Drew Barrymore Reflects on the 20th Anniversary of Never Been Kissed: "Josie Grossie Forever"
It's officially been two decades since Drew Barrymore charmed viewers in one of the more, uh, unique back-to-school films out there. In honor of the 20th anniversary of Never Been Kissed, Barrymore reminisced about the beloved romantic comedy, which also happened to be the first film under her Flower Films production company. "Josie Grossie forever," wrote Barrymore on Instagram.
As a refresher, Never Been Kissed follows copy editor Josie Geller as she takes on her first big writing assignment: an undercover look at the lives of high school students. Along the way, she is forced to face painful memories of her own high school experience, although she eventually falls in with the popular clique on her second go-around. Oh, and she also falls in love with her teacher, portrayed by Michael Vartan.
"Josie Grossie forever."
Looking back, Barrymore described the movie as "raw," "ridiculous," and "beautiful." She said, "All we wanted to do was make something that felt like the way so many of us feel growing up." Adding, "Everyone feels vulnerability while they are figuring out who they are and what they stand for. It also helps when you have the best cast and great music and everyone is making the same story!"
About the whole student-teacher romance, though: In an interview with Page Six about the movie, Vartan said it's hard not to find that plot point problematic - even though Josie is actually an adult posing as a student. "I don't know if someone who had a darker disposition at the time, maybe the creep factor would have intensified it a bit. But, if I'm a 30-year-old man and I think this girl is 17, it's completely inappropriate," Vartan said.
Despite that, Vartan does have fond memories of working on Never Been Kissed. "[Drew] showed up on the first day of shooting in an old, beat up, white Volvo and from that moment on she was my hero," he said. "She was just one of the sweetest, nicest people and treated everyone equally, which [is] the way it should be, but unfortunately it isn't always the case."
Ron Perlman Isn't in the Hellboy Reboot, but He's Given His Blessings
Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy franchise has achieved cult status over the years. Which means that, obviously, we've been both excited and nervous about what's to come with Neil Marshall's 2019 reboot of Hellboy, since it stands on the shoulder of a beloved giant. The new movie about Mike Mignola's iconic half-demon takes on a darker R-rated tone, featuring Stranger Things' beloved David Harbour in the title role. Del Toro and Ron Perlman, the original Hellboy, won't be involved in the upcoming film. Still, they've sent their blessings to the new cast and crew - for the most part, anyway.
The original Hellboy film franchise as we knew it ended in 2008 with the release of Hellboy II: The Golden Army. Del Toro had been planning on making a trilogy but in 2017, confirmed on Twitter that Hellboy 3 would not happen. And since the upcoming movie is a remake and not a sequel, it won't be starring the original cast, which includes Perlman.
When Marshall officially joined the reboot, he sought Del Toro's blessing, since he respected the renowned director as a friend and fellow filmmaker. Marshall relayed to Collider that in a brief exchange, Del Toro had said to him, "'I'm totally cool with it. I'm totally magnanimous about it.'"
Perlman previously voiced his disappointment about Hellboy 3 getting cut, but has been supportive of the upcoming film. At Motor City Comic Con, he wished Harbor the best of luck with the new movie, saying, "David Harbour is a good dude. I wish him nothing but the best when it comes to the retooling of HB."
Still, Perlman wasn't above being a little playful about the situation, notably posting this picture on his Instagram when the reboot trailer came out.
Harbour has been aware of how big Perlman's shoes are to fill. So for him, the reboot hasn't been a matter of living up to the original Hellboy legacy as it is carving out his own unique take. "We're gonna do something just completely different and we're gonna highlight a different aspect of this guy," he said in an interview with Collider. "I can't do what Ron Perlman does. I think he's a genius at what he does: this very dry machismo thing. In terms of approaching the character, I have to do it my own way."
A Third Spinoff of The Walking Dead Is Coming - Here's What We Know So Far
The universe of The Walking Dead just keeps getting bigger. A few months after announcing that AMC would release a series of three films revolving around Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes in a new world now that he's left his original group of survivors, the network has also confirmed that a third spinoff of the flagship series is a go.
