The Bittersweet Detail You May Have Missed in the Season Finale of A Million Little Things

Warning: spoilers for A Million Little Things ahead!

The season finale of A Million Little Things answers a lot of lingering questions about Jon's connection to Barbara Morgan and the events leading up to his death. The most stunning reveal of all: Barbara dated Jon's friend and roommate Dave, who died on American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane to strike the World Trade Center on September 11.

Jon was also supposed to be on that flight, traveling with his friend to a real estate conference in Los Angeles, but missed his opportunity to board when he ran to a shop in the airport to buy a bottle of wine. He pleaded with an airline employee to open the door, but she insisted that it was against policy. Moments later, we see the two of them watching the horrors of that day unfold together, and the camera briefly focuses on her name tag: Sophie, the name of Jon's teenage daughter.

Barbara tells Jon's wife, Delilah, that she gave him 17 more years, but what neither of them know is that it was Sophie who first saved his life. The quiet way he honored her is one of the most poignant moments of the finale - and just another reason we can't wait for the show to return for a second season.

You'll Never Watch a Marvel Film the Same Way After Seeing This Behind-the-Scenes Video

Watch a Marvel film like Avengers: Infinity War or Guardians of the Galaxy for all of one minute, and you'll realize the movies in the superhero action franchise require quite a bit of CGI to make them look the way they do. But just how much CGI? Thanks to a wildly interesting video from GamesRadar, we're beginning to find out.

Using behind-the-scenes footage from filming the blockbusters alongside the finished product from all the major films in the MCU, the video is proof that without the highly advanced CGI used to create everything from the Hulk's jawline and suspiciously plucked brows to the way Spider-Man is able to fling himself off of the top of the Washington Monument with ease, the universe we know and love simply wouldn't exist.

I mean, just look at how much detail they layer in to this shot of Gamora (Zoe Saldana) chillin' on a faraway planet!

And because we always forget that the A Star Is Born big shot is actually the voice of Rocket Raccoon, there's even footage of Bradley Cooper giving the sarcastic character his signature snark.

Watch the video above, and prepare for your jaw to hit the floor.

Good Morning, Indeed! Solange Is Here to Soothe Your Soul With Another Ethereal Album

Solange Knowles has descended to deliver another heavenly album. At midnight on March 1 - the cusp between Black History Month and Women's History Month, likely not coincidental - the singer released a highly anticipated follow-up album to 2016's well-received A Seat at the Table. When I Get Home explores similar themes of race, identity, and self-care. It's also an ode to her hometown of Houston, with one of the standout songs named after the city's Almeda neighborhood.

"Almeda" features the welcome addition of Playboi Carti, while Sampha and Gucci Mane are also featured on the album. Make no mistake, however: the 19-track album is as Solange as can be with its self-reflective lyrics, breathy harmonies, strategic samples, and smoothest transitions known to man.

Hours before the release of When I Get Home, Solange tweeted, "I can't thank y'all enough for this moment and for all the feelings i feel in my body." She added, "I'm bringing home w me everywhere I go yalll and I ain't running from sh*t no more." In the hours that followed, fans online celebrated Solange's journey as an artist and praised the album's healing properties in a reprise we'll likely hear for the year to come.

Khloé Kardashian Slams Jordyn Woods Interview: "You ARE the Reason My Family Broke Up!"

The drama surrounding Jordyn Woods, Khloé Kardashian, and Tristan Thompson just got a whole lot messier on Twitter, and we have a feeling things aren't going to calm down for quite some time.

On Friday, Jordyn - who was recently accused of sleeping with Tristan, who's the father of Khloé's child, and therefore splitting them up - sat down with longtime family friend Jada Pinkett Smith on her Red Table Talk series to set the record straight about the scandal. Aside from a kiss, Jordyn categorically denies that anything happened between her and the NBA player.

"Never. Never a thought, never a consideration," the model and BFF of Kylie Jenner replied when Jada asked if she ever had sex with him. "Never happened. And never will I. That's why I'm willing to be put up to the test. Attach me to a lie detector, whatever it is. I need people to know the truth, and more importantly, I need the people involved to know the truth."

Things got even more emotional when Jordyn began talking about Khloé. "I know I was trying to protect Khloe's heart," Jordyn said while wiping away tears. "She doesn't deserve this, either. People have even dehumanized her in this situation to the point where they can't feel for her. It's not fair that she has to deal with this, either. The last thing I wanted to do was be that person. I'm no homewrecker. I would never try to hurt someone's home. Especially someone that I love, who has a beautiful daughter . . . I don't need your situation."

