Game of Thrones: The Night King Is Definitely After a Stark - but Maybe Not the One You Think
If there's one thing every Game of Thrones fan knows, it's that the Night King is one bad dude. From the moment his icy blue eyes filled our screen in season four, his every action has led to devastation, tragedy, and on one special occasion, an ice dragon. But despite all the attempts at trying to figure out why he's bent on destroying all of the Seven Kingdoms, no one has ever gotten the mute villain to speak. But recently, in a rare interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor and stuntman Vladimír Furdík - who has played the Night King since season six - gave us quite an insight into who exactly the frosty menace is after.
"Somebody made him the Night King. He never wanted to be the Night King. I think he wants revenge," Furdík admitted. "Everybody in this story has two sides - a bad side and a good side. The Night King only has one side, a bad side."
Well, we've definitely witnessed plenty of that bad side. In season five, the first time we see the Night King outside of Bran's vision is during The Massacre at Hardhome. For those who need a refresher, Hardhome was a fishing village inhabited by Free Folk beyond the Wall. Jon and Tormund go there to convince the Free Folk to come back to Castle Black, but they're interrupted when the Night King and White Walkers come through and just start killing everyone. Though the Night King doesn't actively participate in the massacre, he watches over the proceedings and looks particularly interested when Jon kills one of his lieutenants with Longclaw.
This is when things take a turn for the personal. As Jon, Tormund, and everyone else left alive board a boat back to Castle Black, the Night King appears on the dock. He purposefully locks eyes with Jon and, as if to show him his power, reanimates the dead scattered around the dock as wights, all by merely raising his arms. It's the ultimate, "Don't try me, b*tch," and according to Furdík, it won't be the last time the two share such an intense moment.
"People will see he has a target he wants to kill, and you will find out who that is," he teased. ". . . also that moment [in "Hardhome"] . . . there's a similar and even stronger moment between Jon and the Night King this time."
Considering the fact that Jon has basically made it his personal mission to end the Night King's reign of terror, it's not shocking that the latter has him in his sights. But I don't think Jon is the person that the Night King is actively planning on killing (aside from wanting him to go away, kind of like people feel about mosquitoes). It makes more sense that the blue guy would be after the other Stark brother trampling into his way every other episode, Bran Stark. After all, Bran is basically the only living person who could hold the key to permanently defeating the White Walkers. (Unless he is the Night King, which is a whole other can of worms.)
I don't think Furdík is misleading us; there's no doubt that Jon and the Night King will have another charged moment in the final season. The King in the North has been prepping his people for a major battle, and when they clash with the Night King's army, it's bound to be intense. But while Jon is a threat, he isn't the ultimate threat. That's Bran, aka the Three-Eyed Raven. No one has the same connection to the Night King that Bran has, and no one has as much information as he does. As his powers grow, who knows what kind of information Bran could learn that would turn the tides against the Night King? He's definitely a bigger prize for a villain that's greatest power is the mystery surrounding him.
Or maybe it's actually Samwell Tarly and we're all wrong! Either way, we'll just have to wait for season eight to figure it out.
Meghan Markle Attends International Women's Day Panel Following Vice President Announcement
She might be getting ready for the arrival of her first child, but Meghan Markle has no plans to slow down the pace of her royal engagements. Following her Moroccan tour with Prince Harry, she also attended a reception to honor Prince Charles, as well as making a surprise appearance at Prince Harry's WE Day event. On Friday, the duchess joined a panel discussion at King's College London convened by the Queen's Commonwealth Trust (which Meghan recently became Vice President of) to celebrate International Women's Day and discuss the importance of it, spotlighting issues that still affect women across the world.
The event brought together a group of female activists and thought leaders to discuss issues affecting women today. Meghan was in great company, as panelists included Annie Lennox, founder of The Circle NGO; Adwoa Aboah, founder of Gurls Talk; Julia Gillard, chair of the Global Institute for Women's Leadership; Chrisann Jarrett, founder of Let Us Learn; and Angeline Murimirwa, executive director of the Campaign For Female Education. Sarah Michelle Gellar's Birthday Post For Freddie Prinze Jr. Really Went There, Huh?
Sarah Michelle Gellar just publicly wished her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. a happy birthday with an Instagram post that's, er, very honest - definitely honest! In honor of the actor's 43rd birthday on March 8, Sarah shared two impossibly sweet selfies, writing, "They say you don't really love someone, unless you have fantasized about killing them." Uh? She then added, "I REALLY love you."
