As This Girl Spoke About Her Deployed Dad at School, He Showed Up Right Behind Her
After being deployed for over six months, Army Captain Erik Nowak returned home and surprised his unsuspecting daughter in the sweetest way. At Osborne Elementary School in Pennsylvania, Erik's daughter, Imogen, was asked to briefly speak about how people can help soldiers overseas by sending care packages. What she didn't know, however, is that her dad was standing right behind her as she spoke.
As Erik approached Imogen, you can hear people reacting in the background - even though she still has no idea! Then, Erik leaned down to applaud her presentation and said, "I liked it a lot." At that moment, Imogen jumped into his arms and exclaimed, "Daddy!" Watch the sweet moment in its entirety, above.
