Attention: The Most Electrifying Clothes at Fashion Week Just Hit the Runway
Everyone in the fashion industry's surely got a favorite collection by now, and we bet it's Altuzarra. While the brand is known for making women feel sexy without showing skin, this season gets a bit more frisky. Often inspired by characters in films, Joseph Altuzarra was attracted to Lula's youthful spirit in Wild at Heart. But don't worry, these clothes are still PG-13.
Diagonal ruffles struck a whimsical note, but playfulness took precedence thanks to sequined cherries and lemons that covered so many of the pieces - even the evening wear. The body was defined and flattered by uniting just the right separates, a knee-length skirt, a vibrant bralette, and a metallic belted blazer, for example. Shiny heels were strapped over patterned tights, calling attention to the legs, while geometric earrings said, "Baby, look up here."
While Altuzarra's recently-launched bags played neutral in the wardrobe before, this Spring they'll graduate to must-have status. These punchy pouches and satchels were not made to wear with just anything; they were built to dazzle street style photographers. Finally, it's important to note that gingham, snakeskin, and floral prints should not match in perfect harmony. But when Joseph Altuzarra works his magic, you better believe they do.