Details about what it will entail are still scarce, but what we do know is that it will follow two young female protagonists. According to AMC's official statement about the upcoming series, the show will "focus on the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad."
An exact premiere date hasn't been locked down for the 10-episode series as of now, but it will arrive at some point in 2020. Matt Negrete, who's written for and produced TWD for five seasons, will serve as cocreator on the as-yet untitled spinoff alongside Scott Gimple, chief content officer for the Dead franchise, and filming will kick off in Virginia this Summer.
Here's When American Horror Story Season 9 Will Likely Start Giving You Nightmares
American Horror Story's latest batch of themes have included everything from a clown cult to a haunted hotel to a radioactive bunker, and now we finally know what season nine's story will revolve around: the year 1984! Well, more specifically, a killer straight out of an old-school '80s slasher flick chasing young women through the woods in 1984, judging from the teaser that Ryan Murphy shared on Wednesday (above).
In addition to the chilling visuals and song featured in the brief clip (which is Billie Eilish's "Six Feet Under," FYI) the teaser also includes our first hint about when to expect season nine to arrive on FX: this Fall! Murphy declined to reveal an exact date, but when you take a look back at when all the other seasons have made their debuts on the network, it's not hard to narrow down a range of dates.
Seasons one through five all premiered within the first two or three weeks of October, with the earliest being Oct. 5 and the latest on Oct. 17. More recently the series has been coming out a little earlier. Seasons six, seven, and eight - Roanoke, Cult, and Apocalypse, respectively - premiered on FX within the first two weeks of September, the earliest being Sept. 5 and the latest on Sept. 14. If we had to bet, we'd say season nine of American Horror Story will hit your TV screen in a date in line with the latest seasons.
Since we presumably have quite a bit of time to wait regardless of which Fall month the show returns, make sure you brush up on all the details we have about season nine so far, as well as which new faces have joined the cast.
American Horror Story Season 9 Is Taking Us to Summer Camp For Old-Fashioned Slasher Fun
Fans have been theorizing the theme for the anthology series's ninth season since the end of AHS: Apocalypse, the polarizing eighth season. Set in the days and months following a worldwide nuclear apocalypse, Apocalypse gave viewers an epic crossover between several of the show's previous seasons, connecting the previously separate installments into one deeply twisty mythology. From witchy resurrections to time travel to the literal "son" of the devil, Apocalypse was horror on a cosmic scale. So after such a huge season, fans couldn't help but wonder what could possibly come next.
Thankfully, Ryan Murphy took the opportunity to throw loyal viewers a bone when he announced the upcoming theme via Instagram on April 10. He revealed that the ninth season of the FX horror anthology is titled AHS: 1984, simply captioning his post, "AHS SEASON 9 is called..." with a video that shed all the light needed on the upcoming season.
The short clip that reveals the 1984 title and premiere date (it's coming out Fall 2019 folks!) involves a young woman running away from a knife-wielding man. It's reminiscent of classic '80s slasher horror films like Friday the 13th, which was released in 1980. This is the second bit of news we've gotten about the ninth season, with the first being the first round of casting announcements. Longtime AHS alum Emma Roberts will be returning for 1984, along with franchise newcomer and Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy, who will be playing her boyfriend. We also know that Evan Peters, another AHS fan favorite and Roberts' ex-boyfriend, will not be returning for this season.
It'll be interesting to see new faces pop up this go around and see whether some familiar characters get a chance to feature in this decade. Considering all the seasons have some connection to one another, we can't wait to see how Murphy fosters a connection in 1984. Stay tuned for more details as they come!
Before Tina Fey's Film Version, Here's the Story of Carol Burnett's Late Daughter Carrie Hamilton
Carol Burnett is an undisputed TV legend. The trailblazing comedienne is the queen of making people laugh - but her own life hasn't been all smiles and laughter. Burnett is set to co-produce (alongside Tina Fey) a film adaptation of her memoir about her late daughter, Carrie Hamilton, who died 17 years ago at the age of 38.
