We Asked, and Dairy Queen Answered! The Snickers Blizzard Is Back With a Peanut Butter Twist

Thanks to the power of social media, Dairy Queen has brought back one of its most popular frozen treats: the Snickers Blizzard! Yep, after being bombarded by tweets from customers who were more than a little upset to see the blizzard leave the menu, the ice cream chain is giving us two Snickers-themed blizzards, and it's like an ice cream dream come true!

The Snickers Blizzard Treat will consist of classic vanilla soft serve and candy bar chunks. Yum! As for the second flavor? The brand-new Peanut Butter Pie Snickers Blizzard Treat will take the same vanilla soft serve and candy bar chunks and combine them with graham cracker pieces and a creamy peanut butter sauce; I can already taste the chewy nougat-and-caramel combo.

Currently available nationwide, these tasty frozen treats will only be around through the end of August, so be sure to grab one while you can!

The Perfect Personalized Gift: DIY Tile Photo Coasters

Perfect for any special day, a set of these tile photo coasters will cost less than $5 to make. The square tiles from your local home goods store makes this DIY a unique way to showcase your favorite Instagram snaps. All you need is some Mod Podge and a bit of felt to complete this fun project. Stack and wrap the finished photo coasters with a ribbon, and you've got the perfect gift for someone special. These coasters are so cute, you'll probably end up making another set for yourself.

What You'll Need:

  • Four 4-by-4-inch white tiles
  • Four 4-by-4-inch square pictures
  • Scissors
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam brush
  • Felt
  • Hot glue gun
  • Length of ribbon
  • Clear spray sealant

Directions:

  1. Pick up small white tiles at your local home goods store, which will run you less than a dollar each. You can also go with a colored tile for a more personalized DIY. Select pictures to use for the project, resize to four by four inches on your computer, then print. Select images to fit the special day, such as cute shots of your nieces and nephews for Mother's Day, snow-filled pictures for the holiday seasons, or fun snaps for a special birthday.
  1. Cut out the pictures, rounding the edges, which gives the finished photo coasters a nice look. Coat the front of the tile with a thin layer of Mod Podge, then center and press a picture to the tile. Let dry for 20 minutes, then coat the top of the picture with a light coating of Mod Podge, brushing horizontally then vertically. Let dry for another 20 minutes and then lightly coat again, sealing the top of the coaster and ensuring the photo is completely adhered to the tile.
  1. Cut four small one-inch squares from the felt for each tile, and use a hot glue gun to stick one square of felt to each corner of the tile. Give the dry photo coasters a quick coat of clear spray sealant, which will completely moisture-proof the finished project.
  1. Wrap the finished stacked tile photo coasters with a length of ribbon, and they are ready to give to someone special. Or keep them for yourself and enjoy the next time you're savoring your favorite beverage.

Jason Momoa Will Seek Revenge in Netflix's Upcoming Thriller Sweet Girl

Jason Momoa is set to produce and star in a new Netflix revenge thriller called Sweet Girl. The Aquaman actor will play Cooper, a shattered husband and loving father who is committed to avenging the death of his wife. While he brings justice to those responsible for her death, he must keep his only daughter safe during all those intense fight scenes.

Momoa reunited with long-time friend Brian Andrew Mendoza, who will make his feature directorial debut with Sweet Girl. Mendoza and Momoa previously collaborated on 2018 thriller Braven. Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson are also on board to produce Sweet Girl, with Martin Kistler executive producing. Peyton worked with Momoa before in the production of Canadian drama series Frontier.

As for Momoa, he's recently wrapped an ultrasuccessful run at the box office with Aquaman, which brought in $1 billion since its release in December. He's also just finished filming the 2020 remake and adaptation of the iconic science-fiction novel Dune, starring Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.

Momoa's film career is officially picking up some A-list momentum this Summer, and we can't wait to see what's next.

Someone Wrote a Fake Script For an Episode of Queer Eye, and I'm Dying to Read More

Season four of Queer Eye officially dropped on Netflix earlier this month, and just in case you've already marathoned through all eight episodes, I'd like to direct your attention to a fake script for the show that might just be the funniest thing I've read all day. The script was shared to Twitter on Monday by comedian Keaton Patti. "I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of Queer Eye and then asked it to write an episode of Queer Eye of its own," Patti tweeted. "Here is the first page." Just a little disclaimer, Patti didn't actually make a bot write the fake script. The script is one of many parodies he's written and posted to his Instagram account, @bot_scripts. Bot or not, the script is a pretty side-splitting read.

