Dove's New Campaign Features 5 Empowering Latinas
Dove is highlighting real beauty in their newest campaign. The skincare brand recruited Peruvian photographer Mario Testino to shoot 32 women and girls from 15 countries, ages 11 to 71, who believe beauty comes from within. Among those women: five inspiring Latinas - including two pint-sized girls from Mexico that will melt your heart.
With the Real Beauty Pledge, Dove is committing to using women (not models) on their advertising, from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, and without any retouching. "Globally 8 out of 10 girls opt out of key life activities when they don't feel good about the way they look. Dove has a mission to ensure the next generation grows up enjoying a positive relationship with the way they look," the pledge reads. Badass! We're giving serious props to the brand for this initiative and admiring the gorgeous photos and inspiring quotes from the Latinas in the campaign ahead.
