This Single Mom Dressed Up For Donuts With Dad So Her Son Wouldn't Miss Out
When Yevette Vasquez was dropping her son off at school, she was surprised to see so many additional cars parked outside. When she asked her son if there was an event going on, Elijah shared with her that it was a "Donuts with Dad" morning. Since Yevette is a single mom, she immediately turned the car around and drove home.
But instead of letting Elijah skip this father-friendly event, she quickly changed and dressed up in a masculine ensemble - complete with a mustache - and brought her child back to school. "I know seeing other dads with their kids isn't easy for mine, but it's life. At least I can do whatever it takes to put a smile on that face," Yevette wrote on Facebook. "I wasn't about to let him miss out."