Unfortunately, it seems Khloé isn't buying it. Shortly after Jordyn's interview went live, the reality star responded on Twitter, writing that she doesn't believe Jordyn and blames her for breaking up her family. She also touched on how Tristan is reportedly dealing with the situation "PRIVATELY," which is why she's so mad about Jordyn confessing all of this on camera.

Funnily enough, Jada did explicitly ask Jordyn if she thinks she's the reason Tristan and Khloé aren't together, and Jordyn was firm about why she's not.

"I know I'm not the reason why Tristan and Khloé are not together," she said. "Now this situation may have made it harder for her to want to be with him, and I understand that, but I know I'm not the reason."

Feather Out Your Mullets - Jimmy Fallon and Weezer Go Full '80s to Perform "Take On Me"

In a truly retro leap back to the '80s, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots teamed up with Weezer to perform A-ha's "Take On Me" with classroom instruments on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Now, we all know that there is nothing that could best the animation perfection that is the music video for "Take On Me." The transitions from live-action to pencil-sketch animation (which is called rotoscoping, so there's your new fact of the day)? Innovative. The romantic fantasy story that brings our main character into the world of the hero? Riveting. Those feathered coiffed dos? Inimitable!

But we have to admit, Fallon and Weezer do a pretty impressive job paying tribute to the iconic hit. Not only is everyone decked out in some serious '80s regalia and new wave haircuts, but the crew also gets animated, just like the music video! Sadly, they don't re-create the chase scene, but it's still a very cool video anyway. Check out the performance ahead!

John Mulaney and Pete Davidson Play a Round of True Confessions, and Things Get Weird AF

On Thursday night, John Mulaney and Pete Davidson stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play a round of True Confessions. The former and current Saturday Night Live team members and Jimmy each revealed an . . . interesting fact about their past, and the others tried to guess whether or not it's true. The game immediately started off on a startling note with John stating that one of his previous neighbors in New York was a cannibal. Casual, right? But that's just one of the shocking things - which may or may not be true - that came up during the game. Watch the clip above to see if John was being honest about his neighbor, if Pete randomly went to Jamaica with SNL creator Lorne Michaels during his first season on the show, and more!

10 Truth Bombs Jordyn Woods Just Dropped About the Khloé and Tristan Scandal

Jordyn Woods has finally broken her silence since the scandal between her and the father of Khloé Kardashian's daughter, Tristan Thompson, first hit headlines. In case you didn't know, at the end of February, news broke that Tristan had cheated on Khloé - the mother of their nearly 1-year-old daughter, True - with Jordyn. Soon, a full-fledged online attack launched against Jordyn, notably led by Khloé's friends Malika Haqq and Larsa Pippen.

But on Friday's episode of Red Table Talk, Jordyn sat down to tell her side of the story (which Khloé has since responded to). She was joined by the show's host, Jada Pinkett Smith, who has known Jordyn her whole life and was friends with Jordyn's late father, John Woods, a sound engineer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Jordyn and Jada both got emotional while discussing the occurrence, its aftermath, and how it's affected Jordyn's personal life. Read on to see some of the standout quotes from Jordyn's tell-all interview.

Seeing Will and Kate Pull Perfect Pints Makes Me Think They Were *Really* Fun in College

Kate Middleton and Prince William are a couple of royally good bartenders. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed off their perfect pint-pulling skills during a visit to the Empire Music Hall in Belfast on Feb. 27, as part of their two-day royal tour of Northern Ireland. They kicked off the party with some Harp Lager, and celebrated young people who are making a difference in the country.

The evening celebration came after a busy day of soccer and canoe racing for the royal couple. While Kate and William might have royal protocol to follow, there are no rules against kicking back and having a good time every once in a while - especially with a cold beer. Above, watch a video of their night behind the bar, and stay tuned for more inevitably cute moments during their upcoming visits to Fermanagh and Ballymena.

A Million Little Things: The Season Finale Answers the Most Haunting Question About Jon

Warning: Spoilers for A Million Little Things ahead!

A Million Little Things has already been renewed for season two, which is excellent news considering we're going to need plenty more episodes of the ABC drama to deal with all of the tragic revelations that are uncovered in season one's emotional finale.

