Kat Von D Just Teased a Mysterious, Insanely Sparkly Product and You Obviously Need It
We hadn't even caught our breath from the news that Kat Von D plans to release more shades of liquid lipstick when ANOTHER sneak peek caught our eye on the official brand's Instagram stories. There's something top secret on the horizon, and it involves serious rainbow glitter.
In a meeting with her product development team, Kat covered her arm in blinged-out swatches in shades of blue, pink, black, red, and gold, showing off the mysterious formula's intense sheen. Instagram posts from Nancy McGuire, the VP of Kat Von D product development, revealed even more angles of the upcoming product, but revealed no other clues.
It's not entirely clear what the product could be from the swatches, but there are two things we do know: it comes in a wide range of color options, and it is impossibly sparkly. It appears to be a liquid formula, but due to Kat Von D's high quality regarding pigmentation, it could actually be a powder, so who knows? Fans are speculating that it is a liquid eye shadow or eyeliner, but we think it's possible that this is an expansion of the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range into a new glitter/metallic category.