Sarah and Freddie began dating three years after working together in 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer. Two children and 16 years of marriage later, Sarah and Freddie are often celebrated for their long-lasting relationship, particularly by Hollywood standards. In a 2017 interview with POPSUGAR, Sarah credited her marriage's fairly private nature as being key to its success. "I love that we keep our relationship private," she said. "I think that's probably why we manage to survive."
Shameless Fans Say Goodbye to Fiona in the Warmest, Most Un-Gallagher Way Possible
Warning: the following post contains spoilers for the season nine finale of Shameless.
It was a bittersweet goodbye for Fiona Gallagher during Sunday night's season nine finale of Shameless. Since Emmy Rossum announced that she'd be leaving the show after this season, fans have hypothesized about her exit. Would she reunite with Jimmy/Steve? Would she keep going down a dark path and end up in jail or rehab? But as fans prepared for the worst, Fiona's exit went down in the warmest, most un-Gallagher way possible, and it has everyone crying happy tears.
After hitting rock bottom during last week's episode and later receiving a check for $100K from her former business partner Max, Fiona is very aware of the second (or sixth) chance she is given. Her attorney said it best: "You seem like a smart girl, Fiona. [It's] time to leave this South Side hood-rat crap behind you and get on with being an adult." So, that's exactly what she did.
Fiona says her goodbye to Ian in prison, leaves a very generous gift for Debbie, and she even shares an unexpected, tear-jerking moment with Frank before taking her suitcase and heading out the door. It's an incredibly emotional farewell, but a happy one, and we can't wait to see how the Gallagher family evolves without her leadership in season 10. Ahead, see how fans are reacting to Fiona's sentimental departure after 111 episodes on the show.
Everything You Need to Know About Captain Marvel Scene-Stealer Lashana Lynch
We've closed in on Marvel's latest release, Captain Marvel, which gifts us with tons of cool revelations about the incredibly powerful superhero. Even all those trailers and special looks weren't enough to properly prepare us for her greatness. But along with Carol Danvers's very fuzzy new sidekick, Goose, the film introduces us to Maria Rambeau, played by the brilliant Lashana Lynch, who is Carol's best friend and former copilot.
In Summer 2018, POPSUGAR visited the LA set of Captain Marvel with a group of other journalists. During our time in the thick of the action, we were treated to an interview with Lynch. The fact that she'd joined the Marvel universe is huge; not only is she a fresh face in the superhero world, but she's a pretty recent newcomer in Hollywood, too. And here she is, kicking ass alongside a badass female superhero in one of Marvel's most important releases in the past decade! To introduce you to the rising star, we've scribbled down a handful of fun facts about the character . . . and the delightful woman who plays her.
1. She Plays the Mother of a Well-Known Marvel Comics Character
"I play Maria Rambeau, who is the mother of Monica Rambeau, who we know from the comics," Lynch revealed. In Marvel's official database, Monica Rambeau notably takes the Captain Marvel namesake after she joins the Avengers, but she's only 11 in the film and hasn't quite developed her own superpowers yet (though she clearly worships her Aunt Carol). It seems like the perfect way to segue into the Captain Marvel sequel, no? But back to Maria!
The comics don't seem to give a lot of information about Monica's mother. Luckily, we had Lynch to fill us in: "We are going from the beginning, so we're going from before Carol Danvers got her powers. We have us being set in the mid-'90s, which is nice because we have lots of flashbacks. You know, memories that we all know and love." Although we would've loved to see meatier flashbacks in the film to get a better sense of Maria's friendship with Carol, the bond between them is still very much genuine, and a high point of the film.
"My character, along with Carol Danvers, is a fighter pilot, so you catch a lot of us being the strong, driven, bold females in the workplace, in a male-oriented environment," Lynch continued. "It's nice to flash back and see that - see how women can really burst through being in that environment and still holding their own, and not having to have a man telling them what to do, where to stand, how to look. And also not be glamorous at work: not having to wear heels and the pencil skirt and be on their Ps and Qs, just being a complete badass going to work."