Born in 1963, Carrie Hamilton was the daughter of Burnett and her second husband, producer Joe Hamilton. Early in life, however, Hamilton's struggles began: she suffered through three years of addiction while she was still in her teens. It was Burnett, as she explained to People in a 2018 interview, who forced Hamilton into rehab.
"She got sober when she was 17," Burnett said. "I put her in a third rehab place, and oh my God, she hated me. I came to the conclusion that I had to love her enough to let her hate me. She got sober and we started bonding. We wound up working together, writing a play together. We worked together in three shows."
Together, Burnett and a now-sober Hamilton worked on an episode of the TV series Touched by an Angel, as well as the TV movie Hostage. Sadly, Hamilton's career and life were cut short in 2002. Hamilton was diagnosed with cancer that began in her lungs but eventually spread to her brain, ending her life at the age of 38. In 2013, Burnett wrote a memoir about her daughter, Carrie and Me: A Mother-Daughter Love Story, which is the basis for the upcoming movie. Between the memoir and this upcoming project, Burnett is still working to keep the memory of her daughter alive.
"She was very interested in people. She never met a stranger. I think it's in our genes . . . [knowing] you can make somebody's day by being kind . . . I think of her every day. She never leaves me . . . I just feel her," Burnett told People.
The Fey-produced adaptation will be produced by Burnett, Fey, Eric Gurian, and Steven Rogers, with Focus Features backing the project, as per Vanity Fair. Ian and Eshom Nelms will tackle the script, and casting will be announced at a later date.
The Mysterious Trailer For Netflix's Chambers Will Chill You to the Bone
Over the past few years, Netflix has proven itself to be a stellar destination for horror fans of all kinds. Whether you're into psychological thrillers like The Haunting of Hill House that have you looking over your shoulder any time it gets dark, or you're more of a grisly bloodbath connoisseur, the streaming giant has been churning out high-quality horror hits as of late. Now it's time to say hello to the latest entry into Netflix's cadre of scary TV series: Chambers.
The upcoming series doesn't launch globally until April 26, but fortunately, the platform has released a handful of intriguing stills from the show, as well as the first trailer, above. The series follows 17-year-old Arizona native Sasha (Sivan Alyra Rose), who suffers a near-fatal heart attack but luckily gets a donor heart the same night, saving her life. Unfortunately, along with a second chance, the organ begins to affect her life in other ways - she's suddenly gifted with the talents of the deceased girl, Becky, whose heart she now has inside her, but some of them are "troublingly sinister."
As Sasha begins to realize that something terrifying could be lurking inside her new heart, she starts digging into a mystery connected to Becky's parents, Ben and Nancy (Tony Goldwyn and Uma Thurman, respectively). Watch the mysterious, creepy trailer above before the series hits Netflix later this month!
According to This Wild Endgame Theory, Thanos's Snap Didn't Do What We All Think
It seems like it was only yesterday when Marvel broke our hearts into itty-bitty pieces in Avengers: Infinity War, not unlike what became of half of the Avengers after Thanos's snap. With the arrivals of Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, we get closer to figuring out what's going to unfold in Endgame. The widely anticipated movie will show the Avengers figuring out a way to bring back their friends and defeat Thanos once and for all. Which is to say, we're going into the film with the assumption that Thanos wiped out half of the living population in the universe - that half of the superheroes we know and love are gone.
But what if no one is actually dead? The Marvel Cinematic Universe is so deeply entrenched in mystical magic and science fiction that this isn't too far of a leap to make. Read on to explore the Internet's most convincing speculations about what happened to the supposedly fallen Avengers!
Ned Stark Comes Back to Life to Reassure Jimmy Fallon That Winter Really IS Coming
It's hard to believe that after almost two years of wondering what the hell happened to Daenerys's ice dragon, how Jon Snow will find out about his real lineage, or all the million other questions we had at the end of Game of Thrones season seven, we will soon be getting answers. In fact, it's so hard to believe that we almost don't believe it. Jimmy Fallon and the rest of The Tonight Show crew is with us in wondering, "How long must we f*cking wait for Game of Thrones?"
