.
- She has one sibling, Nathan. Younger brothers are just so much fun, aren't they? We love how close this sister-brother duo appear to be, and like most siblings, they tend to get into some shenanigans together!
- She's a total animal lover. Elsie has dogs and a cat named Judy (after Jimmy Neutron's mom), and, of course, they're all adorable!
- She isn't exactly new to the acting world. Ever see Despicable Me or Despicable Me 2? Elsie was the voice of Agnes. She has other roles under her belt, like the movie Training Wheels and TV shows Mike & Molly and Medium.
- She relates to her character in Eighth Grade. Elsie is a teenager growing up in an technology-driven world herself, so she brought a lot of her feelings into the film. In fact, the character's catch phrase, "Gucci," along with the 'OK' hand sign was something Fisher said all the time and it just worked for her character, too!
- She's proving her high school teacher so wrong. After filming wrapped for Eighth Grade, Elsie tried out for her high school play in Thousand Oaks, California . . . and she didn't get a part. This is the girl who wowed the crowd at Sundance Film Festival, so yeah, we hope she's not too upset about it.
Marvel's First Female Director Talks About Filming Captain Marvel: "It's Super Powerful"
Captain Marvel is shaping up to be one of Marvel's most remarkable releases ever. Inside the universe, we're about to meet one of the most powerful known heroes around, one who may be the key to defeating Thanos in our final destination: Avengers: Endgame. Outside of the universe, in our reality, Captain Marvel is making waves because it's the first Marvel film to be led by a female, with Brie Larson assuming the mantle. This fact about the film has obviously been one of its biggest driving external narratives, but did you know there's also a female director at the helm?
"What an amazing collaboration it is, between super powerful women and super awesome women, who are also really respectful and great."
To be specific, there's a duo at the helm of Captain Marvel. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck have teamed up for the film, and Boden's role as co-director is not to be diminished; this is the first time a woman is in the director's chair, at least when it comes to Marvel Studios. Last Summer, POPSUGAR visited the set of the film with a group of journalists, and we spoke at length with both directors about the project. But it was perhaps Boden's quote about this distinction - being Marvel's first female - that really left an impression.
"I feel incredibly honored to be given the opportunity to be here with this awesome group of people. It amazes me that I am the first female director to be doing one of their films," Boden told us during our visit. Naturally, though, she's trying to focus on anything but that fact. "I'm just kind of trying to tackle it like I would any other job. And the more I think about that stuff, the less focused I am. I'm just trying to work every day." But when it really all boils down, it seems Boden has absolutely loved the experience. "One of the things that I love about this movie is what an amazing collaboration it is, between super powerful women and super awesome women, who are also really respectful and great." And for that, I can really only think of two additional words: F*ck. Yeah.
Cole Sprouse Was So Cool and Casual at the Critics' Choice Awards, Jughead Would Be Jealous
Cole Sprouse was the epitome of cool and casual when he attended the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night. The Riverdale actor, who presented during the show, gave us major Jughead Jones vibes as he walked the blue carpet in a tux and his signature disheveled locks - seriously, that hair, though. After smoldering up a storm, the 26-year-old flashed a few smiles for the cameras as he posed with his Five Feet Apart costar Haley Lu Richardson.
Ashley Ate 6 Times a Day, Did CrossFit 6 Times a Week, and Completely Transformed Her Body
The amazing physical transformation of losing 62 pounds may be all you see in Ashley Mccormick's before-and-after photos, but the emotional changes that happened in just over a year are what really matter most. Keep reading to learn how Ashley beat her alcohol addiction and used CrossFit and a clean diet to undergo a complete transformation.