2. Carol's Relationship With Maria Actually Runs Deeper Than You Think
Not only were Maria and Carol best friends as fighter pilots before Carol disappeared, but they also grew up together! "They were best friends in the beginning. Absolute best friends," she said. "They were in and out of each other's houses. Carol was very close with Monica." The film hints at how tight the pair were in a scene when little Monica is showing a recently resurfaced Carol a ton of photos from her former life. She mentions how Carol wasn't close with her biological family (her father is very briefly shown as domineering and cruel) and tells her that instead, "We became your family."
Because of that time together, Lynch revealed, Maria and Carol do have a pretty incredible bond. She said they give each other "strength, mainly, and spiritual strength. In order to do the job that we do - and especially with me being an African-American female fighter pilot - any other woman just gets you, understands the journey. It gives you enough power [to] just go to work."
3. Maria Is the Key to Captain Marvel's Reverse Awakening
Once Carol returns to Earth, Maria and Monica help spark a major change in our hero. "There's a certain energy that you share with your friends that you can't get anywhere else, and she has these flashes of the feeling," Lynch told us. "The feeling of being herself through seeing her friend, the feeling of being at home through being in a home - which is mine - and the feeling of being normal and accepted, able to be herself without being an object, which I think is kind of what happens when she gets her powers." That's a pretty impactful piece of Carol's fragmented puzzle of a life.
4. Maria Can Absolutely Hold Her Own With Nick Fury
In the film, we witness a team-up of sorts between Carol, Maria, the young Nick Fury, and the fuzzy little Flerken known as Goose. Nick Fury totally factors in majorly; Lynch said he's "there to be Nick Fury, to save and support and make things happen" when Carol Danvers starts to come to terms with her own identity." While we were on set, we witnessed the scene in which Nick, Maria, and Captain Marvel all board an alien spacecraft. Now that we've seen the completed film, we couldn't imagine the story without Maria, you know?
5. Fun Fact: Lynch Auditioned For Black Panther and Almost Got Picked
In the midst of our interview, Lynch revealed that she's a longtime Marvel fan and had made it a goal for herself to get into a Marvel movie. She really had her sights set on Black Panther. "Literally, I was begging my manager to get me in Black Panther. I was in LA and they hadn't started yet, because they were just finishing up on Spider-Man," she recalled. "And I said, 'Gut I'm here now, and I could just do a tape. I'll make up sides, and I'll just do an audition, and it'll be great.'"
By now, the end of the story should be clear. "It didn't happen. I was shooting a series at the time and sent them the tape, and they loved [it] . . . and then there was an age issue; like, I looked too young for one and too old for the other, and that didn't happen. I'm really happy, because in the end, Letitia Wright got it, and she is bombastic."
6. Maria's Costume Has a Cute Little Easter Egg
A close look at Lynch's costume revealed a very cute little detail: she wears a necklace that spells "Monica" in gorgeous gold-plated lettering. "That was my idea," Lynch said, glowing. "Yeah, it says Monica, because it's the '90s." How very Carrie Bradshaw of her.
Before We Dive Into Avengers: Endgame, Here's a List of Where We Last Saw All the Avengers
With the release of Avengers: Endgame practically right around the corner, there's a lot to remember. We're not 100 percent sure what's going to happen, but we have ideas, and even they're a lot to process. But the most important thing we definitely need to know before Endgame is where everyone ended up when we left them in Avengers: Infinity War. I know this is gonna hurt, but be strong, guys. Let's take this painful trip down memory lane together and go over where we last saw all the Avengers.
Nola Darling Is Back! Netflix Finally Announces She's Gotta Have It Premiere Date
She's back, baby! The artist, the lover, the one and only Nola Darling, is officially coming back for season two of She's Gotta Have It on May 24.
The Netflix original series - inspired by Spike Lee's 1986 film of the same name, as well as created and executive produced by the Oscar-winner - will return for another season full of love, black art, and banging music. While the first season introduced us to Nola's world and those of her four lovers, season two sees the free-spirited artist dealing with the polarizing aspects of fame and success. While she struggles with her journey of self-discovery, the lives of her family and friends transform as well, and we're taken for a ride beyond Nola's home base in Fort Greene, Brooklyn as everyone's world is changed by the gentrification that sweeps the neighborhood.
We probably won't get an answer to "Who is Nola Darling" in this season, but we'll definitely have a good time trying to figure it out! Look out for season two of She's Gotta Have It when it hits Netflix on May 24.