In a hilarious and brutally realistic late-night skit, Lord of House Fallon exclaims, "Winter has come and gone, and Winter has come and gone again, and now 'tis Spring and one thing is clear: shorts weather is coming." The cast jokes about having no new shows to watch, and they even point out that if the show never starts, it can never end.
Sean Bean, also known as the late Ned Stark, popped in to Rockefeller Center to remind the uneasy council members to be patient. "The premiere is coming, but until then, we mustn't lose our heads," Bean quips in the clip. Watch the video above to see what George RR Martin also said about the end of the beloved show.

The New Trailer For Disney's Lion King Reboot Introduces Us to Simba, Nala, Scar, and More
Hear Simba roar! The first official trailer for Disney's live-action adaptation of The Lion King has finally arrived, so consider us excited beyond belief. The film stars Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Beyoncé, Billy Eichner, James Earl Jones, and more in the film's biggest roles. In the minute and a half of footage above, we see a glimpse of young Simba - who's unbearably cute! - facing down Scar, hanging with Nala, running around with Timon and Pumba, and other re-creations of some of the 1994 animated film's most iconic moments.
Unsurprisingly, the CGI is nature documentary perfection, which has us even more excited for it to come out. Between this film, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch, and all the other live-action Disney adaptations scheduled for release, we have so much to look forward to. Watch the official trailer above, as well as the previous teasers ahead, before it hits theaters on July 19, 2019. Then, check out all the other A-list actors who have joined the cast!

Oscars TV Spot:
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Nick Scratch's Name Was a Clue to His Fate All Along
If you don't want any spoilers about the Chilling Adventures second season finale, don't read any further, OK?
The second season of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ends with a coronation ceremony of hellish proportions. While working with Sabrina and her family and friends to defeat the Dark Lord after he returns to his human form, Principal Wardwell - Miss Lilith if you're nasty! - devises a plan to bind him to another human vessel and bring him back down to Hell so he can't continue wreaking havoc on the mortal world. Sabrina's boyfriend, Nicolas Scratch, takes one for the team and volunteers to be the vessel; he does this to save the world, sure - but mostly because he feels like a total d*ck for agreeing to work for the Dark Lord to influence Sabrina in the first place. And as it turns out, the history behind the name Nicholas Scratch could have been a clue to his satanic devotion (and hellish fate) all along.
In old-timey New England (you know, where the Salem witch trials took place!), the devil became colloquially known by euphemisms like Old Nick, Old Scratch, and Mr. Scratch due to the "nicking" and "scratching" that his cruel influence could inflict on one's soul. To this day, my own New England-born mother uses the name Mr. Scratch to refer to anyone who says they're "playing the devil's advocate" in an argument - so you probably see where I'm going with this.
First, let's head back to 1824, when essayist Washington Irving wrote the short story "The Devil and Tom Walker." The tale follows a greedy, selfish New England man and his equally greedy wife who essentially sell their souls to the devil, who is referred to throughout as "Old Scratch."
The devil became colloquially known by euphemisms like Old Nick, Old Scratch, and Mr. Scratch due to the "nicking" and "scratching" that his cruel influence could inflict on one's soul.
It heavily influenced a poet named Stephen Vincent Benét, who in the 1930s wrote his own short story called "The Devil and Daniel Webster." In it, a New Hampshire farmer also sells his soul to the devil - who also refers to himself as "Mr. Scratch" - and is defended by a fictional version of the famous attorney and US statesman Daniel Webster. You might even remember that Webster also shows up in Chilling Adventures as the lawyer who represents Sabrina during her trial against the Dark Lord in season one's "The Trial of Sabrina Spellman."