After a whirlwind of holiday parties and family get-togethers, the month of January can feel a bit anticlimactic. Not to mention cold and dark if you live in the Northeast like I do. So, how do you keep yourself motivated and positive during the month of January? I've compiled my top 10 tips to help you navigate and even look forward to the beginning of the year!
See Ya Later, Unicorn Cakes - Pinterest Predicts These 10 Food Trends Will Be Big in 2019
Food brings us all together - around the table, around the world. With more than 23 billion recipes and dining ideas to discover, Pinterest has got you covered from breakfast to late-night snacks. What's on the menu for 2019? Healthy, sustainable meals with unusual ingredients, according to what millions of people are searching on Pinterest. Here are the top 10 surprising food trends to look out for in 2019.
Why This Controversial Organizing Method Is Exactly What You Need
Letting go of clutter is hard to do. Anyone who has encountered the teachings of Japanese cleaning guru Marie Kondo knows that minimalism is currently all the rage; her housekeeping manual, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, has inspired legions of readers to throw away their unneeded belongings. And now her Netflix series, Tidying Up, is ushering in a new wave of devotees. We love all things related to organization and have to admit to clearing out our drawers and closets in a fit of aspirational tidying ourselves.
Not everyone, though, is on board with KonMari, the nickname Kondo gave her techniques. As with any good trend, there's a corresponding backlash. A writer for The New York Times extolled the virtues of living a life surrounded by things in an article called "Let's Celebrate the Art of Clutter." Plus, her stance on ridding your home of books that don't "spark joy" has had book-lovers up in arms.
Whether you're pro- or anticlutter, you must admit there's a certain calmness to be found in a well-organized drawer. Read through to see aspirational examples of Marie's method at work, and see if you aren't a little inspired to take a turn at organizing your own home.
Take Your Hot Chocolate From Good to Great With These Spiked Hot Cocoa Recipes
While some people love Winter and all the things that come with it (Skiing! Sweaters!), it's also the time of year where the cold makes you want to bundle up, put on a pair of cozy socks, and plop yourself on the couch. Luckily, there's another Winter staple to add to the mix: hot chocolate. Since childhood, the sweet treat is something to enjoy on a cold night or during a snow day. Now that we're all adults here, we can do what we want, and you know what that means? Boozy hot chocolate. Adding vodka, bourbon, or other liqueurs to hot cocoa elevates it to fancy cocktail level without losing its comforting traits.
So whether you're snuggling up solo under your blanket, with your sweet pet, or next to the person who makes your heart skip a beat, here are some spiked hot chocolate recipes that you'll want to make all season long.

This GENIUS New Tech Product Is For Parents Worried About Ever Losing Their Kids
While my 11-month-old baby hasn't mastered - or done anything close to mastering - the art of walking yet, I know that milestone isn't far off. And with walking comes a whole host of fun adventures and memories to be had. But with walking, unfortunately, also comes the very real fear many parents have that their children might accidentally wander off one day.
That's why one of the latest in baby tech devices is particularly exciting. The winner of this year's Babylist Best in Baby Tech Awards at CES, Jiobit ($100, plus $13/monthly), is the leading the way in tracking technology for families. It's an incredibly small and lightweight tracking device that can be worn on a child's belt loop, shoelace, or even hidden inside of a shirt. It syncs to an adult's phone so that they can track their kid anywhere - no distance limits!
"Parents like to keep their kids close in public crowded places, and Jiobit is an extra precaution and peace of mind for them," Lindsay Slutzky, CMO of Jiobit, told POPSUGAR. But the use goes far beyond just finding peace of mind in crowded places. "Many of our users are kids and adults with a special need, and for them this type of tech is a must have. Many children with autism have a tendency to [run away], so this can be a life saver."

