Demi Lovato Brought Special Someone to the Grammys - It's Not Who You Think
If you were expecting Demi Lovato to bring rumored boyfriend UFC fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos to the 2017 Grammys, we're sorry to say she didn't, but she did bring someone better. Demi had her stepdad, Eddie de la Garza, by her side for her first Grammys as a nominee and second time performing on stage.
Demi has been open about her tumultuous relationship with her biological father, Patrick Lovato, who died in 2013. Eddie has been married to Demi's mom, Diana, since 1995 and has been an important figure in Demi's life, so it's so exciting to see them share this huge moment of the singer's career. On the red carpet, Eddie confessed to Entertainment Tonight, "I'm just trying to hold back tears, but I'm doing alright." How sweet!