Back to Nicholas Scratch: after taking on the form of a hot, naked fallen angel, the Dark Lord confesses to Sabrina that he tasked Nick with getting close to her so she would devote herself to the church and stay on the path of night. You could say that by accepting this act of devotion to the Dark Lord, Nick was quite literally playing the devil's advocate. Sabrina is furious and feels utterly betrayed by her boyfriend, of course, so Nick begs for her forgiveness and insists that his feelings for her are real. He even goes the extra mile by offering to be the human vessel for the Dark Lord, knowing he'll be taken away from the mortal world and probably never see Sabrina again. Has a man ever gone that far to apologize? I highly doubt it!
Theories emerged during season one that Nick was the devil himself, largely due to the origins of his character's name as well as his undeniable charm and wit. While we now know that's not entirely true, it still fits, given that the devil is living in Nick's body. His name may have been the biggest possible clue about his true leanings and connection with the Dark Lord - and judging by Sabrina's plan to "go to Hell" and get her boyfriend back, it appears she's either forgiven him or at least wants more answers.
Game of Thrones: The 16 Most Powerful Weapons in Westeros
According to the latest teaser trailer for Game of Thrones, no one in Westeros is safe. What started as a clash of steel against steel has quickly become a battle of man versus myth as the Night King and his deadly army march their way through the Great Wall. Now, with the Seven Kingdom's main defensive weapon in icy shambles, fans have to wonder, how will our heroes defend themselves? Weapons of Valyrian steel are a safe bet as the substance is one of two strong enough to kill White Walkers, but an effective protection plan goes far beyond mere metal. So let's review 16 of the most powerful weapons currently on Game of Thrones.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Season 2 Soundtrack Is Pop Perfection
One of the most underrated parts of Netflix's spooky drama Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the show's top-notch soundtrack. In its two seasons so far, the show has picked the perfect music to capture its retro, emotional, and downright creepy vibe. With the release of the second "part" of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on April 5, there's a whole new set of musical choices to geek out over. From classic pop hits to indie songs to, yes, The Phantom of the Opera, the music of the second season perfectly underscores the latest twists and turns of Sabrina's journey. We've assembled nearly two dozen of the songs featured in the new season - check them out in the gallery below!
The Crown's Season 4 Cast Is Packed With A-Listers and Newcomers Alike
Even though the third season of Netflix's epic historical drama The Crown hasn't set its debut date, we're already super excited about the fourth season, too! The next two seasons will see a new set of actors tackling the roles of the British royal family and the people around them, carrying the story through the 1970s and 1980s. Because it's based in history, there are some characters who are likely to appear in the third season but not the fourth, and others will not be introduced until the fourth season in 2020. The next two seasons will include some major, award-winning stars, but also some bright young newcomers. Check out the major players in the cast ahead!
Kate McKinnon Will Star as Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu's Upcoming Miniseries
Source: Getty / Rich Fury
Kate McKinnon will star as Elizabeth Holmes in a new series on Hulu called The Dropout, based on ABC's podcast of the same name. The Emmy-winning actress is known for the hilarity she brings to Saturday Night Live and comedies, so I personally can't wait to see her take on this more serious role. Deadline broke the news on Wednesday and confirmed that McKinnon will executive produce the limited series along with Rebecca Jarvis, the journalist who hosted the popular podcast that catapulted Holmes's story into the spotlight.
Source: ABC radio
If you haven't yet listened to the podcast, watched HBO's documentary called The Inventor, or read the book titled Bad Blood, you might not know the whole bizarre tale. The short version is that Holmes was set to be the youngest female billionaire after introducing revolutionary technology that could replace traditional blood tests, but it turns out a whole lot of fraud - and bogus science - was involved along the way. You've still got time to catch up on the podcast before watching McKinnon's sure-to-be-entertaining portrayal of it all.

I am incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series." We look forward to seeing the great work from Oprah and Prince Harry.