The 75 Best Gift Ideas For 1-Year-Olds in 2019
The first year of a child's life can fly by in a flash. Before you know it, they're pulling themselves up on the couch, feeding themselves dinner, and maybe (if you're lucky) sleeping through the night. Whether the soon-to-be 1-year-old is your own kid or someone you know, they change a lot in the first 12 months developmentally and might be ready for new toys. If you want to stimulate them through art or books, or encourage them to learn how to walk, we have the best toys for the little ones.
The 1 Small Thing I Do to Keep My Entire Home Organized All Year Long
I live in an 800-square-foot apartment with my boyfriend and our two cats, and because it's a small space with not all that much storage, things tend to get out of order (and out of hand) pretty easily. I'm not a total neat freak, but I do like to keep things organized, so there's one specific method I've adopted in the time we've been living here to make sure that our home stays tidy, that we do the projects we said we would when we moved in, and that, as Marie Kondo would approve of, we are keeping only the things that "spark joy" around us.
Of course, there are daily, weekly, and monthly tasks - like unloading the dishwasher, changing the sheets, and scrubbing down the stove - that get done around the apartment, but for the other things, like organizing closets, sorting through clothes, and steaming a rug (aka things that you only do once a year, if that), I like to keep a broken-down list of tasks.
Last year, the first full year in our apartment, I made a list in January of the things I wanted to organize, clean, buy, and get rid of.
I Had My First Baby 11 Months Ago, and - Sigh - I Still Pee on Myself While Running
The first time I peed on myself while running, I was somewhere around eight weeks postpartum. Jogging in my neighborhood - slowly and unsure of each step - I wasn't the least bit surprised when just a few minutes into my workout, my thighs felt warm and wet. I didn't need to look down to investigate the root cause - there wasn't a chance in the world that sweat was the cause. I just shook my head and kept plodding along, assuming, of course, that it was a temporary thing, that I'd simply need to spend time rehabilitating my pelvic floor.
I'd delivered a big baby - 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and nearly 23 inches long - so I couldn't imagine a situation in which someone wouldn't be destroyed after that. Pee was no reason to stop working out. I'd just focus on rehabbing.
I bridged, I squatted, I kegeled. There wasn't a rug or wall in the house that wasn't being used for strengthening exercises. But the months continued, and the trickling kept, well, trickling. When Summer heat arrived and I had to wear shorts on my runs, things went from funny to uncomfortable. Running in wet shorts created chafing and rashes.
I save a ton of money on toilet paper.
Some people told me to try running with a pad on. "That just makes the problem worse," I'd say. Running with a soggy pad in between my legs sounded like something I would have done as a preteen out of sheer embarrassment. Pass.
It's been 11 months, and I think I've made some big strides. There are some runs on which, for whatever reason, I have complete control of my bladder, and nothing happens. Other times, though, I'm not that lucky, and I still pee all over myself.
There has been a long laundry list of athletic injuries that have slowed me down in my life, so I add this one to the pile. I feel lucky that I am healthy and can work out, and I'd choose fitness over bladder control any day. Plus, I save a ton of money on toilet paper.
25 Healthy Lunch Ideas For Teens That'll Replace Their Boring Turkey Sandwich Routine
Teens are busy kids - they're on sports teams, they stay after school for extracurriculars that'll look good on their college applications, they're doing their chores (you hope), they're constantly trying to put a dent in growing piles of homework, and they're going to after-school jobs, among any number of other things. It can be hard to make sure your busy kid is eating healthy while staying satisfied in the hunger department as they run around like chickens with no heads trying to stay on top of their schedules; so to ensure that lunch, the meal that carries them through the end of their school day until dinner, is a good one, we've compiled some of our favorite healthy recipes that are perfect for lunch bags.
Not only that, but your teen, if they have the precious time, can make some of these themselves. Check them out ahead - you're definitely going to want to make a bunch of these in bulk so you can eat them, too!

Costco Sells a 27-Pound Tub of Macaroni & Cheese Filled With 180 SERVINGS of Dinner
Have you ever been so hungry that all you want to do is take a shovel and dive into a bucket of pasta? Well, hungry folk and parents of children mid growth spurt, we have good news for you, and it comes straight from Costco, aka the only club we've cared about getting into since age 25. Costco is selling a 27-pound bucket of mac and cheese filled with 180 servings (!!!) of elbow pasta smothered in oozing cheddar cheese sauce.
The Chef's Banquet Macaroni & Cheese Storage Bucket ($90) has a 20-year shelf life, but don't let the timeline fool you - the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with a few noting they were "pleasantly surprised" with how it tasted. The bucket is listed under Costco's Emergency Kits & Supplies section, but parents, we all know how useful this bucket could be around dinner time. And if you think the wholesale retailer is messing around with this mac and cheese or its 7-pound tub of Nutella, we're going to need to see your membership card.
Costco's 27-pound mac and cheese bucket sold out after just a few hours of going viral, but Amazon is selling the same tub directly from the brand. However, the Chef's Banquet Macaroni & Cheese Food Storage ($150) is a bit pricier on Amazon, so before you purchase, take one good look at your kids, and ask them, just how hungry are you?!

