Dakota Johnson's Sexy, Messy Braid Is Your Valentine's Day Hair Inspiration
For a romantic evening like Valentine's Day, it is essential that you carefully pick your date-night hairstyle. The ideal look is one that is stunning while out to dinner but can hold up to a little romp in the hay afterwards (bonus points if it's still gorgeous the next day!). Appropriately, at the Fifty Shades Darker premiere in Los Angeles, Dakota Johnson sported a sexy, messy braid that checks off all these boxes.
Celebrity stylist Mark Townsend was responsible for the mane masterpiece. He created the look by keeping the crown of her hair voluminous and full, while twisting uneven sections as he braided, using dark bobby pins to hold those pieces in place. The result was a "perfectly imperfect" textured plait.