There are A LOT of bizarre things happening in the fake episode. Between Jonathan Van Ness firing a shampoo ray, Karamo Brown being nicknamed "culture daddy," and the Fab Five's subject being a man named Grilly who lives in a giant bottle of Mountain Dew with his partner, Arby's, it's honestly difficult for me to pick out the best part. I'm not saying that I would totally watch this if it were a real episode, but I'm also not saying I wouldn't. Read the full script above, and let's all hope that Antoni Porowski officially changes his title to "groceries professor" ahead of the next season.

Cardi B, Victoria Beckham, and Gigi Hadid Are All Obsessed With These Sneakers

If you love working out, it feels like you always need a new pair of sneakers. They're not meant to last forever, and excessive use can change the way they feel and perform, which is totally normal. What it does mean, though, is that we have a lot of shopping to do. Right now, we're crushing hard on Reebok sneakers, and here's why. They've got a ton of different styles, so whether you like going to bootcamp or walking to and from your yoga studio, there's a pair that's made for you. They also have a ton of high-profile fans, like Victoria Beckham, who just launched her second collaboration with the brand, Gigi Hadid, and most recently, Cardi B.

From classics that would feel right at home with jeans and a Summer dress to serious performance footwear, these are the styles you're going to fall in love with. They're comfortable, cute, and completely versatile. We just can't seem to pick a favorite.

Meghan Markle Is Launching a Workwear Collection to Remind Women "We Are in It Together"

It's no secret that Meghan Markle is a style icon, and thanks to her upcoming workwear collection, women will be able to say they were styled by the Duchess of Sussex herself. Following her recent stint as a guest editor for the September issue of British Vogue, Meghan has partnered with a few of her friends from the fashion world, including Marks & Spencer, Jigsaw, John Lewis, and Misha Nonoo, to create a line of stylish and sophisticated workwear for women in the UK.

Meghan announced the news of her capsule collection in British Vogue, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie on Twitter. "Not only does this allow us to be part of each other's story, it reminds us we are in it together," Meghan told the magazine, per Omid's tweet.

The collection is set to launch later this year, and each item will be sold on a "one-for-one basis," which means that for every item of clothing purchased, another will be donated to a woman in need. Back in January, Meghan became the royal patron of Smart Works, a charity focused on helping unemployed women looking to return to the workforce by providing free clothes and interview training. The "one-for-one" system will directly support Smart Works, helping women regain their confidence and secure the jobs they deserve.

During her visit with the charity earlier this year, Meghan said, "It's not just donating your clothes and seeing where they land, it's really being part of each other's success stories as women." Cheers to that, Meghan!

Um, YUM: Nestlé Tollhouse Has New Espresso Morsels Made With Roasted Coffee

Chocolate chips, shmocolate chips. Nestlé Tollhouse now has espresso morsels that are going to change the game if you love adding a touch of coffee flavor to desserts. (Ina Garten would absolutely approve, and yes, store-bought is perfect in this case). The rich morsels are made with sugar, cocoa, and real roasted coffee, and they'd be excellent in chocolate cookies, brownies, and scones. I'd also definitely experiment with half chocolate chips and half espresso chips in pancakes for an extra dose of caffeine in the morning. You can currently find nine-ounce bags of Nestlé Tollhouse Espresso Morsels at Walmart for $3, and you might as well grab Nestlé's Unicorn Morsels, too.

Try This Ironman Champ's Interval Workout For Cardio, Strength, and a Whole Lot of Pain

World champion Australian triathlete Mirinda Carfrae, aka Rinny, is on pretty close terms with extreme bodily pain. She's won the Ironman World Championships three times, (which, as a reminder, consists of a 2.4-mile swim, an 112-mile bike ride, and a full marathon). Just reading about this treadmill workout she does almost brought me to tears. Sub-7 minute miles? For 60 minutes straight?! This is an athlete who does not mess around (I mean, she calls her at-home gym in Boulder, CO, "the pain cave").

