The Major Way Gigi Hadid Is Helping Zayn Malik With His Versus Versace Campaign
Following the announcement that Zayn Malik would be collaborating with Versus Versace on a collection, the singer shared a mysterious sneak peek of its upcoming campaign. In a cryptic video shared to Instagram, Zayn announced he would be starring in the campaign alongside Adwoa Aboah. Not only that, but it was photographed by his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid!
In the behind-the-scenes video, Gigi is shown being the ultimate Instagram girlfriend - to borrow the term that originated with a viral video that depicted doting partners who photograph their significant others for Instagram. In his caption, Zayn simply wrote, "Stay tuned."
The partnership is set to culminate in his debut capsule collection, which will be released sometime in May. According to Donatella Versace, Zayn was tapped for this opportunity partly due to his relationship with Gigi. Describing the moment she knew it would be a great fit, Donatella said, "When I saw him with Gigi. The way he treats Gigi, like a gentleman: You don't see this anymore."
