Diorshow Fans Will Freak Out Over This Genius New Mascara Tube
Any true mascara junkie knows that Dior's Diorshow is one of the most iconic volumizing formulas on the market. Since its debut in 2002 and relaunch in 2015, the brand has created a handful of popular spinoffs of the product, including Iconic (for curling) and Black Out (for superdark lashes). This April, there will be an exciting new addition to the Diorshow family, and we can honestly say that we've never seen anything like it before.
Diorshow Pump'N'Volume Mascara made its debut backstage at the Fall 2017 Dior show in Paris. As Creative and Image Director of Christian Dior Makeup Peter Philips explains in the above video, it has a flexible tube. You can pump and squeeze it, which allows you to massage the formula into the brush for rich, dense volume.
This is a completely genius, game-changing concept in the product-development landscape for a few reasons. The first is that this is basically several tubes of mascara in one: every time you use the mascara, you can decide how voluminous you want it to make your lashes. Perhaps you decide not to squeeze the tube so your fringe looks a little more natural, or you squeeze it a lot so you really can load product onto the brush.
Additionally, this will likely last longer than the average tube for many shoppers. Those who are prone to pumping their mascara wands in their tubes for intense volume know that it's bad for the product: it adds extra air into the tube, which dries out the formula faster. This innovation totally negates the need for applying multiple coats.
Keep reading to discover more about the product, then get ready to shop Diorshow Pump'N'Volume when it launches on April 1.
