James Van Der Beek by himself? Hot. James Van Der Beek as a doting dad? Sexy as hell. The former Dawson's Creek star showed off his beautiful family on Sunday when they hit the red carpet at the Safe Kids Day event at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, CA. James, who recently made headlines for enduring a painfully awkward morning show interview, seemed to put those bad vibes behind him when he posed for photos with his wife, Kimberly, and their daughters Emilia and Olivia. He then cuddled up to their other daughter, Annabel, inside the fun event and munched on In-N-Out burgers (their son, Joshua, appeared to sit this one out).