Captain Marvel Just Blasted Her Way Into a Historic Box Office Debut
If you're one of the many cat-lovers who hit up a movie theater this weekend to watch Captain Marvel, then congratulations - you helped Carol Danvers (aka Brie Larson) land the biggest-ever opening for a female-fronted film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The newest superhero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially came out on Friday, March 8 (though late showings began the evening before, on March 7), and has since earned an estimated $153 million for its debut weekend in North America, in addition to an estimated $455 million globally. Now that's something to purr about, eh, Goose?
The last time a female-fronted superhero film came even close to being this lucrative was 2017's Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, which raked in $103 million combined in America and Canada during its opening weekend. As far as films in general with a female lead, Disney's Beauty and the Beast reboot earned $357 million globally in 2017. Captain Marvel now has the distinction of not only scoring the biggest worldwide opening of all time for a female-fronted film, but also the seventh-biggest debut for the MCU (behind the record-breaking Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War, and Iron Man 3, not adjusted for inflation).
So, in other words: keep the popcorn coming, Brie Larson.

Leaving Neverland: A Breakdown of the Disturbing Allegations Against Michael Jackson
Warning: This story discusses graphic elements from HBO's documentary Leaving Neverland.
Part one of HBO's controversial documentary about Michael Jackson, Leaving Neverland, aired on March 3, and the allegations made by two alleged victims against the King of Pop are disturbing, to say the least.
James Safechuck and choreographer Wade Robson are now adults - ages 41 and 36, respectively - but both originally encountered Jackson as young boys through show business connections: Safechuck met Jackson while filming a Pepsi commercial in the '90s, while Robson, who is Australian, won a Jackson-themed dance competition in his hometown of Brisbane that came with a prize of meeting the star after his concert.
After the boys' first encounters with Jackson, the late music icon allegedly began grooming them and their families with lavish gifts, trips, and promises of help with their dancing careers. Both men now say that they were repeatedly sexually abused by Jackson, who lulled them and their parents into a false sense of security. As the boys got older, they claim the abuse only escalated, before Jackson effectively kicked them to the curb in favor of younger victims.
When Jackson was taken to court over other allegations of abuse in 1993 and 2005, Robson and Safechuck defended the star, but no longer; the disturbing allegations made in both parts of Dan Reed's documentary against Jackson are ahead.
Brie Larson Thanked Captain Marvel Fans in the Best Way - by Serving Them Popcorn
Did you catch Brie Larson in your showing of Captain Marvel this weekend? Blink, and you might've missed her! The 29-year-old actress surprised moviegoers over the weekend by popping into a New Jersey theater to thank fans. She served up soda and popcorn at the concession stand before stepping into the IMAX theater, greeted by a standing ovation and applause.
"I just heard that I was on the cups and popcorn and wanted to see for myself," Larson joked, while decked out in a custom Juicy Couture sweatsuit. "Thank you so much for coming. You guys are so awesome to come opening weekend." Watch the full video of Larson's surprise above - something tells us she waited till those important end credits stopped rolling.
Sharp Objects Showrunner Isn't Ruling Out a Second Season: "I Have Thoughts on It"
The latest Gillian Flynn book adaptation, Sharp Objects, made Gone Girl fans all sorts of excited, and for good reason. After seeing how well HBO handled Big Little Lies, Jean-Marc Vallée (who directed both projects) had another masterpiece on his hands thanks to the way he brought Flynn's debut novel to the small screen in 2018. Now that a second season of Big Little Lies is on the way, though, we can't help but wonder if Sharp Objects will continue past its first season as well, especially given the shocking, open-ended note the eighth (and presumably final) episode wraps up on. According to Flynn, that very well may be a possibility, and showrunner Marti Noxon seems to agree.
Sharp Objects tells the story of a crime journalist named Camille Preaker (played in the show by Amy Adams), who returns to her hometown of Wind Gap, MI, to investigate the mysterious murder of a young girl. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Flynn said she can already imagine the story continuing for Camille and her other characters past what has already been written. "My characters always go on in my imagination," she said. "They have full working lives in there, and I keep in touch with all of them . . . I know exactly what happens to them."
In March 2019 Noxon echoed Flynn's words at a SXSW keynote, per Deadline, teasing that a second season could be in order about other members of the Crellin family.
