The Growing List of Grammy Awards Performers Is Only Getting More Impressive
The Grammy Awards are mere days away, which means it's only a matter of time before we find ourselves invigorated by some of the world's best music artists. While we've already seen all the nominations and pondered who will win album of the year, there's one other aspect of the show that hasn't completely been unveiled: the list of performers! Luckily for us, news about the 2017 acts is trickling in, so we're rounding up and presenting all the confirmed artists. If you thought Adele's presence was impressive, just wait until you see who else is slated to sing.
- Adele: As we mentioned above, Adele is officially confirmed to belt out a song on stage. The real question is, what song will she sing?!
- Beyoncé: In early February Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Beyoncé will perform at the Grammys, fresh off her second surprise pregnancy announcement. Suffice it to say, we're unable to contain ourselves.
- The Weeknd and Daft Punk: The pair will join forces to sing The Weeknd's new song, "I Feel It Coming." Daft Punk is also featured on the same song on The Weeknd's new album, Starboy.
- Alicia Keys and Maren Morris: In addition to announcing The Weeknd and Daft Punk, this collboration was also added to the lineup.
- Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest, and Dave Grohl: The singer-rapper-musician, hip hop veterans, and rock legend will all take the stage together.
- Bruno Mars: In January, the Grammys made an official announcement that Mars is expected to appear.
- John Legend: As if his turn in La La Land wasn't enough of a treat for this award season, Legend is set to croon on the Grammys stage.
- Chance the Rapper: Chance the Rapper was added to the growing list at the beginning of February.
- Little Big Town: The country band, who recently collaborated with Taylor Swift on "Better Man," will perform.
- Sturgill Simpson: Simpson was announced with the new crop of performers at the beginning of February.
- William Bell and Gary Clark Jr.: The soul singer and blues musician will pair up for a special performance during the night.
- Metallica: Yep. Metallica.
- Carrie Underwood: Because what would the Grammys be without a little Underwood-brand country twang?
- Keith Urban: We're almost just as excited to see Nicole Kidman singing along in the audience. Almost.