Not only do we get an answer about Barbara Morgan, but we also find out why Jon (Ron Livingston) kills himself in the show's very first episode, setting off the chain of events that have all led up to this moment. In short, Jon was plagued with survivor's guilt. But before we get to that, let's back up and review how the group of friends got to that point.

In "Goodbye," Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) takes a big step toward moving on from her husband's death by giving away some of his things to his friends. While doing so, however, Sophie (Lizzy Greene) ends up showing Gary (James Roday) an old picture of "Emma," who is - drumroll please - Barbara Morgan. Delilah is hesitant to go to her home and stir up trouble, but when Sophie says this could be her only chance to figure out why Jon killed himself, she relents and pays Barbara a visit.

Barbara explains that when she and Jon were younger, she dated Jon's roommate and best friend, Dave. Then, one weekend Jon had a real estate conference and convinced Dave to tag along, but Jon ended up missing the flight because he was grabbing a last-minute bottle of wine. (Yes, the same bottle he later tells Ashley in the apartment is the "biggest regret" of his life.) Dave made it on board, though, and Jon called him to say he'd grab the next flight out. But then we get the sucker punch of a twist when the camera hones in on the date on a newspaper: Sept. 11. Jon and Dave were supposed to be onboard American Airlines Flight 11 together, but only Dave made it, meaning he soon perished when the plane flew into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Jon and a flight attendant (named Sophie, FYI) watch the news in horror, crying.

Making things even more upsetting, Barbara was pregnant with Dave's child at the time, which Jon discovers when the pair meets up a few months after the crash on what would have been Dave's birthday. Barbara tells him that she's pregnant but has gotten engaged to a first responder, who plans on raising the child as his own. Jon is furious, telling her that it's too soon and that it's disrespectful to Dave's memory. They part on bad terms, and it's the last time they ever see each other.

When Jon walks away, he ends up at an airport bar, where he meets Delilah for the first time. They flirt, she gives him her number, and the rest is history. In the video message that Jon later sent Barbara before he killed himself - which she plays for Delilah - Jon says that he spent the past 17 years trying to ignore the pain he felt because D was the love of his life, and he decided to live for her. Unfortunately, the guilt became too unbearable for him in the end.

D explains it all to Gary and Maggie, who realize that Jon spent the rest of his life trying to save the lives of his new friends, since he couldn't save Dave. (Maggie also realizes that Gary has been trying to save her life, because he couldn't save Jon's.)

All in all, it's an emotional end as usual to ABC's most sob-worthy show. It will be interesting to see how season two deals with the fallout from all these new discoveries, from Jon's reason for committing suicide, to whether or not Barbara's son, Patrick (aka "PJ," aka Patrick JON!), will fully understand who his real father is after sneaking a glimpse of the video Jon left to his mom. Oh, boy.

Why George R.R. Martin Turned Down His Last Possible Chance to Have a Game of Thrones Cameo

Over the past seven seasons, Game of Thrones has slipped a number of high-profile cameos into its episodes, ranging from the subtle (Coldplay's Will Champion) to the painfully obvious (Ed Sheeran). But what about George R.R. Martin? Why hasn't the author of the bestselling A Song of Ice and Fire novels that inspired the HBO drama ever, popped up onscreen in some unrecognizable costume? Apparently he had a chance to appear in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which premieres on April 14, yet ultimately decided against it.

According to EW, the fantasy writer was invited to the set for a top-secret role by series showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, which would require traveling from his home in New Mexico to the season eight set in Northern Ireland, but Martin decided to focus on writing the long-awaited next installment in the Game of Thrones book series, The Winds of Winter. (I'm pretty sure I just heard a collective sigh of relief from impatient fans all over the world.)

"David and Dan invited me to a cameo in one of the final episodes, which I was tempted to do," Martin said. "But I didn't think just for the sake of a cameo I could take the time to return to Belfast."

Despite not filming a cameo for season eight, Martin technically still does have an onscreen moment in the show in the bank. In the first Game of Thrones pilot, which was later completely reshot with a few different cast members, he shared a scene with Tamzin Merchant, who was playing Daenerys at the time.

"There was a cameo in the original pilot that was cut," he explained. "I was a guest at Dany's wedding. But that was when she was played by Tamzin Merchant so all that footage got thrown out when we recast with Emilia Clarke."