"Maybe there will be a sequel, maybe we'll get to find out more about [Adora and Camille's sister]," she said. "Gillian and I have thoughts on it." Noxon went on to explain how she originally wanted to adapt Flynn's twisted novel into an "ongoing series" that thoroughly examined other citizens in Wind Gap, rather than zeroing in just Camille's story. HBO obviously didn't end up going with this version, opting instead for the limited miniseries.
Even though Flynn and Noxon might be on board with the new take on the show, HBO head Casey Bloys dismissed any notions of new episodes during a TCA panel in Summer 2018.
"No, no," he said when asked if Sharp Objects would get a sophomore season the way Big Little Lies has. "I'll tell you the difference. For Big Little Lies, Reese [Witherspoon], Nicole [Kidman], Laura [Dern], Shailene [Woodley], and Zoë [Kravitz] - they all wanted to do it again. This is very - as you know, the show is dark, and Amy [Adams]'s character is very dark. It's a difficult role for an actress to play. I believe she doesn't want to play that character again, which I completely understand. It's a lot to take on, and without her I just don't see. I think this is one where you gotta say, 'We got a fantastic limited series, and we'll leave it at that.'"
If HBO, Adams, and Noxon ever do want another season documenting Camille Preaker's investigations, or the future of her sister Amma Crellin, Flynn confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she's not ruling it out: "I would never say no [to another season]." We'll just have to wait and see!

32 Times the Royal Family Broke Protocol and Packed on the PDA Anyway
While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren't shy about showing PDA in general, they aren't the only royal couple to kiss and cuddle for the cameras over the years. We've seen Harry's brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, display rare PDA with subtle pecks, and his parents, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, also had a history of stealing celebratory kisses after a polo match.
Outside of sporting events, we've been able to see even more sweet PDA from the royals over the years, from high-profile wedding ceremonies - that Buckingham Palace balcony has sure seen some lip-locking - to random displays of affection around the world. There may be some official rules in place, but even the royals aren't immune from showing love every once in a while! Scroll through to see the royal couples who have given us a glimpse of their love for each other.
Kelly Clarkson Sings an Unexpectedly Badass Mashup of Cardi B, Lauryn Hill, and Post Malone
Kelly Clarkson took the stage on Long Island, NY, on March 7 and sang an unexpected remix that has all the potential to be a chart-topper. Clarkson, who told the crowd she loves many different genres of music, decided to perform a mashup of Cardi B's "Be Careful," Lauryn Hill's "Ex Factor," and Post Malone's "Better Now." And you better believe she made the medley sound totally seamless and beautiful.
"This idea came to me the other night because I'm a big, huge fan of all three of the artists that we're about to cover," she said to the audience attending her Meaning of Life tour. "I did this mashup because I always find myself singing along to their songs." She also praised each artist individually, commending Cardi B's empowering "Money" music video, Post Malone's catchy tunes, and Lauryn Hill's 1998 classic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. "It changed all of us in every way," she said of Hill's Grammy-winning LP.
Clarkson's show was a part of her "A Minute and a Glass of Wine" segment, in which she drinks wine and covers popular songs. She previously blew everyone away with her rendition of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born hit "Shallow," as well as a slowed-down version of Robyn's "Dancing on My Own." And we can't wait to see what else she has in store. Skip to the 7:28 mark in the video above to hear Clarkson's amazing remix of Cardi B, Lauryn Hill, and Post Malone!
We're Finally Getting On My Block Season 2, but We Still Have 1 Major Question
Any fan of Netflix's original teen dramedy On My Block is definitely having a moment right now. After months of waiting for news on the show's season two renewal - which came in March 2018 - fans have been anxiously looking out for any bit of information on what the second chapter will entail. Now, a year later, we not only got the official premiere date but also the first few minutes of the second season premiere! It's all very exciting, but it also leaves us with a big question left from season one: what happened to Ruby and Olivia?
For anyone who needs a refresher, the climax of season one leaves us on a traumatizing cliffhanger. The majority of the first season follows lifelong friends Monse, Ruby, Cesar, and Jamal as they navigate the ups and downs of their high school freshman year and the chaos of life in the rough neighborhood of South Central Los Angeles. They deal with love, sex, money, and the jarring gang violence that seems to permeate every aspect of their young lives. Through all the craziness of their lives, the four manage to stick together and welcome a fifth member, Olivia. But by the end of the season, things end with a very explosive bang when both Ruby and Olivia take bullets meant for Cesar from a rival gang member during Olivia's quinceañera.
