1 Cicis Pizza Employee Gave a Dad Hope For His Kid With Special Needs

It's amazing how one simple act can give a person hope for the future and a restored faith in humanity, and for Jesse Young, that unexpected act was performed by a manager at a Cicis Pizza in Tennessee.

While eating at the restaurant with his son, Jesse witnessed Diana, an employee who appeared to have special needs, eating her lunch at a nearby table. Once she was finished, the manager, Brandon, came out to clear her plate for her, then took a napkin and gently helped her wipe her mouth.

"As a parent of a special needs child I was almost moved to tears by this simple gesture," Jesse wrote in a post to Facebook. "Just knowing that there are people like this in the world gives me hope. He didn't know that I was watching, but I assure you that I made him aware of what I saw and how much it blessed me. His response was 'I just try to treat people the way my grandparents taught me to.'"

Along with his kind words, Jesse shared two photos - one of Diana smiling at her table, the other of Brandon. The dad continued his post to explain why he was so eager to share this simple yet sweet act with the world. "I think about how often we are quick to share our bad customer service experiences on Facebook," he wrote. "I think that we should be just as quick to share these experiences as well. So, if you're ever in Murfreesboro, Tennessee . . . stop in and see Brandon and let him know how thankful you are for people like him."
