Gigi Hadid Isn't the Only Fashion Influencer Protesting Trump's New Policy
Like so many others, the fashion crowd isn't putting up with Donald Trump's actions in his first weeks of presidency. After he signed an executive order to ban the US from taking in Syrian refugees and placed a temporary ban on immigration from Muslim countries, models, actresses, and style influencers reacted.
So many of the influencers we follow took to social media to voice their concerns. Emily Ratajkowski attended an airport protest at LAX, while Kerry Washington used her SAG Awards look to call for solidarity. No matter where we look, stars are taking a stance against President Trump's policies.
This isn't the first time he's ruffled Hollywood's feathers. From his election campaign to his comments about designers dressing his wife, Melania, the first family's often the center of controversy. Given the tense political climate so far, we expect even more fashion influencers to rally against Trump in the near future.