In Case You Forgot, Jorah and Lyanna Mormont Are Indeed Related on Game of Thrones
With seven seasons completed, Game of Thrones viewers are surely familiar with the families at the forefront. The Starks, Targaryens, and Lannisters are essentially the big three going into the final season - but there are tons of smaller families in Westeros, too. Take, for example, the Mormonts. While they're not a major noble house, they've been present throughout the series with various characters. Its surviving main players are cousins Ser Jorah Mormont and Lady Lyanna Mormont. Yes, in case you didn't know, they're cousins! Here's their familial breakdown.
Jorah's father is Jeor Mormont, better known as the Lord Commander, or leader, of the Night's Watch during the show's first three seasons. Prior to the events of the series, Jeor was the Lord of Bear Island and the head of his house. Joining the Night's Watch then passed those titles onto Jorah. However, we first meet Jorah in Essos, where he's fled after getting caught illegally selling poachers to slavery for money to please his wife's expensive tastes.
With Jorah away from Bear Island, Jeor's sister, who is also Lyanna's mother, rules instead. Since House Mormont is an ally of House Stark's, Maege fights with Robb Stark during the War of the Five Kings. Though Lyanna calls her mother a great warrior in season six, she also reveals that Maege died in combat. This leaves Lyanna as the Lady of Bear Island - and she's an amazing, badass one at that.
Despite the fact that Jorah and Lyanna are first cousins, they have yet to actually cross paths on the show. Their lack of interaction makes sense considering they've been on opposite sides of their world. In season seven, he even tells Samwell Tarly that his house forgot about him a long time ago as a way to explain why writing Lyanna about his greyscale would be pointless - which begs the question: have Jorah and Lyanna even met at all? She's still so young, after all, so it's possible that they only knew each other very briefly.
But since they're both in Westeros and both supporting the same side of the impending war against the white walkers, they're bound to have a Mormont reunion at some point, right? With the shame Jorah's crime and exile brought to their house and Lyanna's expert levels of sass, it would certainly be an interesting one to watch!
This Photographer Did a Newborn Shoot With a Baby French Bulldog, and MY HEART
Hi, I'm Alessia, and in my spare time I dream about the day I move out of my apartment building and can own a French Bulldog (no offense to my two cats, but they're not exactly puppies). So when Brenden Boggs of So Cute Photo sent me "newborn" photos of a teeny French Bulldog named Olive, I about died. Olive was a birthday gift (best gift ever) for Brenden's friend Rachel, a fellow photographer, and as soon as Brenden saw how cute Olive was, she reached out to Rachel to see if she'd like a "newborn shoot" done.
Thank goodness, she said yes.
"I mean does it get any better? I get to photograph this adorably little French bulldog puppy and get puppy snuggles. My heart was full all day," Brenden wrote on her blog.
See the incredibly precious photos of Olive (who has her own Instagram) ahead - you won't want to use your eyes to see anything else ever again.

Chip and Joanna Gaines Are Launching a Cable Network in 2020 - Here's What We Know
Chip and Joanna Gaines's newest "renovation" project doesn't involve revamping a shabby house, but it's still just as exciting. The couple best known for their home renovation work on the HGTV series Fixer Upper is launching their own Discovery-affiliated cable network in Summer 2020. The channel will essentially replace what is now the DIY Network, and Chip and Joanna will serve as its chief creative officers, while Allison Page, president of HGTV, will carry over the same title for the new project.
"Chip and Joanna Gaines have become trusted household names since the debut of Fixer Upper, and through this joint venture, Discovery is proud to extend our relationship with them," Discovery CEO David Zaslav said according to The Hollywood Reporter. "They've got authenticity and relatability, that special something that is so difficult in our business to find. People love them, their taste, their businesses - they've built an ecosystem that aligns perfectly with our vision at Discovery for fueling people's passion."
The network, which has yet to be named, will obviously play reruns of all five seasons of Fixer Upper, as well as programs centered on a variety of topics ranging from community, home, garden, food, wellness, entrepreneurialism, and design. There are also plans for an accompanying app and subscription streaming service.

