» Mary Katrantzou Just Turned a Disney Favorite into a Fashion Statement
You may have thought you'd already ticked the "Disney fashion" box thanks to that Mickey Mouse Coach handbag, but at London Fashion Week on Sunday, Mary Katrantzou offered up a whole new way to show your love for Disney classics. Scenes from the 1940 musical Fantasia were recreated on sparkling evening gowns and chic velvet jackets, for a look that was truly magical.
Elsewhere in the collection, there were luxurious printed coats, mixed print zip-up dresses, and heavy co-ord sets in stiff jacquard fabrics. But let's be honest, it's those Disney motifs that stole the show, as that iconic imagery came to life in beautiful jewel tones and intricate Swarovski embroidery.