Baby Shark Has a Valentine's Day Song, So You May Want to Cover Your Ears Until Feb. 15
If your kids are fans of Pinkfong's original "Baby Shark" song and loved the Christmas version, "Santa Shark," we have some good news: there's also a Valentine's Day jam aptly named "Valentine's Day Sharks."
The themed song features the same melody, characters, and doo, doo, doos, with the addition of hearts, valentine cards, and fresh lyrics about the Feb. 14 holiday. It's a sweet way to get your kids hyped for the lovey day and will give you a slight break from the original song (if we can even call it a break).
The original "Baby Shark" is making its debut on Billboard 100's Top 40 list on Jan. 12 - will "Valentine's Day Sharks" be next?
Pregnant Jessica Simpson Shares a Photo of Her Swollen Foot: "Help!!!!"
Jessica Simpson is pregnant with her third child, but that pregnancy glow isn't exactly extending from head to toe for the singer as of now. The 38-year-old mom of two shared a photo of her severely swollen left foot on Jan. 10 with the caption: "Any remedies?! Help!!!!"
As far as pregnancy symptoms go, swollen feet are pretty common, but they're definitely uncomfortable. Luckily, the mom's post was flooded with advice from fans. "Elevate your feet and drink lots of water! That happened to me with my son," one said. Another shared that Jessica should "Eat pineapple with honey," and a third added, "Elevate, ice it, and avoid salt."
Although there's no way to tell from a photo, another commenter wrote: "Preeclampsia! Go see your doctor! I had the same during my pregnancies. Take care girl." Even though swelling is common in pregnancy, there's also a risk that it could be a symptom of the condition, which is characterized by high blood pressure and protein in the urine and also causes slower blood flow to the placenta. Its symptoms can be easy to miss as they are similar to other pregnancy traits such as swelling, weight gain, and headaches.
Jessica's boots may have been made for walkin', but we're hoping she's sticking to some fluffy slippers until the swelling goes down!
This Genius Baby Carrier Means You'll Never Have to Put Them on Your Hip Again
I recently had to get very creative. I was in the middle of a 250-plus-mile road trip, just me and my daughter and our dog, when I had to go to the bathroom. I didn't want to carry the car seat into the bathroom with us, so I put her in her baby carrier and went to the bathroom with her like that, essentially sitting on my lap. It was weird, unusual, and, I'm guessing, one of the many things on-the-go parents come up with when strapped for time.
I wish I'd had the TushBaby Baby Carrier ($80) with me. Unlike traditional baby carriers where the child is completely strapped in like they're on a swing or amusement park ride, the TushBaby is more of an unrestricted seat. It's super easy to get them in and out (or on and off, rather), and it takes the weight off your arms and lower back. The belt fastens in a breeze, and you can place baby facing you or facing out. There are also pockets so you can store diapers, wipes, and anything else you might need. If you find baby carriers bulky and constricting, you'll definitely want to try this out.

A Trick That Keeps the House Clean and Gets Kids to Do Chores? Sign Us Up!
Whether you're trying to completely Marie Kondo your entire living space or are just determined to keep your head above water in the cleaning department, it never hurts to have a few toy-centric tricks up your sleeve. Recently, I stumbled upon a cleaning hack on Instagram involving a "toy jail" that pulls double duty: it keeps the house clean and gets your kids to do chores, and it's too clever not to share.
All you need is a large plastic bin and a permanent marker to get your point across. "TOY JAIL," it reads. "You left it out and I picked it up, I've got your stuff and you're out of luck, to get it back please do a chore, then it's yours just like before."
Yep, it's flippin' genius. Now all we need is the Marie Kondo stamp of approval, right?!

Though we spotted plenty of colorful dresses, some of our favorite celebrities continued to wear black as Hollywood actors and actresses raised awareness about sexual harassment and drummed up support for the #TimesUp initiative, which is something they're still doing in 2019. Go on and clap for all the 2018 dresses as you prepare for a new round of looks.

