Jimmy Kimmel Breaks Down in Tears While Paying Tribute to the Late Don Rickles
The comedy world was devastated by the loss of Don Rickles on Thursday. Jimmy Kimmel paid tribute to the late legendary 90-year-old funnyman - who passed away from kidney failure at his LA home - on Jimmy Kimmel Live later that night and wore all of his emotions on his sleeve during his opening monologue. "This is not going to be our usual show tonight - and I'll tell you right up front that I'm going to cry, probably a lot, which is embarrassing," he began the 12-minute-long speech, before breaking down while describing Don as "youthful and funny, sharp and generous." He goes on to share some pretty amazing stories about his close friend and idol, as well as a moving video tribute. Grab some tissues and watch it above.
