Why a Stranger at a Grocery Store Is 1 Mom's Hero For "Taking" Her Baby
While grocery shopping with her mom and baby boy, Lauren Walker wasn't surprised that her little one had started to get a bit "restless" during the trip. However, what did shock this new mom was how a stranger at the grocery store reacted to her child on the verge of a meltdown.
An employee at a Marks & Spencer in Scotland approached Lauren and her mom in the aisle. "This man took the time with him to talk away so we could manage to get some shopping done," the mom wrote on Facebook.
However, the young man's kindness didn't stop there. When Lauren, her mom, and her baby approached the checkout line, her little boy immediately squealed in delight at seeing his new friend again. The employee's response was equally adorable - he took the baby from his mom's arms and held him behind the cash register to let him "help" as he rang up their items. "[My baby] smiled and squealed the full way through it because he was having so much fun!" she wrote on the store's Facebook page. "This man made my shopping experience so much easier and the fact he took time with my son as well was great."
Although Lauren never got the man's name, she hopes her message of gratitude reaches him as soon as possible!