Since fans of his novels have been waiting for the next book for eight years now, hopefully the extra time at home was enough to help Martin get closer to completing the sixth novel in his saga. For the record, there's also a seventh novel, A Dream of Spring, in the works, so maybe by the time that's finished Martin can make a cameo in HBO's star-studded prequel series, which starts production this Summer.

Like Any Great Love Story, Cardi B and Bruno Mars Flirt Over Tacos in the "Please Me" Video

Cardi B and Bruno Mars fell in lust late at night at a taco restaurant somewhere in Los Angeles. That's the very premise for the "Please Me" music video . . . as well as our forthcoming fan fiction. In the fun and unabashedly corny video, the two stars tease each other from across the room with their respective crews, before leaving the joint to drive off in their respective convertibles. The Notebook could never!

The sexy song is the duo's second song together: Cardi and Mars previously released the '90s-inspired song "Finesse" together, which they performed at the 2018 Grammy Awards. Cardi was even slated to open for Mars on his 24K Magic Tour, but she pulled out to focus on being a mom to her newborn daughter, Kulture. As a sweet tribute, Mars then vowed to play "Bodak Yellow" on each night of the tour.

Miley Cyrus Sang the Hannah Montana Theme Song in a New Video, and 13-Year-Old Me Is Crying

Not only have the Jonas Brothers given us Disney flashbacks with their reunion and latest single, but Miley Cyrus is also getting in on the throwback action.

On Thursday, the 26-year-old singer posted a video of her at a screening for the season 11 premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race - in which she's a guest judge - and of course "Best of Both Worlds" is playing in the background as competitors lip sync for their lives. The tune is best known as the theme song for Cyrus's old Disney show Hannah Montana (and Hannah Montana Forever), which has now been off the air for eight years.

In Cyrus's recent clip of her listening to the nostalgic jam, she's seen rocking out to the beat in a voluminous ruffly skirt, and it looks like she still remembers every single word - which, you know, made my heart burst with joy. Between this and the Jonas Brothers, my inner teenage self is freaking out. So, excuse me while I go listen to Hannah Montana's 2007 bop "We Got the Party" (the version featuring the Jonas Brothers, of course).

Lumos! A Dark Arts Light Show Is Coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Grab your wands, and prepare to do battle with the most wicked creatures at Hogwarts, because the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is under attack by Death Eaters and dementors alike - and it's up to you to stop them! For two weeks only, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are inviting guests to experience the moody side of magic and take part in a breathtaking light projection show called the "Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle." A darkness has engulfed Hogwarts, and sinister creatures like mountain trolls, giant spiders, and even Lord Voldemort himself are expected to make an appearance in this magical display of light, music, and special effects, bringing the villains of the Harry Potter films to life.

Located in a surround-sound environment, the light show production will also be accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement based on the films' original scores and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra. Unlike "The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle" and "The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle," "Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle" will be a more intense and dramatic experience, shedding some light on the other side of the wizarding world. As the visage of Lord Voldemort haunts visitors and Aragog wreaks havoc on the castle, only the power of the Patronus spell will be able to bring the light back to Hogwarts.

The all new Wizarding World spectacular will illuminate the exterior of Hogwarts castle nightly from April 13-28 and again from May 25-27 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Universal Orlando Resort dates have yet to be announced, but we can bet happiness can be found at Hogwarts in even in the darkest of times, "if one only remembers to turn on the light."

Drumroll, Please! The 2019 Gerber Baby Is Here, and She's Just Adorable

Every single year we wait in earnest to catch a glimpse of Gerber's annual spokesbaby. After all, we can't really imagine a cuter honor. And this year, the award for the 2019 Gerber Baby goes to Kairi Yang, a 15-month-old girl from Hickory, NC. She impressively beat out 544,000 other contestants, ranging from a few months old through age 4 for the yearly title.

"As soon as we saw her photo, we fell in love with Kairi's expressive eyes and angelic face, looking toward the future and being excited for all that it holds," said Bill Partyka, the president and CEO of Gerber, in a press release. "We believe that every baby is a Gerber baby, and this year, are thrilled to recognize Kairi as the new face of Gerber. It's been an incredible year celebrating our 2018 Spokesbaby Lucas Warren and his family, and we are excited to see the world fall in love all over again with our newest Spokesbaby."