As the finale ends, we see the newfound lovebirds bleeding out from gunshot wounds to the chest on the party's dance floor and two ambulances racing through the neighborhood. Both wounds look serious, but Olivia's looks particularly fatal, even as we hear Ruby desperately gasping for breath. Fans were stunned with horror at the moment as the screen fades to black and as Twitter user calminthecut said, "My boy Ruby ain't deserve that, or Olivia."
We don't want to wish death on either teen, but it's hard to say which one had the better chance of surviving their wounds. The season two trailer shows glimpses of Monse and Cesar preparing for a funeral, Jasmine crying before a memorial for an unknown young woman, and Ruby's mother and grandmother tearing up while looking at a photo of Olivia and their son. So, one could believe that they've both perished. But the last shot of that same trailer also shows Ruby lying in what looks to be a casket with his eyes closed, before he opens them at the very last second. And the official key art for the season shows Ruby alive and well, with no sight of Olivia.
With all the clues we've been given, it might be safe to draw the conclusion that Ruby survives his wounds. But we won't know for sure until the new episodes of On My Block drop on Netflix on March 29!
We Can't Stop Watching This Dude CRUSH His Hip-Hop Dance Routine
The only appropriate way to introduce Mike Alancourt to the world would be to quote Mariah Carey, because a hero just frickin' came along. When you think of Post Malone's song "Wow" and a 40-something Florida man, the words "dance video" might not immediately come to mind, but phew, that mind is about to be blown. A video of Mike breaking it down to the hit song at 1 Vibe Dance in Jacksonville recently went viral, and we have no choice but to stan. From his footwork to the final full-body roll, holy crap, we're in the presence of a legend.
Even Will Smith, who we know is capable of quality moves à la Hitch, praised Mike's skills on Instagram. "YOOOOOOO! Dude is SLAYIN' this thing!!" he wrote alongside the video, which now has over 6 million views on Will's page. Mike, you should probably keep your phone nearby, because we have a feeling Ellen DeGeneres might come ringing. Watch the "Wow" video above, and see more of Mike's impressive dance clips ahead.

Now That She's an Instagram Influencer, Queen Elizabeth II Wore Pantone's Color of the Year
Queen Elizabeth II is up on the trends. The 92-year-old royal recently stepped out wearing a monochromatic orange outfit reminiscent of the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year, Living Coral. That same day, during a visit to the Science Museum, the queen shared her first-ever Instagram post from the royal family's official account. She'll be promoting hair-growth gummy-bear vitamins and teeth whitening products in no time!
The queen paired her bright coat and beautiful hat with a teal floral-print dress, Gucci loafers, and a Launer handbag. In response to a question about the queen's famously bright wardrobe, her daughter-in-law Sophie, Countess of Wessex said she does it to stand out for members of the public looking on in a crowd. "She needs to stand out for people to be able to say 'I saw the queen,'" said Sophie. Something tells us that between her distinct look and usual entourage, however, the queen isn't too hard to spot.
I Normally Hate Pants, but This Spring Silhouette Might Make Me Change My Mind
I'm not going to lie to you: if I could spend my life in dresses and skirts, I would. Most of the time, I feel like pants are uncomfortable and unflattering on my body, and I really only wear them in the Winter for the purpose of warmth. But recently, there's a new silhouette I've been spotting that might just convert me. Front-slit pants are chic because they lengthen the leg and look great with sneakers, heels, flats, or even the right boot. And, after spotting them on many a street style star, I think it's time I invest in a pair for myself.
Jennifer Lopez Has Walked Down the Aisle 3 Times
Jennifer Lopez has admitted that "she is a love addict" who has a "fear" of being on her own. It's no wonder she has been married a few times and has been in several other long-term relationships. Who remembers when she almost tied the knot with Ben Affleck? We sure do!
The 49-year-old has pretty much been in and out of a relationship since 1997, and there's nothing wrong with that; more power to her. She's a woman that knows what she wants and goes after it - she's the one who asked current fiancé ARod out on a date. We are taking a moment to look back at the men for whom she has walked down the aisle.

The two tied the knot in Napa on March 9, during an intimate Napa ceremony surrounded by family and friends, including Lea's former Glee cast mates Darren Criss and Becca Tobin, and Scream Queens's Emma Roberts. Lea also reportedly got her wish and had Ryan Murphy officiate the wedding.
