Emily Ratajkowski Just Created a Political T-shirt Every Girl Will Want to Wear
Like many activists, the fashion crowd isn't putting up with President Donald Trump's immigration policies. During his first weeks in office, he had signed an executive order to ban the US from taking in Syrian refugees and then placed a temporary ban on immigration from Muslim countries. Models, actresses, and style influencers reacted on social media and still continue to do so as Trump announced some new reforms.
Stars like Emily Ratajkowski attended an airport protest at LAX and turned her picket slogan into a tee, while Kerry Washington used her SAG Awards look last month to call for solidarity. This isn't the first time Trump's ruffled Hollywood's feathers. From his election campaign to his comments about designers dressing his wife, Melania, the first family's often the center of controversy. Given the tense political climate so far, we expect even more fashion influencers to rally against Trump in the near future.