And Kairi's parents, Ying Vue and Peter Yang - who are Hmong, an ethnic group with roots in both China and Southeast Asia - only had to walk a few steps to share the good news as the pair live with their parents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. "Hmong in our eyes is all about the close bonds we have with our relatives during life and afterlife," Ying told Today.

"When we first found out Kairi won, we were speechless and couldn't believe it. We are beyond thrilled that our sweet Kairi is Gerber's 2019 Spokesbaby," said Kairi's mom, Ying Vue. "Kairi's personality is larger than life, and she always maintains a spunky attitude. We hope Kairi's one-of-a-kind, entertaining personality and vibrant facial expressions radiate positivity around the world, just like she does in our home every single day!"

Watch Out For These Signs That Someone on a Dating App Is Married or Taken

If you're single and browsing the dating app world, you're probably in the market for other single ladies and fellas out there to chat with online. You're most likely not interested in meeting people who are in committed relationships or are married when browsing nonaffair sites like Tinder or Bumble. Unfortunately, you never know who is really behind that profile. Earlier this year, Tinder crashed nationwide, and there was a surge in Ashley Madison by 20 percent with new member sign-ups in both the US and the UK. Why? Well, according to a 2015 survey of around 1,282 active Tinder users (at the time there were around 50 million people on Tinder), nearly 30 percent of Tinder users are married, while another 12 percent are in a relationship. Yikes. While this was a small sampling, and who really knows if people tell the truth in those kinds of surveys, it is a good reminder to keep your guard up when you're dating online. Don't fall for liars on Tinder and other dating apps - prepare yourself with these tips. Here are the red flags to look out for that someone you meet on a dating site is either married or taken.

The New Game of Thrones Posters Hint That Jon Snow's Life Could Be in Serious Danger

The premiere of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is nearly upon us, and in anticipation of its debut, HBO has been busy getting fans suitably hyped with everything from stunning stills from the new episodes to an ominous teaser trailer. But it's the batch of regal new character posters that have us (and a few other fans) worried about Jon Snow's future on the fantasy epic. Will he survive long enough to claim the throne, or will he suffer a fate similar to that of his father/uncle, Ned Stark?

As you can see in the image on the above left, the season one poster for the show features the ill-fated Stark patriarch holding his sword and glancing towards the floor while sitting on the Iron Throne. It's remarkably similar to the recently released poster spotlighting Kit Harington's Jon Snow on the throne, who is posed nearly identically to the dearly departed Ned: he's holding his sword with two hands stacked on top of each other, his legs are slightly splayed, and he's leaning ever-so-slightly to the side.

There has been plenty of foreshadowing regarding Jon's character - especially since a weathered statue in the teaser seemed to hint that he would age into adulthood, presumably taking the throne - but is this similar pose in the poster a hint about what his fate will be by the time the six episodes wrap up (i.e. he has his head lopped off by a Lannister), or merely a coincidence? Perhaps it's simply a nod to his roots as a Stark (regardless of the Targaryen blood that also runs through his veins).

It is worth noting, though, that despite the similarities between Ned and Jon in the posters, there is one key difference. While Ned has his eyes turned downward, looking at the floor (and appears sad, almost), Jon is staring, defiantly, directly into the camera; one might read that as Ned being resigned to his fate from the beginning, whereas Jon is ready for a fight.

See the posters up close ahead to see if you spot any details we missed, and then keep scrolling to see what fans are saying about Jon and Ned's case of twinning, plus some of the other Stark posters.

The Bride Was the Belle of the Ball in This Beauty and the Beast-Themed Engagement Shoot

Lydia and Patrick celebrated their engagement by emulating Beauty and the Beast in this gorgeous themed photo shoot that took place at the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio. Photographer Sarah Babcock was there to capture these cute moments between the couple, and she said that the day was "a romantic cosplay Beauty and the Beast engagement session." Lydia wore a stunning golden gown with pleated detailing to channel her inner Belle, and it looked straight out of the Disney fairy tale. Patrick wore a royal blue tailcoat embellished with golden buttons and embroidery with matching pants and white knee-length socks.

The pair then swapped their costumes for matching baby-blue outfits to pose at a secondary outdoor location with an "And they lived happily ever after" sign to stick with the fairy-tale theme. Lydia even posed with some books, which was a nod toward Belle's love of reading in Beauty and the Beast. See the gorgeous photos from this fantastical engagement shoot ahead.

