The Adorable Reason This 4-Year-Old Boy Ran Away From His Competitor at a Wrestling Match
What 4-year-old Isaiah Lineberry from Pennsylvania did at his first-ever wrestling tournament made everyone in the stands laugh out loud - literally. In the 53-second clip uploaded by his mother, Alexis Salyers, Isaiah can be seen shaking hands with his competitor, who just so happens to be a girl. As soon as the referee blows the whistle for the wrestling match to begin, Isaiah takes off running away from the girl, not once, but twice as she chases after him.
Isaiah's mother, Alexis, told ABC News that she asked him why he ran away after the match. "And he said, 'I don't know, Mommy, but it was silly.'" The proud mom also revealed that Isaiah may have just caught a case of cold feet after being intimidated by size difference between himself and the girl, who was 5 years old at the time. "He's wrestled in several tournaments since then and has been in the top four placements in them," she shared. "It was just that one fluke match."
Isaiah's adorable reaction has won over hearts all across social media. "Keep running kiddo. We're nothing but trouble," one woman wrote in the comment section after the video was posted on Facebook. Watch it for yourself in the clip above.
