Ice Meets Fire in the First Official Poster For Game of Thrones Season 7
The season seven premiere of Game of Thrones is still months away, so in the meantime, HBO has graciously given fans their first taste of what's to come: an official poster. OK, OK, yes, it's just a poster (which was released during the SXSW Festival on Wednesday), but the fire vs. ice theme appears to be a clear allusion to the budding rivalry (or relationship?) between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, both of whom will compete for their spot on the Iron Throne (along with Tyrion, maybe?). Then again, as you might remember from the season six finale, Dany and her dragons are on their way to Westeros, while the Night's King and his terrifying army of wights and White Walkers are getting closer to the Wall. Who knows what season seven holds for sure, but it seems like a dragon vs. White Walker showdown is imminent.
