Although having a strong-willed child can be exhausting at times, it can also mean you're raising a pretty incredible human being. However, there's a difference between being confident in expressing their opinion and just having a bad attitude. It's equally important to keep in mind that just because your kiddo doesn't have perfect manners doesn't instantly make him or her a brat. But if you notice that your kid is quick to say no, usually assumes the worst, and takes some convincing to try new things (usually before being pleasantly surprised!), you might be dealing with a child who has a negative demeanor.