Dunkin' Donuts' Flavored Signature Lattes Are Here, and They Sound Damn Delicious
Just days after releasing its all-new Peeps-flavored doughnuts and coffee drinks, Dunkin' Donuts is adding yet another sweet upgrade to its menu. On April 2, the fast food chain introduced its new Signature Lattes in three exciting flavors: Blueberry Crisp, Caramel Craze, and Cocoa Mocha.
According to a release from the brand, all three Signature Lattes are on sale now at participating locations nationwide. And if you're wondering how a Signature Latte differs from a classic latte - which is usually made with steamed milk and espresso - Dunkin' claims that these drinks take ordinary lattes to the next level with their unique flavors and toppings and "artful" presentations.
The lattes are now available to purchase hot or iced. See descriptions of each flavor ahead.
- Dunkin' Donuts Signature Lattes
- Blueberry Crisp Latte: A blueberry- and caramel-flavored drink topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
- Caramel Craze Latte: A caramel-flavored drink topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar.
- Cocoa Mocha Latte: A mocha-flavored drink topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and hot chocolate powder.
This Is How All Your Favorite Chefs Make Deviled Eggs
'Tis the season for deviled eggs, and we've got a fresh batch of recipe inspiration from your favorite chefs. Take a break from traditional deviled eggs and add crab like Giada De Laurentiis, smoked salmon à la Ina Garten, or pink peppercorns if you're channeling Alton Brown. Ahead, check out all the ways your favorite food celebrities dress up their deviled eggs, and snag your favorite recipes for Easter and beyond.
Alton Brown: Pepper Speckled
Leave it to Alton Brown to take an unexpected approach to deviled eggs. His five-pepper deviled eggs are topped with a combination of five types of whole peppercorns: pink, white, black, green, and brined green. After grinding the peppercorns and sprinkling them on top of the eggs, you're left with a colorful egg that has a flavorful crunch in every bite.
Giada De Laurentiis: Crab Infused
Giada De Laurentiis's deviled eggs with crab are exactly what you need if you're looking for a slightly elevated yet doable version of the classic Easter appetizer. Not only are the eggs stuffed with lump crab meat, but they also have an Italian flair thanks to mascarpone cheese.
Chrissy Teigen: Secretly Spicy
Want to be Chrissy Teigen's friend? The criteria, according to the cookbook author herself, are "you must never call and you must love deviled eggs. Parties and holidays were created for deviled eggs," she writes in the intro for her Secretly Spicy Deviled Eggs on page 132 of Cravings. She swears hers don't evoke any grandma vibes, and she's right: there's sriracha and pickled jalapeños.
Ree Drummond: With a Secret Ingredient
The Pioneer Woman's deviled eggs might seem standard at first, but there's one ingredient that sets them apart from the rest: pickle juice. Instead of just adding relish to the top as many people do, Ree Drummond recommends stirring a small amount (a teaspoon) of pickle juice into the yolk mixture so the whole egg is flavored with tangy, salty goodness.
Sunny Anderson: Surprisingly Crunchy
Ever had a crunchy deviled egg before? Sunny Anderson's deviled eggs might convince you that's the only way to go. Sunny's trick is to add canned fried onions on top (yep, the good stuff from Thanksgiving). Lemon zest brightens them up, and pickled jalapeños add just the right amount of acidity.
Ina Garten: Topped With Smoked Salmon
Add a pop of pink to your spread with Ina Garten's smoked salmon deviled eggs. A decadent filling of sour cream and cream cheese makes these deviled eggs reminiscent of a lox bagel with cream cheese, save for the carbs. As always, Ina's recipe calls for "good mayonnaise," but yes, store-bought is fine.

There's a Floating Taco Bar in the Caribbean, So Excuse Us While We Fly There and Never Come Back
The Caribbean's first-ever floating taco and cocktail bar, Lime Out, recently opened in St. John, and it's the whole reason the US Virgin Islands just landed the top spot on our bucket list. The new eatery that floats 200 feet off Hansen Bay Beach can only be reached by kayak, paddle board, or a power boat. There's even a drive-through-style service for boats passing by and a sea-level wooden bar with submerged bar stools for those looking to stay a while.