And if you needed any more proof, just take a look at her 90-minute "short" cycling workout. "This session has a little bit of everything," she told POPSUGAR. Short, fast sections help to improve your VO2 Max, while resistance repeats are great for specific strength training. She trains at pretty mind-boggling intensities on a high-tech Technogym Mycycling Indoor Cycle Trainer (because, again, Ironman champion). But the great thing about her workout is that, structure-wise, it's doable for anyone at any level who wants a little combo cardio-and-strength training. Hop on your stationary bike, and give it a whirl (with some modifications).

Mirinda Carfrae's Cycling Workout

  • Warmup: 15 minutes at an easy pace
  • 30 seconds at max pace, 2:30 rest. Repeat five times.
  • 3 minutes at a solid, sustainable pace, one minute rest. Repeat five times.
  • 5 minutes at a hard resistance, 1 minute rest. Repeat three to four times.
  • Warm-down: 10-15 minutes at an easy pace, as needed; Rinny sometimes switches to a treadmill to cool down.

Again, this is a long and challenging cardio workout, so we recommend you shave down a few sets and start at a lower intensity. Try two to three sets of the max and solid pace intervals, for example, instead of five. And if it's your first time, don't push the speed too hard. Slowly ramp up to find your true max pace. Going out too fast definitely will not feel good and may lead to injury.

And after it's all over, don't forget to rehydrate and stretch out. Here's a full-body stretching routine and some hip-specific yoga poses that we predict your body will appreciate.

Elton John Celebrates 29 Years of Sobriety With a Personal Instagram Post: "I Was a Broken Man"

Elton John has accomplished yet another major feat. On Sunday, the 72-year-old musician celebrated 29 years of sobriety with a touching Instagram post. He shared a photo of his sobriety chip, a milestone marker engraved with the phrase "to thine one self be true," along with the words "unity," "strength," and "recovery."

Along with the personal photo, Elton also penned a touching message. "29 years ago today, I was a broken man," he wrote. "I finally summoned up the courage to say 3 words that would change my life: 'I need help'. Thank-you to all the selfless people who have helped me on my journey through sobriety. I am eternally grateful."

Over the years, Elton has been transparent about his road to recovery, which was documented in the recently released musical biopic Rocketman. He battled with both drug and alcohol addictions, before he eventually checked himself into Chicago's Parkside Lutheran Hospital in 1990.

"I am a survivor," Elton told Variety in May. "I've survived a lot of things. Life is full of pitfalls, even when you're sober. I can deal with them now because I don't have to run away and hide."

Rue Just Revealed Another Part of Her Mental Health Struggle on Euphoria

None of the characters on HBO's Euphoria are exactly healthy, and that goes double for protagonist Rue, the newly clean teenage addict at the center of a group of seriously messed-up teens. Aside from her addiction, the show has mostly steered clear of talking about her mental health - until now. In a flashback, we see a psychologist who saw Rue as a child suggest that she could potentially have bipolar disorder. Is that diagnosis what's affecting Rue in the present day?

The show doesn't fully label a current diagnosis for Rue, although viewers who paid close attention in the pilot episode might recall allusions to her being bipolar as well. As she goes through a cycle of manic and depressive episodes - one side effect of which is her figuring out most of the truth about Tyler, Nate, and Jules - she begins to muse on her bipolar disorder after all. Rue seems to view her mental illness with some disgust, as she refuses help until she's almost physically incapacitated, but she does score a small victory: she doesn't give into temptation to self-medicate, even under a high-pressure situation at Fezco's place.

Bipolar disorder is a complicated situation, and it's not one that's often depicted on TV - and even less often depicted for characters who aren't villains. According to the National Institute For Mental Health, bipolar disorder can present in different ways, but they all have some major symptoms in common.

"Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks. There are four basic types of bipolar disorder; all of them involve clear changes in mood, energy, and activity levels." One of the signature symptoms of the disorder is a pattern of intense emotions and ups-and-downs.

