Clever Dog Helps Rescue Puppy Abandoned in a Pile of Garbage
Dogs are loyal to a fault, and not only to their humans, but to other dogs as well. Take Poppy, for example. When she and her human were on a walk recently, Poppy knew there was a puppy in danger underneath a pile of garbage, and she wouldn't leave until her human pulled the puppy out. A post shared on Dublin, Ireland, SPCA's Facebook page tells of Poppy sniffing out the week-old puppy that had been abandoned and is now under the SPCA's care. Had it not been for Poppy's determination to help the pup, she might not have survived, SPCA volunteers said. Awesome work, Poppy!