"The East end of St. John is amazing, pristine, and untouched, and we're trying to honor that by inviting people to enjoy all of its beauty and having really delicious tacos and cocktails while doing it," Chelsea Baranowski told POPSUGAR. Baranowski owns Lime Out and built the bar with her husband, Richard.
Lime Out's head chef, Amaro Rivera, only uses the freshest ingredients for the tacos, which he designed himself. The menu includes 11 specially crafted tacos, including fresh-catch ceviche, surf and turf, rum ribs, shrimp, green curry chicken, and more. Their goal is to source everything locally to ensure the best quality products, and according to Baranowski, there are already plans to expand the menu.
If tacos aren't really your thing, the floating bar's craft cocktails are sure to get your attention. All cocktails are made with freshly squeezed juice and embrace the tropical vibes. For example, "The Danger" cocktail is mixed with fresh watermelon juice, lime juice, Thai chili-infused tequila, and pineapple. "This concept has been my husband Richard's dream for over two-and-a-half years," she continued. "He's been drawing it in the sand and designing it for [a long time]. The Virgin Islands need more options for locals and visitors who are seeking a totally different dining experience, so this is our version of [that]."
Better yet, the bar is eco-friendly, using recyclable cups, no straws, and biodegradable taco containers. Since being environmentally conscious is a priority, the team also does a regular check under the boat to clean up anything that may have dropped. You'll Want to Steal The Pioneer Woman's Clever Hack For Chopping Hard-Boiled Eggs
The Pioneer Woman is full of cooking tips, but this one might be her best yet. The Food Network chef shared her favorite trick for chopping up leftover Easter eggs, and we can't believe we've never thought of it before: a cooling rack!
You just place a mixing bowl underneath the rack and gently press the hard-boiled egg into it - you're left with a perfectly symmetrical chop in a matter of seconds. This is WAY better than using a knife, right? Ree Drummond claims you can chop a dozen eggs in less than a minute with this method, so that sounds pretty good to us. Check out the step-by-step photos below, and see how Drummond uses the eggs in her Easter leftovers sandwich.
Hang Out With Some of Disney's Most Chilling Villains at Disney World's After-Hours Spectacular
When the princesses are away, the villains will play. Disney's most dastardly villains are creeping out from the shadows of Disney World and taking over the Magic Kingdom this Summer in a chilling, late-night spectacular - and you've never seen Maleficent like this before.
Disney villains are the characters we're supposed to detest, but what if they had control over the happiest place on Earth? As part of the park's annual Disney After Hours event from June 6 to Aug. 8, guests are invited to walk on the wild side and experience the Magic Kingdom through the eyes of Disney's most nefarious crew - but what kind of dark magic do they have hidden up their sleeves?
During the park's limited-time event, Hades and Meg from Hercules will set the stage of Cinderella's Castle ablaze in an all-new production called Villains Unite the Night, with special guest appearances from Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and Maleficent. Guests will also be able to experience special villain-inspired enchantments on rides like Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as enjoy low wait times on 20 of the Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions. Dibs on the Haunted Mansion!
The coolest part? Maleficent's dragon will be creeping through the park in parade float form and breathing fire wherever she goes, making for a sinister surprise and some amazing selfies. As for the food? There will be desserts, drinks, and dishes inspired by The Red Queen, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Hades, and Dr. Facilier, and even Emperor Zurg will be available to guests who attend this special event.
But there is one important thing to note: while all of our favorite villains will be entertaining guests into the wee hours of the night, they will not be available for character meet and greets during Disney After Hours. The event runs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on select nights, but park guests are invited to enter as early as 7 p.m. to enjoy some food and fireworks before the true show begins. Tickets go on sale on April 29 and can be purchased in advance for $139 per adult or child, plus tax, or purchased on the day of the event for $144 per adult or child, plus tax.