"People with bipolar disorder experience periods of unusually intense emotion, changes in sleep patterns and activity levels, and unusual behaviors. These distinct periods are called "mood episodes." Mood episodes are drastically different from the moods and behaviors that are typical for the person. Extreme changes in energy, activity, and sleep go along with mood episodes," NIMH describes. The organization also cautions that bipolar disorder is still present even when symptoms are less extreme, and that, since bipolar often co-exists with other mental and/or physical illnesses, a proper and thorough diagnosis is crucial to successful treatment. With Rue hitting a major low point in the most recent Euphoria episode, it will be interesting to see how (and if) the series depicts her seeking treatment.

This Feature on the iPhone Can Actually Help You Sleep Better - I Swear by It

It happens every night like clockwork. I finish my evening skincare routine, turn down the lights, then spend a good chunk of time just clicking around on my phone. Sometimes it's 30 minutes, and other times I get sucked into a time vortex, and the next thing I know, it's 2 a.m. Or at least that's what used to happen - fortunately, Apple introduced a solution to this problem with the iOS 10 update, and it has literally saved my sleep.

You'll find the Bedtime feature in the Clock app, and it's super easy to use. You simply tell the app when you want to wake up, the number of hours you need to sleep, and which days of the week you want to follow this schedule. You can also choose to have your phone remind you when it's time to go to sleep, and select a gentle sound to wake up to each morning. The reminder has been extremely helpful for me, especially when I've fallen down an Instagram or Pinterest rabbit hole on a Tuesday.

But it's actually the Do Not Disturb setting that has had the greatest impact on my sleep. When this is on, the lock screen dims, all text messages and calls are silenced, and any notifications received are stored in history. I find that having my phone silenced during the hours I'm supposed to be sleeping helps prevent me from waking up during the night.

For someone who has historically had a hard time getting to bed because of distractions and simply losing track of time, the Bedtime feature is a lifesaver. Maybe technology - and our relationship with it - doesn't have to be so bad after all.

For someone who has historically had a hard time getting to bed because of distractions and simply losing track of time, the Bedtime feature is a lifesaver. Maybe technology - and our relationship with it - doesn't have to be so bad after all.

People Have Mixed Feelings on What Happens With Piper and Alex’s Relationship on OITNB

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Orange Is the New Black!

The final season of Orange Is the New Black is super emotional - or is that just us? The most prominent relationship through all seven seasons is between Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) and Alex Vause (Laura Prepon). So, naturally, how their mutual love progresses or ends during the finale is a big deal.

Just as a reminder, Piper proposes to Alex in season five, and she accepts. Piper gets early release from prison in the season six finale, but she insists on getting "prison married" before she leaves. So in an unofficial ceremony by their friend Nicky Nichols (Natasha Lyonne) with witness Lorna Morello (Yael Stone) the two are announced wife and wife.

Things get tough when Piper becomes a free woman, due to the distance, but both love each other so much that they fight for. At the end of the season, Alex breaks it off and sets Piper free, because she's being transferred to an Ohio prison. But in a clip at the very end, we see Piper visiting Alex in that prison. The two hold hands, laugh, and smile, which leads us to believe that they will make it work (Piper might have even moved to Ohio!) no matter what.

Since the ending isn't completely clear, fans are having mixed feelings about the future of Piper and Alex.

Typewriter: Get Ready to Lose Sleep Over Netflix's Horrifying New Series

We ain't afraid of no ghosts . . . but Netflix's Typewriter just might change that. The Indian horror mystery, now streaming on Netflix, is already the subject of social media buzz for its downright terrifying tale of a haunted house and the mysteries that lurk there. Before you buckle in to scare yourself silly, here's what to know about the basics of the show.

The premise of the story is the stuff of horror stories everywhere. There's a haunted house in a coastal region of India that's reportedly home to a bunch of ghosts, and, of course, a trio of ghost-hunting friends set out to discover the truth. The three young friends, Sam, Bunty, and Gablu, decide to try to capture the ghost that supposedly lives there. Before they can get very far, though, a new family moves into the Bardez Villa - and that's when the real horror kicks in.