Lea and Zandy are old friends and started dating publicly in July 2017. He popped the question last year on April 28, and Lea announced the news by showing off her ginormous rock. They've celebrated over the past year with elegant engagement parties and bridal showers, and Lea brought her bridesmaids to Hawaii last month for a bachelorette getaway. We wish Zandy and Lea all the best in their future together!
You Won't Be Able to Get Through Louis Tomlinson's "Two of Us" Without Sobbing
It's been two years since Louis Tomlinson's mom, Johannah Deakin, passed away, but the 27-year-old singer is keeping her memory alive. On Thursday, Tomlinson dropped a new single titled "Two of Us," which is a beautiful tribute to his late mom that he said he "absolutely needed to write." "I just feel like musically, I almost needed to get this song off my chest," Tomlinson said in a statement. "People say writing is a part of therapy and in a way, I feel like I'd been avoiding writing this song because I knew I only had one chance to get it right. I don't mean to be too soppy about it, but if 'Two of Us' can help just one other person who's going through the tough time that I went through, then that would make me really happy." Tomlinson's mom may have passed away in December 2016 after a year-long battle with leukemia, but something tells us she would be very proud.
Holy Moly! I Could Check My Reflection in Jennifer Lopez's Massive Engagement Ring
Jennifer Lopez is officially engaged to Alex Rodriguez! On March 9, the singer revealed her upcoming wedding plans while on a beach getaway in the Bahamas with her now fiancé. The two announced the happy news by dropping a picture of her ring on Instagram - and, boy, it. is. HUGE. The massive emerald-cut diamond speaks for itself, and even by the light of a campfire, it sparkles. This elegant accessory will complement J Lo's glamorous wardrobe so well! See more rings like J Lo's new bling ahead.
The Love Triangle Heats Up in This First Look at Part 2 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
We're finally getting our first look at part two of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and it looks like things are getting even spicier! When we last leave Greendale, Sabrina and company are going through a rough Winter's Solstice, and it looks like part two is only bringing more chaos. As we already know, Sabrina will be diving into the curious nature of her witch-hood and spending less time in the mortal world than she did previously. This means we'll be seeing a lot more of the Church of Night and, of course, Miss Wardwell and the Dark Lord (who may go by the suitably dramatic name Lucius Morningstar).
Like the blessed dark one it is, Netflix dropped the first few photos from part two, and they're enough to get our theory wheels turning! Check out the photos ahead, and get ready to renew your membership to the Church of Night when Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns on April 5.

Cardi B's Ultrasharp Cat Eye For Her "Please Me" Music Video Was Created With This Eyeliner
Name a music video that is sexier than Cardi B and Bruno Mars's "Please Me." We'll wait.
"I wanted to feed off of that," said makeup artist Erika La' Pearl, who quickly recognized how sultry the video would be. To create Cardi's hot-pink eye-makeup look, she whipped out tools from her arsenal from one beauty brand: Pat McGrath Labs. Across Cardi's lids, La' Pearl blended shades Gold Nectar and Euphoria from Mothership III La Vie En Rose Subversive Palette ($55) onto the inner corners, before sweeping a mix of Rose Risqué (from the same palette) and Night Creature (from the Mothership III Eyeshadow Palette ($125)) across the rest of the lid. She finished the look with a stark black winged liner created with the fine-tipped Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner ($28).
Ahead, see Cardi dial up the heat with her graphic eye look in "Please Me."
If the Plot of Five Feet Apart Sounds Familiar, You've Probably Seen 1 of These Similar Movies
The upcoming teen drama Five Feet Apart feels like a fresh take on a genre we've seen lots of before: teenagers falling in love amid difficult or even tragic circumstances that threaten to tear them apart or keep them from ever coming together in the first case. In this case, they're both cystic fibrosis patients whose ability to get close is limited - literally: they can't get within six feet of each other. Five Feet Apart arrives in theaters on March 15, but in the meantime, if you're looking for an emotional teen movie with a hint (or more) of angst and impossible odds, check out one of these eight movies. We guarantee you'll cry at least once!

