All Eyez on Me: The Trailer For the Tupac Shakur Biopic Is About to Give You Chills
The official trailer for the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me has been released, and it looks intense. Newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. is playing the late artist, to whom he bears an uncanny, almost scary resemblance. The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira is also starring as Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, and Jamal Woolard reprises his role as Biggie Smalls from 2009's Notorious. Fans of The Vampire Diaries will also recognize Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett (before the Smith). The trailer shows Tupac's early life and rise to fame while a powerful voiceover from his activist stepfather, Mutulu Shakur (Jamie Hector), says, "You must stand for something. You must live for something, and you must be willing to die for something." Watch the trailer above before the film hits theaters on June 16.