Dev Patel and Armie Hammer Bring a Terrifying True Story to Life in the Hotel Mumbai Trailer
The terrifying true story of the 2008 siege on Mumbai's Taj Hotel has gotten the movie treatment, but fortunately, the film has the perfect cast to bring such a gripping tale to the big screen.
Hotel Mumbai stars Lion's Dev Patel as Arjun, a waiter working in Mumbai's prestigious Taj Hotel, who finds himself banding together with staff members like renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Anupam Kher), as well as guests, when a group of terrorists descends on the city, setting off bombs and shooting machine guns in the streets. When a pair of the armed gunmen arrive in the hotel, Arjun and Hemant cross paths with a couple (Call Me By Your Name's Armie Hammer and Homeland's Nazanin Boniadi) desperate to keep their infant son alive, and all of them realize they'll have to make unthinkable sacrifices to keep their loved ones safe.
Watch the trailer for the Anthony Maras-directed film above, and keep an eye out when it arrives in theaters on March 22.

Jennifer Lopez Has No Business Making 2 Basic Black Bodysuits Look This Damn Good
Jennifer Lopez is starting off her year with another outstanding magazine cover. The actress and singer was recently revealed as the star of Harper's Bazaar's February 2019 issue all about love and relationships - fitting, given that she's about to celebrate two years with Alex Rodriguez. While she's wearing an architectural Gucci mini on the cover, it's the simpler black bodysuits that caught our attention.
In one striking shot shown ahead, Jennifer is leaping off a diving board in a Saint Laurent bodysuit - a risky maneuver if you consider the prominent cutout on the front! Jennifer also wears a different Saint Laurent bodysuit, which features a plunging neckline and high-cut sides. In the confident shot, the bodysuit is paired with ankle-strap shoes by the brand and a De Beers diamond necklace. See the breathtaking photos ahead before the issue hits newsstands on Jan. 22.

These Are the Best CBD Beauty Products Hitting Shelves in 2019
We're living in high times, because by the end of 2018, a lengthy list of beauty products containing the nonpsychoactive CBD oil and cannabis sativa seed oil (aka hemp oil) - which, yes, there is a difference between the two - had taken over beauty aisles, slowly shredding the stigma around cannabis-infused beauty. The trend has continued to creep its way into 2019, with more beauty brands rolling out products containing these two buzzy ingredients.
Ahead, see our favorites that are hitting shelves this year.

Regina George Would Think Kylie Jenner's Fashion Nova Sweater Is Like, Really Pretty
Kylie Jenner has made it clear many times over that she's a big fan of Fashion Nova. But on Wednesday, Jan. 9, Kylie paired two separates from the brand, altogether ringing in at just $65. Of course, that's not counting the furry Fendi bag, which costs over $1,000. Nevertheless, we do appreciate the fact that Kylie shows her fans how she mixes high and low fashion on the regular, and we appreciate her Mean Girls reference even more. "On Wednesdays" Kylie captioned her photo, causing us to immediately finish the phrase with "we wear pink." In fact, we can actually see Gretchen Wieners or Regina George styling Kylie's cropped, furry sweater with a miniskirt, and you know what that means - get in loser, we're going shopping.
An Expert Answers If the Keto Diet Will Help You Lose Weight, and His Response Shocked Us
The high-fat, low-carb ketogenic diet was arguably the most popular diet in 2018. The Hottest Workout of 2019 Is Coming to a Living Room Near You
Looking ahead to 2019, we think we already know exactly how everyone's going to be working out. While gyms and boutique studios will certainly still have their place, we predict the hottest workout next year will be the one in your living room.
Sure, on-demand, at-home, and live-stream workouts aren't exactly new, but they're about to be bigger, better, and more en vogue than ever thanks to a number of factors. For starters, millennials - the largest, most fitness-obsessed generation - are becoming parents by the million each year, meaning their schedules are going to get a lot busier (read: way less free time for workouts).
Aside from the megainfluence millennials have on cultural trends (particularly when it comes to fitness), we expect that the money being funneled into this new sector of the fitness industry will help to better serve smaller markets that major, trendy fitness chains have overlooked. With on-demand, in-home workouts, you don't have to wait for an Equinox or SoulCycle to open up in your town - you get access to elite trainers digitally, from the comfort of your living room. Here are 12 you'll want to choose from in 2019.
These Low-Carb Recipes Cook in Just 1 Pan, and What Else Could You Want, Really?
The problem with cooking is it just requires so much work. At the same time, making healthy meals at home is essential, especially when you're trying to stick to a strict plan like the low-carb, high-fat ketogenic diet. Here's the good news: weeknight meals don't have to be a huge hassle. Sheet pan recipes - like the ones you'll find here - require minimal prep and clean-up. Why? As the name implies, you simply throw your ingredients on a single pan (who doesn't love a one-dish wonder?), stick it in the oven, and, just as quickly, dinner is served. Keep reading to see the magic for yourself.

