What's This? Oh, Just an Eerily Accurate Performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas
Since its release in 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas has undoubtedly attained cult status. It's surprising then that a major reboot or live remake of the Tim Burton movie has yet to transpire, especially considering the ongoing affinity for those. One small stage performance, however, is garnering attention for its eerily spot-on re-creation of the animated film.
The stage production took place at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and a video of lead actor Matthew Patrick Davis performing "Jack's Lament" has since racked up over 2 million views on YouTube. By the looks of the video, Matthew's portrayal of Jack Skellington is so perfect, it's scary, from the voice down to the mannerisms and facial expressions. Watch the video above, and prepare yourself for ensuing heebie-jeebies.
