7-Year-Old With His Own Recycling Company Is the Environmental Hero We Need
At just 7 years old, Ryan Hickman already has quite the bulky résumé. The president of his own business, Ryan's Recycling Company, the young entrepreneur developed a fixation with recycling when he was 3 years old and decided to make a side hustle of it.
To date, Ryan has made a whopping $21,000 from collecting and disposing of more than 200,000 cans and bottles from his family and "customers." That's quite the paycheck for a 7-year-old, and he's got big plans for spending the money. "My parents want me to save my money for college, but I want to save it for a garbage truck," he said in the video above. How cute is he?!
Watch the video above to learn more about Ryan's budding business; if you like this feature on him, you'll be sure to get a kick out of the adorable videos on his YouTube channel and Facebook page!