I Went on 30 Dates in 30 Days, and Here's What Happened
"Who has time to find that many guys to go out with?" Rayna Greenberg and Ashley Hesseltine mused as we sipped coffees in the West Village last Fall. The duo hosts the hilarious podcast, Girls Gotta Eat, which is full of raw and relevant humor that hits on exactly what it's like to be a single millennial lady in New York City. At the time I was interviewing them for an article on dating trends in 2019 and simultaneously contemplating a move from San Francisco to New York. I asked them about dating experiments and they shared an idea they had to challenge themselves to 30 dates in 30 days, that they ultimately decided was more trouble than it was worth.
Challenge accepted, I thought to myself.
This comedy duo's throwaway idea piqued my interest. I imagined this was a great way to get to know a new city, hit the ground running on my romantic life in the New Year, and test my dating prowess. I knew I could do it on my home turf, but could I possibly find 30 eligible bachelors to date in my first month in a new city?
With only one way to find out, I decided to make the move official. I landed in Manhattan and started the clock immediately. It wasn't easy, it was only sometimes fun, and it turns out, Rayna and Ashley were right to scrap this idea. By the end, I was exhausted, disillusioned, and considered swearing off dating altogether, but the important thing is, I made it. Here's what happened.
The Act: After Her Mother's Horrific Murder, Here Is Gypsy Blanchard's Status in 2019
With a cast that features Escape at Dannemora's Patricia Arquette and The Kissing Booth's Joey King, Hulu's The Act sheds light on one of the strangest and most tragic true crime stories ever. It weaves together a story about Munchausen syndrome by proxy and murder, revealing how Dee Dee Blanchard's toxic relationship with her daughter Gypsy Rose went out of hand. Dee Dee's story ended in a grisly death, but it seems as though Gypsy's has only begun since her mother's passing.
If you haven't already heard of the story, here's a quick introduction to it. Dee Dee had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a mental illness in which a parent, guardian, or caregiver exaggerates or induces illness in their child or someone in their care for attention or sympathy. For years, Dee Dee made her daughter undergo treatments for illnesses such as leukemia, epilepsy, and muscular dystrophy - in addition to convincing many that Gypsy had the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. For years, Gypsy was subjected to unnecessary medications and surgeries, following whatever her mother said in fear of retaliation. Dee Dee also kept a distance from her ex-husband, convincing Gypsy that her father didn't care about her. Gypsy would eventually seek a way out. In June 2015, her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn killed her mother with multiple stab wounds because Gypsy asked him to.
Godejohn pleaded not guilty but was eventually convicted of first-degree murder with a sentence to life in 2018. Gypsy is currently serving a 10-year sentence in the Missouri Chillicothe Correctional Center after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Gypsy has been working on her GED in prison as of 2018. During an interview with Dr. Phil, the TV psychologist asked Gypsy if the murder was justified.
"No, she didn't deserve what happened," Gypsy said. "If anything, she just deserved to be where I am."
Her stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, has said that Gypsy, now 27, is doing well in prison. Speaking with HelloGiggles, Kristy recalled that her stepdaughter mentioned an interest in a skilled profession when she gets out of jail, possibly culinary school or library work.
"She is thriving," her stepmother said in a separate interview with Springfield News-Leader. "There has been no long-term side effects from all the medication her mom had given her. She has a clean bill of health, thank God - and I really only think what it has done was stunt her growth."
In 2024, Gypsy will be eligible for probation, right before her 33rd birthday. Her time in prison has been something of a reflective and reparative period for her. In Mommy Dead and Dearest, HBO's documentary about her case, Gypsy said, "I get to start over. I'm newly born."
I Tried Trader Joe's Almond Butter Cups, and I Hate to Say It, but Reese's Still Wins
Whenever I see Reese's orange - that garish, beautiful color - my Pavlovian response is hunger, joy, and total satisfaction. As a kid, I loved those things. I stared longingly at the king-size packages in grocery store checkout aisles. I still think chocolate and peanut butter is one of the world's greatest culinary combinations.
Trader Joe's is known for its sinfully addictive dark chocolate peanut butter cups, of which I (and basically everyone else) am a huge fan. (Here are 19 of its other new products I'll be throwing in my cart soon.) When it rocked the nut-butter-chocolate world again with the recent release of dark chocolate almond butter cups ($4 for a tub of 18 mini cups), I thought, "That's it. I've gotta try this; it's like a richer, healthier version of the chocolate that got me through childhood."
I picked up a box, scoped out the nutrition information, and ate about 10. Here's what I thought.
