How to Get Gorgeous, Glossy Curls Overnight
Primping and preening in front of a mirror for hours before a big night is fun, but there is something to be said for extremely lazy (and effective!) beauty techniques. If we can sleep or nap while getting gorgeous, that strategy skyrockets to the top of our routine. Now we've discovered the perfect strategy for waking up with fairy-tale-approved ringlets instead of a rat's nest - plopping.
Plopping or plunking is a way to air-dry curly hair overnight so it remains glossy and frizz-free. By scrunching your strands and carefully wrapping them close to the scalp in a soft t-shirt, you'll get tighter, more defined curls. Once you get the hang of folding your shirt like a turban, you'll wonder why you ever tried any other way!
