Here's How Joanna Gaines Picks the Perfect Paint Color Every Time
Ask any interior designer about his or her method for choosing the perfect paint color, and you'll undoubtedly get the same answer: paint swatches. Painting eight-inch by 10-inch swatches of whatever paint you're considering and checking them out in different lighting might be a foolproof method, but it's also a ton of work, not to mention cleanup.
When Fixer Upper host Joanna Gaines partnered with Kilz to create her paint collection, she also made sure there was an easy, mess-free way to test the colors. The solution? Eight-inch by 10-inch peel-and-stick swatches that you can order for $2 a pop and move around to the darkest and lightest walls in the room. Brilliant!
