I Resisted Dad Sneakers For 1 Year, but This $100 Pair Changed My Mind
Even though I'm always in tune with the latest trends, I'm the kind of girl who tends to admire them from afar. I almost always stick to my uniform of jeans, sweater, and white sneakers. For a trend to really jump out and grab my attention (or credit card), I need to be totally sold. When the whole dad sneaker wave came a little over a year ago, I got it, I respected it, but I wasn't into it for myself. Every time I saw my favorite blogger or Scandinavian street style star wearing them, I thought, "You're so cool, you can pull it off," but imagined myself looking like a clown in the clunky shoes. As time went on, more and more brands and retailers released their own versions of the shoe. Every time I saw one, it slowly started to make me think maybe I should try it.
Eventually, the pair that convinced me finally arrived: the Nike M2K Tekno Sneakers ($100). To be fair, these are a little more "dad" than other choices on the market, but I was officially committed. Maybe it's because subconsciously they remind me the ones my dad wore when I was young - and, come to think of it, still wears to this day. I could finally match with him and I was ready to buy some.

My boyfriend and I love watching comedies from the '90s and early 2000s before bed at night. We've both seen these flicks hundreds of times for the most part, but if he's trying to introduce me to a classic I haven't watched, I always ask the same absurdly childish question about the film before we start: "What actresses are in it?" "Do I look like Britney Spears at 17?" I've generally started to ask my family and friends (who are not in the fashion industry) before we go out to the movies or a low-key diner for dinner. "Um, yes actually, exactly like that," they say, raising their eyebrows at me like I am a crazy person. "Good, that's what I'm going for!" I assure them.
But as I've run out of Britney, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, and Gwen Stefani outfits to re-create, I've turned my attention to the screen. After I watched Pulp Fiction for the first time, I dressed in Mia Wallace's sexy, simple black-and-white color palette for a solid week. The Dior Cruise Show Took Us on a Literal and Figurative Journey to Marrakech
The biggest names in the fashion industry took a trip to Morocco this week, when Maria Grazia Chiuri invited guests to the incredible Palais El Badi in Marrakech for the Dior Cruise 2020 show. The atmospheric grounds of the ancient palace were transformed into a runway, as models walked around the courtyard pool, which was lit with torches and bonfires to light up the night for the evening show. With the likes of Lupita Nyong'o, Jessica Alba, and Karlie Kloss in the front row, the designer presented a collection that traveled across continents, paying homage to pan-African craftsmanship and traditions, fusing them with heritage Dior hallmarks and new ideas.

In the first month following my big move to New York after college, I learned plenty of vital life lessons the hard way. Charlize Theron's Bold Baby Bangs Are Fake, but We Kinda Sorta Wish They Were Real
Charlize Theron is showing off some bold-as-hell bangs. The 43-year-old actress stepped out for the Longshot premiere on April 30 with some fake fringe to complement her bold brunette bob, courtesy of her stylist Adir Abergel.
"I love that she is a risk-taker and explores different styles. For the premiere, we wanted to push it just a little bit further, and I decided to give her some faux bangs," Abergel said. "My inspiration for tonight's look is an image of Linda Evangelista from the '90s. Linda was always bold with her looks, and so is Charlize."
Abergel achieved Theron's look by first prepping her hair with the Virtue Restorative Treatment Mask ($28) and then blow-drying it straight. He applied Virtue Un-Frizz Cream ($40) and Virtue Volumizing Primer ($36) from the roots to midshaft of her hair, and followed the products up with a rough dry and flat-iron. Next, Abergel styled the hair into a tight, low ponytail with faux bangs clipped on top. He finished it off by using the Un-Frizz Cream on the bold baby bangs.

Noah Centineo Will Play He-Man in the Reboot: "I Have an Affinity For Being in My Underwear"
Everyone's favorite internet boyfriend will be transforming from a boy we've loved before to the legendary He-Man.
Back in March, it was reported that Noah Centineo was in talks to star in Sony Pictures and Mattel Films's reboot of the 1987 film Masters of the Universe. On April 29, Centineo confirmed his new role when he stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. When Fallon asked about his upcoming projects and whether or not the rumors were true, the 22-year-old actor happily affirmed that he's set to play He-Man in the hotly anticipated reboot and joked about his affinity for being in his underwear. "I'm very excited!" he added. "It's quite an opportunity."
The original Dolph Lundgren and Courteney Cox-led film stemmed from Mattel's toy line, which also spawned the classic '80s animated TV series that aired from 1983 to 1985. For those who aren't as well-versed in the land of Eternia (honestly, what have you been doing with your life?), the franchise follows Prince Adam, the protector of Eternia who transforms into the mighty warrior He-Man with the help of his magical sword. For some reason, the transformation involves shedding his clothes for a harness and speedo, but it was the '80s so we'll let it slide. He-Man's main nemesis, Skeletor, is well-known for becoming the face of various memes, which is probably the only time he's succeeded at anything.
According to Variety, Sony was eager to find another gig for Centineo after working with him on the upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot. The actor is currently working on the sequel for Netflix's To All the Boys I've Loved Before and stars in the streaming giant's most recent rom-com The Percet Date.

Somehow, Emilia Clarke Found a Way to Make Us Laugh in Her Tribute to Her Game of Thrones Costar

Of all the Game of Thrones characters, Jorah Mormont has certainly had a time. He was disowned by his family and banished twice (once from Westeros and again, years later, by Daenerys after she finds out he was originally sent to spy on her for Robert Baratheon). He nearly dies sailing through Old Valyria with Tyrion, narrowly avoids death in the fighting pits of Mereen, and nearly dies again after contracting greyscale from him and Tyrion's little joy ride (and the treatment he receives from Samwell Tarly doesn't exactly look like a walk in the park either). Then there's the whole unrequited love situation that has tortured him since the first season.
Ser Jorah's struggles finally came to an end, however, in the episode "The Long Night," during the much-anticipated Battle of Winterfell. And it's no surprise that he died protecting Daenerys (remember, he believed he was put on Earth to defend her). Suffering stab wound after stab wound from a ferocious gang of wights, Ser Jorah dies in Dany's arm seconds after Arya Stark stabs the Night King, shattering him and his army into slivers of ice. In an already anxiety-inducing and heart-wrenching episode, this scene is particularly intense and emotional as the two characters try and process their complicated feelings of love and loyalty.
"There had never been a moment where she more needed someone to fight to protect her than this moment," series creator D.B. Weiss said of the scene in an Inside the Episode clip. "If he could have chosen a way to die, this is how he would've chosen to die."
In real life, it appears the actors have an equally as deep friendship - a bond that started from the very beginning. "The first day on set I fell off my horse and cried," Clarke told PEOPLE in a recent interview. "I have the most visceral memory of the first day, it is Iain Glen calming the horse, calming me, and I was like: 'That is my friend for life.'"
A day after Glen's final episode, Clarke took to her Instagram account to say goodbye to the person who she's probably spent the most time with throughout the eight seasons of Game of Thrones. And while their final scene together is sad and heartbreaking, Clarke's tribute is full of her goofy sense of humor and includes lyrics from the Tina Turner song "The Best" to help her find the right words. "YOURE SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST, BETTER THAN ANYONE, ANYONE IVE EVER MET......"
