How Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli Took Their Romance From the Slammer to the Aisle
Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli tied the knot on March 25 in a stunning desert wedding in Palm Springs, but the couple have been going strong for quite some time now. Samira and Lauren first met on the set of Orange Is the New Black - Lauren is a writer for the Netflix show, on which Samira played Poussey - and got together in September 2014 after Lauren filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Steve Basilone, and penned a powerful essay about discovering her sexual identity. The pair announced their "magical" engagement on Instagram in October 2016, and in a recent interview with Out magazine, Samira revealed she was preparing for their trip to Palm Springs when Lauren came home and asked her to marry her. In honor of their beautiful romance, we're looking back at their cutest moments together outside the walls of Litchfield.
