3 Quick and Easy Tips For Keeping Your Dog's Teeth in Check
We may have reached the end of National Pet Dental Health Month, but your pet's teeth are important all the time. Hopefully we've given you some useful tips for brushing already, but just in case, we have a quick and easy three-step process for keeping your dog's teeth healthy for their whole lives, courtesy of Banfield vet Dr. Andrea Sanchez. She calls it the flip, check, treat routine.
1: Flip - Flip your dog's lip up every day to check his teeth.
2: Check - Check with your vet every six months, including having your dog's teeth looked at.
3: Treat - Reward your dog within three seconds of dealing with their teeth.
By keeping these three tips in mind, as well as others we've mentioned, you can ensure that your dog's teeth stay in the best condition possible for his whole life.
