Parents Need to Check Out Gerber's New Food Recall ASAP
Gerber announced that they are voluntarily recalling specific food for toddlers due to allergy concerns.
The affected product is Cheese Ravioli Pasta Pick-Ups and the company is warning parents because the egg allergen warning is missing from the packaging. Although eggs are listed in the ingredients list, it is not included in the "contains" warning section.
Gerber is now removing the product from stores as a precaution over the packaging missing information. Parents can check for the UPC code, 159070, to know if their box of ravioli is impacted. Symptoms of an egg allergy in kids include trouble breathing, hives, flushing or swelling skin, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, itching around the mouth, runny nose, rapid heartbeat, and low blood pressure.