Over the course of the show's five episodes, the house's horrors keep escalating, and we start to understand what the significance of the show's opening sequence really is. Before we join the present-day characters, we meet an author, Madhav Mathews, who's writing his next book, with the eerie title The Ghost of Sultanpore, on a typewriter. His granddaughter Jenny finds him and tells him that she's frightened and she can hear a ghost crying in her room. Like a good grandfather, he helps her go back to bed and reassures her that his ghost stories are just fiction - but when they return to her room, he finds the real Jenny under the bed. In the present day, we learn that The Ghost of Sultanpore is something of a mystery now: the book was finished, but there's a legend that Matthews died of a heart attack when he had just begun to write it. That mystery is the initial driving force of the trio of kid characters, who dub themselves the "ghost club."

They discover that Jenny, now an adult, still owns the house and has just moved in with her husband, daughter, and son, thanks to her husband's new job transfer. While Anya, the daughter, does her best to blend in with the teenage crowd, her younger brother Nick is obsessed with ghost stories - specifically, his great-grandfather's famous book, which he reads despite his mother's frustration. His interest, naturally, means he gravitates right away to the Ghost Club and gets caught up in their "investigation." Sam's father is a police detective who, as you might expect, disapproves of the kids' snooping and wants them to stay out of trouble.

When Anya finds one of the movers in the attic trying to take away an old typewriter, she convinces her parents to keep it rather than let the mover take it. Later, though, Sam's father is called to investigate a dead man in a bar: that same mover. As he begins to investigate, the old-time bartender starts sharing some of the rumors and legends about Bardez Villa: the mysterious disappearance of Jenny's mom and a nanny, the strange happenings, and the rumors about what really lurks at the house. It launches us into a creepy, fast-paced ghost story that's packed with twists and turns.

The Bachelorette's Jed Wyatt Is Just Really Proud of His Dog Food Jingle, OK? Listen to It Here

We've got a real treat for you, Bachelorette fans. We tracked down the dog food jingle that Jed Wyatt, one of Hannah Brown's suitors, low-key bragged to her dad about when he met the parents on this season's finale of the show. Hannah's dad, who met Jed as well as Hannah's other finalist Tyler, understandably seemed a little wary of Jed's career. Jed ensured Papa Brown that he was dedicated to his craft, noting he had landed a gig penning a jingle for dog food, which seems just incredibly on brand for him.

Well here's that jingle, fam. It's for Better Bowl, which sounds like a perfectly fine dog food brand. The jingle is undoubtedly Jed's work. I mean, after all, Jed has mentioned at least once every episode this season of The Bachelorette that he's a musician and doesn't think twice about cramming a song in any time he's on screen. We could pick one of his songs out anywhere! The jingle features his signature crooning - all in the name of giving your pupper a good diet!

The internet obviously has a lot of thoughts about Jed and this discovery of his work - as do we all. Keep reading to peep a few of our favorite reactions.

Blanca's Final Scene on Orange Is the New Black Will Leave You With All the Feels

Warning: Spoilers ahead for the series finale of Orange Is the New Black.

Immigration is a heavy topic tackled in the latest season of Orange is the New Black. One of its original characters, Blanca Flores (Laura Gómez), in particular, finds herself at the center of the deportation scandal. All season long, we watch Blanca's time in the US quickly drift away like sand in an hourglass. Her green card expires, her freedom is at risk, and the love of her life disappears into ICE custody. Let's just say, Blanca's story gives us all the feels.

We start by seeing Blanca in an ICE detention center alongside Maritza (Diane Guerrero). Confusing, because last season we see her walk free, kicking rocks to the Litchfield Penitentiary. We come to find that her freedom came with price: her immigration status. With the help of her new pal, Karla Córdova (Karina Arroyave), Blanca fights to prove she's unfairly being held in ICE custody. Her former lawyer did her a disservice by not explaining all the details of her plea deal after last season's FBI riot investigation - like losing her green card. Blanca was unaware that her status in the States would be lost if she plead guilty.

By the end of the season, we finally see justice for Blanca. She convinces the immigration court to allow her to stay in the US a little longer to fight her case. She finds a new lawyer who helps her regain her legal citizenship and alas, Blanca is finally free! Her boyfriend, Diablo, on the other hand isn't as lucky.

ICE captures Diablo during a visit with Blanca while she's still in custody. He is eventually deported back to Honduras while Blanca is off fighting the legal system in the US. After proving her case and getting her green card reinstated, she leaves the United States for good to be with Diablo in Honduras. The two finally get the happily ever after we've all been rooting for!
