Adam Levine's Tribute to Christina Grimmie Will Make You Openly Weep
Adam Levine paid tribute to the late Christina Grimmie during The Voice on Tuesday night. The singer honored the season six alum, who was tragically shot and killed last June at her concert, by giving a moving performance of The Beatles' "Hey Jude" with the rest of his team. "God, I loved her so much," he told Christina's parents, Albert and Tina, and brother Mark, who were in the audience. "It is unfair that she is not here. Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you." Aside from moving the audience to tears with his performance, the Maroon 5 singer and host Carson Daly also helped announce the Christina Grimmie Foundation, which will "benefit those impacted by gun violence and families - just like her own - [that are] affected by breast cancer."
