Now That He'll Be a Dad of 2, Here Are Mark Zuckerberg's Best Parenting Moments

After welcoming his daughter publicly to the world - with a Facebook post, of course - Mark Zuckerberg stole our hearts with more and more supersweet snapshots of baby Max. His latest post now has hearts exploding not only because he announced that he and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are expecting a second child, but also because of his explanation for why he's thrilled that the baby is another girl.

"After our difficult experience having Max, we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child. When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl," Mark wrote. "I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other."

The Facebook CEO has been open about major milestones in his family's life by sharing multiple daddy-daughter moments on social media since Max's Dec. 1, 2015 birth. In addition to using the platform to reveal that they'd be giving away 99 percent of their Facebook shares in Max's honor, Mark was also open about the three miscarriages that his wife suffered before conceiving Max as well as his plan to take two months off of work following her birth. "Studies show that when working parents take time to be with their newborns, outcomes are better for the children and families," Zuckerberg shared on Facebook.

Because of all the time he's spent devoted to little Max, we've reaped the benefits - in the form of insanely adorable photos. We can't get enough of how sweet some of the photos he's posted over the last year are, from one of him holding her in a simple swaddle to precious time at the doctor's office before getting her first round of vaccinations. Good thing Zuckerberg's Facebook profile isn't set on private so we can continue "liking" all of their precious moments!