This Photographer's Photo Series Shows Just How Badass Nurses Really Are
When photographer Katie Lacer first started taking pictures of the labor, delivery, and postpartum nurses who rush to the sides of women during the birthing process, she never thought it would spread like wildfire on social media. Lacer explained how the idea came into play to POPSUGAR:
"I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. For me, it's the anonymity. Those can be any mother's legs, with any nurse, in any hospital. Anyone that has welcomed a baby knows that moment, and we can all relate to it."
The photo series began picking up some serious speed when Facebook user Baby Rabies shared one of Lacer's photos thanking nurses for all they do.
The photographer says she's barely been able to keep her emotions at bay, but she loves capturing everything else that goes into a birth story:
"I call it 'hormotional'. I'm so overwhelmed (in the best way possible) and I'm thrilled that it's gotten such an amazing response. My ultimate goal as a photographer is to make people feel something, and I think that these images do that. It's real and vulnerable and shows that there's more to a birth story than a baby."
Here's a look at Lacer's full series.
Stormi Webster's Reaction to Her New Purse Is the Exact Level of Diva I Plan to Be in 2019
Somebody get this girl a pair of oversize sunglasses and car keys to swing around her finger, because Stormi Webster is the cutest little diva we've ever seen! Kylie Jenner recently shared an Instagram video of her 11-month-old daughter receiving a mini Louis Vuitton purse, and it's pretty much the same reaction I have anytime someone gives me attention. Earlier in the day, Stormi's aunt Kim Kardashian posted a photo of eight mini purses, writing, "I got these for all of the baby girls in the fam for Xmas from Japan," and for the first time ever, I wished I were a toddler.
We all know the reality of a "shopper's high" feeling after making a well-deserved purchase, and although this was a gift, Stormi's face says it all. Based on her reaction alone, this cutie has some great taste in purses, and it's absolutely not the first time she's stunned in designer brands. From Stormi's Burberry Winter coat to her Fendi stroller, Kylie's been dazzling her daughter in high-end brands since she was born. I'm just wondering why my aunt never thought to get me a mini Louis purse before my first birthday?!

