Gigi Hadid Reveals the Exact Fitness Mentality She Uses to Get In the Zone at Work
As an ambassador of Reebok's Perfect Never campaign, Gigi Hadid is explaining how her badass fitness mentality helps her focus outside of the gym. She's one of the most popularly recognized supermodels in the entire world, but Gigi's runway mentality was built from her empowering, self-aware fitness background.
"You have to go to work ready to block out everything that's outside of your work environment," she says in the video above. "To be able to change the channel in your mind is to be able to separate your thoughts and just focus on what you're doing at the moment."
Gigi uses each of the principles from the points of the Reebok triangle - social, physical, and mental - to inspire her modeling career. These same three aspects of fitness can help anyone approach their work, and Gigi's advice is incredibly powerful.
"Because my job is based on the way I look, people assume that that means you don't have human qualities in you," she said. "So, I hope that everyone can see that's the point of all this. Is that, it doesn't matter. We're not perfect."
This isn't the first time Gigi's opened up about the idea of perfection on behalf of the Reebok campaign, and her authentic sense of self is one of the many reasons why we love her.
