You'll Want to Re-Create Margiela's Vibrant Beauty Looks For Your Next Music Festival
If you're obsessed with music festival culture, you know that beauty inspiration for these events lies around every corner. Maybe you decide to add emoji hair tapestries to your strands after texting a friend, or perhaps you go the intergalactic beauty route after rewatching E.T.. After seeing the Fall 2017 Maison Margiela show during Paris Fashion Week, though, we're inspired to translate tropical bird vibes into our hair and makeup.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath and stylist Eugene Souleiman worked together to create an edgy yet whimsical beauty look for the models. This included bird-like eye makeup (reminiscent of Lady Gaga's "flame eye" from the Grammys, but with negative space and vibrant rainbow hues), hair accented with colorful thread and yarn, and tons of feathers everywhere.
Though these looks might not be ideal for your average night out, we can totally see gals rocking them while rocking out to Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar at Coachella. Read on to see for yourself.