22 Winter Outfits For Small-Chested Girls That Are Flattering as Hell
Having no cleavage isn't really the end of the world - especially when it comes to choosing an outfit. In fact, it just means you can get away with wearing a lot more layers than girls who are a little fuller on top, without appearing frumpy. You can go braless, opt for bodysuits and dresses that are low cut, or even try backless styles. What's not to love about that? If you're looking for a little inspiration on fashionable outfits to wear in the wintertime, we've turned to some of our favorite bloggers to show you how it's done.
Gal Gadot's Sexy Black One-Piece Could Replace Her Wonder Woman Outfit, and We'd Be Fine
Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot enjoyed a lavish vacation with her best friends in the Maldives, and let's get real, that's the best kind of trip to pack for. All six ladies, including Israeli actresses Rotem Sela, Yael Goldman, and Maya Dagan, wore the chicest suits and posed for pics on the beach. Gal's makeup-free shot, however, made us forget all about the Instagram scrolling we originally had on the agenda.
The 33-year-old star flaunted a black one-piece with a splice across the midriff, and it wasn't just made for swimming but some relaxing yoga, too. The sophisticated design came in a one-shoulder silhouette, highlighting Gal's toned figure and showing just enough skin. It's no surprise she found a perfectly effortless look for her getaway and even less of a surprise that we're scooping up a similar one right now.
People Can't Stop Talking About This Sneaky Airpods Live Listen Hack, and Its Creepy Uses
I feel like everyone's mom or grandma when I say "technology is WILD for the kids these days" - but it's true! Seems like every single day there's an undiscovered iPhone user hack or screen time secret that changes the way people use their devices. But rarely do we see a hack quite so sneaky (or spine-tingling) as this one, which uses the Airpods Live Listen feature.
This tool was originally designed as an accessibility function for those who need to enhance voices, but as Twitter user @arnoldcrndo pointed out, it can also be used to hear conversations in a room where you've left your phone behind. Simply go into your Settings, select "Control Center," customize your controls to include "Hearing," and choose "Live Listen." Afterward, you can walk away from your iPhone in a crowded room and hear amplified sound through the microphone.
Now, I love to eavesdrop as much as the next person (and judging by what I hear them whispering right now, probably more), but I'm definitely not endorsing the use of Airpods in this way. In fact, I have mixed feelings about this hack, and based on the reactions on social media, I'm not alone. Ahead, see what people are saying about this feature, and let's leave the super-sleuthing to the professionals, shall we?
Women Will Bear the Brunt of the Government Shutdown - Here's Why
This Friday, Jan. 11, should be payday for federal workers - but 800,000 federal workers impacted by Donald Trump's shutdown won't see a paycheck; they'll see their savings dwindle and their families' financial security jeopardized. Many will struggle to pay rent or make mortgage payments, buy food at the grocery store, or afford their medication. All for a totally avoidable and completely pointless shutdown that Donald Trump could end today by giving up on his racist wall and agreeing to the bipartisan legislation that has already passed Congress.
Union workers rally in DC on Jan. 10, 2019.
Women make up the majority of the federal workforce, and in this country, 81 percent of working women live paycheck to paycheck - meaning women are already the hardest hit.
But the shutdown's impact goes beyond pay for federal workers. The one in three American women who experience sexual violence in their lifetimes, the women who rely on government support programs to make ends meet, and the indigenous women who rely on the Indian Health Service will be harmed in the ways they need the most support: health care, food, and housing.
Due to the shutdown, last month Congress failed to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act, which funds programs that support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, including domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers. While current grants already awarded under the law will not be affected, future grant requests could be delayed, cutting off critical services survivors rely on.
Like most GOP policies, the Trump shutdown impacts women of color, indigenous women, and working class women the most. The Indian Health Service (IHS) - a Department of Health and Human Services program that provides health care to over 1 million American Indian and Alaska Native women - has already stopped receiving federal funding. According to Indian Country Today, 54 percent of the IHS budget goes directly to "tribes, urban programs, and nonprofits for clinics, hospitals, and medical services in Indigenous communities." Healthcare programs for indigenous communities are already severely underfunded, and indigenous women are more likely to be uninsured than any other group. Cutting funding, even temporarily, will severely exacerbate the issue.
And as President Trump digs in his heels and perpetuates this unnecessary government shutdown, more devastating impacts will come within weeks for women and children. Federal funding for food assistance programs Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program For Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is only guaranteed through February. If the shutdown continues and states can't fill in the gap, 32 million working class women, mothers, and children could lose access to affordable food and formula.
Trump's shutdown also puts millions of working class families on the brink of eviction. In a last-ditch effort to protect public housing and Section 8 tenants, the Department of Housing and Urban Development sent a plea to 1,500 landlords, asking them not to evict people who would no longer receive federal rental assistance due to the shutdown. Women, who are increasingly the sole breadwinners and heads of households, will suffer the most. Seventy-five percent of public housing and Section 8 households are women-headed.
For now, these programs are staying afloat because of state and local sources of funding, but funding varies from state to state and a lengthy federal shutdown would force millions of women to scramble to find housing, food, and health care.
And as Trump's manufactured shutdown over a fake "national security emergency" at the border is punishing working women, let us not forget the immigrant women and children who are being held in federal detention in inhumane conditions, are still being separated from their families, and are being barred from asylum from unimaginable violence and suffering.
Donald Trump and Senate Republicans can and should end all of this today. Because here is the bottom line: women can't afford this shutdown. And women should not have to suffer more for Trump's pursuit of a racist and ineffective policy.
