This Wise 5-Year-Old Is the Feminist Hero We Should All Aspire to Be
At just 5 years old, Eva is already excited to exercise her right to vote. A star on The Secret Life of 5-Year-Olds, Eva has won over the hearts of internet users everywhere for sharing her feminist words of wisdom. In the clip above, she teaches her fellow 5-year-old, Jude, the ins and outs of karate and explains how the martial art is intended for both genders, not just for boys.
When Jude says girls shouldn't be scientists because "they make silly potions," Eva snaps back with a witty response, saying, "I extracted DNA from a banana once." But that's not even the best part, as she wraps up the video with a succinct yet accurate reminder. "Boys aren't better than girls," Eva said. "They're exactly the same."
Watch the video above to see what Eva has to say about gender equality.