We Can't Stop LOLing Over These Dogs Who Called the Cops 16 Times Because They Wanted Attention

Remy and Bomber, two crafty pups from Minnesota, were recently up to no good. According to the Lakeville Police's Twitter account, the dogs were in dire need of attention last week. Their solution? Calling the local police department 16 times!

When local officers Michelle Roberts and Emily Bares arrived at the house, they were stumped. The door was locked and it seemed like no one was home. Regardless, the pair knew something was seriously up.

"By the time we got there they had gotten three more 911 calls in that span of time," Michelle told The Dodo. "In a couple of [the calls] they heard dogs barking in the background, but no human voices at all."

Determined to figure out what was wrong, the officers did a lap around the property as the calls kept coming in. Eventually, they found the homeowner's cell phone number and got their garage code.

"I was more concerned because I thought there was a human in there who can't talk or move and just keeps calling for help," said Michelle. "I never thought it was the dogs, that's for sure."

Finally, the police entered and were met with a surprising sight. "They barked at first and then they were a little timid," said Michelle. "But that didn't last very long. They just wanted to be pet and they were super friendly."

As for how the dogs actually pulled the stunt off? Michelle thinks the 45-pound hound mix stood on his hind legs to reach a forgotten cell phone that was left on a home office desk. "It was on 'emergency call only,' so the dogs would have only had to hit the screen with their paw or their nose and that would have enabled them to call 911," explained Michelle.

Unsurprisingly, the dogs' owner was left completely shocked by the situation. "He didn't believe it was the dogs at all until he heard the 911 tape with the dogs barking in the background and you can tell they're really close," Michelle said. "Then he seemed kind of baffled. The homeowner did take the phone into AT&T to find out if there was anything wrong with the phone. They confirmed that there was not."

When all was said and done, the dispatcher received 16 calls from the duo. And although Michelle has spent 20 years on the force, she admits this was a first for her. "It is kind of unheard of for them to be up to those kinds of shenanigans," she said. "It's mind-blowing, really."

This Is the Best Way to DIY Clean a Couch (Because You Definitely Should)

When it comes to household cleaning - whether you have an apartment or a house - there are certain items that tend to get overlooked. While cleaning things like floors, windows, and countertops seems obvious, other items we use every day can fly under the radar . . . at least until an obvious stain appears. And one of these items that probably doesn't get enough attention on chore day is your couch. While professional cleaning is always an option depending on the grubbiness of your couch, DIY cleaning is great in a pinch or as part of your regular cleaning routine. But if you're not sure where to start, keep reading for simple (but thorough) tips.

Related: Here's Exactly How to Hand-Wash Your Favorite Sweaters So They Don't Ruin or Stretch

1. Read Your Couch's Label

Before you do anything, it's important that you take a minute to locate the label on your couch. Unless your couch is particularly old, the label should have one of four letter codes on it: W (water safe), WS (a combination of dry cleaning and water), X (no water, only use a vacuum), and S (dry clean only). If your couch has a W on the label, it's safe to clean by yourself.

2. Vacuum Your Couch

If possible, take all of your couch cushions off your couch, and vacuum everything. Make sure to pay attention to cracks, nooks, and crannies where crumbs and other messes might be hiding, and vacuum each cushion as well. You can use a brush attachment if your couch is covered in pet hair and a stiff brush for any really grimy areas that your vacuum isn't strong enough to clean. If you have removable covers, check the labels on your couch cushion covers and, if they say it's safe to do so, you can throw them in the washing machine.

3. Deep Clean With Baking Soda

Baking soda is safe for most fabrics, but you can test it before attempting to clean your entire couch if you're unsure. When you know it won't leave a stain, sprinkle your whole couch with baking soda, and let it sit for up to 30 minutes. This will help to remove most of the grime, as well as removing unwanted, lingering odors from your couch.

4. Clean Tough Stains

For bigger, tougher stains that the baking soda didn't completely remove, use a homemade cleaning solution, and blot with a clean cloth. For fabric upholstery, combine 3/4 cup of warm water, 1/4 cup of vinegar, and one tablespoon of dish soap in a spray bottle. For couches made of synthetic materials, combine one cup of warm water, 1/2 cup of vinegar, and 1/2 tablespoon of dish soap in a spray bottle. Be sure to blot them with clean water after applying the cleaning solution, then dry them with a towel before reassembling and using your couch again!
